The company is family owned and operated by Wilkins, his brothers, and their children. There are currently 7 locations throughout the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, Alabama, area. The company specializes in making their tacos fresh once they are ordered, using fresh ingredients, which are brought to the store each day. In addition to beef tacos, the company also offers chicken tacos, soft tacos, nachos, burritos, as well as a “Chili” salad and taco burger.
Taco Casa also sells tumblers, hats, gift cards, and Koozies for cup, all with the Taco Casa logo.

I stopped to grab a bite at your location in Arlington, Texas (Little Road) and ordered a soft taco, bean burrito and a small cup of water.
I was charged .69 for the cup of water. I will not support your restaurants.

My husband and I went in to Taco Casa on Monday evening 07/12/21 @ 6:51pm. There was one lady in there we remember waiting on her order so she was taking care of.
We go to counter ask a questions about the menu and the front counter girl didn’t know the answer so she had to ask the cook people (which they barely seemed to answer her question.) We order what we wanted which our receipt number was AC298J78AEA8, and you can see it was NOTHING that would take very long at all. We got done ordering and walks in a black man and he orders and I happen to hear his order was over 23 dollars or so ……so clearly he ordered way more than we did. We were all waiting on our food when all the sudden they call the black man’s name to come get his order….my husband and I looked at each other like what the heck?? The black man clearly looks at us and had this look on his face like yea I got my order first!!!!
We still waited for a few more minutes before our order was even ready and all we order was tacos and enchila. THIS WAS CLEARLY DONE ON PURPOSE! ALL BLACK EMPLOYESS BEHIND THE COUNTER AND SERVES THE BLACK MAN FIRST!!!! I plan on calling the news channel over this and they can test their own theory on this Taco Casa. I WILL NEVER EAT AT ANOTHER ONE AGAIN!!!!! THIS STORE HAS VERY BAD REVIEWS and I will be putting this all on my social media. This kind of behavior is what continues the mess we have in our country!! You need to review the cameras in that store…..lord knows there was plenty there!!!

I worked for the Decatur Tx Taco Casa for a brief time. The management was biased and rude. Didn’t care about the employers personal lives or personal emergency’s. (A family member was throwing up blood) and I was basically told if I had left to go tend to an emergency then I “shouldn’t bother ever coming back”. My shift had ended. I was working extra because they asked me too. I was attempting to be a great employee by staying when I wasn’t required to. We were even slow that night literally there was two maybe three managers on that could have taken over drive through. On top of all of this harassment. I was told i couldn’t get my check unless I physically went up there which I couldn’t do because I was caring for an urgent matter that ended up causing me to move abruptly and there was no way to travel back to that town to stop by for my check. It’s been three months since…. still not paid.

I ordered food for my husband and I and also with it, I got a gallon of sweet tea. When I got home I reached down to grab the bag that held my sweet tea and the entire bag was full of tea. My entire floorboard was covered in tea including the carpet that was under the mat and I have electronics to my car under where the bag was. I proceeded to remove the bag and take it out onto the driveway and see what had happened, as I was looking over the container I noticed that the twist top to the gallon was not on all the way. I decided to take out my phone and capture me physically twisting the top ALL THE WAY DOWN till I heard the click from the top being put into place. Which means that the employee of the plano store did not put the top on all the way and caused the bag to empty out and all over my floor board carpet by the time I got home.
I called the store immediately and asked for the manager where I was given to a guy named Seth, who told me he would refund my tea and ‘tell his general manager what happened. Nothing else has happened and no call from the general manager was made to me to let me know what they are going to do to really fix this problem. Let’s face it, an employee from that store was not paying attention and did not properly secure the twist lid into place on the tea and now has cause the entire contents to be spilled out on my car carpet and on to an area that holds an electronic panel. And all I get is a refund and a “you can come in and get a free gallon of tea”…….NOPE, not gonna fly…..should at least have my car detailed! If something happens and my car catches on fire or stops working, because of your employees lack of attention to what they are doing and not securing a twist top, my lawyer will be involved.
Please let me know what is going to be happening and how you are going to be fixing this problem!

