My granddaughter worked at the Erie, Pa location up until half hour ago when she quit from being bullied by certain staff and manager Beth Panko. She is home schooling and they had her working every day Monday-Friday plus days working 9 hrs. She is only 16 yrs old and this is not allowed. Being a manager she should know this. The district manager was in and she told him because this Beth ignored the request of my granddaughter not working all these hrs ( not allowed by PA law). Then Beth the manager talks about my granddaughter to other employees behind her back. Another worker has been bulling her also and nothing has been done about it. There was a waitress there also trying to tell my granddaughter what to do when she was a hostess not a server. What kind of managers are you making in charge of your restaurants? Sounds like immature ones to me. Sounds like alot of bulling going on there.

East Broad St Reynoldsburg, Ohio: We ate there several weeks ago. Ordered Onion rings and Philly steak. Sandwiches came our right away. We ate them and waited and waited finally the rings came out. We wanted them with our sandwiches not for desert! Tonight we go back for the same items. This time onion rings came out. Another table gets sat, they get their burgers. Our waiter is at the table across from us two old women are flirting with him. He undoes his bun on his head and pulls down this long ponytail. GROSS! He’s showing his cell phone pics of his 3yr old daughter than he OMG lays down on the carpet. Seriously?? We need drink refills and meanwhile, the restaurant is filling up and trays of food are being distributed throughout the restaurant and still no sandwiches to us. The waiter comes to the table and ask. “How is everything?” I say. “Why don’t you look around and tell me?” Honestly, who wants someone that has just rubbed his hand all down his ponytail and laid on the floor to bring you food? I asked the hostess, “I wanted to speak to the manager right away.” Minutes later the guy said he was getting the manager. I don’t know what is wrong with this restaurant and why can not get your order at the same time and why your glass is empty and you sit it on the edge of the table you can’t get a refill. One thing for sure Mac’s and Erma’s certainly is not like it was in the 70s and 80s!!

My brother and I visited Max and Erma’s on 11/26/19 at about 2:45. I was shown a drink menu, and actually wanted to know about the appetizers. My fingers became sticky, due to the drink menu being dirty. I asked a server if they had a hand wipe. He said no, and suggested I wash my hands. I asked our server, for an unsweetened ice tea, which I did not like, but drank, because she had not back to the table, for some time. She brought another tea, and I told her that I did not like it, so, she got an ice water. Our appetizers were good, but the server was not. I asked our server if she could remove the tea charge, and she said, You drank it. Which prompted me to ask to speak to the manager, and she said that he will not remove the charge, but she will get him anyway. The manager came to our table, and asked what we had to eat, and we said that the appetizers were good. I told the manager about the tea exchange with our server. He said he would remove the charge, and I thanked him. Then, the server began making gestures, dancing near our table. We were located right in front of the server/cooking area. We were in the process of leaving, and our server walked by, with the young man that took the dirty drink menu, walked toward the bar side laughing. I took our bill, and told our server, that she was rude, and condescending. She definitely, should not be working with the public. She in turn had more comments, and I asked someone to get the manager for me. He came to the bar area, and so did the server. While I was speaking to the manager, I saw our server, mimicking me, and called her out for this disrespectful act. She lied, and said that she had my change, and I had already told her she could keep the change, but that she did not deserve it, due to her actions.

my teenage daughter started working in maumee we had nothing but problem since the manager a older gentle man started telling her she didn’t need our permission to work there she is a minor we had to call the police and have our daughter removed from there he claimed she said she was abused yet I called the police and now she tells us he touch her inappropriately my daughter obviously is having a problem but this man has no right getting into family business much less around teenage girls and I will call police again after police removed our daughter he had the nerve to ask if she could still work there the police had to inform him that we are her parents and if we say she dont work there she doesn’t does max and erma screen their managers never never will anyone in my family come to max and ermas again so disgusted

In reference to the Gahana Store at 1317 Hamilton Road Gahanna, Ohio. The worst dining experience we had in a long time On 9/23/19 my wife, son and myself went to this store for dinner. Service was very very slow and poor, in addition, some of the food was terrible.
We sat for about 15 minutes before our food order was taken and did not receive out food after that for another 50 minutes. My Wife’s chicken was very tough and she could not eat it.
When we asked the waitress for ketchup, she never brought us any. We ended up searching empty table for ketchup and after 3 bottles we finally found one with ketchup in it. Also the waitress rarely checked on us meaning we did not get the drink refills that we wanted.
Listening to other customers we were not the only ones that had bad service and watching the other tables not the only table with slow service.

