The Hawaiian Gardens Casino, known mostly as The Gardens Casino, was founded in 1993 by Irving Moskowitz, M.D. Moskowitz had already been running a bingo parlor when he decided to build a gaming casino in a suburb of Los Angeles.
The original “casino” was nothing more than a tent and thick carpets. Today, the casino has 225 card tables, a full service restaurant, A VIP lounge, as well as meeting or multi-purpose rooms.
