Taco Bell was founded by Glen Bell as a hot dog stand called Bell’s Drive-In in San Bernardino, California in 1946. Glen Bell was 23 at the time. He watched the long lines of steady customers at the Mexican restaurant across the street and thought he might change from hot dogs and hamburgers to Mexican food.
Six years later, he sold the hot dog stand and started a new business selling tacos under the name Taco-Tia. Over the next few years, Bell owned and operated a number of restaurants, several of which sold tacos.
Bell built the first Taco Bell in 1962. He sold his first franchise, to former police officer Kermit Becky, in Torrance, California, in 1964.
The company grew explosively and opened its 100th restaurant in 1967.
Taco Bell went public in 1970 with 325 restaurants.
In 1978 PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell with 868 restaurants. Glen Bell became a shareholder in PepsiCo.
Throughout the 1990’s, the Taco Bell Chihuahua commercial was extremely popular. A small chihuahua would look at the camera and “say” Yo Quiero Taco Bell” (I want or I like Taco Bell. )
Today Taco Bell is owned by Yum! Brands, a company that also owns KFC, Pizza Hut, and WingStreet.
Taco Bell is international, operating in Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Iceland, India, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Spain, South Korea, and the U.K. Taco Bell has not been successful in attempts to enter the Mexican market.
The parent company announced in November 2018 that sales at Taco Bell were “tremendous” during the last quarter with a net income of $454 million.
The company has nearly 8,000 locations and says that it plans to have a workforce of more than 100,000 persons by the end of 2022. Taco Bell partnered with ride-sharing company Lyft to offer drive-through service at Taco Bell. In January 2018, Yum! Brands purchased a 3% stake in GrubHub, the online delivery service, allowing the company to integrate with their websites.
Since the purchase of GrubHub, the company is testing a possible delivery service for both Taco Bell and KFC brands.
Taco Bell recalled over 2 million pounds of ground beef after customers found metal shavings in the meat. This occurred in early October 2019. The recall involved 4 states and while no one was injured, the company was quick to say that customers who feel they might have been affected should seek medical help.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic in the spring of 2020, Taco Bell was making the unprecedented move of closing their dining rooms and only selling food via the drive through or through their delivery service.
Yum Brands, who owns Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Pizza Hut stated on March 13th, 2020, that all employees who were forced to stay home due to restaurant closures and the coronavirus, would continue to receive their pay. This applies only at company owned locations, however, and while they urged franchise owners to do the same, it is unknown which, if any, would do so.

I called store #036255 in Avondale , Pa. to see if I had to order the 25.00 at home taco bar and was told no, I live 25 min. to the closest taco bell to me and after driving there was told they no long have this item. TACO BELL GET WITH THE PROGRAM either you do or you don’t but don’t advertise it on the store web site and then not have it., so for that reason I will NOT be going to taco bell again. We are in a shut down in my part of the state and I’m trying to help out businesses to keep people employed so that they can feed there families but it seems TACO BELL does not give a sh*t about the little people. The store is brand new and its clean and very nice looking and I was glad that i didn’t have to drive 45 mins to another taco bell BUT AFTER THIS TACO BELL CAN GO TO H*LL.

His response was verbatim “Oh he’s not sick!” The unknown employee would not wear his mask even ehen told. BOYCOTT TACO BELL FOR BEING UNPATRIOTIC.

IS THIS HOW YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES AND THE PUBLIC??
“So my job has a strict social media policy. I could get fired for writing this open letter. But I think the risk is worth it right now.
Hi, Taco Bell! I’ve worked for the Bell for a little under five and a half years. I’m here to elaborate on an answer I gave to an internal poll asking questions about our COVID-19 response.
The question—which was asked with radio buttons and did not provide any space for elaboration—was “do our new procedures make you feel safe?”
No, Taco Bell. No, they don’t.
You have suggested we wear masks, which is nice. But you haven’t provided them. I just paid $40, which I will not be reimbursed for, to buy fabric and elastic to protect my crew. I won’t be paid for my time in doing your job, either.
You have provided paid sick time—but only for people who test positive for COVID-19, even though getting a test is wildly difficult, verging on impossible. My state isn’t even offering them right now. Now I’m lucky, I’m a shift leader and live in a state where you are required to give me sick pay whether I have COVID or not, but what about my crew who don’t yet fall under the sick pay law? What about locations in other states where sick pay isn’t mandated? And if half the crew calls in and two have COVID diagnoses and two have symptoms but haven’t been able to get a test, do you really think the untested people will be able to stay home, even though CDC guidelines (and, frankly, your own policies) say they should?
You’ve advised us to start handing out drivethru orders on trays to minimize contact. Do you have any idea how many people then take the tray into their car to unload it, thus creating more contact than of we’d just handed out the food with gloves? Same with putting all drinks in carriers—do you know how many people try to hand the carriers back? It’s a lot. Did you ask any frontline employees, like….at all, if these measures make sense with how customers actually act? (I’m guessing not.)
We are armed with gloves and a bottle of sanitizer and that’s it. We’re not being given hazard pay, even though we’re being required to treat cash and dirty trays basically as biohazard. I’m having nightmares about work, dreams in which I’m surrounded by customers trying to pull down my homemade mask while people in suits tell me said mask doesn’t match my uniform. I’m sure I’m not the only one having nightmares like this.
But do you know what makes me feel least safe of all, Taco Bell?
(Here comes the part I could probably get fired for. I’m relying on you, KOS readers, to point out why that would be a bad idea and a sh*t thing to do.)
According to an email we received, if we are required by the state to shut down, you will not continue to pay us, as other companies have agreed, nor will you furlough us.
What you have decided, Taco Bell, is that you will fire us.
It’s okay, though, because we’ll be rehireable. I’m pretty sure—at least, given that you didn’t indicate anything to the contrary—that this means we lose all the benefits we’ve earned with years of labor, and any pay raises we’ve gotten over the years will be right in the trash, but we can have our jobs back. How generous. One of the women in my store has been here for 17 years and missed fewer than half a dozen days of work. You will tell her she has lost everything she worked for all those years just so you don’t have to help your workers?
We are risking our lives so you can stay open. We’re not being provided the PPE we need, our new “safety measures” are a joke, we’re still being required to make all our metrics while having staffing cut, and at the end of it all our thanks might be losing our jobs.
But it’s okay. Nobody will care as long as you keep giving them free tacos. Right?”
WILL NEVER PURCHASE AT A TACO BELL AGAIN!!

On April 7th, 2020 I ordered on line at Taco Bell in Estrella Mountain Ranch, Goodyear AZ, scheduled for drive through pickup. Arrived and was asked to wait out front for them to being my order to me.
While waiting, I watched a female employee eating her nachos finger to mouth, then she approached the counter, grabbed my drink and food order and brought out to my car. I asked her if she was just eating using her fingers to mouth and now bringing my food out without any gloves or at minimum washing her hands. Her response was like it was a surprise I would even question it. She just said, hmmmm, yes I was, but, I never touched your food. I am completely disgusted with the lack of respect, concern or hygiene displayed. Where is the management and oversight. She handed me the order and went to get a new drink. I was so disappointed, I just left, threw away the food order and moved on as I have no faith in any future food prep process I can’t see if this is the level of concern/commitment in that which I can see.
Apparently no clue

Hi. Went through your drive through today. The guy who took my money also put the lid on my drink and handed it to me. (No gloves)

Drive through never gives napkins or the requested quantity of sauce or type. Request six packets of fire for three tacos and get two packs of hot sauce. This is a consistent problem and thus not an error. Customers Not appreciated.

I went to Taco Bell located at 6745 Madison Ave. Fair oaks, ca. they took forever in the drive through and then got my order all wrong. They had to remake the order holding up traffic behind me. I got home and the order was still wrong. I called the manager Jonathon hung up on me repeatedly after I asked him who his manager is. I’m so tired of Taco Bell. We go all the time to multiple locations. We travel a lot. They always get the orders wrong. I have the receipts proving it. The employees just don’t pay attention to the orders. All my receipts document what the orders are and how to be modified. I could understand a few times but this seems excessive and to be happening everywhere and all the time. We are so tired of it. Taking our business elsewhere. Chipotle here we come. We’re your loyal customers now.

