After I filed a 2nd claim because my 1st claim vanished, there was a time span where I couldn’t reach anyone. When I did reach them, they put my claim on standby until we could get a better view of the damages. Tried to contact them to activate my claim, couldn’t get anyone. In the end, they denied my claim because I waited too long to file and mold was present. I did not wait to file, they put it on standby and so much time passed and mold had the opportunity to grow. Hurricane Ida was like all hurricanes….wind and RAIN. I’m about to look into how many customers they do this to on a regular basis. In my own personal OPINION, if any insurance company does business like that, that would make them sneaky low life pieces of s**t!!

In January of this year we received our premium billing which has gone up each time from when we purchased this insurance several years ago. It got to the point where it was unsustainable and we had to go elsewhere for coverage. I called my insurance agent but she was out of the office and the young man I spoke to said he could help me. I informed him that we were cancelling our policies, he ask if I wanted him to check to see if he could help me but when I told him the problem about the rates, he couldn’t help me but said he was sorry and that he would take care of the cancellation. I also sent my agent Kristin McCord, in Bel Air, Md. two emails informing her of the cancellation. I never got a response from her. Now this is the middle of February and she calls to tell me they never received payment for our policies. I told her the ins had been cancelled and gave her the gist of my conversation with their employee. Then she informs me that their employee would have never told me that he would handle the cancellation because it is their policy that all cancellations have to be in writing and they know that. In retrospect she was calling me a liar. She was very rude, I never was treated this way with previous ins companies. I actually saved over 900 dollars by going to another agency and with the same coverage I had with AllState. She was very personable when we went to her for our insurance and even told us how to go about cancelling our other insurance and it did not include writing a letter. I would never deal with her again. I ended up hanging up on her.

We will be cancelling three policies this month with Allstate, Agent Kelly Freschi. We have never been shown siuch rudeness in our 78 years. We have had the repairs done and paid for them ourselves since Allstate would not. If anyone at Allstate would like to hear our nightmare story please contact us. Hi Kelly my name is Kim. I have bad experiences also with Allstate. Recently we were denied for damages done to leaking water from our upstairs shower and damages done to the outside due to hurricdin matthew on the east coast. We were denied because of “pre existing conditions”. We have paid tens of thousands into our premiums over 30 years with Allstate. Never have missed a payment. They gladly take our money but never provide assistance when we need it. Agent that showed up had additude and showed no concern for our problems. I too have nothing good to say about Allstate and am also looking for better coverage. Sorry for your troubles. They just don’t care ☹️

I called all state to get someone to look at my roof and every time they asked me if I was sure because having a claim is not good. Then I called my agent and he said the same. I was so frustrated so I checked with all my neighbors and they all had replaced their roofs and none had experienced this with their insurance companies. I also found out none of them had all state and had nothing good to say. Then I called again and the adjuster came but now all state will not pay for my roof because they want me to pay two deductibles one for my roof and then storm damage. My neighbors are so mad and one works for a TV station and is ready to blow a gasgate and expose what he calls absolute fraud. I have called my agent and left 3 messages but no response. I bought a extended warranty from Square Trade (an ALLSTATE Co.) for a Samsun TV. The TV was messed up. Long story short,after trying for 4 hours to get a person with either Samsun or SquareTrade to back up their products(TV & insurance).I spoke to a manager & he said he would send an email. I never received an email. I talked to an agent of Allstate & was told to contact Corp. Office. After reading comments & seeing your rating I know this would be fruitless, & would send my blood pressure up again. As a owner of 3 businesses, Allstate WILL NEVER HAVE OUR INS.. A good company backs up it’s product.

I am very disappointed in ALLSTATE for the way they handled my Mothers claim; Not only was the claim adjuster/manager VERY abusive and rude to my Mom, but she was trying to put words in her mouth, trying to get her to say she was partially liable for a accident that the gentlemen that hit her said in the police report that it was his fault because he chose to hit my Moms car instead of a large truck.
My Mom couldn’t do anything to prevent this accident, but the woman said because she didn’t honk her horn at the oncoming car she is 10% liable!!!!
My Mom being a 79 year old woman that previously has lost not only her sister but a daughter and Mom recently does not need this extra stress/harassment, or told if she doesn’t get a rental car and for example gets a bike to get around they would pay for the full amount!!!! I have a niece that has MS that relies on my Mom to get to therapy and also a sister that is in a wheel chair that also needs to get around!!!!
Why do we keep paying for insurance when innocent people like my Mom get harassed for being a victim of an accident that wasn’t her fault????

I’ve had Allstate for my homes, auto, universal life ins, plus more for approx 40 yrs. Thankfully I’ve not had to use it often. When I have had claims, in the last about 15 yrs, it has been a nightmare. Working with them as to pay a claim is not easy. The first time I used my ins on one of my rentals, the dishwasher flooded the kitchen. They paid out approx 750.00 after deductible, then raised my home owners ins over 300.00/yr. They said if I sent back the 750.00, they would not raise my premium. So I did because over the long haul I’d be saving money, by not using my ins. What’s ins for, if not to help with claims. Especially when you look at $’s paid to Allstate for so many yrs.
I then was having some work done on my house. I had just had 2 transplants within the previous 3 yrs. it has now been over 3 yrs I’ve had to fight for my loses. I’ve still not received one penny from Allstate. Most of the things taken were of such a value at this age I’d never have the money to replace my losses. I had purchased it received as gifts since the days I was born… I’ve wasted the many thousands of dollars I paid for an unexpected loss for my protection. My agents I’ve contacted many times about my home robbery to no avail. I’ve turned in paperwork & details over & over. I have no one from Allstate working with me. This has been very drafting for me. I’ve been very depressed & try to recover from my health issues. I dont know where to go to get help. I can’t keep going no ware with Allstate. I still cry when I have to talk about it. All my “real” jewelry, electronics, & tools, holiday dishes & silver ware, & more was stolen from me. It’s hard enough with all the paranoid feelings & such feeling of a big loss for a person who has worked her entire life to have the things she had was not easy. But I was being the responsible person for my life…. I’d like to speak someone at corporate to explain my losses verses payout. I’ve had other issues with them in my whole life policy.

