In 2002 3M acquired AiT Advanced Information Technology Corp, for $37.4 million in cash.
Today 3M produces more than 55,000 products, including adhesives, abrasives, laminates, dental products, electronic materials, electronic circuits, car-care products, and optical films.

I am a lecturer at the University of the West Indies (which ranks among the top 5% of universities globally). I am in the process of completing what will be my 7th book due for publication in 2021. This book is on “Leadership Reimagination”. In the book I discuss aspects 3M’s powerful story to illustrate qualities of effective, inclusive, and re-imaginative leadership.
