Dear Mr. Velaquez,
My name is Terri Greer & I have been a customer of Delmarva Power for the last 30 years. My account # is 55012090423. My Husband Jeff is disabled & requires the use of a c-pap machine to sleep at night in order to keep him breathing. We were on the medical emergency program for many years & were not in danger of having our service terminated. In the past year or so the policy changed & they can terminate service for non payment. Our bill now totals 30,408.54 & Delmarva is wanting 22,000 to restore services. Please understand if we could have paid the large amount required we would have done so a long time ago but we are on a very fixed income. My husband is disabled & receives Social Security Disability payments of 880.00 a month. Our rent is 480.00 a month. I am also trying to receive my disability payments as well & have been for many years. I also have legal representation for disability from Jenkins Blocks & Associates their phone # is 410=727-4000 if you would need to verify any information on my part. We are fighting to pay all our bills each month & our electric bill is very important but we cant always pay. I have paid as much as I can when I can. I have even received assistance from Maryland Energy Assistance. But we just do not have the kind of money Delmarva is asking to have our service restored. Our situation looks very bad on paper but all I am trying to do is try & find someone who can give a break & get our service back on immediately. Without my husband being able to use his machine at night to breathe he will die. He has been in the situation more then once where he stopped breathing. If you could please take a few minutes of your day to give me a call back my phone # is 443-466=8215 I would greatly appreciate it. You are our last hope of getting through to someone who may be able to do something to help us. I thank you for your time & look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Terri D, Greer

I called on 7-03-17 to inquire as to my July bill that has doubled opposed to the June bill.
I was told I would get a call back in two days from an expert, which has not happened, the
customer service reps lack customer care, they tell you anything to get you off the phone.
I am disappointed and disgusted with the lack of customer care I have experienced, I would like to have a caring person give me some assistance with this issue. I have called initially on 7-03-17, and 7-05-17, still given the same information, no remedy, and or assistance.

Attn: David Velazquez, COO
Subject: Account: Darlene Bennett – 5502-1268-XXXX – Suitland, MD 20746
Good afternoon: Mr. Velazquez,
My name is Darlene Bennett. The reason for my contacting you is because there is something very strange and unsettling that is going on with my account. I recently rcvd 2 bills in the mail for the following months:
• March 22, 2016 – April 21, 2016 – Total credit / $506.64-
• April 22, 2016 – May 20, 2016 – Total credit / $94.98-
When I contacted the Pepco Holdings Hqtrs, a lady by the name of Ms. Linda Brown rcvd my complaint and assigned the complaint to Ms. Fenelus. Ms. Fenelus struggled with my complaint for quite a while and then she went on maternity leave. Ms. Fenelus mentioned to me that she was having a hard time trying to figure out what was going on with the account. So Ms. Fenelus goes on maternity leave and my account is still left in the same predicament with no resolution. I contacted Ms. Linda Brown again after leaving her lots of messages about my account. When I finally got Ms. Brown, she stated that she could not do anything with the account and that I should contact the team lead. His name is Ken Ellis. I left so many messages for Mr. Ellis before I was able to get him on the phone. When I did get him on the phone, we went through the account and all of its notes. Mr. Ellis stated that it look like Ms. Fenelus was drafting a letter that day I assume from home. He stated that he would discuss the account with his supervisor and to contact him after I recvd the letter from him that Ms. Fenelus had drafted. The problem is that I never rcvd that letter nor have I been able to reach anyone concerning my account. I still have the very same issues with my account that I started out with. No one that I have spoken with or who has been charged with addressing my concerns of the account has been able to be reached.
I have left numerous messages for Mr. Ellis about my account informing him each time I call that I still have not rcvd the letter he was supposed to send to me. My account continues to be unstable and I am requesting for my account to be investigated thoroughly and for someone to be assigned that is accountable and can tell me what exactly is going on. I have no problem paying my bill but there is an issue with Pepco informing me that I have credits in different amounts and that I do not owe a bill for 2 months and then seeing those credits added back into the amount I owe and no one understands what is going on. I do not want to sound difficult but I need answers about my account and the non-responses makes me think that something is going on that should not be.
I ask that you pls. contact me as soon as possible to discuss. I can be reached at 240-671-XXXXX-cell, 301-427-XXXX-work or my email at: bennettd34 at yahoo.com. I look forward to speaking with someone on your staff. Enjoy your day.
Thank you,
Darlene Bennett

I dont agree with the Pepco installment Agreement policy and procedures. Also the csr representative and Manager were very rude and non-empathetic/ sympathetic .. I will be shopping around for another utility Company since Pepco doesn’t seemingly care about keeping good customers their too busy threatening to disconnect your electricity for paying a couple days late…Dont have time for tne the Aggravation!!! Moving on…
Darrel Kelton says
I called PEPCO on July 28, 2016. I informed PEPCO to disconnect the electric originally from August 2-4 2016. The electric was asked to be put on HOLD until further notice! It was NOTED in the account specifically DO NOT ALLOW SHERRY TUCKER to activate the account! The power was cut off August 2; to only be reconnected back on in Mr. Keltons name! FRAUD! Twice she did this FRAUD AGAIN……until finally PEPCO gave a Squatter with no lease no verification no job being EVICTED FOR FORCEFUL ENTRY and allow her to take the account out of my name. .and put an account in her Name! PEPCO really! The inconsistencies of your staff and so called managers are pathetic. I had to leave my home with a seven year old whose mother was killed tragically in which this is the home she only knows. Please tell me PEPCO is not insensitive like that; to support the very same person forcing Her and myself out of our home. So let’s make it comfortable for her until she’s thrown out! While my daughter and I sleep in hotels and motels. I have contacted the authorities the have given me a case number and I plan to use it! The address that we are speaking of is located at ft wash MD! I know a murderer and child molester that need power to see how they molest children!
Dawnyel Gordon says
I am so disappointed in Pepco customer service. They are so very rude. They sent me a bill 5 months later and expect me to pay it. This is crazy. I will be getting in touch with someone from corporate soon.
