Milio’s Sandwiches was founded in 1989 by current owner and CEO Mike Liautaud, originally called Big Mike’s Super Subs, in Madison, Wisconsin. The company operates a chain of franchised sandwich shops.
Currently, the company has 50 locations across the US. Liautaud is the cousin of Jimmy John Liautaud, founder of Jimmy John’s restaurants. The focus of the company is mostly sandwiches and fast delivery. In addition to restaurant service, the company also offers catering. The name was changed in order to allow franchising, as well as owning a website name. Liautaud has stated that a minimum of 30% of his sales come from internet orders.
Milio’s Sandwiches employs approximately 400 persons full time. The company has won several awards, including Madison’s Magazine Best in 2005, as well as for the company’s involvement in the community. Liautaud has plans to open 12 stores in the Minneapolis area in 2016.

Mr. Mike Liautaud,
I have been loyal customer for 3 yrs. I am employee with Widen Enterprises for the
last 5 years. Our staff here at Widen always orders from Milio’s.
Today I placed an order for soup that is all I wanted I was told that you do not
deliver soup that I must have a minimum amount. Never in my time ordering from you
all in the last 3 years have I never been told that!! I was told by your Manager at the
Rimrock store I think his name was Rick. That he would let it slide this time. But never
again. I think you might have lost a customer some days I just can not eat a sandwich all i want is soup. My co workers will be very upset when I tell them now can no longer order just soup!
Every Thursday Widen Enterprises used to always order sandwiches from your establishment
then something went wrong with a fee. We really miss that luxury as well.
I hope you can fix this matter and let us order just One item if that is all we want. be able to order makes some smile when they are working.
