Habit in Barranca Pkwy Irvine just lost our personal orders and my company’s frequent catering orders due to their VERY RUDE UNHELPFUL and SARCASTIC staff named JASMINE. This unprofessional supposed shift lead wasted my time and she took pleasure giving grief to the customer. She refused to correct a wrong order and told me to contact corporate instead. I sure will!

I love The Habit. Their Salads are freshly prepared and very tasty. Likewise, all of their food is prepared with care and appropriate food safety measures. The Habit is a Equal Opportunity Employer, they train their employees in proper food handling procedures, along with techniques unique to The Habit. Their employees provide the best customer service. So I have a difficult time reading complaints from customers who had a difficult day and need to lash out at someone. Why not relax, digest your food, and not have to digest your criticisms later. And this comes from a customer.

So I work for Doordash on side of my regular job. I had a delivery to the Restaurant in Midlothian, VA I ordered the food then looking to see that I didn’t see that I did not have to order afterwards. I let the young lady know in which she got her shift manager Kevin who was blatantly rude and yelling at me saying that and I quote “I’m losing him money and that Doordash knows not to go to the drive-thru. So I’m just going to say this is my first time going to Habit Burger and it will be my last just based off poor customer service from this restaurant.

I couldn’t find my debit card, so I tracked my locations for the day. I called the habit corporate office and they informed me that my Debit card was at the Inglewood CA. Habit and it was Immediately put in the safe. Good customer service from the corporate office and I love their Super Food Salad and have never had a problem with my food orders or the customer service. CJ

My daughter recently took me to hamburger habit. I was very excited to go seeing on how I’d never been before. Wen we got there(Lancaster, Ca on Ave J and 10th street West) I automatically knew something was going to go wrong, but for my daughter I didn’t say a word. We started to order the Mexican girl who took our order had a bad attitude,(like hurry up and order) now usually wen this happens I just leave. But I was with my daughter and that’s where she wanted to eat. So against my better judgement I ordered a hamburger sandwich, to my deepest fear they tried to feed me dog ? food. It took me a day 1/2 to notice it because wen I frist ordered the burger I didn’t eat it, I put it in the fridge and was going to eat it the next day for lunch. As I began to look at the meat after I had warmed it up I noticed it had a funny smell to it, it ?like dog food the kind one if the had a dog would bye in the can, it looks like caned meat but isn’t. It was dog food. The only thing I have is that I didn’t ✔ it sooner. But that’s okay because Mexicans never change their spots. And the next time I’ll be waiting for them to do it.I went to see a lawyer and he told me if I had of just taken one little testes I would have had a case. Like I said next time. That B needs to be fired!

My experience at Shoreline Habit. My wife and I came in, placed our order and paid. On the way to a table I noticed that my prosthetic needed adjusting. It is much easier to adjust with another person. I asked my wife and we went to the restroom. After 3 minutes a very loud pounding began on the door and would not stop even though i loudly kept saying “I would be right out” and “I would be out in a minute.” After a total of 6 minutes we came out to a male and a female employee waiting. Saying that people were waiting and the restroom was strictly for one person. First, there were exactly zero people waiting and second i had to embarrass myself in front of the entire restaurant by telling that I have a prosthetic that i needed help with. I then asked to speak to the manager but the two employees said they were the managers. I didn’t appreciate being treated like that so i asked to get a refund for what i bought but they refused. I then asked for their names so could complain but they refused that as well and threatened to call the police. I did not give my leg for this country in Iraq to be embarrassed and treated this horribly where I had just spent money. Something must be done!

Between my husband an myself, we probably frequent The Habit (Sacramento area) 5-6 times a week. I have recently been extremely disappointed at the change in your Tri Tip. It used to be absolutely delicious and after trying the new one 3 times, I will not be ordering it any more. It tastes bad, smells bad and the texture is bad. It is just downright awful! I am a salad eater and I do not eat chicken so I no longer have a meat topping option so I won’t be coming back unless things change. I’m certain that many people are disappointed with the new meat – Hopefully you will reconsider and go back to your previous tri-tip. Increase your prices if you need to but keep the quality!!!

Hello Habit: We used to go to the Habit in our neighborhood frequently, but since you’ve changed your chicken sandwiches, we are unable to eat at your establishment. It’s sad, what you’ve done to the chicken. Truly sad. It used to be a great sandwich. It’s now not at all. When I questioned the manager, he said that “Corporate changed the sandwich to a different bread and now a flat piece of chicken rather than a plump chicken breast”. It was like shoe leather and not on my usual wheat bun. He didn’t want to hear any more from me and walked away. He did not look happy to be working for Habit. Please go back to the original chicken breast you used to serve. It was sooooo much better! This is my second note to you. You have not responded to the first one, so I thought I’d try again. If you don’t respond this time, then I’ll stop recommending your restaurant to locals and tourists.

A group of us went to the Whittier location. As it happened two of us ordered the Santa Barbara char. Once the order was up, we noticed that one of the burgers was a double and one was a single. When I brought this to there attention, the insisted that they were identical. How can they be identical? The manager then went on to call me a lier and stupid! After wasting my time and money for an order that was incorrect we left. We will never go back to this Habit nor will we support the corporation by patroning any of there locations.

