The company currently has more than 1,000 locations throughout the US and Canada, as well as an active eCommerce site. The parent company has recently begun to expand the chain to operate in larger cities. Maurices offers women’s clothing up to size 26, as well as sleepwear, shoes, and accessories.

I have been asking for a member of upper management at corporate to call me for over a month now and it still has not happened and when you call the corporate phone number it goes straight back to the customer service line, there is zero way to communicate with the corporate office

I was interviewed for a stylist position on Saturday. I mentioned that I’m disabled. I was sent on a task to do in the store. When I returned to the interview room the 2 women interviewing me proceeded to ask me what my disabilities are. That’s illegal. HR should contact me IMMEDIATELY. If employment isnt offered a complaint will be filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

As a disabled Maurice’s employee,,you’re grasping at straws “offer me the job or I’ll tell?” you shouldn’t want a job that is ablist,,,just report it and move on.

I would love to hear to hear from one person that has actually won one of Maurices Survey’s they email you.. Because I’ve done it dozens of times and I know lots of other people that have done it and I feel like is this just a thing they are doing to say there will be a winner but really no one does.

We have not had very good experience with customer service, but Maurice’s credit card customer service…Capital One…is horrible. I have had my account for years and was opened with a $500 credit line. No big, wanted to try their clothing line and see if I liked them enough to continue shopping there. Today, I contacted the credit department for a credit increase. This was the first time ever asking for an increase. The lady there was rude and instantly denied my request for a total line of $1000-$1500. Now I have, and so does my husband, have a very good credit score….and a very good combined annual salary into the upper to mid 6 figures.
This makes no sense and Maurice’s should be concerned that their credit handler is turning away business for them. What’s in your wallet??? NOT CAPITAL ONE!!!

Worst customer service! I placed an online order on 11/01/2017. It shipped in 2 shipments and my account charged. I received the second shipment on 11/09/2017 while the first shipment continued to say in transit to UPS. I contacted customer service on 11/13/2017 and was told if I did not receive it 11/17/2017 a new order would be created and sent to me. I called again today to say that the tracking continued to say the same thing. The customer service person put me on hold to recreate the order. After 25 minutes the call was disconnected. I then called back and spoke with another customer service representative who said I would have to file a lost package claim with UPS. Supervisor 1 and 2 said the same thing. Thankfully I’m getting my money back and will never shop here again. Making me file a lost claim package for something they can’t even show arrived at the facility and then billing me again and another three day wait for something I’ve already paid for sounds a lot like fraud.

I will never ever go to the Maurice’s in Lincoln city Oregon! The last 3 times I have been there with family or friends there has been this horrible girl that works there with pink and blonde hair who is very rude to the customers and to her staff! She yells and puts down her co workers right in front of the whole store! She has completely ruined that store for a lot of people! And to the co worker that she puts down at yells at you are a wonderful worker! You where the only one helping us and being kind to me and my family. I thank you who ever you are with the beautiful make up. You stand up for yourself and go work for someone who appreciates you!

