Roaman’s was acquired by FullBeauty Brands, Inc. in 1982. The company still offers plus-size women’s fashion but has added shoes, handbags, and other accessories to their lineup.
FullBeauty Brands also owns other clothing and housewares brands including KingSize, Jessica London, Brylane Home, One Stop Plus, Woman Within, and most recently, the company acquired Catherines in 2020.
The popular television show “The 1,000 lb Sisters” featured on the TLC channel used Roaman’s clothing to dress Tammy and Amy Slaton.
Fullbeauty Brands has sought to support the Body Positive Movement in promoting messaging that runs contrary to the trend of using extremely skinny fashion models.
