I desperately need a call first thing Monday morning. I’m one month from rolling over to long term. I have been harassed by my claim agent Kendra for the last two months.. You have 2 years of evidence and current as well. Everyone knows I’m not going back to work anywhere ever again so why the games. Just approve me for 6 weeks and then I start long term. I’ve applied for SSDI 2 months ago and my internist, counselor and oh yes my attorney have said there is no way to deny my claim it’s a 100% lock based on my mental and physical condition. It’s not something they deny.. they can’t as long as I have a paper trail. I need help for literally 4 months and I go to SSDI and I’m out of your life. Thank you Kevin Hagan. You have all the evidence you need. I’m no longer going to be bullied. You can fix this or my attorney who has asked twice will take over and I already know I’ll win that too. My attorney has all paperwork and emails. The case is a slam dunk. Harassing days are over. I have 3 former co workers joining my lawsuit and I’ll be placing ads online to see how many victims there are. Please review my mental health issues. I get on something I never stop ever. Fix it or we do it the hard way. A Judge will bury you with my medical records. Extend me till long term kicks in. If not we’ll do it in court. Kendra’s work has her in a lot of trouble. This is what happens with a mental health patient combined with multiple physical injuries. I am extremely volatile with panic attacks…. I tried calling 2 numbers, 866-679-3054 and 800-331-1538, regarding an earlier call. Neither number rings. When I called in early November to say that my bank had merged with Ameris Bank and my checking account would have a new routing number I was told a form would be emailed to me to make the change. I have not received that email. If you want to call me my number is 404-371-0746. Don’t text. My long term care policy number is LAC675804.

I opened a $10,000 Life Insurance Policy through a group at work in 1998. The payments were automatically withdrawn from my paycheck. In 2006 the company went bankrupt. In the mix up my policy lapsed. I had it reinstated in 2005. The insurance company would not insure me for $10,000 but offered me a smaller policy for $6,519.00. I continued to pay the premiums and in Sept. 2018 Unum asked me to send in a lump sum of $249.00 and increased my premiums to $54.00 per month. Now in Oct. 2019 they sent me another letter asking me to send it $264.59 and raising my premiums to $65.00 a month. They sent me a projection that shows that as long as I live my premiums will continue to increase. When I called to find out why this is happening they told me that I have a “Flexible” Policy. This is the first time I have ever heard of that. NO ONE TOLD ME when I reinstated the policy that my premiums would increase yearly. They allowed me to pay the premiums yearly for 14 years and now spring this on me. THIS IS CONSUMER FRAUD in the first degree. After numerous phone calls and complaints I have gotten no where. One of the representatives told me on the phone that I had once had a “LEVEL” Policy but it is now a level policy. I also learned that their records are incorrect as the stated that I once had a $2000.00 Policy that was opened and closed in 2010. I have no knowledge of this at all. I am retired and on a fixed income and can never handle all of those increases on such a very small policy. I am appealing to someone in Authority from this organization to help me from losing this policy that I have been paying for for nearly 17 years.

I am having a horrible experience with UNUM FMLA. Trying to tend to my sick parent across the country and having the wrong leave paperwork attached to the wrong claim and being denied for the wrong time period, no call back by my leave specialist. Very unprofessional!!!!!

I am having a horrible experience with unum. I thought the company is there when you need them but that is not the case. I have not worked for 3 months and claim still pending. I have been with unum for 10 years and cannot believe this.

I have been waiting 2 months for a determination on my Short Term Disability Claim. All the doXXXXentation has been received by the insurance company. Why do I have to fight for something I am deserving of. I live paycheck to paycheck and even with savings to cover some expenses, this has caused a major hardship for me.
I bet the Co. doesn’t wait for their premiums. Gee Unum proudly boasts how much income is brought in but I only saw 2 satisfied customers under the Unum reviews!! What a joke. claim number 14855761- I want to know why the customer service people think they know more than my doctor. My doctor said to return to work 7/16 but Keilor at Unum felt that I should return 7/13 and shorted my check those 4 days. Per my work they wanted a return to work slip and per my doctor return to work slip was for 7/16. I have used my disability before thru you company before but this last time was the worst of my life it seemed I had to call and fight to get my money. My check was held up for three week could you just imagine going 3 week with no money . This experience has just been horrible. Can someone please check into this and email me.