This month my car payment was declined because Allstate took 1005. For my insurance payment Thisbe month instead of the 241$ I have been paying for 3 years. Apparently they gain information from motor vehicles and add people to your policy without authorization. It has now been 7 days since my agent has been working on a refund. Meanwhile my phone bill and credit card payment are due.
I am the primary policy holder and Allstate won’t allow my husband to make changes, but feel it is in the best interest of the customer to apply 762$ extra to their bill for someone covered on their own policy. I do not recommend Allstate this is a shady money ploy.

just bought another house. had insurance transferred over. insurance inspector looked at house and saying needs a new roof. (I disagree to the severity of the condition of the roof.)

I just bought a new 2018 Honda Fit the day after Thanksgiving 2017.
I was told by my agent (along with my 2004 Toyota Corolla) that my rates would be $125 a month.
My six month policy ends in latter June.
The other day, I opened my mail and found (to my dismay) that Allstate is allowing my payments to go up about $10 a month ($60 during the six month period.
I was told it is because of ever increasing rates.
Why me? How can I believe anything they say after this raise in less than six months?
An almost 25 year loyal customer of Allstate….No major events and they pull this.
I think someone needs to think twice about it.
It’s not a nice thing to pull on a long time customer.

Allstate sued someone in my state with a different name 1st they sent me letters with Allstate vs some random name and my wife’s 1st name and different last name also the people live 2hrs south of us. So I sent the mail back to sender with wrong address. So we get a the circuit letter with are address and sheriff’s department starts coming to are new house with are neighbors out very embarrassing I call the lawyer who is handling this case for Allstate and get no return call I call Allstate corporation and sit on hold for 30 mins and then there system just hangs up. I call Allstate regularl number and they had no ideal how to get ahold of their legal department and just said they try to put in a corporate complaint and someone should call us

on 4/6/18 at 10:00AM I received a called from our All State Agent Virginia Ottenberg regarding responding to a text we sent to her regarding damages to our roof from recent storms and winds. She immediately started attacking me verbally, raising her voice being rude and refusing even to listen as I explained to her the new damages. She was very unprofessional and nasty, one the nastiest attitudes from any insurance agent I have ever dealt with. She started talking loud be critical and insulting of the previous roofing company who put our roof on. She stated that my father-in-law (DEC’D-Willie I Hall-over 30 years customer) hired a cheap company to do the work. She definitely don’t know what she is talking about nor should she make statements that she has no record of the company or work done.

I have attempted to settle a total loss claim for my son after he was involved in an accident with one of your insured. My son is a medically retired Navy veteran and he has been with out his vehicle for over 2 months now. The adjuster Jason Capocy 727-556-2014 has been very unprofessional, rude and even threatening. He refuses to offer a fair settlement and refuses to even reimburse my son for his actual rental expenses incurred. I have attempted to reach his supervisor only to be handed right back to Jason. This man gets a thrill by causing hardship for others. I finally drove my personal truck over 1000 miles to loan it to my son so he could have transportation to is medical appointments and college classes. I am asking that someone at your company do the right thing.

I have insurance with Allstate. I had an accident with my car on August 21. I had someone from Allstate come out and take pictures and submit them. I was quoted damages of $560.00. This was a rediculous, lowball estimate of my damages. I took my car into a body shop on Monday August 25. They were having difficulty submitting their estimate. They sent different statements into Allstate with their estimate. Evidently your system must be difficult to understand as when I called today Allstate stated they never rec eived the estimate. After numerous calls to Allstate supposedly the correct estimate was emailed in. The body shop cannot start to fix the car until someone from Allstate comes out to see the damages. I have waited 3 1/2 days for this to happen. In the mean time, I am paying for a rental car. I need my car for Labor Day weeken so it has to start being repaired today. The body shop is still waiting for a representative from your company. This is rediculous. The paperwork should be simple, the estimate should be realistic and the rep should have been to the bodyshop and this all taken care of. Instead, I am constantly on the phone with someone trying to get this fixed. I am very unhappy with Allstate and don’t feel I am in Good Hands. I obtained car and homeowners insurance from Dunn Agency in flint Michigan. The agent Derrick wrote my policy he was told 200 deductible on my car he wrote it for 250. He was told I wanted car rental didn’t put it on my policy. Home deductable was to be 1000, Derrick wrote it for 1500. Seven people in Allstate told me there is no policy written with this deductable. Nothing done to correct the deliberate written policy. I have had a disaster 7/7/17 Dunn Agency has never contacted me. Move to a new agency the woman I connected with yelled at me because I file a complaint against the Dunn Agency. A check was written but the roof repair was written in the estimate. Called I was told the check was all I was going to receive. I requested a reissue of the check due to it being lost. I have been unable to get a new check to pay my electrician. Allstate has to be the worst insurance company I have ever worked with for repairs.

The Klepinger-Baker agency did not pay their last three employees properly everyone quit right before their trip to Hawaii , and corporate allowed them to close the doors while they went to Hawaii. Crazy how they cannot pay their employees, but allowed to go to Hawaii. Earned trip or not… They should have not been allowed to go!! I recently brought a new car in March 2017 I had my Allstate Insurance transfer to my new car when I got my car at Randy Marion Buick GMC. The next day I talk to my Allstate Agent (Poteat) in was told that my insurance would go to $135.00 a month, but when I received my bill it was more that. I went in to talk to my agent and was told that I have to pay more for my car. They had already taken a car payment in April for the old car that I didn’t have I cancelled my policy with Allstate on the 8th of May before my insurance was due because I found another company that is reasonable in they didn’t like that. Now Allstate is trying to get more money from me because I cancelled my policy on my car. Now they are trying to mess with my credit for a payment that is not due to them

This company offers terrible customer service. My husband and I were with Allstate for 10 years up until today. The following year after we had a home owner’s claim our insurance premiums almost doubled. We met with our agent, Doug Little, who gave us little answers and little advice. We did submit a complaint to our agent, who was suppose to send it to corporate (who knows for sure if he did). This complaint was requesting a premium reduction since Allstate was fully reimbursed by our builder’s insurance company for the damage to our home. However, not one person from corporate ever contacted me or my husband regarding this complaint. The Allstate agent, Doug Little not one time followed up with me or my husband. I have changed insurance companies and have no regrets. I do not want to continue to give my money to a company that provides such poor customer service.