Went to the casa in cleburne, Texas. I am definitely not happy, they don’t give you what you paid for and they talk over you at the intercom. Will definitely not spend my money there anymore.

I use Taco Casa at Duke’s Travel Center, Canton, Tx. at least once a week. In the past two weeks, all the tacos have had stale taco shells. After talking to Preston Mgr. He told me if taco shells stay under heat lamp too long they go stale. Funny, this hasn’t happened before since they opened. This store can do better. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I sometimes eat there more than once a day. I’m the type that would show up on Christmas if y’all were open. The past month or so though, the hot sauce has changed. I’m sure you will deny this. But now it taste like ketchup and vinegar. Something is wrong at the source as I have tried 4 different taco casas. Lake worth. White settlement. Camp Bowie and benbrook. Excuse my language but the hot sauce that I’ve loved for years now tastes like sh*t.. please fix it to the way it was before. Every time I come I always taste the hot sauce before I buy and still to this day taste like garbage. The food is still great but I can’t eat it without good hot sauce. But now it’s ruined. Do not ignore. Or you will lose a lot of business as you already have.

I receive emails and text messages with your specials. The email I got today was for the $.59 Tostadas. There are 3 adults in our household so I went to one of the local stores to me #60 on Little Rd in Arlington, Tx.. I went inside to order 7 tostadas for me and my family and was told the limit is 5. I told them that there is nothing in the email stating there is a limit and the manager said that the General Manager said there is a limit of 5. Most places state a limit when there is one. Then I ordered one of the Casa Delights and paid for it. When I got out to the car I looked through the bags and no Casa Delights. Took them back in and the manager came back up and said that they don’t have any and put a refund back on my card for that and it should be back on my card in 2-3 business days. Why didn’t the employee know that or mention that to me? If I hadn’t of looked in that bag and noticed they weren’t in there, I would have been ripped off. I have had issues with this store more than once. Considering not going to Taco Casa anymore because of the problems I’ve had. The last thing is that the tostada shell tasted stale and had a greasy taste in my mouth. Worst tostadas ever.

I went to one of your locations today and they completely screwed up my order. I called back to tell them as soon as I got to work and saw that my order was wrong. I spoke to a manager who was extremely rude to me and said if I didn’t have the receipt and the food “untouched” that I would not be getting a replacement or refund. I told her that I had already bitten into one and the other gentleman I got food for had done the same and we realized they were not even close to what we ordered. I was then told not to come up there because they will not be doing anything for us since we already bit into our food. I’m am completely disgusted with the customer service this manager has and will NEVER go back to that location, and will be telling everyone I know about the way I was treated. I know $10 may not seem like a lot to some people but it is to me and I’m now out that money and food. Not sure what y’all can do for me but I saved the receipt and would like something to be done about this. Please return an email to me and let me know or to get any further info on your location. Thank you.

I work for the taco casa located in Mineral Wells, Texas and I’m ashamed to say I work for some of the biggest bigots and some of the most hateful racist I have ever encountered in the workplace. Recently I spoke to my general manager about some occurring issues that’s been troubling me and obviously some customers. Since then my hours have been cut to either 45 mins A DAY to 2 hours or a 4 hour span when before I would work a full 7 to 8 hours a day. Feeling like I’m being forced out for my morals and my ethical rights and spiritual beliefs. I strive to stand strong against ignorance. These are not only regular employees but general managers, shift leaders(black shirts) I’m being forced to reckon with each day and somewhat stand my ground on. There’s not a day that passes that I’m not forced to deal with the backlash from reporting the racism that not only I have encountered but also so many customers as well. Recently I’ve been coming into work with my schedule being changed with no acknowledgement of the change and also have been dealing with the threats of being written up for rather being late or not showing up at all when I take precautions when the schedule is first made and photograph on my phone the original schedule that is made for my work week which is made two weeks at a time.NOTE:( management is the only one that can change times and schedules) Its the elephant in the room everyone knows is there but refuses to reckon with and because I just happen to be black African American woman I get the brunt of the backlash for all the customers with ethnic backgrounds who feel the same discrimination as I do when they visit our restaurant. Complaints such as: employees handling food with out wearing gloves touching their hair or scratching their face then handling the food. restaurant being dirty not maintained properly in a sanitary manner. My hopes of this is for me to be able to keep the job I applied for without having to deal with such ignorance on a daily basis and that something might change for the better for the customers sake and the franchise.
Thank You, to whom it may concern

