    Yes, a place owned by LDS members but still think it’s ok to lend with interest. The bible strictly forbids such actions. BACKSLIDDEN! Beyond on that, just plain predatory. The Lord knows what you are doing Jim and Ryan.

    The # to call to complain is 1-866-992-4821 (it will be passed on to Corporate if now ask an attorney or other to find the CEO’s name and number).

    Had a HORRIBLE first time experience with them (Check City).
    The girl at the window by the name of SAM refused to assist me and falsified information about Western Union that I cannot split my money to send two different days for different amounts. It was for a family emergency and she didn’t even care but wanted to tell me what she wanted. Besides the fact that she was TOTALLY UN-professional, rude, and on top of it called me a “liar” about what I was stating about me making 2 transactions! It was like she was prejudiced and discriminating against me and made it sound like it was HER money! Then the supervisor BERN comes up and apologizes for SAM’s ugly demeanor and for calling me a liar..yet Bern did not do her job either by looking it up herself instead sided with Sam and refused to assist me. Well, if that is the way you train your staff you will NOT be getting good results or reviews Bern (Branch Manager).
    I went to another WU location and I called WU customer service and they told me the information I received from this clerk SAM was totally false. That in other countries they can put a LIMIT of funds transferred due to situations in that country and I can make more than one transaction a day if I so wish! So, not only was I given FALSE information, I was told HOW to do my transaction or otherwise not assisted! I will be contacting corporate for Check City as well as WU and filing a formal complaint for falsifying information and NOT paying attention to what this SAM was told by WU..the rules in the USA are different from what goes on in other countries-YES other countries CAN put a money transfer limit if they so want. The Max amount you can send overseas is $50 to $7,500 BUT they can limit WHAT amount they will accept. This SAM tried to tell me I have to send ALL the money today/now or otherwise I cannot send money on two different days …WOW I am totally appalled by these people and their UGLY and UNPROFESSIONAL conduct and demeanor towards people and calling them liars -like THEY were the ones who were sending out the money-WTH? They need to fire some staff from this location and I will make sure Corporate knows about this and let them deal with their UGLY staff as I will make sure SAM learns her lesson on how to conduct herself in customer service. and SHAME on the Supervisor who did not let me finish my transaction for a family emergency…I will NEVER use CHECK CITY in a time of need whatsoever-my first experience with them was AWFUL!

    I have been a long time customer for over 10 years. Whenever I was having trouble paying my loan, I always called Customer Service to make payment arrangements.
    I would like to know why you categorize the agreement as a ” Charge- off” and then notify “Tele-Check” after an agreement is made? I attempted to do a transaction at my bank today (5/11/17) and got denied because I was listed on Tele-Check as defaulting on a loan from you. Then to top it off, I have to wait 72 hours after the bill is paid for them to release my status. Is this how you treat your LOYAL long time customers? I have paid EVERY loan I have borrowed with you guys. I NEVER ignored you or dodged your phone calls.
    I am very very disappointed in the way I was treated.
    I am deeply thinking about whether to continue my business with your company.

    I’m sorry to have read nothing but COMPLAINTS about Check City, but I have a EXCELLENT comment to make about my experience. I was told from a co worker that check city does free money orders…FREE? You don’t hear that often! I went to the SW (s. Fort Apache) location to get money orders for my rent and the employee then told me they do taxes. I then went back to do my taxes with Kayla Bhadra…I have never seen such great customer service ever! Kayla was not who my appt was set with the next day, there was a miscommunication with the prior employee. Kayla was there when I went for my appt, realized there was a mistake with whom was to do my taxes but bottom line is…Kayla Bhadra took very good care of me! I got a phone call from prior employee that made a mistake on my appointment date, I then went in and did my final taxes, Kayla was there, she apologized for the mix up, her Mgr gave me an extra discount for my troubles& I was very impressed! Kayla called me the same day to tell me my advance tax check was ready for pick up!! I’m in the middle of moving so that extra advance from my refund is a huge help!!! I need someone in corporate to perhaps have Kayla train others on customer service if all these complaints I see about check city is correct. I can’t speak for others but my experience was awesome…check city was there for my needs& Kayla B. made everything so pleasant for me, can’t thank you enough for having such great customer service at your SW location!!! Thank you Kayla Bhadra and Check City!

    Just got a call the other day from a group called the alliance. They said i owe 400 dollars which me cole told me that i did. I said i have no idea what ur talking about bc i only took out one loan which my dad went in with me and paid it off. Then he said from 418 he could drop it too 300 even. How can u short pay something if there’s already amount for? Then i call back te next day and talk to a roger who ignored and told me everything. He then asked for my address. Well no duh i have no idea about this or who took it out etc bc they couldn’t send me info in the mail. Then i talked to dan who was flat out rude and everything then said i owe 418 and not 300 even. So its really fishy to me. So how can i pay it if i had no idea i even owed it

    Sir, I’ve been a customer for over 7 years or more and since that time I’ve Never Experienced Absolute Rudeness from an Employee like I experienced with Martha! First, I’ll provide a little background information. I paid off Loans N20-3151508 and N20-3143131 on 8/20/14. As of today 9/2/14, I’ve yet to receive my Title which is totally unacceptable! I contacted your Customer Service “Martha” to ask why I had not received the title and she proceeded to inform me “Customer Service” had an incorrect phone contact so they could not contact me which again is Unacceptable! I’m required to update my contact information constantly and there is No Reason “Customer Service” could not contact the Craig Road Branch to retrieve my correct Contact Number! Instead, Your “Customer Service Representative “Martha” Did ABSOLUTLY NOTHING! In my phone conversation with “Martha,” I explained that I sold the vehicle and I’ve been waiting for the title to be mailed. I further explained that I needed the title to close/complete the sales process. I asked when will I receive the title, “Martha” replied Thursday or Friday to which I replied “UNACCEPTABLE!” I then asked if I could come by tomorrow to pick-up the title to which she replied NO! I asked if there is a Supervisor/Manager that I could speak with, that when “Martha” became Extremely Rude and hung up the phone. Now! I ask You Mr. Marchesi, is that the sort of “Customer Service” Check City is known for? I’ll drop by your 6382 W. Lake Mead office tomorrow to see if I can retrieve my title in order to complete my business transaction without further delay.

    Check city condones drunk people at work. Do not go to check city at wigwam and eastern. They really pieces of crap. The lady Samantha will just laugh in your face when you make a complaint.