They interrogated me and made me feel worse then the burglary itself! The investigators are classless and and mean, unprofessional a-holes! Don’t work with this company, or you will regret it! By far the worst experience of my life. I used to be a Allstate holder in Hawaii and recently just got out of the service and relocated to Texas. When I arrived to Texas and purchased a vehicle they had me on the phone at the dealership for 2 1/2 hours after my vehicle was purchased. My other vehicle was in transit from Hawaii. Cathy Young was the first lady who helped me and my experience was the worst. In order for them to insure myself and my wife they opened up 2 policy in both states charged me outrageous month premiums on both. 1700 for 6 month perfect driving record. My Hawaii experience for the years I have been a member hasn’t been any better They continued to upload the wrong information didn’t even have my wife license number in the system. When I called up to cancel my policy they refused until I told them who my new provider was. Between Allstate agent Ricky Bonilla ( Hawaii ) and My Texas Policy that I had less than 3 day I am still yet to receive my refund after cancellation as of April 28th 2017. Allstate had no problem running additional auto-payments while in a cancellation status. It been over 2 weeks now spoke to over 10 Employees and still received no help from anyone and still several hundred dollars in the hole. Allstate is by far the worst experience I have ever had and by no means I will ever recommend or ever go back to them for my coverage. Hopefully Allstate will do right refund the money that is owed and cancel my 2 day service and do the right thing.

I’ve spoken with (4) people trying to get an estimate on my auto damaged by an allstate policy holder.
Alejandro Huerta, Margie Blue, Lorie Santh, and Marcy Ross. (2) of the (4) outright lied. The other (2) read me the same response. I’ve asked to speak to Lorie Santh’s supervisor and she said that she reported to CEO and would not put me in touch with them, If this company utilizes her as a problem solver I’m in trouble and most likely will have to hire a lawyer something I detest. Sure wish someone that could make a decision had the nerve to speak with me.

I’ve had Allstate Homeowners Insurance for about seven or eight years now. Lightning struck my phone lines and ran across the floor and hit our Heating/AC Unit and destroyed the unit. I didn’t know how to file a claim nor did I know who to call so I went to Sears here in our hometown and they recommended a contractor that would check the system out, Determine the cause of it not working and estimate the repair or replacement. I contacted my agent and they said to go ahead in that direction. The Contractor came out and checked our claim and determined it was damage due to a lightning strike and did a estimate and Allstate said to fax it to them. After they got the fax they decided they needed pictures so I took it upon myself and just started taking pictures which ended up being the wrong ones and had to get the Contractor to retake them and be the ones that were actually needed. After these pictures were sent to them instead of the Allstate expert making the decision on it, He passed it off to one of their technicians to make the decision on it. He said it wasn’t a lightning strike and said I must have paid the contractor to say otherwise. Yet I had never knew the Contractor before this and he was recommended to us by Sears. The Contractor said that any Knucklehead in the AC/Heating Business could see it was a lightning strike by looking at the Compositors. Then Allstate said there wasn’t a lightning strike in my area around the time I said it happened but, In the meantime they never sent anyone from their office 5 miles away to check it out themselves and still haven’t. Since then our water lines have froze and bursted and that took every penny we had to get fixed. Here iam with acute pancreatitis and have had 39 Pancreatic Attacks, 9 Seizures and 1 Bursted Anyarison just eight months ago on the anyarison and I just didn’t need all of this stress from the get go. Been paying our Homeowners Insurance just like Clockwork every month and never missed a bill, Something happens and now they don’t want to take care of us after they found out I only get $861.00 per month for my Disability Check knowing a lawyer will probably not help us. A honest person cannot or should not be treated this way, The way being treated by Allstate. I’ve called their office in Ashland VA just to have someone to talk to when Id get to feeling down about my health and talk to one of them for alittle bit, Just to have someone to talk to. They know everything there is to know about me in their office and I just could not believe they have treated me this way. In the meantime, I still don’t have any heat in our home and won’t ever be able to get it fixed on my own because of not making that kind of money any more. That was the purpose of the Insurance I was paying for and now that has just turned into a wasted thousands of dollars over the years. I guested them with my life as a customer and a friend. That turned into the worst mistake of my entire life.

I cancelled my policy in Nashua NH after moving to Reno Nv and purchasing a new lease here. They never sent me an email or called to let me know my auto withdrawals would be cancelled and sent a final payment notice to my old address in MA. Then on August 3rd I received a letter from a Collection Service in MA saying I hadn’t paid my final bill, which I never got nor was advised would be forthcoming. So I was able to pay over the phone, but why would you treat a customer of over 2 years like this??? Never call and say what would happen did I want to make final payment over the phone and when they knew I had moved still mailed to my old address. Just the worst service ever and very very unprofesssional.

I cancelled my homeowner’s insurance with Allstate on December 10, 2015 effective Dec 14, 2015. My new agent sent them the paperwork by fax and received a notice saying the agent’s office confirmed receipt. Fast forward six months and I received a notice for renewal from Allstate even though I bought a new policy in December with Travelers. So I called the Allstate agent’s office to see what was up and was told that they never received cancellation. I called my new agent’s office and luckily they still had evidence of the fax transmission. New agent called the Allstate office and was told they did, in fact, have the paperwork and would get me a check in 7-10 business days for the 6 months (about $650) and an additional 1 month refund since it was now June 24. I received a check from Allstate about a week later for $91.
On July 8, I called the Allstate agent and talked with Chandra. I had to start all over and explain the situation. Apparently Kenneth had not sent in the information showing that they were responsible for not turning in my cancellation in Dec, and Allstate thought they only owed me for one month. Chandra was very nice and professional and said she would take care of it and get my refund. It would take 7-10 business days.
Last Friday, after my mail came on July 22, 7 months and 2 weeks after my policy with Allstate should have been terminated, and I STILL hadn’t received my refund check, I again called Chandra. This time she acted as if she hadn’t heard my story, she told me Kenneth had been handling my account and point blank told me she’d never talked to me.
So. Again I told her the entire story after being put on hold for 12 minutes. She said she could only send me a month refund and that Allstate had already sent that. Eventually she seemed to understand I was talking about the six month refund I was due. (My mortgage company pays them once a year. When I didn’t get a refund back in December I assumed they’d sent it back to the mortgage company.)
Chandra told me she was sending an email to her “escalation team” to try to take care of my problem and she asked them to call me. Supposedly.
Today is Monday, July 25. No one has called me. In fact, the owner of the company that sold me my new Travelers policy called Chandra today himself. I was told she hung up on him.
I tried to call the corporate office myself. The switchboard connected me with the executive phone number, but after being put on hold a recording eventually told me that they could not answer my phone call and to leave my name and phone number.

