I walk by one of your stores in downtown Saratoga everyday. They do a lot of sales and have friendly employees. Nice to see what is new in the window. I really liked the bags made from sail boat cloth. Enjoy Spring and Happy Easter.

I recently went into one of your stores inquiring about a position that was posted on Indeed. As I entered the store I asked the first sales person I saw for the manager. She asked for my name and proceeded to the backroom. As I walked around the store I noticed two women by the cash wrap to which one of them approached me after a few minutes of me admiring the show cases. She walked up to me shook my hand and I asked are you the manager? She smiled and said how can I help you? I said I saw that an assistant manager and sales associate position was open and she said well there isn’t an assistant manager it’s only the manager and sales associate. Right now we only have seasonal and sales associate position and we just hired. She then referred me to another location to which I would be open to. As I walked to the store some more a man walked up to me and said hello I’m the store manager and my face dropped to the floor. I told him about the indeed positions I saw online and he immediately asked for my resume. I’m still confused as to what’s going on, so I asked about the assistant manager position because those are the two positions posted but she said we don’t have an assistant mgr. position at all and he looked at her and smiled and said well the assistant will be leaving in a few months and once again I’m looking at this woman in total shock. I don’t know what her reasons were for posing as the manager and then blatantly lying straight to my face about the position but I was very very displeased with her. I had all these thoughts running through my head like what if I had walked out when I she said what she had to say. I wouldn’t of been able to talk to the manager much less give him my resume. I also thought to myself how many people inquiring about the job has she done this to. I actually wanted to ask for my resume because I didn’t want to indulge in anymore conversation with him or her actually because something just didn’t feel right AND even though that happened, I didn’t make the situation anymore awkward than it was by letting the real manager know everything she just lied about. With that being said it would of been nice but I truly have a bad taste in my mouth now.
