I purchased a used 2008 motor coach with a XXXXmins 6.7L ISB engine in 2015 with 13000 miles on the odometer. Now has 23000 miles on the engine and it has prematurely failed. XXXXmins dealer suggests the installation of a reconditioned engine due to the extensive damage. The unit has been maintained per manufactures spec and has failed due to a broken valve stem. No signs of excessive RPMs, heat, valve guttering, etc. XXXXmins, Inc. in Nashville refuses to offer any customer assistance due to the age of the engine. Really!! 23000 service related miles on a XXXXmins diesel engine and it fails. Where is the product quality and customer service, here? Shame on XXXXmins for abandoning your customers. Something should be and could be done here by offering some assistance due to the low mileage on an engine that XXXXmins states is virtually indestructible. Somebody stand up and due what is right!

I purchased a 2017 Nissan Titan XD truck with the XXXXmins 5.0 liter V8 Turbo. I have 3 problems with my engine: 1.) It is performing an Exhaust Filter Cleaning at approximately every 200 to 300 miles (normal is 5 – 10,000 miles on Ford 6.4 Liter), which means that there is a huge performance loss at approximately every 3 to 4 hours of driving / along with terrible fuel economy for about 30 minutes. 2.) Very importantly, the engine “Cuts Out” at approximately 1750 RPM dropping it to about 1500 RPM / and then it picks back up causing the vehicle to act like it is driving down a bumpy road and only running on 5 cylinders, this is unsafe for highway driving. This condition is far worse at initial start when colder outside. 3.) The Turbo Lag is terrible on this engine, and it is actually is emphasized as really terrible during these Engine Cut Out moments.
I desperately need your help, and Nissan is not willing to attend to these issues, claiming that quote “the Nissan Field Rep was advised this is a normal characteristic condition of this engine for this model by a resident XXXXmins Engineer, and was advised that there is no repair recommendation to address this condition at this time”.
I have the greatest respect for XXXXmins Engines and your Company, and I am confident that there is no way in the world / that Engineering nor Management at XXXXmins would ever make such a claim from your Engineering Department. Please take this comment that I am supplying, and run this to the top of your Management Ladder a quickly as you can. Please help me resolve my engine issues / or advise Nissan to replace my engine or return my $60,000+ that I paid for this truck accordingly. (409) 719-XXXXX