I went to the Taco Casa in Rhome, Texas to get a take-out order. I ordered a spicy bean burrito, two Super Tacos, a tostada and a regular taco. I got home and found I did not have the regular taco, though, according to my receipt, I had been charged for it. The Super Tacos also did not have any tomatoes on them at all. This is not the first time I’ve gotten tomato-less Super Tacos there (actually, about the fifth time). I just feel the service there leaves a lot to be desired. I drive throughout the DFW metroplex and go to Taco Casas in Denton, Lewisville and Irving. I’ve never had a problem with any of them, just the one in Rhome. I hope you can do something about this.

My family and I went to taco casa tonight on Wilshire Blvd., in Burleson, Texas. went through the drive thru, and sat there for 45 MINUTES, AND still had Not REACHED the speaker to take our order. We ended up leaving and went down to fastaco, where we were in and out with in 5 to 7 minutes. I will no longer go to your restaurant…. That is ridiculous , to keep people waiting That long. Why are Y ‘all soo SLOW… there is simply no reason for that…. this is not the first time, I’ve had to wait, but it was the Longest time…. Y’ALL NEED TO FIX THAT… I WILL BE LETTING YOUR CORPORATE HEADQUATER KNOW EXACTLY THE SAME THING. >: (

At first your half and half tea was the best. Now when I get it home I don’t know what I will have. I shouldn’t have to go back and buy another gallon of unsweetened or sweet to mix them together. It happens to often.

My wife had lunch at your location on Hebron Pkwy in Lewisvllle, Tx. today.
We went back to the counter to get refills for our drinks. A young man, with limited abilities, greeted us and asked how he could help. We handed him our drink containers and told him what we wanted. He had a smile on his face and in his voice and said he would be glad to help. He refilled our drinks and said to be sure and come back and see him………..WE WIILL.
This young man just needed someone to show they cared and give him a chance. Congratulations to your management; it says a lot about your culture that you give people a chance.
thank you,

I walked up to taco casa in grapevine ordered super nachos and walked home. When I got home there was no cheese for the nachos. I tried calling the store but the number listed I believe is a cell number. The voice mail said all employees were busy please leave name and number and we will call you back. That was Friday here it is Monday and nothing. Yes I called it about five times and left several messages the last one saying I would walk back up there (not that I should have to) but decided not to. I guess they never tried to find out what happened and I’m not that important as a customer. Well if something isn’t done then I’ll never be back to any taco casa

Yesterday, June 29, 2017 I went to Taco Casa in Lewisville Texas on Hebron Rd. I placed my order and drove to the window to pay. I have been here many times and remembered the employee’s are very unfriendly but the one yesterday was beyond that. She said nothing when I handed her my debit car and of course no smile to be seen. I asked if I could have enough hot sauce for two people and she still didn’t say a word. As she handed me the bag I came right out and asked her if she was supposed to say Thank You or Come Back Soon and she just closed the window without a word. I don’t have a clue why they are all so rude but they need a class on customer service!! Lastly, when I opened the bag the napkins she gave me were all wadded up and looked like they were previously used. I took pictures but there is no place to post here. I like the food, even though it’s a lot more expensive than most fast food places, but with that kind of service I can do without it. By the way, this happened at 7:00 pm and I was the only car in line at that time.