A Allstate client hit me July 2 I missed my family fourth vacation then put car in shop Tues the fifth was suppose to get car back Friday 8th car wasn’t ready shop said couldn’t reach adjuster for me to keep rental enterprise said had to OK with Allstate I also couldn’t reach so I pushed o talked to a guy explained situation that I needed transportation do to child with asthma he talked to supervisor said she wouldn’t extend cause shop didn’t call had turn in rental I said shop called adjuster couldn’t reach he was rude said shop shoulda pushed o like you he talked to supervisor she wouldnt take either I was told if kept rental I had to pay I didn’t have so been with out transportation all weekend and my child has to miss her summer camp trip leaves Monday cause no car I was not at fault for accident thank it’s unfair I was hit and haveing to miss out on things and my child because wouldn’t extend rental was talked to rudely and stuck my child’s haveing breathing problems praying gets better cause no way to get to er unless by ambulance I had just lost six yr old to cancer have anxiety attacks which was explained and still wouldn’t extend and when car is ready hopefully Monday no way to get there to get it i think this was wrong ride and so unfair I was hit I was the victim and left stuck with no means of transportation

FIRST LONE STAR AGENY in SPRING TX TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS WORST THAN STREET DOGS. I went to cancel my policy due to misunderstandings and due to I didn’t like the attitude of my agent over the phone and to my surprise I was insulted, yelled at as if I worth nothing. I was treated in a despicable attitude and kicked out of the office like a criminal. I asked why the “manager” was raising her voice at me, why was she yelling at me and she just kept being RUDE, TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL, DESPICABLE AND TOLD ME I WAS A FOOL. On the top of it I WAS WEARING AN ARMY UNIFORM and she despised me for my service and insulted me. The manager said: Is this the way you defend our country by going around insulting people and being rude? All while I was just sitting and asking from my agent to cancel the policy. She yelled at me: You know what, it is not going to be cancelled until I say so!!. The lady kicked me out of the office and was so rude that I stepped out because as I stated there, I didn’t go there to be insulted, disrespected and mistreated, just wanted to cancel my policy which now I believe it was a wise decision because US CUSTOMERS DO NOT DESERVE SUCH A DISRESPECTFUL, INSULTING, RUDE AND DESPICABLE TREATMENT. Allstate is the worst insurance agency that I ever have. All the agents are so nice when i purchased the insurance. However, when i tried to cancel my policy, everything changed. i called the 1800 number a day after my new policy was activated on March 8, 2016 and tried to talk to the agent there, but i was told that i needed to call my local agent for cancelling my policy. So i called my agent Nicholas Arcella on that day and also sent him all the doXXXXents that was required for cancellation. However, nothing was done. two months later, i received bill from allstate telling me that i still owed them money. So i tried to call my agent again on May 17, 2016. I was told that my agent was not in the office on that day, so the agent i talked to ask me to email another copy of my new policy which i did on that day and i also called in after i emailed it just to confirm that they did received my email and i was told that the problem would be taken care of. about two weeks later, i received a collection letter from allstate again which indicating that i still owed them the money. for the third time, i called to my agent’s office. The lady answered my phone told me that my agent was not in the office that day. So i asked to speak to the supervisor, hoping to get my problem settled. However, i was told that supervisor was not in the office either. So i tried to work with the lady over the phone and tried to get my problem settle with her. She was nasty from the beginning with already. Without even checking their records, she already started accusing me not to have my agent sending them the new policy. when i tried to tell her that i personally email all the doXXXXents to their company twice, she started telling me that they did not have it in their record. so i told her that i personally called in last time when i emailed their office the doXXXXents and i was told that they already received it. Was not able to find the other excuses, she started to ask me about which email address i sent my doXXXXents to. so i gave her both of the email addresses that i had sent my doXXXXents into. and she still told me that they did not have it in records and she asked me to send them the doXXXXents again. I did not understand why they were not able to find my record after i emailed them twice already, so i denied her request. She became real nasty. so i requested to have her name and she just hung up my phone. i have never see such a horrible customer service in my life and i was speechless already at that point. so i tried to call back hoping to have some other agent answer my phone, so i could get her name. luky me, the same lady answered my phone. without yelling at her, i asked politely about the supervisor’s name. She told me a name, but that was not the supervisor, that was my agent’s name. then i asked politely about her name again. she told me that she would not give me her name because i would try to get her in trouble. hehe….this is the funniest thing i ever heard in my life and i really got no words to discribe my feeling when i heard that. After that, i had to call 1800 number again and tried to make my complaint, but they were not so helpful either. without any other choices, i had to find out the headquarters’s phone number and tried to contact them. i had to call the number for six times before someone finally answered the phone. the lady from the executive office took all my information and told me she would check into that and find out what had happened. four days later, i got a call back and she told me that she has been following up with this case, but nothing she could do on her part and she still had to wait for my local agent to process it. She told me she would give me a call back when there is updated. so as right now, nothing was settled. Oh, i finally find out the nasty lady’s name from the headquarter. her name is ERICA and she worked in Hempstead, NY.