Were at tge mentor location for dinnner poor service unfriendly cell phones vissable waited 33 min fir soup salad we had a older lady dark hair glasses rude as all hell manager was dressed as if she was going to a car hopp very trashy. We will never return because of all of thy above.l stight up. Sucked

My son and I visited your Perrysburg Ohio location yesterday…..the appetizers were good, my burger was good but my sons burger was raw. He had the server take it back and was now grossed out so he didn’t want another one. It was taken off the bill. We got 2 banana cream pies to go. What a mistake. The crust was a very hard greasy cookie in a flat shape that was frosted by banana pudding with one banana slice. There was no contour to the cookie to form a pie shape and there was no filling. Seriously like a frosted cookie. I called and spoke to the manager Stephanie just now….she was not interested in listening to me because she said they just changed the recipe and the pies are awesome. She didn’t believe me. I told her she robbed us of $12. Trust me the money is not the issue. The issue is the poor quality of the food and the managers response. It was awful. Thank you. Michelle myers

I work at the cranberry PA area restaurant.
Yesterday was enough. I have been dealing with women Co workers belittling me since the training proceds. I went to management twice today to go to proper chain of command.
Unfortunately my words fell on deaf ears. They said that they’re frustrated because I am not helping them, not referencing them swearing at me especially on the server line. I have told each server if they needed ask me.
I was told by one Co worker that no-one likes me and can’t wait to see me fired. I then walked to my car only to hear my name.
So I eavesdropped on the same two ladies, Katie and Terri.
I confronted them. Asking, ” what did you say?”
She said no-one likes you here.
I again went to management and both managers defended the employees.
I noted to them when they hired me that they needed people like me because of the negativity within the establishment.
Long story short. Management did not reprimand them. They took the other route and berated me.
Tomorrow I am going in to talk to the GM. I have been verbally harassed and demeaned since stepping foot in there. I thought I could make a positive change but it is bringing me too far down. I have never had women talk to me the way these women have.
I try to remain positive and walk in the White light. But right now my anger is growing because the way they are neglecting the facts and not owning up to their employees habits,allowing their employees act like grade school bullies.
I will not tolerate that and something must be done. I deal with discrimination and immature comments due to lack of knowledge. Work is suppose to be a safe environment.

I am a server at the Miller Lane, Dayton Ohio location. My family, friends and I are all being harassed by other employees, and i lost my job because of it. They are making fake Facebook accounts, prank calling us, and egging our vehicles and houses. They specifically told me that are going to get me fired because the managers like them more so “they will always come out on top” I have contacted both my location and coorporate office through the max and ermas website, but yet to hear anything back. I find it to be utterly ridiculous that I have lost my job due to a couple of teenage drama queens. I can not express my frustration enough, and the fact that NO ONE in the company care is completely wrong

I’m a former employee if your Murray pa location and I’m a little upset it took me walking out on my job to contact you. This by far has been the worse job I have ever had. The management team you have at this location is so unprofessional. They feel because they have seniority over the regular employees they can speak to them any way they like. William gout is the worse when it comes to being g professional. He will yell at employees in the middle of a full restaurant with no reguards he has no regards to employees change in avaliablity. I requested a change iny avaliablity over 3 weeks ago due to the bus schedule and my fiances job with nothing being changed he hired another employee that can only work day shifts which I requested 3 maybe 4 weeks ago that I needed day shifts during the week. I’ve been talked to like I was meaningless employee by mangment when I have covered call offs stayed later then scheduled. There are a handful of employees that do not go through what the rest of us do on a daily basis because they are bill and Dave’s favorites and do nothing wrong. I was 15 mins today and understandable that that is not acceptable but I am not late like that unless its a evening shift and they know I cant get back until 515 530 since my availablilty does not matter to them. The way it was handled today about me being late was just the last straw of 4 months of nothing g but disrespect I’ve seen so many employees walk out of this job in the last 4months and its because of the non professional work environment the management makes. I just thought I would let corporate know why the McMurray pa store can not keep employees. If you want that to change then change the managment
