I am very displeased with Acer. I bought my Acer Aspire back in 2020 for my business. My warranty was only for a year. When my computer broke, I had to pay nearly $500 for the repair because it was out of warranty. No problem. Spent it. I sent my computer in for repairs in December of 2022. Which sat for weeks due to the holidays. When it was finally sent back, it was claimed testes and fixed. That was a lie. We are now in February and I’m now having to send it back for the 4th time due to the technician not properly checking to make sure the computer will even turn on. I am livid at this situation! This is my time. I have lost business due to the lack of care from Acer. When I call into the customer “care” department, I’m only told what they can’t do, and offered to just send it back in again. Hoping that the 4th time will be the final time. No! This is unacceptable. What will Acer do to rectify my time and the loss of my clients!?? As well as what I paid for, my computer to be fixed.

I bought my Acer Aspire E-15 in September 2017 from a reseller in Limoges, France, where I live now. For the past several months I had been blaming myself for typing too fast and having sticky keys – until they failed completely! I did a web search for the problem and discovered this was an Acer keyboard problem, affecting different models. Luckily I had brought an unused, still in box, Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse with me from the USA. Plugged it in and it types perfectly – it was not my fault all along! I only have one laptop, I am a freelance writer and work from home and do not have the time to send it away for a factory reset as I will have nothing to work with. I am now planning to buy another laptop when I can afford it, but it will NOT be another Acer.

This is the 2nd time i have ;purchased an Acer PC….whereas the first computer was all i could hope for and more….there is an UGLY truth to your product. It FAILS SIGNIFICANTLY!! My first Acer within 6 months the keyboard started to fail….within a short amount of time the complete upper left side was NON-FUNCTIONAL, but i continued to work with it and as time marched on i HAD to prematurely bury it…..Then in January of this year (2018) I paid a rather high price for a second PC & it TOTALLY failed by overheating thus removing any options for WIFI….It completely disappeared within the computer!! Now i have only had this new computer 6-8 weeks….i had NOT damaged this computer (ie dropped it or maligned it in any way shape or form)….I would use my computer on social media (facebook) and to do my monthly bills….it DID NOT warn me in any manner that it had an overheating problem….it would just SHUT DOWN! It wasnt until i placed it on my lap did i discover what kind of problem this ACER had! Now we get to step 2 of what an unprofessional mannerisms of what one has to go through to get this computer LOOKED at- CUSTOMER SERVICE-that says more frustration and hair pulling than i have EVER encountered in my professional LIFE! I, too excelled in Customer Service as a Customer Engineer for a corporation that made High speed encoding and embossing equipment- CREDIT CARD MANUFACTURING….Believe me- there is nothing made today that has to have the QUALITY and 100% no errors, as there are when you are working with LIVE customer data and their financial future!! So I DO KNOW how to speak to concerned clients and to quickly ensure a perfect product….whereas your Customer Service personal is extremely POLITE….they lack the knowledge of your product….they seem to read from a formal script and CAN NOT think on their own. This is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!! And it takes a GREAT deal of time to get your point across, because they are troubleshooting some problem YOU HAVE NOT TOLD THEM ABOUT! I’m sorry, but i lost every ounce of patience with your “wacka-wacka’ customer service! If this WASNT bad enough, the phone call ‘dropped’ about 1/2 thru the conversation….you would START all over again with an entirely NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT!! You could not speak with the one YOU HAD BEEN speaking to….so the dumb questions would begin ALL OVER AGAIN…I believe a Priest would have GREAT difficulty keeping his composer NOT to speak of a customer that has found their $500 investment just bit the dust! Please…please re-inact a troubled customer and go thru this enlightening procedure- I guarantee that YOU WILL NEVER WISH TO ENDURE such pain and agonzing encounter EVER again!! Plus it would help IF ONE of your representative could speak English….just 25% clear-pronounced ENGLISH….it is like telling your mechanic what is wrong with your vehicle and he can ONLY understand Swahili and YOU KNOW your vehicle is NOT going to come back to you 100% CORRECTLY repaired!!…..so i MUST ask you….What have we done to deserve this kind of treatment????? Buy your product???
I DO apologize if i have come across too harshly….but this is such a sad disappointment…not once, but TWICE!

I have sent my Acer laptop back 4 times, just received it back and the problem remains the same. We have been unable to use the computer due to the issues, what do I need to do to get a new one since the issue can’t be fixed (apparently)?????
