A message for Corporate Office: Your Sunday ad (4/5) includes an offer for online shopping, either pick-up or delivery, which led me to believe the program was functional. However, now, on Wednesday, there are no times available for pickup or delivery AT ALL. As a newbie to this experience, I looked for help in completing an order. No one at the store (Orchard Park) or your headquarters has enough knowledge of the Instacart system to give me some simple help navigating the system. That is very poor planning and seems to demonstrate a complete indifference to customer service.

On Saturday, October 26th, I went into the AUBURN Tops to pick up the fried chicken that was advertised in the weekly flier. It was between 1 & 1:30 in the afternoon. When I went to the carousel, where the chicken is usually displayed, it was empty. I went over to the carry out cafe to inquire if they had more chicken, I was informed that they “were working on a big order” and they could not get me any chicken for at least an hour … possibly more. I then talked to the store manager, she acted as if me stopping her from putting up the front display, was a huge inconvenience. I explained the situation and pointed out the chicken was advertised and how I was not the only person inquiring about the chicken . She told me that if that’s what I was told there was nothing she could do. Well … apparently she was interested in customer service so I will not be shopping at Tops again … I will be heading to Wegmans … where they do pride themselves on customer service !!!!!!

I’m sure no one cares, but I’ m going to vent anyway.

Your store in Waterloo, N.Y. is so bad I don’t know where to start. They won’t get the front door fixed on the left side of building, half the time it doesn’t work at all or it only opens partially. .On top of that the store is dirty, mainly the floor. The product I ‘m looking for is either not there or there is only I left when I am looking for 4.. The pricing is outrageous. There is absolutely no customer service. You have a Manager that can hardly walk when called on for price check and has to walk to find the product. I am so tired of shopping there, I am considering going to Wal Mart which is the only other choice, ofcourse you probably don’ t care. The parking lot has tank traps for pot holes also.. .

I worked for tops marketers in Rome N.Y. I was hired as part time but within weeks was hired full time as asst. Dairy Frozen manager because of my performance. I have over 20 years of experience. No slacking I worked hard. Shortly after that the manager gave her two week notice for personal reasons. I then was considered acting manager with no help. Two weeks later a new manager was hired for that position that already held two other management positions. That manager as of the first day in the department kept ordering me around like I was nothing. So i gave my two week notice because i didn’t want to butt heads in a power struggle. I didnt want to leave but felt I was forced by the new manager out. Larry the store manager has a problem with men. But women on the other hand hold most of the higher positions. How is this fair? You can ask anyone that works there about my work performance. It wasn’t right to force me out.

I have been purchasing the 6 pack 24 ounce bottles of diet coke for years. Have always looked forward to you buy 2 get 3 (or 4) free sales. Now you are no longer carrying the 24 ounce 6 packs and have dropped to a 16.9 ounce 6 pack. Still have the sales going on BUT after losing all those ounces (works out to about 42 ounces) you are STILL CHARGING THE SAME PRICE!! Really TOPS?? do you think this is fair?? less product, lower price – right? NOT AT TOPS!!! Very disappointed. (i do realize that coca cola has changed the bottle size, but lets ADJUST THE PRICE according). NOT a very happy customer!!

On Friday February 24 at 7:07 pm I called Tops #207 Robinson Rd to order a fish fry. I was told sorry I am not able to take your order we are closing. 10 min later I walked into the store passed by the cafe and the young gentleman working there was standing around talking to his friends. I called the manager from my car who told me the cafe serves fish frys til 8pm. Very dissaponted. I can see why business has decreased at that location.

Tried to use your web site (push a button) GENERAL COMMENT to share/help with a idea to better your store. Neither button worked, and contact on top of page did nothing to connect to site. Maybe this is part of the problem.

My idea was: pick up in car orders of over $ amount. I, as many, don’t like to or have time to grocery shop and this is a idea that is coming soon. WalMart is already advertising and having you signup on wait list for your area. I get all my meat at Tops and all there sale items every, but I seldom buy regular priced items (too expensive) eg McCromick Dill Seed Tops price over $4 vs WalMart $2.29 how can you justify a $2 mark up? I can’t afford to shop in your store but if I had curb side service I may rethink time vs money.

For what its worth I would much rather support my local merchant in Canastota, NY than WalMart in Oneida, NY (a 3 mile trip). I could do that if prices were somewhat comparable. I don’t mind a few cents but can’t afford a few dollars.

    Very truly, Jude

    Mr. Frank Curci

I have to tell you how disgusted I am with your out rages prices. I can give you many examples, but 1 is enough. Why is it your company feels the need to charge .39 cent for 1 pkg of Kool Aid when other stores sells them for .20cents. Is it because you have gold in yours. Why is it you have the rudest employees and managers in Dansville. They say you are out of line when you are upset about standing in line for over 20 mins because the one person ahead of you is doing 10 wick cks and you don’t realize it till it’s to late. Now you watch everyone in the store cash out and your still standing there. All your stuff is already on the belt and there is people behind you. So now they say I’ll help the next person, and you can’t get out of line. So you are stuck there. Why does the cashier laugh at you when you say it’s not right that they hold you up and don’t say any thing. And she continues to laugh at you, Hayley was her name. I would have been happy to go to another line and then when you complain to the manager and she doesn’t like it, she says don’t come back in this store again. I will make a complaint to the BBB. I hope your day will be as pleasant as mine was after my experience with your Friendly tops market. that has to be the worst store I’ve ever been in.
