Arnette Eyewear was founded by Greg Arnette in 1992 in San Clemente, California. Arnette began by selling sunglasses out of the truck of a rental car at the beaches in Southern California. Arnette sold the business to Bausch and Lomb in 1996 for $100 million, but stayed on as CEO.
Today, Arnette Eyewear is a subsidiary of Luxottica, who is the largest maker and seller of sunglasses in the world. Greg Arnette stepped down in 2000 when Luxottica acquired the company. Arnette sunglasses and goggles are best known for use by professional skateboarders, surfers, and skiing enthusiasts.
Most of the original employees of Arnette left the company soon after Luxottica took over, many of them, including former COO Bruce Beach, said that Luxottica appeared to have no interest in learning about their customers and that they were taking the company in a different direction.

Hello
Ive be buying and wear your glasses for years.
About 3 years ago I bought 2 pairs in Singapore and 2 years ago I bought 2 pairs in the USA and 1 pair in Canada.
And 3 pairs out of 5 pairs, the polarized coating is coming off on the outside and inside of the glasses. And this is disturbing as the 3 pairs I haven’t worn yet and when the first glasses of the 5 pairs I notice the coating coming off and this making the glasses not wearable. I checked the other 4 sets and 2 more sets were the same as in the coating coming off and I had never worn them.
Model #
Stick Up 4147-67/83 3P Coating is coming off inner and outer lens. (1 Pair)
Quick Draw 4178-2148/81 59016 3P (2 Pairs)
I don’t know where my receipts are I looked and Ive moved 2 times in the last 3 years and I stumped and disturbed that this glasses are my favorites and the coating quality is of poor quality.
Please try to help a true supporter and fan of your glasses. I love them and I get complements on them all the time.
Regards

I have a set of Arnette sunglasses that belonged to our son that passed away 7 years ago. We lost both our sons within 10 days so things they owned are cherished by us. Yesterday my husband pulled the glasses from a glasses case and the temple bar snap off. I was wondering if there is a way to have them repaired The side that snap off was the left temple and the information on the glasses was 250-01/33. 3P. I would be so happy to eat these repaired for him. He was very upset that the glasses broke and thought he would have to just throw them in a memory box we have.
Thank You
