I booked a resort home in Orlando April 2018 for our Family Christmas trip Dec 26-Jan 2.
I paid the deposit and then final payment in Nov as required. On Dec 6th I received an email from the owner stating they were cancelling our reservation because they were keeping it for the holiday!!! WHO DOES THIS????? I call Flip Key for what I thought would help… WRONG! They will not do anything but give me 160 credit when (because of the late date to reserve) every home is not more than 3000.00 vs 1800 I originally paid. My family vacation is ruined and over we will not be able to go. I have lost rental car fee and airfare because we cannot find housing. Unbelievable you run a business like this!!! I spend more than 6 hours on the phone listening to your fake customer service people say ” I understand” 120 times BS!

They overcharge!!! I am a customer and got overcharged booking through flipkey. 69 overcharged that went to them. Extremely disappointing.

I am having a great deal of difficulty getting any info from our rental on Nevis. I am told I will hear back in a few days then nothing, again the same reply. I have called YOUR phone to lodge a complaint only to have it say the line was full and no messages will be saved. Is this whole thing a scam??? I get no reply from owner and now none from you. I have a listing on Flipkey in Mexico and I am trying to get in touch with them and they do NOT have a phone number listed that can be called from Mexico to the United States. They only have an 877 toll free number – which can not be used out of the United States.
Really????!?! Please also list a direct dial phone number so your CUSTOMERS can get some customer service.

A guest posted a horrible review about our cabin!! This guest DID NOT stay at our cabin. Your reps. could not find them, and we’ve talked to all the guest who did stay at our home from the last week of March to April 10th. We are getting calls from up coming guest who have already paid wanting to know if they should cancel the vacation at our cabin. The guest wrote that the water at our cabin looked like urine, that the hot tub was slimy and had sediments, as well as the drinking water. That is not how my husband and I do business. We don’t appreciate how easy it was for this person to be able to leave such a nasty review without us even knowing it. Our cabin is the most booked cabin in Gatlinburg TN on tripadvisor.com. We have for the past two years had more than 320 days a year booked. The email I received told me that if the person says they stayed at our cabin even though we all know they didn’t that it would not be removed and that it could take up to 14 days. I’ve had 7 calls and two message about this already. If I have to I will get my lawyer involved. This is not a threat this is business, and we’ve worked very hard over the past 3.5 years to make ours a success, and we in the process of purchasing two lots to be two more cabins on. We have two rentals on your site now, the condo hasn’t done as good as the cabin so we list it on airbnb.com and it’s doing great there. This situation is an emergency to us…is this what is going to happen in the future that owners have no rights at all, and that we’re on our on with tripadvisor/flipkey.com?