I have been with allstate for three years with my 1999 GMC suburban. I had an accident where I was ran off of the road. Now, this video was recorded and when the claim agent saw it, they wasted no time to file a claim. Then the trouble starts. I have not had one problem with my transmission since I had my vehicle. I am the second owner. The field inspector stated that he didn’t see how the accident caused my transmission to mess up but the first thing the claims adjuster said when he saw the video was ” this might have to be totalled because of the age of the vehicle.” This accident was in May 2016…one day after I got the inspection done so that I could get my stickers. If something was wrong with my vehicle then I would not have passed inspection. I had another accident on August 08,2016. Two vehicles cut in front of me when they made an illegal left u turn. I had to swerve into the left lane to try and avoid the accident but I couldn’t. The blue vehicle came back over on me hitting my side view mirror and scratch my passenger side door which causes me to run into the median. The other vehicle fled the scene so when I tried to drive my vehicle home it just shut off on me. All of this is also on video. Once again my allstate agents in the claims department paid for everything except fixing my transmission or whatever is wrong with my vehicle to make it not run. They are once again saying “even though we see that your vehicle is running before the accident, we don’t see how the accident caused the transmission to mess up. “…..ARE YOU F-ING SERIOUS….. I am disabled, I have been using my vehicle to take my kids back and forth to school. I have been forced to walk to the bus stop, very on the buses with my kids and then walk them to school. Then I have to walk back to the bus stop to take the bus close to home just to walk back home and go to sleep because I am on meds. Then when I wake up I have to do it all over again. This have been for over a month and counting…DID I MENTION THAT I AM DISABLED AND I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO BE WALKING THAT MUCH……. Allstate insurance company have put my family in this situation and to this date, October 03 2016 they are still refusing to fix my v which I have lossed by now because laura Springsteen said that she would tow it to the transmission shop and OK for them to diagnose transmission to see if the accident could of caused it to mess up. But when her boss Jeff Billings told them not to do it then she lied and said that she just told me that she would tow it to the transmission shop….what she don’t know is that I have the conversation on tape. If I have to take Allstate to court then I will be seeking $30,000.00 in damages plus an additional amount for the pain and suffering that this has put on my body and separate ones for my kids….this could of been avoided if they would of just did not breech their responsibility.

That entire year o witnessed alot especially unethical practices! I questioned the practices and it was brought to upper management! At the end of March i walk off the job but stuck with the company and went work for another agent that i know would’ve help me pursue a agency in 5 yrs! My goal and dream was to be a allstate agent! in april i was interviewed. April 14th im put on maternity leave on April 18 my baby is born as i prepared to arrive back to work on may 20th im told my binding authority was taken and neither the new agent or his boss can tell me why! Ive called and called research and research numbers NO amswers! Im a mother of 3 that has no job and NO one can tell me why! Then suddenly out of nowhere a staff employee from my previous job sends me a text apologizing for offending me in any way and how shes sorry for all of this! I tell her sorry doesnt cut it i lost my job! As i questioned what she was sorry for she then tells me a letter “supposedly” from ME was dropped in the drop slot on april 25th claiming i stole files and how they can look but they will never find it! My mouth dropped and this has me believing that that agent produced that crap and told allstate i did it! Problem is my daughter was born april 18th but because she was born with 3 major issues she was kept in nicu until april 22 i was discharged april 21st! Supposedly this letter was dropped april 25th! Excuse my language but WHY IN THE HELL would i be worried about this agency when first off i chose to leave a montj prior and second i was 3 days out of delivering and and being discharged from the hospital! Brian Lambert hated when i quit! I gave him no warning whatsoever and he was furious on March 31st when i returned his keys! Basically i knew too much and saw too much and to get me back he did this! Back to the interview for the unethical practices it was from him making defensive driver certificates from his office and sending it up to corporate! Not only that he demanded at all times to have our passwords on his desk and NOW i know why he demanded it because he would go behind our backs and put this on policies without me knowing!.I HAVE TEXT MESSAGES SHOWING WHERE HE ASK FOR IT! So with that and with me knowing about his drug issues i feel he became scared and truly wanted to hurt me! Well he did and not only me but he has done this to several ex employers please just reach out to them if you dont believe me! So i feel that this employee reached out to me because she nor brian lambert expected this to go this far but it did and it has cost me alot! I am a mother, wife & believe highly in Jesus Christ and he sees and knows EVERYTHING! I had NOTHING to do with this fake letter and it has cost me alot! I deserve to get a call back on this! Please help me and TRUST me im only fighting this to prove that im NOT the person this man has fooled allstate to make me out of & bottom line im hurt and out of a job! The absolute worse experience ever! I am a disabled veteran and have been taken through the ringer by three Allstate insurance adjusters! I have a recording of JT Tisdale promising to pay for paint and parts for my passenger door on my 2011 Nissan Altima Coupe. I forwarded the recording to his supervisor, Reginald Alexander, who agreed that since the adjuster had already made a promise it had to be honored. After I contacted Kathy Anderson in the Executive Offices in Illinois, Mr. Alexander reneged and said I would have to pay for everything concerning the damage on the passenger door. I left Nationwide to go to Allstate and it turned out to be the biggest mistake. As soon as this claim is complete, I will be returning to Nationwide. Shame on all parties involved and may God have mercy on them for lying and cheating good paying customers.

File a complaint with the “Attorney General” of your state also file complaint with Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau. I know it’s a lot of letter writing but you will get results. Don’t let them get away with this.

Allstate agent John Kester at (425) 422-1555, PO BOX 660636, Dallas, Tx. 75266 while acting as an Allstate agent, fraudulently filed an insurance claim against my Geico policy. Kester said he found my policy, stating it listed someone other than me on the policy, who was a driver which had been involved in an accident in Washington. I am the only one on my policy, my motorcycle is the only vehicle listed on my policy; my motorcycle and I are both in California. Neither have been in an accident in Washington. The accidents listed driver in not on my policy. Kester is lying in an effort to have a financial gain with the fraudulent claim he filed against me and my insurance policy with Geico. Geico said Kester has not provided them any doXXXXentation. I spoke with Kester and requested doXXXXentation about this claim. Kester sent me an email stating he had no doXXXXentation. No doXXXXentation, yet he filed a claim against me. Kester fabricated the claim that someone else is on my policy; as no one else is on my policy. Here is Kesters email reply after our telephone call: Allstate Insurance allstate at service.allstate.com 5:05 PM (15 hours ago) to me Keith, Thank you for your time on the phone. A Geico policy that listed the involved claimant was found to be in effect, and as part of the investigation, a claim was filed with Geico. We will work with Geico to resolve this claim. We have been with Allstate since 1989 insuring our house and 5 cars. We had damage to our roof in 2011 at which time they only patched the roof. February of this year 2016 we had severe wind damage to our roof and once again they only want to patch the roof. We are very dissatisfied with allstate and each representative that we have spoke seems that they don’t know how to do their job. They act as though they don’t know what is going on, and we are to work around their schedule as to when am adjuster can come out, we have requested a second adjuster to come out and it has been like pulling teeth. Allstate only wants to patch the roof not replace. For my family to be Customer’s since 1989 I think they have treated us pretty bad. We will be seeking other insurance coverage through another company where I sure we will be treated better and would live our business.

