Why is it so hard to find a bag of tootsie rolls? I am looking for just a bag of tootsie rolls and can’t seem to find any.

At this point, I would simply like to alert your headquarters that the promised 1-3 day shipping & cool packs/any packing material through World Pantry is not always adhered to, even when you choose to buy the minimum to get that promised shipping. My latest order took 5 shipping days (Fed Ex ships/delivers on Saturdays so Sat included in days). So ordered Wednesday – arrived Wednesday. An order I placed Wednesday late said it was shipping on a Thursday and would arrive in 1 to 3 days. However my shipping tracking showed it would never arrive until the next Wednesday. Which it did. I ordered approx $160 in product – which was packed well for a change and is rare I will say! However it was in over 90 degree heat for several days. To top it off, when I do opt to speak to World Pantry by phone the older gentleman as well as other people have said “We do not ship after Wednesdays until the following Monday in the hot summer months to avoid hot truck stays over weekends; please note in the gift line that your area is hot and the temp as well, as we will include cold packs.” which pleased me. I said “then I do not have to worry about what day i place the order, good.” I followed instructions to a T. Two different orders have shipped on a Thursday and one more even on a Friday. Odd. Many times my product this summer has come in an empty box – in other words not one ounce of packing material or cold packs!…so my candy was cracked and some pieces busted or melted/stuck to wrappers ?. When I call in, they say we’ll do it right this time and resend it….the EXACT SAME WAY…no cold packs and no packing BUT they seem to get it to me in the 3 days. Odd again. Why can reps get it to me on time if complaint but my normal phone orders or my internet orders just take however long? I love Tootsie Roll products, to me it is a shame World Pantry is allowed to handle their product as they just don’t seem to care which is evident in how they are not friendly at all. ?
