    This is the worst bank ever. You have to be a desperate person to use this company for anything. They have the worst service agents on the planet. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. #AllyHasTheWorstService

    If you enjoy head-bashing time-wasting frustrating different-story-every-day, runaround mindless bureaucracy, you’ll love this bank! It’s great if you like to spend countless hours on the phone accomplishing absolutely nothing. For a special treat try adding a spouse as an owner to an existing account just after you move. The list of documentation they WON’T accept will amaze you. Like bank statements and copies of mail with you and your spouse’s name together. They even insisted we didn’t know how to spell our names, and demanded we spell out our middle names in a form with space for only an initial. Stuff like that.

    I’m a US Army veteran as was my brother. My brother was KIA. I asked for a 30 day extension because of funeral cost and was denied. What a horrible bank. Also I could barely understand the CSR

    This is the third time Ally bank has messed up my deposit’s of goverment pay /housing allotment. This time they deactivate my card and took my atrm card while i had 840 dollars in my account. If you are d.o.d. or military you can not bank with these guys. Flat out this time i was hung up on by kim and jessica barely could answer question on how this could happen.
    This bank has costed me over 1400 dollars in late fee’s in the last year… This bank is horrid to military family and there spouse’s please please i ruge all to never bank with this company ewver again .. I am getting a lawyer

        I feel horrible for all the customers who have had bad experiences with ALLY BANK, especially the fine members of our military! Shame on ALLY!
        I was ready to open numerous high yield CD’s totalling $1M, however after reading the multitude of complaints, (without seeing even one positive review). I have decided to go elsewhere.
        ALLY bank may want to consider a name change, because they don’t come across as being connected to the customer as a “friend, or ally”!
        The CEO needs to WAKE UP and quickly enact serious changes to the way her company does business before it completely implodes!! Customers keep ALLY in business. Keep giving lousy service, and as soon as word gets out, there will be no more customers!

        So glad I read the reviews before proceeding.

    The worst experience ever!!!!!!!! Calls are sent overseas and when I first put in for my payment to be taken out it took it strait to the day it was due so I called and ask to pay sooner they told me that all I needed to do was change the date online which I did so that payment was processed how ever!!!!!! They took another payment out and when I call to have to them put my money back they tell me it will take at least 10 to 15 day!!!!!! Wtf I need my money now no help when I asked for a supervisor now I’m waiting for a call it a absolute nightmare I calling the BBB and I will be calling the auto industry division

    have to sat costumer service sucks and when you have a problem then send you to someone out side the states who cant speack English and when you have been in the hosapital for 3 weeks come out and then call to see if you can push a payment to the end of the loan cause of the hospital stay you get told you can defer it but next month you have to pay 900 bucks its like wow you really think we made of that kinda of money. on hand when us working folks live pay check to pay check in this day and age . so disappointed been paying on time and early for 2 years and this is what I get for treatment you only care about the almighty dollar and not you costumers and we are the ones who make your company run that’s ok I filed several complaints and going to make sure your pratices are well know so no one gets a loan from you I know I wont.

    Terrible customer service, and no call backs. They took part of my payment and applied it to someone else’s account. The other part went to mine. I had to reverse the payment in order for them to find it. Also, they told me to make a payment by a certain date so it won’t be late which they were wrong!! It hit our credit. We’ve been waiting for a resolution. I’ll never use Ally EVER!! I paid off 2 vehicles just to get rid of them. Yet my credit is still messed up, my score down due to Ally’s mistake. I just want them to fix my credit. Can’t find any of the bigwig’s emails. They’re hiding.

    Customer Service has a serious problem. THEY DON’T HAVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Phone calls are answer by agents overseas that can barely speak english. Big negative there. Does not help to inquire for a Corporate Headquarters number..they will not give you one.
    Ally needs to remember:::::::
    IF YOU DON’T HAVE SATISFIED CUSTOMERS, YOU DON’T HAVE A BUSINESS.

    and that means you don’t have a job.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I clearly PAID OFF my vechicle in July. I know I paid it off because ALLY CLEARLY SENT ME AN OVERPAYMENT CHECK!!! … later they state that the payment was reversed!?!?! What The..!! So, I paid again… thinking maybe something happened…. I received another OVERPAYMENT check from ALLY. A week later ALLY sends me a confirmation email …
    “CONGRATULATIONS FOR PAYING OFF YOUR VEHICLE! THE VEHICLE IS ALL YOURS!” I tried to log on and of course it says I don’t have an account with them because it was paid off. Yet, 2 days later I receive phone calls from their COLLECTIONS DEPT. Stating I DIDN”T PAY THE VEHICLE OFF BECAUSE it was REVERSED!!?!?!?
    SERIOUSLY!!! I’LL BE CONTACTING MY LAWYER, AS OF NOW, AND WILL BE TAKING ALLY TO COURT. ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY FOR PAYING BACK TWICE!! AND MY TITLE!!! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK…. ALLY IS HORRIBLE!!! COMPLETELY CONTRACTED OVERSEAS IN THE PHILIPPINES … AT LEAST THAT’S WHAT THEY’RE REP FROM COLLECTIONS STATED. NO DISRESPECT … BUT COME ON!!!!! NO ONE HAS ANY MORE AUTHORITY THAN THE NEXT…. NO ESCALATION TO GET YOU TO SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS!!

    I have been a customer for only 2 months and:

    1. Customer service sucks. CSR have a tough time with English.
    2. I was told that the unpaid balance on my statement was Ally Banks verbiage for Outstanding Principal Amount.
    3. CSR managers are just as hard to talk to as the CSR’s and for the very same reasons.
    4. Finance charges do not show up on my statement.
    5. None of the CSR’s know who the CEO is or how to contact them.

    And this is only the beginning.

    For 6 months I have been waiting for a call back from “upper management” to discuss, dispute, and resolve my account. Here I am, still waiting! Terrible “customer service”.

    overpaid on auto loan being told by customer care that there was no overpayment. when i can see that a extra payment was token from my bank account. Customer service for this company is horrible!

      Customer Service is the worst I have ever seen. No one speaks English, you can’t talk to anyone higher up, no one listens to a word you say, even this email service and comment box is so slow my dead grandmother could make the words come out faster. Then on top of it, and after being behind for a year due to a work injury, I finally catch everything up, they send me a congratulations letter, and then tells me they never sent the letter and that I never caught up anythinging