I have never been happier with an insurance co. In my life. That said, I have never been more disipointed with an agent in my life. Specificly Mathews insurance, Pason AZ 85541. My policy was originated in Globe AZ 85501. Nice people in this office always. The problem started when the globe office closed for one week several years ago. My policy was scalped from this office at that time. Matthews called me and told me he was going to do this and was told no do not do this because Payson is 5 hours travel from us and there were offices within an hour from us. Since then he can’t get anything right. I refuse to drive that far to solv the problem in person. I’m currently paying for insurance on 3 trucks I no longer own. 2 were sold over a year ago. The replacement truck was purchased 8 months ago, I have been issued a insurance card by Allstate but can’t be found on my policy and have been told by the state of AZ it is not insured. If I am not transferred to the Globe office I may be forced to purchase my insurance from another company.

I had a horrible experience with Allstate agent Peter Ungaro and his staff, located on Hylan Blvd in Staten Island. I now live in Long Island, the other night the police were looking at my car, I went out they informed me my registration was suspended due to a lapse in coverage dating back to June 27th, 2015, when I bought the car. I called Allstate immediately the next day. They were referring my situation to the “Team” to settle this situation with the DMV. I was assured my car would not be towed and not to worry. Low and behold on Friday of the same week, I was stopped by the Freeport Police, for suspended registration. After discussion with they police officers, they impounded my car. Still in the computer as suspended registration. This ordeal cost nearly $700 to get my car back. Peter Ungaro and his associates dropped the ball on this. They should have expedited the situation and should not have assumed the car would not get towed. Every time I talked to them I got a different story. Peter was condescending and talked down to me. I did lose my temper with him believe me. I am asking Allstate to reimburse me for towing, storage, DMV charges, loss of work, and fines. I am very very disappointed on how this was handled.

Yes, this a 10 plus year subcontractor, Financial Services Rep that works at Allstate. First, I do not insure with Allstate because of all the comments listed below. My story is the same with a twist, I had Allstate 25 years ago and made a theft claim on my homeowners complete with police report. They interviewed the thieves and because they were related to me refused to pay the claim. It was for $25,000 in loss. I kept up the research/pressure and 5 years later some of the items were returned to me as I had found a person who was willing to testify how the thieves were bragging about what they had done, so I notified Allstate, had the police at the site of the return and moved all items into a storage unit for Allstate’s claims people to inspect so I could finalize the claim. When they refused to speak to me I showed up at their claims department. They still refused to come into the lobby. I was told by an attorney that the cost to sue them would be more than the loss so I stopped all efforts to settle the claim. God is looking out for us. Let me explain, I got a call from an Allstate manager asking me to come to work for them as their first financial rep in this area. After 4 months of talking with this man, Chris Clarke, I took the job and had 10 great years working for/with him. Originally, I took the job to get my money back from the screw job I got from Allstate and I did, millions but I stayed out of respect for this one individual. He has been gone for several years and I have stayed on under much duress/abusive behavior by the current group. That is not OK, but I am a single female, age 67, who could more than likely not get a job at my age, so I started a business when he left the company that allows me to retire December 2015 very comfortably. I still keep in touch with my first manager and appreciate all that he when through on my behalf, I can just imagine! I am sharing this in the hopes that the wronged will enjoy a grin and a giggle.

I live in a Hurricane Sandy area of NJ. Recently bought a house in the area and have had a horrible time trying to transfer the flood insurance. The local agent is a waste of time and I have been trying to work with AllstateASAP.

One of allstate southern office is prejudice. I had two policies I paid on one the same way I been doing via automated. That payment was applied to the wrong policy. The intended policy canceled and my license suspended. When I found that my license suspended and they did not renew the policy I was stuck with a penalty from DMV that I can’t afford. I asked for help because I did make the payment and wanted it to be back dated the manager basically told me to be glad he gave me a new policy and maybe I should sell my cars. I have six cars all are old half is not in good shape but they are my babies and I worked hard for them and they are stepping stones of my life. Its a shame people can mess up your life and nothing can be done. I never met such a prejudice manager in all my African American life. I guess mayhem is what allstate put you in and those good hands pull away when you in need

Got into an accident almost 2 years ago and just had surgery 3 days ago and will be out of work for almost 2 months. The driver at faults insurance was the bare minimal therefore will not cover all my medical expenses so I have to pay out of pocket. I had to open a loss wage claim with allatate who is my insurance and got James Smith as my adjuster. He is very rude and condescending. Spoke to him this morning to see if he got my forms that was sent to him a week ago to have him tell me 2 firms were done wrong. I asked him why didn’t he call me to make me aware of the problem and his response was he never received a call from me asking for a return call. REALLY! He wouldn’t let me talk and made comments that I couldn’t read the paperwork. I put him on speaker so my partner could hear the conversation and with both of us being managers in professional fields needless to say we were appalled. I have shared my experience on my Facebook and low and behold I’m not the only one who has had dealings with James. Training on phone etiquette, compassion and sympathy is definitely in order for him. Such a Shame because it only takes one bad apple to put a bad taste in your mouth.

I recently had a Ariens snow blower stolen. I filed a claim & all I got was a check for $367.37 what a joke. I called & was told by a claims rep that if I sent copies to prove the value they would send a readjustment check. They changed their minds. I live only on SS & small pension. I can’t afford to put in the rest. So much for being in good hands with Allstate. I sent their main corp. a complaint via email. Judging from many posts I’m reading here they don’t care. They’re more than happy to TAKE OUR MONEY, but they don’t care. I will be reporting them to the BBB & write a letter to our local newspaper & Media to let them know what ripoff dishonest company Allstate really is. Maybe all of us customers who have been ripped off by this company should file a class action law suit.

My granddaughter was involved in an accident on 2/3/2015, with an Allstate insured. It was not her fault. After dealing with many claims adjuster, being hung up on, talked to very rudely and nothing getting accomplished, she finally decided to file the claim with Country Financial (her ins co) and let them deal with the incompetency at Allstate. As of 6/3/2015 the car loan had still not been paid off, although there had been three different dates told to her and the loan officer that a check was issued. Thes rest of the claim for personal property and on going medical expenses has not been taken care of. You would think Allstate could pay for a new cell phone that is needed for business purposes and can’t be purchased due to all the other expenses she has had and she has not gone back to work full time due to her injuries. This has been a terrible experience and it was not her fault, yet she is the one suffering! A letter was sent to the insurance Commissioner, Better Business Bureau and Allstate Corporate Office.