Second time for lunch at The Habit Burger Grill in Sand City, CA. First visit they got a grade of C-plus. Chicken sandwich was passable. The fries were limp and not hot. Second time they failed miserably! The chicken club sandwich was terrible. Did not order the fries after first experience. The portion of chicken appalling and nowhere near a 6-ounce breast. Paid nearly $11 for a piece of bread and drink. Discussed the situation with the counter person who looked like a manager. He did not seem to care about it. Perhaps The Habit should just focus on the burgers. May try eating at this place one more time. THREE STRIKES AND THEY ARE OUT. Next time, if it happens, Yelp and other websites will receive feedback. Hopefully this place gets it together. Until then…

I was in the Pico Rivera California location, and I experience a bad customer service. I was very upset my mother is diabetic and can only eat salads she is a senior and they serve her peer salad and no chicken. To top it off the customer service provided was horrible. The person helping me made me wait almost 20 minutes to take my order and the only I information I can give is that the receipt did not provide me with the name of the cashier. Which should be provided! Because they need to be reported! They need more training in customer service before they give attitude to everyone. And not speaking about the manager who I hate coming across she does not give you enough ranch is just like if the ranch was bought by her!!!! I would not return again!

Today, November 26, 2018 @ about 6:20 PM, I went in to your restaurant in Torrance, CA. The female counter employee apparently did not know her job. I ordered two charbroiled burger combos to go that are suppose to come with fries and a drink. At first, she did not put in the order correctly. I never received the fries with the burgers. Then, when I mentioned it to her she was going to place another order for the fries and charge me extra. I pointed out to her on the menu it says that fries and a drink come with it that I am not paying extra for it. Then when the people preparing the food gave her two containers of the fries, she only put one in the Habit bag that she gave me. She is totally incompetent and I told her so. The manager on duty was standing nearby and heard what was going on and did not lift a finger nor come to the counter to try and resolve the issue what so ever. As I walked out the door, he yells at me have a good evening sir. I told him that does not solve the problem and I felt his remark just added insult to injury. Personally, I have been to the Torrance location many times and I have never received such lousy service until today.

It seems like when I go thru the drive thru at the habit on Calif ave Bakersfield, CA & order my char burgers or cheese burgers I never get any onions on them. But when I order from inside , I will get onions. I’ll ask for no mayo & to add mustard but I never say a word about onions. So why am I not getting the onions?? To me this seems like their way of saving on their costs? Cause when you get home , that’s when you notice there isn’t everything on them. I ordered 2 cheese burgers today. Both of them had NO ONIONS!! This is not the first time this has happened to me.

I visited your Habit location at University Center in Irvine, CA for lunch today (9-7-18). I ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad. It was very good until I came across a inch-size piece of metal (??????). When I took it back the Manager told me that it’s part of a mechanism used for the onions, he apologized and offered me my money back or anything on the menu, free of charge. I was pretty hungry so I ordered a chicken sandwich combo meal. Don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon.

    Alameda Landing Shopping Center, Alameda–3
July 7, 2018 at approximately 9:05 pm… I saw the employee with no gloves on open the refrigerator door, take out the bag of green beans reach in with his hand twice to weigh them into the serving container…he then proceeded to open the refrigerator again with no gloves on and place the bag of green beans back into the refrigerator. The employee then grab the handles of the fryer….I informed the employee at the register on what I observed and asked why is the cook touching food without gloves on he stated it is ok it is their rule. The manager comes over (which is fine) and begins to interrupt me as I was speaking and I asked him to please listen to what I am saying. I stated to him it may be your rule that employees are permitted to touch food without gloves on but it certainly is not a rule of the foo industry..further more i see several employees cooking and touching the fryer handles with gloves on so, why is it ok that this gentlemen does not have to wear gloves….The manager stated we can re-cook them with gloves on if you like….I said you are missing the whole point. It is against any food serving facility to touch food with their bare hands….I asked for a refund and left……I cannot believe that a Manager would state it is their rule that it is ok to touch food with their bare hands.

I’m telling the Cashier 4 times 2 Number #2, no cheese. no salt on the fries. She took my order as 2 number #1, my daughter was asking her about a chicken club asking. only . she goes to ring it up. I”m like what is 23. dollars if iam only ordering 2 number 2’s oh. I put her sandwich on (she laughs) whatever. so I said I wanted 2 number 2 she couldnt understand. I said just get the manager than she goes to continue in Spanish in front of me, and I said wow. I think i’ll get you fired cause you are treated me like XXXXX,and not talking English to a paying customer, She continues to say go ahead in a very rude attitude. and to top it off the manager didnt tell her nothing. but to go bag orders for customers, than I said wow. she didnt wash her hands. and then the manager said wash your hands. All said and done my order was finally correct. but this stuff is making me as a 1st time Paying Customer to Never come back. The girl manager with the tattoos was very rude to my wife and was making ugly faces to my children. Besides that’s she had a very strong smell of alcohol in her breath. I would of thought a manager in this location would of been way better but no I was wrong. They should really talk to her because she really smelled like alcohol and she wasn’t focused on her job or customers bad Customer service. And to top it all of she messed up all of our order. We ended up leaving and going to In n out burgers right down the street form their locations. They should really talk to her and tell her to treat her customers right.

How convenient. My complaint was that we ordered 2 double patty burgers but each received a half of a double patty and a half of a single patty. But they didnt forget to charge us for a full double patty burger! I would have gone in to complain but we had already waited to long for our good and could not wait longer for them to fix it. After 30 minutes they told me they were still working on it. After 45 minutes they realized that had not begun to make my sandwich so they refunded me.