I was a Maurices employee until yesterday. I worked in store 204 in Kirksville, MO. I have had multiple interactions that I feel are unprofessional. I gave my hours of availabilty to the manager but she scheduled me to work on a Wednesday. Wednesday is a day that I am not available. When I checked my schedule I realized that I would not be able to work. I casually mentioned to Jaclyn that Stephanie keeps scheduling me on the days I can’t work. Jaclyn’s response was to contact Stephanie tomorrow to get it switched. Jaclyn made contact with Stephanie before I could and fabricated the story, making it sound like I was upset. She told Stephanie that I yelled at her and was unprofessional & disrespectful. I disagree with any of those statements. I then heard from two key holders that they were talking bad about me and saying I was ungrateful & disrespectful. So I made up my mind that I was going to work my shifts and not get involved in the drama. I feel that the store manager should have been professional and pulled me into the office for a meeting to hear my side of the story. Another incident started this past Saturday. The manager & assistant manager were working the same shift. The store had received several boxes of freight but the freight was left untouched and instead they spent their shift gossiping and playing on their phones at the cash register. In fact I have had several customers & employees complain of them not pulling their weight. They are overheard by customers and other staff members gossiping about people. Which explains why this store’s sales are so low. On Sunday I was scheduled to work. I came in and the store manager was crying because she was upset another staff member had to call in due to car trouble. The store manager told her she had to “figure it out” because she was not covering for her. Stephanie opened the store until Katie was able to come in at 1:30pm. Prior to Katie’s arrival Stephanie did nothing but gossip about how irresponsible Katie was and that she was going to try to write her up for this incident. Stephanie made the commment she is burnt out on “covering for everybody” and was going to give her notice. Katie showed me the text message conversation when she arrived. The messages showed Katie was very apologetic, very respectful and that she would arrive at work as soon as possible. During our shift we were very busy with customers and we worked on freight together. The next morning, while I was at my full time job, I get a text from Stephanie asking how it was working with Katie the night before? She tried to call me when I didn’t respond. I replied “I am not getting in the middle of it”. Her response was “I don’t want you in the middle I am just trying to figure out why nothing got done last night?” I told her we did work on freight and we were busy with customers. I asked why she was not contacting Katie since she was a key holder? She said “just wanted to know if she was ok?” I told her ” maybe you should ask her, maybe there wouldn’t be so much drama at work if you said things to people’s faces instead of talk about everyone behind their back?” She responded stating she was having a meeting with Katie today. I said “if you are having a meeting, why are you contacting me? I also said “I am not going to be involved in work drama, so from now on leave me out of it.” I feel this is unprofessional behavior. I always come to work on time & do the best job I can. I was sales associate of the week according to the UPT, two weeks in a row. Stephanie and Jaclyn made a big deal out of it and gave me a gift with a card that stated how thankful they were for my hard work and to keep it up. On Tuesday, August 1st, I arrived for my shift at 5:30 pm. Jaclyn was very friendly and said she wanted to do my 45 day review.(I have been ther for over 90 days). She began reading the review to me which I felt basically tore me down & made me feel like their worst employee. All of the qualifications were marked in red “not met.” I asked her where these results were coming from due to the fact that I have only worked with Jaclyn twice, there is no way she can know my work ethic. She stated that “this is the way the management team feels about you as a whole.” For several reasons I feel this review was very unfair and untrue. I asked her why this review was so negative because a week ago they were thanking me for all my hard work? She stated “it is because of your attitude right now!” She said, “Stephanie and I feel very betrayed by you.” I can’t help but feel like they gave me a negative review because I refused to talk negative about my former co-worker, Katie. I told her “the drama is not worth the 10 hours a week” and I walked out of the store. This store is very poorly managed. The associates and key holders are treated very unfairly and unprofessionally by the Store manager, Stephanie Athon, and 1st Assistant, Jaclyn Billington.
Some one should look into this. It is not fair to employees to have to deal with this type of work environment. This is the face of Maurices in this community! Two unprofessional, drama seeking women.

This will be my 2nd e-mail, hopefully I will get a response this time.

I am so please that your company carries clothes for the plus sized women at a reasonable price. Me, being a 6 ft tall woman, wearing a size 20 jean, it has gotten extremely hard for me to find jeans in my size and length (long / extra long) in your stores anymore. I have been to 3 stores in 3 different towns including Conroe, Huntsville, and Palestine, TX many times over the last 4 or 5 months trying to find a pair of jeans that fit me correctly, and almost every single time there are none in my size.

I know you all must hear this a lot since you all do not carry near as many longer lengths as you should. I personally know many women who love your stores but can never find jeans due to the lack of longer lengths. While you all market yourselves to cater to the plus size women, you are not doing a very good job and keeping up with other stores.
I have spent the last 30 minutes going through your $19.99 jean sale and literally have not found one pair of jeans in a longer length.

I am a college student who is only able to work part time, and I depend on your company for my clothes because you all are the only place that carries affordable jeans that I am pleased with. Is there any chance of you all beginning to carry a larger quantity of longer lengths on a regular basis? I know it may not seem like a huge deal, but for someone who has only been able to find pair of jeans in 4-5 months, it is major.

I visited the Edwardsville, IL Maurices store today and left very happy! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I purchased several pieces, most of which I wouldn’t have pulled off the rack myself. The ladies put together several outfits for me. All I did was tell them I was looking for a cute summer outfit and asked for suggestions. I frequent this store and have never been disappointed, but received exceptional service today. Great job!

I visited the jackson store on 3 24 17 i seen some friends in the store, and helped them find out fits for my friends daughter to go on spring break
They said they were in a big hurry as they had an appointment. So i found my friend some awesome clothes, while looking kinzie store associate said kim, do you know those people i said yes. She then said well you need to let us do our job, i then said no one was helping.kinzie ran to ashley on of the managers and “complained” she then approached me in the store in front of customers , and proceded to complain at me. I told her what was the big deal , she then told me that if i did not stop, she would call security. I’m in that store at least twice a mo. And have a 2,000 dollar credit with maurices. she told me she would have me “banned” from the store. My husbond was with me a heard the whole thing, i did nothing wrong, they do not like it when i help my FRIENDS l really felt threatned by both ashley, and kenzie. If this is the way i’m going to be treated i”m not “going back in the store” i wear nothing but maurices clothing and allways get many compliements !!!! I have never been nothing but polite to the assoiates , i told them “ashley and kenzie” if they were not going to be nice then i would not show them any “respect”. Please you need to repermand both women for this terable threat, is this the way a customer is to be treated ????????