Honey they need to fire the whole crew at the Taco Bell in Newberry S.C. they are nasty. Dasia and Britley wiped the nose on their gloves and was touching people’s food and I was having a hessie fit, I worked there at the time when I said something to them they refused to wash their hands and change their gloves. That is disgusting, I don’t do nasty. When I told Alishia Williams the GM she made the statement when she was told what had happened I quote, ” If you tell on them then you would tell on me.” Well that means your nasty too. She was making Dasia into a shift lead, her smart a**, sarcastic and hateful attitude toward customers and employee’s will not make her brownie points with no one. You have to be professional. She does not need to be shift lead why have an attitude just because someone ask you your age. Then Bernice threw the toasted chalupa cookers into the trash, I asked the other manager what the hell was she doing that’s nasty. The trash cans smelled awful I told them that they need to be cleaned because liquid and food causes bacteria to spread through the store and causes magets, I couldn’t because it was lunch hour. Cici works close we have come in with the dining room untouched and food left out. Dominic works the dining room she is to busy gossiping with the other employee’s or on her cell phone, the dining room nasty as hell, I made a statement to Alishia if I was a customer walking in to eat lunch I would walk back out and go somewhere else to eat because the dining room was awful. If you do not want to lose business I would change the whole crew and hire people that care about servsafe conditions.

Here is a safety idea than can help to keep us all safer from this virus and other germs.
These are uncertain times and I have seen many drive through restaurants having their workers wear gloves but due to glove shortages or cost of the gloves, they keep those same rubber gloves on all day handling money, food, drinks, wrapping food, putting caps on cups all using the same dirty (infected?) rubber gloves they wear all day long while handling contaminated cash, coins, credit cards, etc.
If managers provided a bucket of alcohol or disinfectant for these workers to dip their hands in to kill germs after handling money, etc. from every customer, and before placing their hands on food containers, drink containers, etc. and in between dealing with each customer, it would be much safer and keep the virus and other germs from spreading. I do not believe any germ would survive the hand dipping in a bucket of alcohol, disinfectant or some other approved germ killing liquid.
If we tell every store manager this idea and if they adopt this idea, it should help to keep us safer from getting germs passed around from tainted money, credit crds, etc. This should be adopted by every store that handles cash, credit cards or anything else passed from customer to worker and worker to customer to keep us all safer. Wearing any mask is good but we all tend to touch our face when we get an itch or feel an insect land upon us and germs love to come into contact with our hands and our hands are great at transferring those germs to our faces and then inside us through our nose, mouth, onto cash, credit cards, coins, etc.
Pass the word around to everyone you know so the word spreads across America and beyone to keep all of us safe and to help suppress the spread of this and any other virus germs. Put this message out to everyone you know in hopes of helping to stop the spread of any germs to keep us all safer.

Recently Visited your Taco Bell in Yadkinville NC. Wow, what a disappointment. 1 – No one at the counter for over 5 minutes. Had to use the kiosk to place the order. You weren’t given a print-out of the receipt. You only wanted either my email address or phone number to text me a receipt? Didn’t fall off the banana boat yesterday, to know why you’re doing that. Wouldn’t provide you with that information for the world. Put a dang printer there since we are doing the work for you! Now the food. HARD SHELL Taco’s COLD & BROKEN. Really, if your justification for having the Kiosk was to make things better you missed the BELL. Maybe you should send some of your managers and employee’s to Chic-fil-A for some real customer service training.

Tonight we visited Taco Bell restaurant located at 12340 State Highway 210, Benson NC,27504. When we entered I noticed there were only 3 other customers dining. It was a mom and her 2 kids. My husband and I ordered and paid for our food. We got our drinks and had a seat to wait for our food. Several cars went through the drive thru and we watched 2 other customers pull in, park, come in and place their order, get their food and leave. We were still waiting. The girl who had taken our order and our money could clearly see that we had not received our food and there was no one preparing our food. I made eye contact with her several times as she and another employee stood behind the counter laughing and talking. Now my husband and I are the only ones in the restaurant and another employee walks out to our table and ask us if we are waiting for something! We said yes and he took our receipt and disappeared behind the counter. 10 minutes later, a female employee (not the one who took our order) brought our dine in meal to our table in a bag. Set it on the table. No I’m sorry for the wait, have a nice day or nothing. Very disappointed in this store. We find ourselves going there once in a while after many bad experiences.Don’t know why! But let me assure you, this was our last visit to this location. The bathrooms were also VERY dirty. The employees seemed to not be concerned at all of the bad customer service.

The cashier responded very rudely, I can’t change your order, they started to make your order and it’s almost ready…she stated this to me with a major attitude.. I then asked her name and to speak to a manager, she told me her name was Maria, based on the receipt that I received, it notes that her name is _ecica M, the first initial is not clear…….
The receipt states it’s order 104687 on 10/23/2019 totaling $28.37
I writing you because you need to be aware their is an individual that that does not represent your Taco Bell franchise, actually this employee has a reputation of not giving optimum customer service..
Lastly, after being so unfairly treated, disrespected and embarrassed I resulted to my calm business approached, I found your business licence and promise myself that I would complain and make my concerns known..

My card only had a little over 16 dollars so I was going to pay the difference in cash when I got to the check out/ main cash register and the manager said my order didn’t go through because I was short 2 dollars and some change. So I went back to see if transaction went through and it did because my balance on card was ….0.00… The morning manager WOULD NOT LET ME PAY THE DIFFERENCE SO I COULD GET MY ORDER AND LEAVE. ALSO REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY FOOD. He wanted to talk to MY BANK. I am on Disability and I have my check put on DIRECT EXPRESS CARD. I TRIED TO CALL S.S OFFICE. Too many callers at the time. Then I asked if he would take the last item off my order and just let me have the rest of my order and he refused. Saying my transaction didn’t go through. The next day I finally got in touch with someone at S.S/Direct Express. They checked my transactions and IT DID GO THROUGH and it also showed where SOMEONE AT THE STORE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO GET THE …2 DOLLARS TO GO THROUGH. So…. The STORE GOT THE 16.46. SO…. Ergo, “I” will NEVER go to ANY Taco Hell ever again. Oh, and they family ahead of me walked in behind me at Burger King now, and wow, they sell tacos now. Huh. How about that? The hard shell taco was AWFUL and crumpled before I could eat it. What the cheese sauce was for I don’t know, so I used it on the awful Nacho fries. HORRIBLE MEAL! I know I wasn’t in a good mood, but a customer should never be talked back to. I don’t give a crap if someone is a good good Christian or not. My son and I just stopped at Taco Bell, Laramie, Wy. We ordered our meal and asked for an order of chips and salsa. I always spread the chips on the tray. You can imagine my surprise when I found your tiny chip bags only contained 8 chips. I went to the counter and asked what they charge for chips – Ans. – $1.49 + 0.09 tax = $1.58. Now if you do the math that is $0.1975 or almost $0.20/chip. We all know that tortilla chips is the least expensive food item you have to buy. So is that a fair market price?
To compare values I crossed the street to your compitition (in Laramie) – Taco Jxxxx and ordered the same thing, nacho chips. They charged me $2.11 (incuding tax) for a bag the size of your to-go bags. It was full with 35 chips and a cup of salsa more than twice as big as the salsa cup at T.B. Doing the math again, Taco Jxxxx is getting $0.06/chip. Still high, but a much fairer price than Taco Bell’s price @ 20 cents/chip! My suggestion….stop cheating your customers on the little things and take a serious look at your pricing structure. Do you really want to loose customers over small inexpensive items like tortilla chips, or do you want to compete? I challenge you to go to any of your compitition and buy chips and salsa. You wpn’t pay anywhere near the 20 cents/chip you are charging. BTW this was not the first time I received the 8 chip bag…it was the third time! Please respond.

Went to the Taco Bell at 205 Eastchester Dr in High Point NC and when the girl handed me my tea through the window I asked her if it was tea. She said yes. All it was is sugar water with a hint of something brown. There was no Tea in this drink. It was something you could see through and wouldn’t be caught dead serving this in a true restaurant. Haven’t been there in some time and no I remember why.

Went to Taco Bell in Harrodsburg Kentucky July 30th about 2:23pm at the drive through, ordered the Grande meal with 8 hard shell Tacos and 2 bean and cheese burritos, along with a 5 layer beef burrito no sour cream and a burrito supreme the total cost was $20.06 drove 13miles home and opened the 2 bags meal came in to our surprise there were 4 bean and cheese burrito’s and 5layer beef and supreme were missing. On Aug. 1st we stopped back at the same Taco Bell went inside and told an employee what happened. She then went into the back came out a minute later and said since we didn’t call in about their screw up or since we had no receipt she couldn’t do anything about it. Now I am 59 years old and even in my younger days I would never have made up a story like this to get anything for free from any business. When I pay for something I order I exspect to get what I paid for. Myself I will never go to Taco Bell again and spend my hard earned money with a business that does not believe a 47year long customer.

