Chi-Chi’s Pizza was founded in 1958 in Panorama City, California, by Frank Paul “Judge” Miccolis. Miccolis grew up in Italian restaurants that his father owned in Indianapolis. He wanted to bring real Italian pizza to Southern California. The name comes from a nickname his father had.
The company acquired Lido Pizza in 1967. The company opened two more locations in Simi Valley and Saugus, California shortly after. In 2001, the company closed the aging Panorama City store and opened a new location in Canyon Country, California. Judge Miccolis passed away in 1992, however, the company is still owned and operated by his son.
Chi-Chi’s Pizza currently has 5 locations and also owns the Carson Peak Inn, located in June Lake, California.

My wife and I are senior citizens, we just moved into a house appx 1 mile from your saugus store.
We ordered two sandwiches to go, Sausage and Meat Ball both withiout onions and pepper. The girl on the phone asked me if we wanted mozzerella or provolone, we asked for the provolone.
When I went to pick up the sandwiches I questioned the combined price of over $28. Than I was told there was a $2 sur-charge for the cheese.
Not once was I told that cheese is extra. I have been buying these sandwiches for years both here and in New York where I grew up. I have never been served either type sandwich without “cheese” being part of the total product.
How cheap can you get to offer cheese as an option.

Tonight there was an error in what I ordered by phone and what my husband picked up from Simi Valley ChiChi’s. I called the restaurant to clarify with Tyler 1, who I placed the order with and was told he had already left. Then I asked to speak to a manager or someone in charge. During the whole time on this call, was never put on hold and listened to the noise going on in the restaurant. I finally hung up. Have been doing takeout with this place almost 20 years. Unfortunately, the service has gone down for last few months. Unless I hear from you, will never go there again. Thank you.

Hi,
We love Chi Chi’s in Saugus. When our “kids” who are now married and moved away come to visit we always plan 1 or 2 meals at Chi Chi’s. We also, each year, get a calendar with a $4 discount coupon.
I’m sooo upset I accidentally thew it out with some papers and we have almost an entire year we could use ii. Do you by any chance give out replacements?
FYI many years ago our son refinished the furniture in the Saugus “pizza parlor”.
We would really appreciate your consideration,
Thanks,
