The worst experience ever. Very bad business practices. It’s been 6 months now since we purchased furniture from this store, and no delivery yet. They keep changing delivery dates and blaming it on Covid19. We tried canceling the order, but they want to charge us $900.00 because it is a special order. The fact that they could not deliver is not my fault so I do not feel like that we should be charged penalty. When we bought this furniture everything was a special order because they had nothing in stock. We have heard that they are going out of business and filing for bankruptcy. We filed complaints with Better Business Bureau and CT Consumer Protection Agency, and are currently working with the TD bank trying to close account and retrieve our payments. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!!!!!

Major disappointment! First Pilgrim advertises … come in for a scratch off 35, 40 or 45% off your purchase (the sale price is already listed on the website its not addition to the sale price listed – no need to come into the store. Next I asked about price match policy…i was told by the switchboard no we don’t pricematch and then when I spoke to a salesperson they will not price match unless its a brick and mortar store in writing. So… target and walmart are excluded even though the prices are clearly listed online. The rational is that the use 3rd part vendors… well Pilgrim the iteam we’d like you would have to order also. So, at the end of the day the salesperson said she can’t do anything about the pricing.

Why is it so hard to find an email to reach out to someone? Only option is the customer service generic email and they don’t get back to you in a reasonable time (weeks).
You can walk into the store without being jumped on by someone who wants to help you but god forbid you have an issue you need help with!

The worst experience I have ever had with any busy! I purchased my couch in October 2020. My couch came in November because of Covid. When my couch was delivered, which I payed $100 for delivery. The delivery people had no patients at all. He took the plastic wrap off my couch and forced it through the door causing the couch to ripe and scrap the metal. From Nov to April, I waited for a new couch. When the couch came the “new couch” was already damaged. I contacted to store multiply times to talk to a manager! Supposedly they’re working from home and find it hard to return calls, since October 2020! Now it’s July 2021 and I since have no new couch! I have to do my house warming with the damage couch. I am currently on hold now for 18 minutes.

Very disappointed. My experience with Pilgrim Furniture and their warranty company was terrible. After receiving a credit (from the “warranty company”) on July 15th, having dealt with a pandemic, getting Covid, and a shut-down, we finally got to the store in order to replace the set and we were 2 weeks late for the warranty. We did order a set but canceled it after the warranty credit (which would have paid for 1/2 of it, hardly a replacement). It expired! Too bad, so sad, was pretty much the warranty company’s response. I spoke to several people at the store, and they said they would get back to us. Some did, and said it was up to the warranty company. What “customer service”.