This is what happened to me on JULY 26, 2019. I placed an order online like I have done before and had no problem till I went to store to pick it up. I started doing it online because of all the problems we have when we go in to order, Our order would always get pushed to the side so others could be fixed because we have such a big order, we have been ordering from this store for over 5 years, our daughter is a Nurse and works 2nd shift so when she gets off she wants Taco Bell, so we order enough to last a few days then go back to order more, Each trip we spend $40 to $50. and this is at least 2 times a week. Well today the manager said our order was not called in on computer well I had the conformation number but she didn’t want to hear about, She ended up calling the law on us I spoke to the officers and explained to them what had happened and that she got hateful and I got hateful back. Well she lied about everything, Keep in MIND I’m a retired POLICE OFFICER myself she does not know that. Well our country hick officer we have hear sided wit her and said we could not come back on the property, Hey that’s fine with ME. BUT SOMEONE IS GOING TO REFUND OUR $32.59 CHARGE THAT WAS TAKEN OUT, and since I can’t come on the property I’ll just let the Courts handle it, and that means COURT COST that you will pay. This manager is A racist African American female. I have delt with my share of people like her. I even have your other Employees tell me that she is Racist. And I will not let this go I’m tired of the way this country is going. And i’m going to do my part to stop it.
IF I had my way I would see this store closed down. I am not going to let any of this go. I have a list of times I have gone into the store and had to wait and I don’t mean wait for my order I mean wait till they would start making in. Your own District Manager seen it when he was there. I placed to order and all they staff went outside to smoke or whatever and he had to fix my Order. I will be talking with the health department about this store. I have even went in the store and placed my order and then took time to clean up in the sitting area because it was filthy. well that ends today. I will see this store closed and this RACIST lady out of a JOB.
I hope others read this

I went to Taco Bell, 2903 20th Avenue, Valley, AL, this evening. I first went thru the drive thru. The cashier came on the speaker, telling me I had to come in to place my order. When I went in, I told her that I wanted 2 Nacho Bell Grandes, both with extra beef, along with 3 tacos, also each with extra beef. When she totaled everything, and I paid debit, she said she was out of receipt tape Then, I specified that I wanted one of the Nacho Bell Grandes in a separate bag, since it was going to different house. When I got home, ready to eat, instead of Nacho Bell Grande, my order had sauce over fries, NO NACHOs. Same in the place of the other Nacho Bell Grande that I had ordered!!! I took both of them back to Taco Bell, and asked for my money back. Cashier got manager, who gave me $7.90. When I reminded her that I had paid for 2 Nacho Bell Grandes with extra beef, she said that that $7.90 was for two Sauce on Fries. I plan to go to my bank to get the PROOF I paid more. I stated this on our local chat, and several came back with very common complaints!

Would like to know why a beef and Cheese burrito is not on your menu? I was charged for a bean burrito, $1.59. No beans, add beef for additional one scoop,
.85. If I wanted two scoops it was 1.70 extra. So the total for a beef (one scoop) and shredded cheese burrito was $2.44(Which is too expensive) I am sure my grandson is not the only person who just likes beef and cheese for his burrito.

I pulled up to the menu at the drive-thru, and saw a picture of the regular taco. It was jam packed with meat, over half way up the inside of the shell. I asked the guy if that’s what they look like for real. He said that they put in what they are allowed to put in a taco. That didn’t even come close to answering my question. What I’m really trying to say here is this. When you show a picture of a food item, you are advertising that this is what to expect. The manager came and told me that there was nothing more to discuss. I said, “the hell there isn’t”. For saying that, I was refused service. This was the Taco Bell in Monticello, Minnesota. Please tell me why Taco Bell puts up these advertisements, knowing that they are lies. I guess no one has held you accountable for your advertising. I’ve eaten at Taco Bell for most of my life, but I can’t see that happening after the way I was treated. Now, if there wasn’t misleading advertisements right on the menu, this would not have happened. I guess you don’t mind lying to the people that have made you rich. Every misleading advertisement is just another lie. Why would you lie to each and every customer like that? I know the answer. You think the customers are stupid. Well, maybe some are, but not this one. Have you ever heard of “Truth In Advertising”? You aren’t the only ones that do this. They all do it. They too think the customers are stupid. What’s worse, is that none of you care that you lie to us. I guess you are telling us to go eat at Chipotle. Message received, loud and clear. Far better food at Chipotle anyway, and they have larger portions with no false advertising whatsoever. I know you won’t answer this post, because you don’t want to admit anything, but we both know it’s a fact. Just compare any food item with the picture either on the menu, or posters around the restaurant. They are all lies, and your corporation condones all of these lies.

Hello! My name is Jaime Pearson. I went to the taco bell located on Olive St. Scranton, PA. It was a late night snack, I work late nights and this was the closest place that was opened. I ordered a chalupa craving box and the order was so messed up. I got all the wrong food, it was horrible, they gave the people’s food then they just handed me a bag with a bunch of random soft taco’s inside. It was late and I had a long day at work, so I took it came home really angry, I wish they never built a taco bell there. Or they could hire people with common sense.

I went to the Taco Bell on W. Sycamore St. in Kokomo, Indiana on Sunday May 26. There was one person in the dining area and one person waiting on her order. There was one person working the drive-thru and one person filling the orders when the staff is normally 3-4. The drive-thru had at the most 3-4 cars. While I was waiting on my order, the person working the drive-thru/counter went outside for something. While my wife were eating our order 5 people tried to come in to order, but couldn’t get in. It seems and I verified when we left that the counter girl had locked the door to prevent customers from coming inside to only use the drive-thru. They weren’t that busy and they were handling the customers just fine with a slight wait for one’s order. That manager should be fired. She turned 5 potential paying customers away simply because they were short handed. I had NO problem with waiting, but she took her frustrations out on the customers. All of those customers chose NOT to use the drive-thru and just drove away. Is that the way to handle a business that is supposed to serve the public? I think not! They need to staff with people who show up and want to work!

I visited the Taco Bell/KFC in Norfolk, Va in Five Points on Sewells Point Rd on 4/24.
I sat at the speaker for a total of 15 minutes, before the guy even took my order. It then took me 20 minutes to arrive at pick up window. My food was still not ready. The guy working window moved so slow. I watched him as he tried to make my order, which was a 16 pc meal and a Mexican pizza. Well, my pizza came out first and my order wasn’t even ready for about 20 more minutes. This was for a birthday party for my 73 yr old father. Everyone was waiting for me, to come with dinner. I got in line at 8:05 pm, ordered at 8:24 got my food at 8:50 and by the time I spoke to the manager when I finally received my order she didn’t do anything about it. No discount, nothing.

For some reason I continue to go there maybe it’s the free drink. Taco Bell has franchises and then they have corporate stores. They are now doing a TV commercial that is a bait and switch. It’s the dollar on the TV and it’s a dollar 39 at the franchise store. For the people with the too lazy a butt to get out of the car they get served first. They always get served first

I visited a Taco Bell on Samoset in Plymouth,MA. I have not been to a Taco Bell in 15/20 years.. it has always by far been my favorite fast food restaurant.. for all the right reasons!! I have been to TB across the country & found their food consistent. Today I was with a friend whom had never been. I ordered 6 items .. & went directly home (10 minutes away). First I would like to say the young lady at the register was sweet & on the ball after placing the order it went down hill quickly… I knew as soon as I felt the bag it was going to be cold.. but it wasn’t just cold it was old. You used to be able to decifer the cold sour cream from the protein ect.., EVERYTHING was cold, tasteless & barely existant.. on a soft taco with steak an upgrade with cost .. there were a couple of pieces of black chewy something & some old shredded lettuce PERIOD!!! Nothing else.. full disclosure there may have been sour cream in the lettuce it was the binding agent that held the lettuce together.. I paid over $25 which may not be much to some but it is to me & fortunately my friend will not hold my HORRIFIC choice against me.
Are Taco Bells franchises?? If so aren’t they required to meet a standard?? & if they aren’t your managers need to stop by for lunch sometime!!!
Bon Apetit!!