Beware long time policy holders, after 21 years with agent Max McGee in Saginaw , Mi I was shocked to find out after checking other insurance companies, I was paying almost double what I would pay for the same coverage at another insurance company . every couple of years, I would ask Max to evaluate my rate, assured me that I was getting the best rate possible .

I had insurance with your company and when I cancelled my policy, I was sent an e-mail from Allstate for a rating and the reason I cancelled. I filled it out and sent it in. In a few days I received 2 e-mails from my former Agent. They were very nasty and he even cussed at me, because I did not give him a high rating. I rated the insurance company on my experience not the Agent personally. But now I would love to be able to rate him!! I have requested corporate to contact me. We will see if they care……

I would like to know if anyone even monitors this. I am extremely dissatisfied with how Allstate has handled/mishandled my claim. I was happy with my agent up until today, when the liaison person, Tanya Bell, decided to have an attitude with me, when she is fully aware of how this claim has gone from day one. There have been so many people involved in this, for an accident that happened on 11/7/2014. I was hit by someone who ran a red light. Not my fault, yet you would think it is. They Allstate personnel I have dealt with have continuously acted as if they were doing me a “favor”. I pay nearly $800 a month for car insurance (I have a teenager). There are no favors being done, but I would appreciate someone doing their job. And I would like Allstate to take a look at how they handle claims. There is no reason why it should have taken this long. No reason why I should have to speak with and deal with a dozen different “representatives” and no reason why mediocrity should be tolerated in their employees. I would expect the level of service I’ve received from a fly by night, crappy no name insurance that costs me about a hundred bucks a month. That is the type of service I am receiving. I would actually understand that, to be honest. You get what you pay for, right? But no, not in this case. I am paying for top of the line yet receiving third rate services.

Just an addendum to the above. My car was finally paid off 1/15/15. No one notified me until ten days later. Yet, everyone I spoke with was informed that I need the info back ASAP so that I can forward it on to my GAP insurance people. I’m so frustrated with all of this.

My previous agent was Joseph Johnson in Prospect Kentucky. I left him and went to a new agent because of billing, poor customer service and I would asked to remove something from my policy and they kept forgetting, then my bill went up about $12.00 and I had asked them for 5 days to explain and they kept saying I don’t know I will have to check with the (quote) with the uppers. They called my home, emailed me and left messages that they were working on it and had no idea why it went up. When I contacted another agent they looked up on the computer and told me right then why the increase. I told the previous agent my husband had retired in 2012 and he is no longer driving business it was pleasure and only about 100 miles a year. I asked them to give me an ajustment and was told it would not make a difference if it was changed to pleasure. My new agent told me yes there is a difference and told me I would save about $60.00 every six month. After that I called the corporate office and filed a complaint and wanted an adjustment back to 2012. I have not as yet received a call from the corporate office

I have a second home in South Carolina, which I go to frequently. It was my parents’ home, and I have kept it. We still like to attend hometown ballgames, and my husband and I both have relatives there.
The house has been insured by Allstate for many, many, many years; and we have never filed a claim on it. It is well kept and has ADT security and exterior motion lights and cameras on it. I recently received a letter saying that Allstate was going to inspect the exterior of the house. I have never heard of this. I have lived in my present home for 37 years, and have never had an exterior inspection. My friends who own homes and are insured with Allstate and other companies have never heard of this either.
This week I received a form letter from the results of that inspection, and it stated that the inspector had found several things that needed to be repaired or I would lose my insurance.
When I called the agent’s office, he was out of the office, but his assistant called back. I told her that I had never heard of insurance companies inspecting the exterior of a home of a long-term client, especially one that had never had any problems. She replied that Allstate periodically inspects all of the homes they insure.
When I asked what repairs the house needed, she said there was only one–a missing shingle on the roof. Shocked, I replied, “You are going to cancel my insurance because of a missing shingle?” She said “YES,” and indicated that Allstate took “roofs” very seriously. She told me to do the repairs and send her a picture, and she would take care of it. “A SHINGLE?????? Where is the missing shingle? It’s a big house.” She said according to the picture it was over the porch as you look straight at the house.
The inspector must have looked long and hard to find SOMETHING to use to try to cancel my insurance. AFTER PAYING INSURANCE AT LEAST 30 YEARS AND NEVER FILING A CLAIM FOR A HOUSE THAT IS OBVIOUSLY IN GOOD CONDITION, Allstate wants to try to cancel my insurance. I will fix the shingle; in fact, I will replace the whole roof because the roof is at least 15 years old. What BS will you try next?

I was in an accident wasn’t even driving had no fault with All State they denied my claims and said I was not injured within a few weeks of the accident. Several years later still have severe low back pain. All State will deny your claim, you must sue them immediately, file your own claim if you cannot get an attorney. When you take it to a jury trial, All State gets the message, when you are awarded far more than the initial claim, for All State mishandling your claim. I wish I had known this years ago.
All State damaged my credit, hurt my family and only paid a small claim, it will take millions of us taking them to court as soon as they refuse to pay for all damages for this to change.

Also that is I had no fault insurance with All State, when All state insurance denied my claim, so basically with All State you never really have full coverage, it’s garbage insurance, but you don’t know until you file a claim. I won’t be monitoring this post soooo for those employees at All State who love to post as anonymous, I think the public is already own to you.

Hey guys, I was recently in a bit of an accident so I have to completely replace my front bumper cover. Since the insurance is ??? and doesnt pay for an oem replacement, they gave me 776 USD for a “reconditioned” bumper…. Now, for those of you that don’t know, a “reconditioned bumper is one that has been patched back up after an accident and primed… so in theory, a broken bumper that was in a previous accident is being reused by the insurance company so that they can save money and screw you over. Now, I understand that the insurance company is all about making money, but this is an outrageous move that is unjust by all means, especially since we all cough up a monthly check to the company for the coverage we think we all rightfully deserve. So, since im not going to be dealing with that reconditioned ********, Im gonna go ahead and take advantage of the moment and look into purchasing a aftermarket bumper.
the funy thing is before i call to file a claim i explain what happen with me and how i hit flying object at the free way so i have been advised that would be and i wont be at fault at all so we file the claim based on that from allstate agent.now after the adjuster came to my houe to inspect the car and give me the estimate he MR SEAN ALLAN(adjuster) give him self the right to changed the whole story and flep the flop and make me at fault.I AM SO DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY. can any one explane that to me??

