I have been a loyal customer for many years. Just learned they closed. Been trying to find out who would honor my gift card I received from Xmas. Called the corporate office of course the number is disconnected. Really Wet Seal this is how you treat people!!! If anyone knows the sister store or who would honor my gift card I would greatly appreciate it.

Wet seal should be completely shut down, boycotted, and I will be blasting them over social media to the tremendous amount of followers I have. They accuse people of stealing even after they purchase $100+ worth of the crap they sell. Then the manager/employee stalks those they accuse. It was proven they did not steal. Then they proceeded to tell other people/security/customers that a particular person stole. There are so many charges that can be brought against this company. They have no idea what Customer service is and they make paying customers feel like they have no business being in the store. Thank god for social media, wet seal will be blasted for their incompetence, lack of knowledge of the law, defamation, and stalking. Absolutely ridiculous. They have no idea how to function in a service industry. THEY ARE A SERVICE.

ILeft repeated messages for Exec Asst Shannon & CEO Melanie Cox. Ignored. Finally got call back from Christine, the exact same person who was beyond rude and dismissive re her subordinate who repeatedly LIED to me, wasting my time & energy as a disabled person. Was promised numerous times a 15% discount on order. Made it larger so discount was worth it. Wasn’t able to get online promised written discount which had been sent due to extremely fine print at the bottom I could not see.
Was about to give up on Wet Seal permanently. ALL recent orders I had been sent ALL WRINKLED clothing that obviously had been worn, were NOT in bags, nor folded. TOO disabled & sick too return clothing. Wanted slippers so tried ONE more time. HOURS of hassle as problems entering address. Told Customer Service Agent this was their very last chance. That’s when I was offered the 15% discount. So I increased the order. Very time consuming & difficult to read info with magnifying glass over the phone. Then was told NOT given 15% discount. Supervisor Christine BLEW ME OFF. I am FURIOUS. As I said I should have returned 90% if the previous clothing I was sent that was wrinkled, not folded, and not in bags, and obviously had been worn, I did NOT. I should now morally tell everyone on the internet, in 100 reviews, the truth of how Wet Seal treats customers who spend $$$ and hours and hours of time only to be called back by the very same RUDE person.

I was under the impression you hired at least high school educated people especially in your management areas. South shore Mall in Massachusetts has a very rude ignorant assistant manager who does not have a high school education and treats her customers very immaturely!! I don’t like seeing people who lied to get their job try to make other people feel small.

I very pissed at your customer service department! I placed a order on line 12/20/16 in which I paid for 2 day shipping! It was suppose to arrive 12/22 or 12/23! I tracked my package with FedEx and they stated you all never sent the order to their department for delivery! I am highly disappointed due to majority of my Christmas items were included in this package! My teenager will wake up to nothing because of you! Ive tried calling your customer service department but you are closed for the holidays on a Friday! Christmas is Sunday! I bet your having a very merry Christmas in which my Christmas is ruined!

Wet Seal website failure to bad customer service.
Wet seal was having a 3 day flash sale of 40% the entire site ending September 26 @11:59pm. I got an email September 26 @7:24pm saying the sale was about to end. I put 23 items (coming out to around $200-$250 with the coupon, $400-$450 full price) in my online cart around 8pm and tried to check out. The site would not go to the check out screen, I tried to check out for over an hour and a half. I have work in the morning so I tried again in the morning for some reason, still nothing, then, after 10 minutes it FINALLY takes me to the checkout screen JUST to tell me that the promo code is now expired. Frustrated, I contact customer service via email telling them the story I just told and my story was ignored – I was just told that the coupon expired before I tried to check out. When I RETOLD them that I tried to check out as soon as I got the email saying the sale was ending that night I also asked if the promo ended before the email was even sent (because I couldn’t use it at all after I got the email stating that the sale ended that night) and all I got back from customer service was “That is correct.” I then asked why wet seal would send out that email if the sale was already over and the representative made me forward the email to them, so I did. SO AFTER ALL THAT, with them finally understanding what happened (that the site malfunctioned while the sale was still going on) – all they could say is that as of right now the promotion has ended and so they can no longer honor it. So me now wasting my time and sanity I couldn’t at least get a promo code or something made SO I COULD STILL MAKE MY PURCHASE since I was unable to, still trying to be a customer after all that drama, you now would like to lose business from a long time loyal customer*. That’s a shame when you can’t do something for a customer when your online site is at fault.
*I loyally shop at wet seal because good quality, affordable plus size clothes are hard to find; so every time I shop (in store and online) my purchases are always between $100-$300.

On Saturday July 2 someone got a hold of my card information and drained my account and the 2 biggest transaction came from this company please I did not make this transaction and I want them cancelled and removed from my credit card right away

I was in the opry mills mall at wet seal in Nashville, Tn . The workers were very rude behind the register. Was wanting to purchase 3 pants but needed to try them on. It was only 8:30 pm and the girl at the register told me they were closed that she just mopped the floor in the dressing room . They close at 9:00 on a Saturday. I don’t believe the workers their are doing your company good rejecting customers the pleasure of trying on the clothes to make sure the size is right. I was wanting the 3 pants and they were each $30 plus. Over $100 for 3 pants. Very disappointed in the service and respect they showed