The reason I am contacting you is because the only two locations I have used that card is at the Compton location and One other fast food restaurant. I am not making any accusations at this time but it is being investigated and according to ovc the purchase was made from Compton. As a heads up you guys might want to keep an eye out for further incidents of this nature. I hope it has nothing to do with your organization because I really love going there. Thanks for your time.

Had a ridiculous 30 minute wait inside the Hinesville, GA Taco Bell. Placed the order at 11: 36 am and did not get our order until about 12:10 pm. 2 young ladies making the food were extremely slow and the drive thru seemed to have priority. When I asked how much longer it would take that seemed to upset them and it seemed to take even longer. The lady that came 15 minutes behind us got her order before we did. A manager came in just about 12 noon, gave a male who came in with her a free drink, chit chatted a bit then when I asked for assistance as I decided to get a refund, she then needed to clock in. Our food finally came out at that point. I just left as I was totally disgusted at the lack of customer service or hell just service. I am a firm believer that whatever your job, you should do it to the best of your ability. Taco Bell Hinesville is full of lazy dysfunctional workers. I will not spend my money at this location again. Worst service ever and I’m being kind.

My wife and I were eating lunch at store number 032166 located in Red Bank, South Carolina. The lock on the ladies restroom malfunctioned locking an elderly lady inside. This lady stayed trapped in the restroom for over an hour. While the incident itself is not anyone’s fault, I believe there were several instances of severe lack of judgement by Taco Bell employees.
1) The store manager was not on duty and he had the only key to open the restroom from the outside. This is completely unacceptable. How can someone be in charge in a manager’s absence when they don’t even have access to the key to the restroom?
2) Not one employee from the store asked the lady if she had a medical condition which could have put her life at risk. Maybe some training is in order.
3) The store employees did the best they could in trying to get the door open but without a key, they just wasted time. After 30 minutes of their indecisiveness I decided to call the fire department to help get her out.
4) As the fire department showed up one employee was on the phone with either the store or district manager and that manager wanted the employee to call a lock smith in order to not damage the door.
Is the leadership at Taco Bell really more concerned about damaging a door than the woman had been trapped inside for the better part of an hour? I really hope this is not a reflection of the priorities of all leaders at your company. I believe that the manager who said to call a lock smith does not care enough about his/her customers to be in a leadership role in any business.
I sincerely hope the upper management of your company will look into this and correct the substandard behaviors that were witnessed today. I’m sure the lady who was locked in the restroom will never return.

At Greer, S.C. Store # 031435 this evening at 5:45. Ordered and waited 12 minutes before conversing with other customers who had been waiting as long as 45 minutes and STILL not received their “Fast Food”. Approached counter about a refund which it took another 15 minutes to receive and was accompanied by TONS OF ATTITUDE. Could have been served drinks, chips & salsa, appetizers and main entrees in that amount of time at a “Dine In” Tex-Mex Restaurant. I worked at Taco Bell 20 years ago in High School and we were expected to meet 90 second S.O.S. (Speed Of Service) times or we had Management All Over Us. I guess it’s time to Boycott Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut – At least Pepsi doesn’t own their Sorry Chain anymore. Remember – “A Happy Customer may tell 1 or 2 people. I went to Taco Bell in Ladson, SC (HWY 78 and College Park Road) at lunch time- through the drive-through. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I placed my order. When I got to the window, the drive-through person must have been having a bad – no worries – that happens. But then she asked for my card pin number. I told her that I wasn’t giving my pin number out. She slammed the window closed. A couple of minutes went by and she came back and said “I don’t know what to tell you, it keeps asking for your pin number” absolutely rude to me. I said then you can keep your food. She jerked it out of my hand and through it on the counter behind her and slammed the window closed again. I’ve been going to this particular store for 4 years and never been treated that way. I can guarantee I will not be visiting Taco Bell again. In this day and age of stolen identities and thief, a cashier should know never to ask for a pin number and then get mad when it’s not given to them. I just couldn’t believe how rude she was.

Hello, I recently went to your store on Hammer ln. and I-5 in Stockton Ca.
The young lady in the front who took my order was very kind. After I placed my order I saw the people preparing the food, they were looking at me in a way that made me feel very uncomfortable, as though they did not like me. Perhaps they were just holding on to some sort of Gansta persona, I felt they did not like the color of my skin. I waved to them as they stared at me and they just looked on as if I were trash. I was in fear that they spit in my food and could not bring my self to eat it. I tossed it in the trash in a dumpster at the hotel next door and drove away. I will never go back there again. I am sorry to give you this sad news as I like Taco Bell very much. Thank you for reading this.

I am through with Taco Bell. I placed an online order with the location in Milltown, NJ only to have my order lost and told there was nothing that could be done at the restaurant. Upon speaking my mind and frustration constructively to the manager the manager verbally assaulted me and threatened me because I had to ask three times for management and that annoyed him. He asked to see the order on my smart phone, but proceeded to try to grab my phone out of my hands. He cursed at me and told me I have a bad attitude because I wouldn’t let him hold my phone and he wouldn’t refund anything for me and to go to another Taco Bell. He did this in front of a number of customers who were not getting their orders as the employees were lacking direction from him. The food prep area is filthy the food tastes old and the bathroom is disgusting. This location should either be closed or completely overhauled. The management should be fired as well as the many of the employees.

Well, I am surprised to read some of the negative posts. I have been going to Taco Bell forever and the food is always great and very reasonably priced. I one time, about ten years ago, had a complaint about the workers and the uncleanliness of a restaurant in San Mateo, CA. Ever since then, the workers there are very good and the sitting area is well maintained.
However, I just had a very disturbing experience at Taco Bell 026850, in Millbrae, CA. There was a customer ahead of me waiting. There was no front counter person. After a few minutes another customer came in, and waiting behind me. After a few moments he asked the customer in front of me if he had been waited on? He said no. He also said he had already tried to call for someone, to no avail. He and I both started calling for someone, too, to no avail. I inspect fast food restaurants for insurance companies and banks. I then thought I should see if the worker/workers were OK. I started to walk around the corner of the counter to verify what was. I then saw a worker at the drive through window taking care of a customer. I called out to him a couple of times before he turned around to acknowledge me. I did not see any other workers. This person later identified himself as the manager but, would not give his name. He got mouthy with me and said he was going to call the police. If Taco Bell checks their video cameras, they will observe the lack of professionalism of this manager. My sales receipt is Order Number 264649,(1/18/2019, 4:53 PM. Another worker eventually came to the counter to take our orders. She was very professional and polite. The manager never even thought to say “I’m sorry, we will take care of this” or something to that effect. He needs to be properly taught how to deal with business disruption situations. The woman who took my order was very professional and I was fine when I left with my order. And the burrito I ordered was very good : ) Thank you.

The 2 Taco Bell/KFCs in Midland, Texas are absolutely terrible!! I wanted to order an item on the menu and was told by emoyees they were not sure how to cook it at all. Then I order something else and sit down at a table that smelled like mildew and was warned by another customer that he waited 45 minutes to get 3 burritos. I waited 20 minutes and still my order was not ready. The atmosphere was weird, it was silent in there, no music and several angry customers. I got up and looked where the cooks would be and there was only 2 clueless girls trying to make a taco, I wanted my money back but there was nobody around the register. This was also in the middle of the day. I felt helpless and just walked out. Taco Bells in Midland, TX are pathetic and disgusting, I will never attempt to get food here again.

After tonight I won’t be going back to watervliet Taco Bell any time soon. I’ve never seen someone get treated so poorly by other employees along with getting treated badly myself. When we got there only one younger kid is willing to help EVERYONE and do EVERYTHING while everyone else just stands around doing absolutely nothing. This kid is doing everything like taking out the trash, wiping everything down, taking orders, cleaning up the place and much more by himself while everyone is standing in the back kitchen part doing nothing. Mind you while he’s doing all of this they’re standing back there making fun of him for doing things around the restaurant including the manager that was there at the time. There was a younger lady that came in while we were leaving waiting to get her order placed and they all stood there looking at her and wouldn’t help her she stood there for about 5-10 mins having to wait until the younger kid comes back in to take her order. When we got there to place our order he was a little confused on what to do and asked for help form one of the other ladies that was working and she refused to help him and made fun of him for asking for help. I called the manager and when I was making the complaint he decided to hang up on me and block my number to the point I can’t even call that store anymore from my phone. I’m not one to complain about this shit but when I see this happening this badly there needs to be something done. There is just so much more that went on durning that time. Way too much to list. Won’t be going there for a while.

