4 Wheel Parts Executives

CEO: Greg Adler
CFO: Rich Botello
COO: Patrick Dorr

George Adler and his father in law, began a very small business in 1961, selling 4 wheel drive parts, mainly for Jeep customers, out of his house. Their $5,000 investment paid off when they were able to open two brick and mortar locations in 1976, along with selling parts from a mail-order catalog.

George Adler’s son, Greg, now works as CEO.

By 1982, the company had 5 retail locations. In 1988, the company expanded vertically by manufacturing some of its own parts, under the brand name Pro Comp. The Pro Comp name is now one of the biggest selling brands of 4 wheel drive components.

In 1999, the company again made inroads by becoming one of the first 4 wheel drive parts companies to offer items using an online site.

In 2016, Polaris, Inc., acquired 4 Wheel Parts for an estimated $665 million.

In January 2020, a group of Utah doctors sued the company, stating that 4 Wheel Parts was working against the Clean Air Act by selling “defeat devices” which rendered air pollution controls on vehicles useless.

4 Wheel Parts still maintains its corporate office in Compton, California.

Absolute joke 4wheelparts is the worst, i ordered tires over a month ago, there customer service is almost impossible to get a hold of and when i finally reached them i got the run around one lie after another. I reached out to Interco tire, there response was the tires that you are looking for have been shipping out for weeks but unfortunately we no longer deal with 4wheelparts and they can’t give me any info. So even manufactures have stopped dealing with 4wheelparts. So now I’m in a real bind, these tire are on a remote access company truck that is also used for emergency response and being in the north east under heavy flooding we had to pull our services!!!
This sales rep is a total joke keeps lying briand@ 4wp.com

By far the WORST customer service in the off-road industry. Getting a hold of someone at customer support takes over 2 hours and they never responded to emails. And forget about going to one of there locations they are always understaffed and you will wait forever. There are much better places to send your money with much better customer support. I will NEVER purchase from 4WP again!!!

I’m very frustrated with 4WP customer service at the store and corporate office. I called the store multiple times and was told the manager would call me back Still waiting for a resolution for my problem with my purchase after 4 weeks.
I called customer service in Compton. I couldn’t get through to a live person so I left 2 messages.
I also wrote a letter to customer service 2 weeks ago and have had no response.
My problem started 8/6/2022 when I bought and paid for a X20 Gen 3 winch, Warn winch mount and installation (scheduled for 8/16). They called and told me the combo would not fit my Rubicon. Said I needed an XRC bumper. I went to the store to look at the bumper and said OK to install it.
On 8/18 I went to pick up my Jeep. They had switched the X20 10000lb for XRC 9500lb without telling me.
    Still waiting on 9/19/2022.

I ordered a TIRE….one single TIRE on 7-7-21 and ive been on hold for up to 90 minutes!!!!! Finally get someone and all they can do is give me a world of run around! I just want my money back! I’m tired of calling and being lied to. I would not refer this company to anyone and they should have to answer for what they have done and are still doing to people like me. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well…after years of satisfaction I am very dissatisfied. I placed an order on 3/5/21 for an Addictive Desert Design chase rack and after 18 weeks have not received it for install. We were originally told we would receive them in 8-12 weeks. I’ve called store #58 several times between week 12-16 and was told that I shouldn’t expect the item until the 1st week of July and they would call me when it arrived. It is now Friday, July 9th and I can’t help but feel that something is wrong. I called Addictive Desert Designs directly yesterday and they say that they haven’t had anything more than 8 weeks out for some time. Something is going on and after spending thousands of dollars with 4×4 I would like to have some help moving things along. Thanks in advance for your help. Jeff

I am a very dissatisfied customer. My husband and I place an order on 4/20/21 and have not received our wheels and tires. We were originally told we would receive them in a week and a half. I called last Wednesday and told they would ship at the end of the week and we would have them this week. I called again today and now they will not be shipped till next week. The customer service manager was very unprofessional and stated that he would just cancel my order if I was not happy….over $3000 order and could not give an exact date for shipping or receiving. Manager also stated that I just did not understand the shipping from manufacturers process. I completely understand the process but have been told multiple different things. I am very unhappy with this experience. I have ordered many times with this company and this has been a very unprofessional experience. I was on hold for an hour and I half with no resolution.

Wow! I too am experiencing a couple problems with my parts order. Missing 1 part. Damaged Hi lift jack an called to only be told by automated system for customer service that there are 34 calls ahead of me!!!!! Sounds like 4 wheel parts should either give good service after the sale or close up its unprofessional shop for good !!!
