Heart Attack Grill was founded in 2005 by current owner Jon Basso in Tempe, Arizona. The company owns a Las Vegas restaurant which features high fat, high calorie food and a hospital theme.
The company had 3 locations at one time, however, after the spokesperson for the restaurant located in Chandler died at 29 years of age and 529 pounds, the restaurant was closed. The location in Dallas, Texas, also closed soon afterwards, with no explanation given. However, the one in Las Vegas is open. With 9,982 calorie burgers, and all you can eat French fries cooked in lard, the reason for the name of the restaurant is clear.
Heart Attack Grill uses controversy as their marketing strategy. Food is served by waitresses dressed as nurses in skimpy uniforms and those who weigh over 350 pounds can eat as much as they like for free.
Headquarters for the Heart Attack Grill are located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Went to the place today planned. This on my trip from colorado. And get there and in big print says cash only. On the door what if people from. Out of state dont carry cash. How they suppose to go and eat. At the place i wont be back in kas vegas. Till next year so was real pi**ed when had this planned. And took a 30 dollar taxi ride just. To see a sign on a door and have to pay the same to get back to the strip. This is total lack of bullsh*t way to run. A business hopeful this changes.

Heart attack restaurant…. Vegas (Freemont)
My family a I came to Heart attack for dinner on Wednesday evening about 9:15 pm. The hostest welcome us and expalind to us the Covid restrictions were 6 to a table but we has 13. She told us we could do 6 at one table and 7 at the other as long a one adult say with our kids and we agreed. When we were seating Courtney told us that we couldn’t do that and tried to make one of our children sit at the end of the table by himself. We tried to explain what was told to us prior to seating. Courtney was EXTREMELY rude by engaging in a verbal altercation with my fiance and continued to express how she was not going to do this. She told my fiance “if you don’t like it then y’all can leave” went to Talila the manager on duty and expressed my dissatisfaction with the way we were treated. She immediately apologized and Courtney was continuing to argue with my fiance. My family and I (a party of 13) left the establishment.
We were visiting Vegas for the first time (some of us) and this experience was NOT a good representation of your establishment nor the state of Nevada. I will be contacting the BBB and report the young lady named Courtney as well as the establishment for deplorable customer service.
Disappointed Customer,

Hi Brian did you ever get feedback from BBB? We had awful customer service yesterday as well and I will dig as deep as I need to in order to report them. As soon as we walked in the hostess is yelling “hey hey to get my attention” then says no outside drinks In here. Okay too easy to just say excuse me Ma’am could you finish your drink before stepping in… anyways never once did she ask if our whole group was present before we were seated so we told her how many we currently had and one of our party members came about 30 min later and she refused to even offer him a seat close to us. She just turned him away. When we told the mngr he said yes that was wrong of her I’ll talk to her as they r all laughing thinking it was cute when he told her as she was rubbing on him…. First n foremost the guest was of color and disabled and she was being very extra to make it known he isn’t welcome. The mngr handled it very poorly and when we asked how is he going to fix this for the embarrassment of our guest he said u guys can pay your bill then called their b*tch a** security who is gonna tell us u guys r the typical let’s place the race card game. That sh*t really had us hot. First n foremost u got some of every race at this table and u guys clearly turned the guy away out of spite. Screw this place. Our server was great tho and she even told us another customer had complaint bout the hostess too. She even wanted to search our gift bag, b*tch who u think u r? Very clear her and the mngr have a thing going on because a typical employee isn’t gonna be cocky at the hostess stand….

We had a group of 40 people for company get together at Fremont Street Heart Attack Grill. As soon as our Host walked up to the Heart Attack Grill Host say she cant seat 40 people. Our host told the host at the restaurant she can seat how many she can at once that we don’t have to all sit together or at the same time. The girl then said she will not be able to serve us. So my boss the owner of the company walked in & tried to get seats & he was starting to get upset because the restaurant host was ignoring him. So he asked if she spoke english since she was ignoring him. That was wrong of him but he was frustrated at this point. The host of Heart Attack Grill proceeded to say that she does & that we are disrespsctful to her & the other girl, I only heard one disrespectful thing come out of my boss mouth & that was after the host had already refused to seat us for no reason & ignored us when we tried to talk to her. She then said she refuses to seat us & has every right to, So we told her fine that she just lost a lot a money & we walked out. I thought about it & went back in to ask for the manager contact info & the girls name that refused us service. The security stepped in between & told her not to respond. She told me she has the right to refuse service to who she wants & I told her “Yes, you do have the right to refuse service to us or anyone else, but I also have the right to file complaint with your management” Needless to say she refused to give up any info about the manager or owner info or her name. As a person that runs a company customer service is #1 & the host provided bad customer service from the start. And turning away 40 people for no reason other than they cant seat them together is a joke. Especially when we told her she can seat everyone separate, & that we don’t have to be seated all at once. It was going to be my first time at Heart Attack Grill, but I will never step foot in that business just from this one experience..We got right across from Heart Attack Grill right away and they put us all together & their service was great! I would have been so upset with my host if she turned away 40 people on a Saturday night. That was a lot of money the company would have brought in not to mention the great reviews we all would have left to help boost sales. Now I have nothing good to say about Heart Attack Grill. I never got to experience because the host can turn anyone away at her convenience. SInce she refused to give her name I do have a picture if needed. I am disappointed how this host treated our group & thought it to be very unprofessional. Especially since most ofo the people we were with had never tried Heart Attack Grill including myself. So it was a bad experience for 40 people.Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas is in desperate need of a better host to handle Saturday rush.