Well I finally found a Taco Bell where it was to damn cold to eat in comfort. There were eight to ten customers seated around us and many remarked you could hang meat inside. Of course that means very cold. I am a temperature moderate person and personally like cool over warm but this was so cold all windows were totally condensated as to where you couldn’t see outside. I asked two staff persons if they would change the temp and was met with a stare like, are you kidding. I never eat at waffle house any more because I guess they have made a conscious corporate decision to have uncomfortable temperatures in their restaurants. The food was good, staff good, and all things ok except for the unreasonable temp. This restaurant was located in Columbus, Ms and I think the address is 2328 Hwy N. Needless to say no more inside dining at your restaurants and feel like this was an attempt to keep your kitchen help satisfied and to hell with the customer. Enough said, now what will you do with your communication with the manager. Thanks.

It is 1:54 am taco bell closes at 2:00am according to the sign at 1439 w Milwaukee chicago, IL and the store is locked and they are closing. If the store doesn’t close for another 6 minutes why are the front doors locked. Not acceptable. This is a regular practice here.

I just left the taco bell in Decatur, Illinois on Pershing road and I order the chulupa (beef) when I say all they had on it was vegetables tge meat was very scarce all I tasted was bread and vegetables for something as thick as the chulupa bread there should of been enough meat to the ratio of veggies and bread I will NEVER go back to Taco Bell again The Worst Tacos EVER!!!

In cheraw, sc the manager is rude and some of the workers are on drugs while working. When trying to get paperwork or check stubs I keep hitting a brick wall. I don’t recommend this job to anyone. They cut my hours so I was forced to quit and let the ones on drugs keep working.

My wife ordered a STEAK Crunch Wrap at Taco Bell #015902 in Kingman, AZ today. It took almost 20 minutes for the crew to get our order ready and there was only one customer ahead of us. At the register they asked for my name on the order and I told them my name (Rodney). When the order was finally ready, they called out “Randy” so, of course, I did not answer or go up to get my order. After everyone else was served they called for “Randy” again, so I went up to check, realizing that they may have gotten the name wrong. My half of the order was a chicken quesadilla and it was okay. When my wife ate about half of her STEAK Crunch Wrap, she finally got to the meat and found it was CHICKEN not STEAK!! So, I went up to the manager and told him about the screw-up and that I had to pay an extra dollar for the Steak, which we did not receive. All the manager did was stare at me, not say a word, and then retreat back to the kitchen. NOTHING! He never offered to correct the error. Is this the way that Taco Bell treats loyal customers? We eat at Taco Bell several times a month, but we will not be eating at any Taco Bell restaurants in the future. Can’t the food prep people read and get the orders right? This has happened at least 3 times in the last 5 months. Fix it!

Almost impossible to complain about bad food at Taco Bell.
Took quite some time and searching to find this site.
I ordered
1 Nacho Cheese DLT
2 Nachos
3 crunchy Taco
The Nachos were broken into small pieces, greasy and tasted very bad.
Like they had been fried in really rancid grease.
Were not fit to eat. had to throw them out.

I just had the worst experience ever at Taco Bell in San Bernardino California 295 Highland Avenue all the employees were rude on the day of February 8th 2018 around 5:22 p.m. . I don’t appreciate employees calling me a liar I was trying to be cordial I wasn’t blaming anyone then employee comes out tell me I was lying about receiving Fry’s suppose you swore swore up and down that she Gates me and I explained to her maybe put the cheese packs in there but I didn’t have any fries now my order was two fries the dollar one and a burrito. I was about to pull off but my daughter three year old ask me for her fries so I’m going in the bag I’ve moved maybe four feet away from the window I was able to still reach the back to the to the girl in the window but I looked in the bag there was only a burrito and then to cheese sauce and some napkins and I believe one hot sauce. I explained to them I don’t have any fries in here and she took the bag and then one of the girls from the back came out and asked me not even ask me she just told me oh I did it myself I know I put the fries in I don’t know what you did with them and I said excuse me why would I take the fries out she said what people do that I might okay I didn’t I just want what I paid for and I said you or any manager in there is more than welcome to come to my car and search my car for two things at Fry’s but I would not be holding up your life or making a big deal out of $2 worth of food but I do want what I paid for she called me a liar we’re going back and forth and I told her I don’t appreciate them call me a liar or accusing me of taking Fry’s out it was ridiculous and she’s getting really bad attitude with me. So they proceeded to give me my fries something told me to check the bag again I look inside only one order fries in their mind you I order two orders of fries so I went parked my car got out got my daughter out of the car mind you my three year old that was already Restless out of the car to go inside and tell them is this supposed to be two orders of fries in this one bag or is this two orders of fries he the guy at the register tells me it’s only one order and I said okay I asked for my two orders of fries that I paid for back and I still haven’t got it I’m like this girl thinks she’s slick I didn’t have an attitude until you start she’s hard to call me a liar when she start doing that and it started pissing me off and that’s when I start getting an attitude I don’t appreciate how I was treated as a customer and I refuse to go to any Taco Bell I’m sorry but that experience right there just killed it for me for Taco Bell I’m about to tell my friends and my coworkers it was horrible I have never been treated like that ever in my life at a fast food restaurant. They need some retraining or something I don’t know but something needs to be done especially at that particular Branch right there in San Bernardino. Please if it was something I did wrong I would not sit here and write a review on this website or send a review to corporate to have somebody call me back nor would I put a yelp reviews not that serious but when she started calling me a liar and going back and forth me giving me and giving me an attitude that’s when I said that that’s enough.

Ok I live in Seguin tx, only have one t/b and I can see why, just can’t see why they are still alive.Went there this past sunday with my kids, in line, I get to order and the voice comes over the speaker that it will be at LEAST a five to ten minute wait.[Two cars in front of me] I ask why the repy was they have one person on the line……..We left. Wen. is what broke the camel’s back.Go there at four thirty, in line three in front, eight minutes later I finally move to tell order, asked why so long, who ever say they only have two on the line.Ten minutes to five I get to pay, and the lady say’s be right back.really She come back and says I will be with you in a moment, I told her let me pay where the food is, no can do.Finally the lady that give you the food takes my card and says it will in her window.Four minutes later we get the food and she gives me free coupons for a free taco………..which I think maybe 80 cents. Iwill never go there again, mcdonalds is basically right across from t/b and they have two lines.A chicken place and hamburger place. Bottom line if there is a problem, the manager should be there but never is…………..And t/b wants to insult me with a taco

My husband and I were given a Taco Bell gift card last year for Christmas. We have tried twice to use it at the Taco Bell, 1491 Dunn Road, Florissant MO each time being told their computer was not equipped to accept Taco Bell gift cards. How can this be? If Taco Bell sells gift cards they should be able to accept them. I find this highly most unusual and question how Taco Bell can explain such a thing.

I stopped your Biloxi store on Pass Rd , Friday morning and the experience was AWFUL. The blacks in there did not care if I got served or anything. The so called manager with no name tag and her worker, Hollared from the back , what do you want. She had 2 other black boys laying on the counter trying to make a date with her. If this is how you run your storers I will NEVER again go to taco bell again, It was AWFUL, you could tell because I was a white man that I was ignored , that is a racial remark from your Black workers. The mop man had 2 inches of water on the floor at the checkout and di not ask me to watch out or anything. You need to talk to the manager and get name tags and e blacks to respect everyone when they come in the door. It was nasty, I had to wipe the seat off and all that . IT was nasty I will tell everyone I know not to shop the taco bell stores .

My local Taco Bell is in Windsor, Ca. Over a period of 6 months or so it has tumbled down hill. Today I picked up 7 bean burritos, enough to feed 3 for three meals (yeah tight budget) the beans have been watered down so much the burrito felt like it held soup. First bite lost everything out of the back end. After it had cooled it was still soupy, not bean like I know. I was also told management had made a change only one pack of hot sauce per item. GREAT.
Please check this store out, they are not doing you any favors.

Me, My Wife and My Kids go there all the time…and Im seriously Considering to not go to your Restaurant anymore because of this Problem. I do not wish to Subject my Family to this type of thing. Its bad when the cops show up to your job to Arrest you on Drug Charges.
I just cant see how someone can get Arrested for this type of thing and still have a job where they are involved in the Community.
Below are the 2 Links of this Arrest.
You just cant have people in a Management Position getting Arrested at Work for Drug Charges.