I want to let you Know that two different allstate employees mishandle my claim after 2 months of dealing with this the lady told me that she was going to call me back the next businness day after i had fax over all my information she goes on vacation and three weeks later another person has the claim asking for the same information that i had already provided before.,sai that she didnt have infomation from her co -worker inside allstate. they both has caused maxium stress level . i dont understand why she act like a prosecuting attorney when it is allstate respondibility to make sure me as a customer is taking care of. this is why allstate get sued because of harrsing employees. i like this settle in an descent timely manner. this is your dallas Tx. allstate office

I would like to take the time to give Mrs. Cathy Young in your North Carolina Customer Service Department the respect ,values , ethics, compassion, empathy that Mrs. Cathy Young has given me. When Mrs. Young received my call she took the time to LISTEN what I had to say. Even though I was so Angry and out ragged and unappalled by the way that the Rudy Garza Agency had done. The Empathy and compassion of her understanding of how outraged I was at that time calmed me down to know that Mrs. Young would do everything in her power to help me resolve the problem. She took it upon herself to go above the call of duty as a customer service representative to follow through in a timely manner as per her word. When saying this I know for a fact that any customer service rep. can take a complaint and past it on to the next dept. to get to it when they see fit to. I personal know this from my younger yrs. of working in customer service. This is why I am taking the time to put this in writing for Mrs. Cathy Young to COMMENED her on an OUTSTANDING JOB that she has done. Not only had she taken the complaint but called me back the same day at a later time to explain in detail just what was going on with my complaint how the process works . She did not have a direct line to reach her back at so it was hard for me to reach her when other events had happened that day. When Mrs. Young did call me back to add on to the complaint it was not a priority and was being passed up by the corporate ladder Chain of command Do to the fact that the Rudy Garza Agency had violated my BILL OF RIGHTS, And had made VERBAL THREATS on my policy was not to be reinstated do to the fact that I had complained against Rudy Garza at that time he was retaliating against me. Mrs. Young then took the time to set me up with another agent that would help me with any claims in the future . The Compassion and Business ethics and values that Mrs. Cathy Young has shown me through this time of term oil. Mrs.. Young Has my OUTMOST RESPECT, it was an HONOR to have a woman like Mrs. Young to serve me with her graces.
With out further a due Their might be a lesson for the Corporate Side of Allstate No matter how high in the chain you may go. You are a still person so treat people as you would like to be treated. Know the values of your customers they are the ones that make your pay check.

I want to complain about my policy. On 3 separate occasions I set up autopay for my auto insurance premiums. In good faith I tried to stick with Allstate thinking I had a reputable company. They failed to do the autopay as I had requested. Twice it was cancelled and reinstated after the premiums were bought up current. The 3rd time i figured was a charm and they would do the autopay on time. Again autopay did not occur. I was canceled a 3rd time and was not notified of the cancellation. Four days after I was cancelled my car door struck a fender of a parked veichle. When the owner of the damaged car filed a claim she was informed that my policy was cancelled 4 days prior to the damage. I feel let down by Allstate for not following through on autopay on 3 occasions now causing me to pay out of pocket for damages. One representative stated i was cancelled in april 2014. The claim adjuster stated i was cancelled on May 10th 2014. Which one is it? The policy was almost paid but for a lack of $110. I’d gladly pay it as the policy would’ve been up for renewal. I am complaining about Allstate adjuster James Ryan Montgomery in Wasilla, Alaska. He brings his infant child and his girlfriend with him in the company vehicle to job sights. It is very unprofessional. Also his girlfriend drives the company vehicle to work. She works at a liquor store, so on an almost daily basis your company logo is advertised in front of a store that specifically sells alcohol. It doesn’t give off a very professional impression on All State’s behalf.

Long story short I got hit by one of your customers 6 days ago your customers failed to call in the accident because obviously she’s in the wrong. I’m contacting you to provide copies of hospital Bills that have not been paid by Allstate. I received your voice mail in regards to two bodily injury claims open for my mother Manuela Valdez and Jose Aleman, unfortunately I never heard from you after that.
I returned your phone call and advised you to please assist us with the hospital bills as collectors they have continually harassed my mother causing her to be in a state of distress.
In addition I’m requesting to file for a DEMINISHED VALUE CLAIM for the 2010 Nissan Frontier.
Last week we received a call from a “negotiator” from Allstate. The call was recorded for confirmation purposes. The “negotiator” who contacted my sister Ivonne last week with my mother was extremely discourteous and unprofessional. I’m paraphrasing her when she said, “what do you want, do you want money, how much money do you want.” The negotiator spoke to my sister Ivonne and her exact response was, “how can you put a price on my mother’s health and life, she is a cancer patient that was directly hit and bumped on her main lymph nodes of her shoulder and neck area.”
The bogus telemarketing Allstate produces stating, “With Allstate, you are in good hands.” My mother and son have not been in good hands as hospital bills were never paid, a “negotiator put a price” is if my mother is a merchandise or has zero value.
This accident and the aftermath of it not only caused my mother and son physical injuries, in addition it has caused them emotional distress, particularly to my mother who will need future counseling, and physical therapy. They both continually recall the accident event and have experience nightmares. My mother cannot enjoy a simple trip as she feels all cars will impact her. Her mental suffering has gone from a happy normal person to a woman with anxiety and depression, particularly after hearing the “negotiator” putting a price on her health and asking my sister, “you want money, how much money do you want?” as it states in the recording.

The expenses as a result of this accident has totaled a an amount the “negotiator” has objected to paying and in addition she put a price on my mother and son’s health. My mother and son have both had considerable pain and suffering as a result of this accident and continue to suffer from neck and back pain. The question to Allstate is how can clients be in good hands when the staff attempting to resolve a claim instead negotiate and bargain with peoples health placing them in more stress than they already were from the time of the accident.
I’m requesting this claim to be settled in a timely manner.
