Free People Clothing Boutique, frequently called Free People, was founded in the early 1970’s by Dick Hayne and his wife Judy. Hayne wanted a store where people could purchase less than traditional clothing. Today, most people refer to this style of clothing as “bohemian”. The company was quite successful, especially with the younger generation. After opening a second location, Hayne decided to change the name to Urban Outfitters.
Urban Outfitters was very successful. Hayne again decided to make a change and open a subsidiary, which he renamed Free People. The Free People Clothing Boutique opened its “first” location in 2002 in Paramus, New Jersey. Today, Free People has m,ore than 81 locations in the US, along with 2 additional locations in Canada.
The company recently opened its own app where people can not only purchase their clothing directly via the app, but they can upload photos of themselves wearing Free People clothing.

Its been over a month that Free People at Stanford has charged our credit card and not shipped the goods. With four phone calls and two emails later— and $$$ already charged out of my bank account — I can’t seem to get a resolve at the local level. Nobody calls back. Spoke to two differnt managers. ( everyone claims to be a manager there ) and all we hear is they are still looking at a corporate level. HELLO is anyone out there! Date of Purchase was June 8th, 2017/ 1st call was June 13, /second call was June 20th,/ Third call was June 26th/ and forth call was June 27—– and NOW again today! TWO emails on June 30th and another one on July 7th!!!!
Next step is to claim fraud with my bank and write to the better Business Bureau

BEWARE Before you order from this company….I placed an order 3 months ago and only part of my order was shipped and delivered to me…When I called to find out where the rest of the order was no no one seem to know…So obviously I refused to pay for the part I did not received , so I disputed the charges for the items I did not receive…Low and behold…3 months later I tried to place a few orders online and because of FREE PEOPLES screw up on shipping a block was put on MY account to not have any future orders place…I tried calling customer service , who was unable to assist in the matter and when I called their corporate office I received horrible attitude from the woman who answered the phone and a care free ” who cares” and transferred me to a voicemail to someone who supposedly handles this …The woman was remained nameless because she refused to give me her name because she felt I was upset and didn’t what her name in any review. So my point being ladies and gentlemen …Thnk Twice before you waste your money on a corporate that clearly is corrupt and DOES NOT know how to handle ANY customer related issues. Remember WE are the reason YOU ALL have Jobs…I will not stop my campaign until this issue gets resolved in a professional and RIGHT manor!!! Trust me The next stop is our local New York News stations. This is NOT how to run a business …Punish your customers for YOUR mishap and your customer complaint department in your corporate office consist of ONE person when you are supposed to be a world wide CORPORATION… Clothing and designers are a dime a dozen and you can be dispensed just as easily as you started…..Who operates their business like this?? DISGRACEFUL

Clearly this is a pattern of theirs. Check out in the comments of what they did to me. I don’t know what is going on with this corporation but it NEEDS to STOP …They keep this up they will be out of business in a year.