I stopped at the Bell located at 2840 W College Ave, Appleton, WI at approximately 9:10 PM last night. I was the third vehicle in line and the first moved almost immediately. I started the stop watch on my phone immediately, because this Bell is notorious for being slow. From the time I started my stop watch until the time I asked to speak to the manager (when I arrived at the window) it was 9 minutes and change. I asked the manager how come it took 9 minutes and was told “it only took 3 something, in an extremely snotty tone”. I was hungry and didn’t feel like arguing with a snot bag, so I asked for my food, paid and left. When I got home I opened my bag of food and the 4 burritos I had received were so small they looked like the old mini tacos from the mini menu that you guys had in the 90s. It was pathetic! Wait 10 minutes, get called a lair and then get 1/3 of what you paid for. I know you guys don’t pay much, but you still deserve someone who knows how to take care of your customers and this location is terrible. If you can’t staff it with quality people then just close it! It will be an inconvenience, but it will be better than what you have currently. SERIOUSLY!

Ok I’m the first one to admit I do tend to get worked up over my grandbabies being wronged. And I deeply apologize if I step on some toes of friends on my Facebook. And if you want to delete me over my thoughts on this oh well. Melodee and her classmates were working on a broadcast project that involved Taco Bell in Piketon. Nothing bad toward the establishment just a class project. Upon arriving they asked permission to do their project and was passed off to several people before being given the corporate number that is over Taco Bell. When they finally got through to the person they needed to talk to they explained what they were needing to do for their project which by no means was being disrespectful to Taco Bell or the franchises ect. The man told them their idea was stupid and don’t involve Taco Bell in it. Well the senior in charge of the project was very polite and hung up and they gathered their equipment and their food they had already purchased (which by the way was for their project) and left. A great bunch of kids yes! A butthole that told them their project was stupid, hell yes he did say that, but you know what there is freedom of speech and I’m using it. The kids ate their Taco Bell and filmed their project in the cafeteria back at school. They handled it with dignity and pride and that is what a Piketon Redstreak is all about. I’m proud of the group of kids involved in this!

I went to a store that is joined with kfc. this is not my first time going that there has been an issue. this store doesn’t understand the meaning of fast food to save there life. I get an hr. lunch break and this location is closest for my place of employment. restaurant # 010001. the way the location is set up once your in the drive thru line there is no getting out till you get to the window. it is impossible. today I sat trapped in the drive thru for 40 min. when I finally got to the window they could see I was upset after I gave them money and asked if I needed anything. yes I was upset something that should have taken 10 minutes tops had taken most of my lunch period and left me 10 min to get back to work without being late. the only thing they do is say sorry they are short staffed yet there is always 6 people in clear view of the drive thru most of them standing and not doing anything. I am seriously losing hope in taco bell at this point. I have worked for the establishment and when I worked there it was about speed and efficiency. drive thru times were not supposed to be higher than 40 seconds. we were kept moving…. is it the new generation causing this problem or is the franchise just really going that far down hill? 40 min in a fast-food drive thru should never be acceptable. highly disappointed. I know I will no longer come to this establishment for lunch. not worth losing my job for being late and being unable to exit the location….

My husband and I patronized a Manassas, VA Taco Bell, we placed our order and received our cups for drinks. I wanted tea which was behind the counter, I stood for seven minutes or more before I was able to get someone’s attention. Several team members would look at me and never bother to ask if I needed something, while another team member was texting on her (think was the manager) phone (and even looked at me standing at the counter). Afterwards, we received our food and as my husband was eating his he realized what he ordered was not what he received. This is extremely poor customer service.

For years I have been a loyal Taco Bell addict, literally a daily visitor. I have always noticed that my local Taco Bell was slightly higher in cost than advertised on TV. For instance, $5 meals have been $5.50 and that’s not too bad. However, On my most recent visit, the double chalupa box advertised on TV for $5 is $6 at my local Taco Bell, that is 20% above the advertised price. As well, the beefy potatorito is advertised as $1, but my Taco Bell is selling the for $1.39, an increase of 39% above the advertisement. I know 39 cents doesn’t sound like much but the percentage says a lot. If a car was advertised for $20,000 and when you went to buy it the tag said$27,800 would you buy it….. I doubt it! I understand costs of shipping product to stores goes up the further the store is from a distributing center, but that cost should not be passed on solely to the customer. These prices that are well above what Taco Bell is advertising and deems appropriate have me seriousnessly doubting my allegiance to my favorite restaurant. I hope in the future Taco Bell will rethink its cost cutting efforts or the way it is deceivingly advertising prices to its customers. I have tried using the direct store email, but it will not allow me to submit.it keeps telling me to enter a proper time even though I am. I am just trying to voice a concern and I had to hunt this site down. Maybe make it a tad easier to reach you guys in the future as well. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I stopped at the drive-thru at Taco Bell on 7/21/17 to order a party pack of 12 tacos. When I got to the window to pay the bill was $15.35. The board said that they were $11.99. So I went inside to see why they charged me $2.00 more for the tacos and they said that the price had gone up but they haven’t received the new updates from the corporate store yet. I think this is deceiving the public and I thought they would refund me the difference but they said they were sorry. I think this is false advertisement. The meat that they put in the tacos is very little and they are charging $2.00 more. This store is located on Cason Lane in Murfreesboro, TN. 37128. I would like to hear from the corporate headquarters about this situation.

Taco Bell at 10701 Dixie Highway in Louisville, Kentucky has had their sprinkler system running non-stop for FIVE consecutive days. There is no telling how many thousands of gallons of water have been wasted, running down into the sewer system. 30 minutes ago, I stopped and spoke to the Taco Bell manager, asking about why the water had been allowed to run. At first she said she didn’t know how to turn it off then she said it wasn’t her problem, that is was the property management company’s problem and she didn’t know how to contact them. I told her that the phone number is on the LARGE sign on the corner of property – right next to one of the running sprinkler heads. She just turned and walked off. I called the property company and left a message. This is ridiculous. Taco Bell is certainly not being a good citizen of the community. If that’s the best they can do, WE as good citizens shouldn’t support them, either.

Taco bell on sunset Dr. In waukesha,wi is where I placed an online order. I received only half my order. I called and spoke with the manager Chris. He said he knew they missed one thing then I named the rest that wasn’t in my bag. He said come down and we will have it ready for u. So I did. Not only was it not ready it was never made. I stood there 20 mins while someone was suposedly making the food. One of the girl workers came to the counter and asked what I was waiting so long for. I told her that Chris was supposed to have my order ready. They knew nothing. I had to repeat what was missed a few times. Finally after about 35 mins I was handed a bag with chips at the bottom (not in their own bag) and 2 of the other things I ordered. Then I got second bag with the remaining items. I got home and the double chulupas where not raw, but not cooked very well. The whole time Chris sat back there and didn’t even care. Those poor kids were doing the best they could. They need a manager.

Very meager, stingy, miserly portions. I finally discussed with a manager, and she said the employees are required to use very specific scoop portions of everything. The bean burritos are so tiny they could pass for cheese roll ups. The burrito supremes are smaller than bean burritos should be. There seems to be no limit to the ridiculous lengths they go to, to hand out such skimpy portions. It must be an art form for them to see how tiny they can possibly make the items without the customers complaining and making them re-make it or get their money back. They probably lose more money dealing with customer complaints than they make up for being total scrooges.

My daughter is a 16 year old part time employee for Taco Bell – Leonardwood Drive – Frankfort, KY. Has always shown up, worked thru breaks when others haven’t shown up, never late, etc. – All around good employee and I have been told this by previous managers. Last week Tayler was diagnosed with a very serious kidney infection. She was taken to the hospital, has been on antibiotics and very sick. I have called Taco Bell, Frankfort and kept them aware of the situation and they we weren’t sure when Tayler could return. On Monday another manger, Britany, manager calls Tayler, leaves a message that she is late for her shift. I return the call to Brittany to once again tell her of the situation and she informs me that Tayler will still be written up????? Really? Why? Because she’s late. My daughter is still sick and is returning to the doctor again today. My daughter also stopped by there yesterday to drop off the doctors notes and check the schedule and Brittany would talk to her and Tayler has been removed from the schedule, completely, as if she’s been fired. Tayler called back into Taco Bell and Brittany couldn’t talk to her and was told that she need to contact Brittany today because she wants to talk to her. Tayler should not be written up bc Brittany is on a power trip. Brittany is the manager of “one” taco bell store, not all of them. I think Brittany needs to be talked to and informed of how to treat employees that actually show up and do their job.