On the day of 5/9/17 approximately 5pm in Mansfield, TX. I proceed to my nearest Taco Casa Franchise on 3260 E. Broad Street, TX 76063. I go through the drive-through and asked the drive through attendant for 3 hard shell tacos and if she would add sour cream and tomatoes also a large sweet tea with light ice. She then rang in my Total ( not to mention I had no knowledge of additional charges for sour cream and tomatoes) and my Total comes out to be $8.12. Considering the fact that I am there on taco Tuesday, I noticed the price different to be steeper than usual. I didn’t ask the woman be drastic changes on the price Because I know at that particular franchise, 3 Tacos were $0.99 cents a piece and a large Sweet Tea any size is $0.99 cents. I had already calculated my meal to be a little over $4 dollars including tax. The young woman proceeds to tell me that we have to charge additionally for sour cream and tomato, I agreed a pulled around to the window to cash out. I Hand the young woman my debit card and she checks me out . I ask her the reasoning behind the $4 dollar charge of the tomato and sour cream she tells me ” it’s our policy ma’am” and I agreed and left. I put my car in park so that I could speak to the manger in charge simply because I was curious. I ended up pulling back around the drive-through because I noticed there weren’t any cars in the line at the time. I was then greeted with the manager and I proceed to ask her the questions about the $4
charge up of the added tomatoes and sour cream to my taco, she then lets me know that it is in fact $0.60 cents per taco for tomato and $0.60 for a squirt of sour cream per taco. I thought that was a very steep considering the fact that my meal was the same price as The extra added items to my taco, she asked me if I would like to speak to the manager above her and I agreed letting all the young women I encountered that day know that I was not angry or being mean I about the situation, but I was curious to know before they all proceeded to speak with me. The hiring manager walks over to the window and I can tell that she had a attitude. I proceed to ask the same questions as I asked the other two women about the additional charges, the woman says to me right off that bat ” Because that’s our policy” i let her know I understood everything but $4 is a bit pricy. She tells me ” you’re are the first person to complain about this” I said ” no ma’am I am not complaining I’m just asking about the system”. I ask the woman” how come the grocery store charges you $1.99 for 4 tomatoes and sour cream a couple of dollars? She tell me “if you don’t like what we do here feel free to cutt your own up at home” I said ma’am I came here though, you would actually want to me to that ? She proceeds to tell me “if you don’t like it you can go somewhere else”. At this point I cannot believe someone is speaking to me in such a nasty manner and nasty tone, she was literally rolling her eyes at everything I said and shrugged. I was nothing but kind to them all. She also tells me ” if you don’t like it you can try chick-fil-a and ask for lettuce and I guarantee they will charge you for a head of lettuce. I said ” I’m not buying from them I’m buying from here and just would like to understand”, she says ” if you want to start up your own business wouldn’t you over charge your customers for an item so that you can make your profit back? It’s the same thing” so not only did this woman insult me she insulted my Intelligence, she suggested that I go elsewhere after Ive been a paying customer. I let her know then that I was going to call corporate because I did not like the way that she was speaking to me in the tone of the manner that she carried me in And I let her know that she had been very rude to me during our conversation. The look she had on her face show that she did not care or she had been in this position before with zero repercussions. She proceeds to tell me if I were to call corporate on her not only would they do not do anything about it she would then “handle me
” herself. I asked her multiple times if it was corporate or the franchise owner allowing for the store to overcharge people excessively And she said it was the cooperate office. I called cooperate and they told me it was indeed the franchise, so the woman told me a story. She continued to talk to me very rudely and mocked me and I asked her how come she seemed to not care about anything I’m telling her as a concerned customer? She shrugged. My experience here was completely concerning and I really made me not even want to go back be treated so poorly. They offered me zero solutions about everything as well and I work in the restaurant industry.