Went to Taco Bell at 602 Hwy #31 S. Hartselle, Alabama today, Friday, April 7, 2017. Ordered 2 enchiritos and some tacos. They handed the bag out the window and I sat it on my passenger side seat. Got home started to pick up the bag and noticed the sauce all over the passenger side seat. Picked up the bag and everything fell out of the bottom, not only in my seat, but all over me as well…shoes, sweater, pants, purse…This is a 2015 Silverado with cloth seats. I called back to the store and the manager, Kelly, said well I’m sorry. There is nothing we can do about it except replace your order. I told her I didn’t want my order replaced, I wanted my truck seat cleaned and my sweater, that has to be dry-cleaned, cleaned. She said I’m sorry, we won’t be able to do that. I told her that it would be nice if they put enchiritos, and other items, that have lids, in a plastic bag , seeing that they apparently don’t know how to completely close the lids on anything. She said I’m sorry mam, but we only have paper bags. I told her that they needed to ask corporate for plastic bags. This is the second time this week that I have got enchiritos there, and the second time this week that the lids were not completely closed. Thank goodness the first time, the bag only had sauce all in the bottom of the bag, and broke when I started to sat it down on my table. Right now I am very upset. Headquarters, GET YOUR STORES PLASTIC BAGS TO USE WHEN BAGGING ITEMS WITH LIDS!!!!!!! CUSTOMERS do not buy their enchiritos until they get PLASTIC BAGS!!! Hartselle, Alabama store, train your employees to properly close the lids on lidded items, and CLEAN MY TRUCK SEATS and my SWEATER!!!!! Tried to call corporate office, CEO-Greg Creed, CFO-Patrick Grismer, COO-Roger Eaton….To know avail. They only work until 1:00pm on Fridays. HOWEVER, they will hear from me Monday morning.

I told them, they had no idea what I was saying. everyone there seemed hig and even asked for the manager who didn’t not come to the front for 20 minutes, until finally I said I wanted my money back, at that point he was force to come up, his OVERIDE password didn’t work, he said he didn’t know why Corrine’s password wasn’t working…why didn’t he have his own password. This manager is 100% irresponsible and did not train ANY of the employees. To make it worst, he didn’t even acknowledge me while I was there. He needs training. Also, the health department may need to come investigate the OPEN CEILING with exposed airconsitioning that leaks OPENLY with a Yellow bucket being left in the counter area for the past 3 months. The Ardmore Oklahoma store is getting to be the worst store my friends n I have ate. The food was cold and 1 lady told me she ordered and got home and was mold on her food. it was too late to go back. Employees standing around and talking or on cell phones instead of taking care of business. Another lady told me she been there several times and it took 45 minutes to get her order with only 2 people in lobby. Said the lobby was dirty everytime she been there and she was going to turn it in to health dept. Just for your information I have worked in resturant type business for 40 years and this store is bad

My husband and I are truck drivers (well I just ride shot gun and do the paperwork) and our route every other week is from California (home) to Northlake, Il. We ran across this Taco Bell over a year ago and were immediately impressed with the cleanliness and over all appearance of this Taco Bell/Pizza Hut restaurant. The customer service was prompt and very friendly, the food was served up quickly, looked good, was fresh and very tasty! We came back the next morning for breakfast and received the same excellent service and yummy breakfast meal. Since our first initial visit over a year ago we have had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Raymond and its apparent his employees and restaurant is an overall reflection of him! He is genuine and has trained his employees in the same professional friendly manner, which is why many of them stick around! Not only has Raymond but his employees too have taken the time to get to know us! The service and food is always exceptional and every other week when we are in Northlake we make sure to patronize this Taco Bell/Pizza Hut @ 51 W North Ave., Northlake, Il 60164.

I would like to let Taco Bell know that they have lost a valued customer that has been a customer for years. My recent experience at the Ozark,MO location was ruined by only getting 1 sauce packet for 3 items I called the restaurant and the manager was not helpful at all she stated the sauce policy was to give one packet of sauce per two items, and that this was a corporate policy. I called the corporate office and was sent a five dollar coupon that excluded combos, Grande meals, box meals, and taco 12 packs. I talked to the district manager a very nice gentleman who is sending me more coupons that don’t exclude the items mention above. I told him that was fine but I was disappointed in the corporate office’s response to my issue. When I called back to the customer service department a week after the incident to tell the customer service department about my problems I felt that they responded was poor at best. The customer service representative was willing to have the district manager call me. I informed the customer service representative that I just got off the phone with him. The customer service representative seemed to not worried about the problem and asked me what I would like to have happen. I told him that he had lost a customer. If taco bell wants to keep it’s guest coming back then it needs to be more worried about how they deal with problems then saving a few dollars. I will be happy to talk with anyone from the corporate office about this, but I think they are too worried about their bottom line.

You have just remodeled the former Taco Bell/KFC in Hartford City, IN. The only problem is that the foods such as the crunch wrap are grilled and they always come out tasting burned. Apparently, they never put anything on the grill such as butter. They are dry on the outside and burned. Now that KFC is not part of the restaurant, I probably won’t go there. Don’t care for the burned flavor on the items that are grilled (or put in a steamer)

Just want to say I’m really disappointed in the management in taco bell I grew up with managers and supervisor training new employees but I guess that’s not the case now cuz the managers in Elko Nevada thinks that they should teach themselves and when they get it wrong then they get three days suspension or get fire and no one wants to teach them anything that is not right and I’m being nice. All the managers in Elko should be fired and get new ones cuz all they think about is themselves. They should just take taco bell out of here with the management, and they should never be manager ever anywhere else.

I visited Taco Bell location at 7910 Rogers Ave. Fort Smith, AR less than an hour ago to buy my daughter some lunch. She chose to order the quesarito box you have advertised to get a chance to win the PlayStation 4 Bundle. I realize that these contest are very difficult to win but I wanted to allow her to try her luck. When I arrived home I immediately signed up on your website to enter the code on the box. To my surprise, I received a red pop up window that said “LOOKS LIKE THE CODE YOU ENTERED IS NOT VALID OR HAS ALREADY BEEN USED”. I thought I entered the code wrong so I then tried to enter the code several other times and still received the same red pop up. After that I used the “TEXT YOUR CODE” method to 25552 thinking that there may be some kind of glitch in the system, but I, AGAIN, received the same message. At this point I was very disturbed and frustrated. I feel that if a company is going to have a contest that it should at least be FAIR. I’m not sure if a employee or other person at this Taco Bell location had already used the code on the box I purchased or there was some sort of other issue but I do believe this is very unprofessional and I don’t feel that we received a fair chance to win. I’m hoping that you could make things right somehow and maybe look into this situation so that others won’t feel cheated as well. I feel I have been a valued customer of taco bell for as long as I can remember and I have never had any complaints until now. The order number on my receipt is 341701 and the code on my box is 3AXEWX6P6XC. I have taken pictures of the box, the receipt, as well screen shots of the messages I received when trying to enter the code. I can attach them in an email if requested.
Thank you for your time,
Sarah Haynes

I went to take my kids and Mother-in-law to eat at Taco Bell (020511 ) @ 141 Linda Ann Avenue, Gray, Louisiana. There were 4 others waiting in line, I thought they were waiting on food. The people in back taking orders were rude and the ones fixing the food looked like the were just mad. We ordered 4 taco’s only meat and cheese because my kids cannot have greens, and a nacho supreme no sour cream. We get our order and ALL of it was wrong. When I went to the counter to tell them it was all wrong, 3 of the workers laughed and told me I’ve got my moneys worth why can’t we just be happy with what they made for us. So I then said if that is how it is, here is the food I did not order and you can give me my money back. They got mad and the manager said she was getting tired of messing with people like us. The people that was waiting was Not waiting on the food they also was waiting on their money back….. I DO NOT want no coupons of anything from Taco Bell I think the company needs to train the workers to fix the food right and to treat the costumers better…….

If I was anyone in Cicero IL, I would NOT got to that Taco Bell…they have roaches! I walked in, to the counter, and seen them crawling on things behind the counter, and the floor in front. I walked right back out. I don’t know how that place is still open!

After viewing your “Grilled Stuft Taco” commercial during the NBA playoffs, I have decided not to share my cash with your company. The commercial sends a terrible message that sharing is bad. What was your marketing staff thinking?? You have lost this customer.

The store in Alabaster, AL has stopped providing bags for any salads purchased thru the drive through. This means I have to manage the salad, napkins, fork, and receipt all individually in the car and at my final destination. The window clerk said this is a decision by the manager.
I had to bring my own Walmart plastic bag this time!

Elderly couple commercial is extremely poor taste and incredibly offensive to a woman.I will never step foot back inside a taco bell and the commercial should be removed.
Cynthia says
The elderly couple commercial is in poor taste and should be removed. Are you so hard up to sell tacos?

I thought I was seeing things when the Taco Bell commercial appeared on TV with the woman pulling up her shirt. What the company was thinking by demonstrating such poor judgement, one only knows. Children are still awake when it is being shown but even as an adult, I find it to be in extremely poor taste and incredibly offensive. I hope people will teach their children that we don’t patronize restaurant chains who stoop to such off-color humor in a pathetic, desperate attempt to elicit customers.
Janice M Covey says
I just saw the Taco Bell commercial that shows an older couple eating their food. The woman flashes the man. I find this ad to be in bad taste especially that young children as well as teens will see it. I feel you should pull it. I won’t be purchasing anything from taco bell again.
Victoria Larson says
I, too, think the Taco Bell commercial with the old lady lifting up her shirt is in bad taste. I’ll just make my own tacos. They taste better anyway.

My son was employed by the Taco Bell in Christiansburg, VA. He has been sick this past week with norovirus- throwing up- and today, he was fired for calling out and being without a doctor’s note. Because what? He was supposed to go to the doctor to conjure a medical bill for which he cannot pay? How hey bout that employer sponsored health insurance? Said no minimum wage worker EVER. I just wonder, was he supposed to come in there and serve that food, puke on the rest of the employees to prove he was sick? Nice. That’s a health department violation that WILL be addressed. In fact, he got sick from being in there, he thought he had food poisoning, which did not surprise any of us because, well, Taco Bell. Now everybody else is sick. You want sick employees in there serving your already below standard food? It’s your lawsuit baby.

My husband and I visited the location in Olathe KS off of Blackbob and 119th…..When doing so my husband walked inside to place our order and I waited outside parked directly outside of the door. As my husband was inside a worker walked outside and stood directly in front of the door (less than a foot from the door itself) which the customers use and lit up a cigarette. I watched a couple walk out and seemed frustrated as well because they had to walk through the smoke in order to leave the building. My husband also had to walk through the smoke in order to leave with our food……we do not judge anyone for smoking; however, we choose not to smoke and we prefer to not smell as though we do. It’s not sanitary and it makes we me question his professional ethics…..I can only hope that when he finished he went in and washed his hands before serving food since he didn’t have enough professionalism to walk away from the building to have a cigarette on his break. We have visited that location many times since we live locally; however, we will definitely think twice before doing that again.

On Saturday Jan. 31 2015 store 028493 I went there around 10:30pm and the boy taking orders was VERY RUDE kept cutting me off while I was placing my order. I even told the manager on duty and he just had a XXXXy grin on his face and just shrugged it off like it was nothing. Then to top it all off my order was wrong and I live 30 min away so it is not like I could just go back. That is something I will not do is GO BACK TO THAT STORE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I went to Taco Bell #022578 (3520 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY) tonight and had the absolute worst experience EVER!. First, I attempted to go through the drive-thru and set 10minutes with about 5 cars in front of me without moving so I got out of line and decided to go inside to order. I placed my order quickly/paid cash at 6:47 and received my order at 7:22pm. I, along with the other customers were very upset. 30+mins for fast food? They said they were short staffed but the staff were goofing around and working so slowly. I actually videotaped it to show why there was such frustration regarding this situation (which is available if you wanna see). My niece at home wanted tacos and I didn’t want to come home empty handed so I waited rather patiently or else after 15mins I would have asked for a refund and went somewhere else.
When I got home my order was messed up, and the 2 Mexican pizzas hadn’t even been cooked. My nieces tacos were suppose to have no lettuce so we had to take off the lettuce which in turn removed the cheese; therefore we remade her taco with cheese from my house.
After waiting 30+ minutes and arriving home with a wrong order and cold food I was furious. My sister took the cold uncooked Mexican pizzas back and asked to refund all the money for the incorrect cold order and 30+ minute wait, which I believe should have been refunded to begin with. The young gentleman “in charge” refused to refund all the money and gave back $6.76 from a $30+ order. He refused to give contact information regarding making a complaint. He was very unprofessional and as witnessed on the video, his work ethic was horrible. Why would he ever be in charge?
I strongly believe management is unaware that this is going on and needs to be notified before they lose a lot of business.
I rarely eat fast food but when I do its always Taco Bell, however I will not be going back to Taco Bell at this location and maybe never. This has put a terrible taste in my mouth.
I would strongly encourage checking into this situation

I visited the Taco Bell in Uniontown, PA today, 12/3/14. While waiting for my food a girl came in and asked to see one of the workers, her brother as I found out later. She said it was a family emergency and he walked out the door with her but not clocking out. Another customer and her friend just received their to go order and was leaving. As they went out the door this girl knocked the food from her hands knocking her to the ground. The boy came back in to work. The girl attacked went called her mother who came and called the police. My main complaint is that during all this and my vehicle being right there where everything was happening I never once saw the manager come out from the back. This was something happening in and immediately outside of the business. A customer could have been hurt but luckily was not there at that time. This I feel is poor management. I hope you will check into this restaurant.

October 4,2014 went to the taco bell on oldredwood dr in Rohnert park California. so very slow. It took 25 min to get tacos. Problem was they did not seem to care. they helped all the drive thru people and not the dinning room customers all they could say was they are sorry they are short handed. We will get are food when its ready . But still see car after car get there food and leave . The. manger is a poor excuse for a manger when all he dose is set on the phone and dose not get up to help until a lot of us compained. Something needs to be done about this store. They have no business running a dinning room and drive thru if they can not handle it. this is not the first time this has happen every time we seem to complain nothing changes. Please do not pass up this message. If I ran my business this. way I would not be here anymore

It is very imperative for me that corporate is aware of your image here, so much so that I will never, ever patronize a taco bell in seneca or clemson, s.c. because I understand it’s the same franchiser. Unfortunately at the seneca location where the incident happened, why does the franchiser allow an inept, unbusiness-like and a very incompetent person (ashley) to work in his franchise. Unbeknownst to me that I would encounter an experience so reprehensible and unbelievable to say the least in this 21st century it should not be. Essentially I called the restaurant because of the non- service at the drive-thru, ashley the so-called manager or so she say, was so hateful when I called the restaurant to retrieve the area supervisor’s name. Ultimately she had the audacity to hang up the phone. Overall I hope that this is not taco bell’s practice.I work an 80 hour week for a fortune 500 company, and I donot appreciate being disrespected when I require nothing less than the utmost respect. This faux-pas and uncouth attitude needs to be addressed. Please remind this franchiser regarding customer service, and who keeps franchisers in business.

I just got the worst service from Taco Bell in Montegeneral San Isidro, Costa Rica.
Usually take the family here to play in mall and we all eat Tacos etc.
Karla (working today 7/31/2014)
Really rude, picked nose and did not clean hand. Then denied me a refill on a drink…. Really? I have been eating Taco Bell for 25 years, never had this issue.
I will never take my family there again. My nephew is calling in Taco Booger.
Jessica was always great service kind fast, etc. But Karla killed it for all of us, my aunt wants to post an article in TicoTimes about this. (booger server)
Just thought you should know, Karla will turn away more clients then us.

So my daughter and I went in to taco bell #020554 in Livermore, ca located at 6005 Preston ave. Was very upset to only order 2 loaded potato GRILLERS and some nachos. Also purchased two drinks. We’ll I should have never even came in here. To begin with they filled the drink order for the customer that was after me so I had to go and ask for my drinks, then I had to go ask for my food order because they were filling everyone else’s and had completely skipped over our order. Really!! I ordered my food at 4:00 pm and didn’t get my food until 4:32pm. Wow! If that’s what you call fast food then you have issues. I can make a whole meal at home in the same amount of time. Service was very slow and workers were rude! Won’t be going back there again!
