I am a owner of 3 different business. I love to play video poker machines in the casino. I don’t want to withdraw my money from my bank account to play, so my wife knows I went into the casino. That’s why I went into Rapids Cash for the loan. I am always paying it back early and on time. This will be my last loan with this company. I have been with Rapids Cash for years. They don’t give respect to their loyal clients. When I went into take out the loan. I give them my driver license and my bank debit card, they still make me to say my address, my phone numbers, and my date of birth. I am staying right in front of them, they get my license. What is the purpose for me to give them my driver license and my bank card, if I have to tell them again my info? The manager and their employees knows who’s I am, and I know who they are when I go in. I also have a active loan while I am trying to get another loan with them. I have to go through this much of trouble every time I need a loan or making a payment, I can give my business somewhere else where I get treated right. They should know their regular clients just like their regular customers know them. Since I am a owner with 3 different business, I don’t like that I have to tell them my address, my phone number, my date of birth every time I came in to make a payment or get a new loan while they have my ID and my bank card. I don’t like other people around me know my info and know what company I own. I am just another customers they don’t care about I will be back or not. Just remember you not the only company out there. It’s hard to build a regular clients and it’s easy to lose one when they walk out.

On 9/2/2018, I decided to apply for a $5000.00 loan with Speedy cash so I went down to the Speedy Cash in Fullerton, CA to apply. The reason I chose this branch is because over the past 4 years I’ve always been approved for the $5000.00 loan with no problems. Over the past 4 years I received 4 loans for $5000.00 and paid them all off giving me an excellent pay history with them. On 9/2/2018 I applied and was denied for the first time with no credible reason why. My income has gone up, my employment status hasn’t changed, my credit score was higher, and given the fact that I was a past client with a excellent pay history it should have been very easy for me to get the loan but it wasn’t. After confronting the rep. who was helping me she couldn’t give me an answer to why I was denied, so she told me to contact the branch in Kansas, which I did. After contacting them they stated I was denied because I didn’t have a history with them and I replied I’ve taken 4 loans from you guys over a period of 4 years and paid them all off, what you mean I don’t have a history with you, I replied that can’t be the issue. Then she said mentioned length of time my other accounts were established, I said those credit card accounts were all open well before I ever took out my very first Speedy Cash loan and you guys knew it because you ran my credit report every time I got a Speedy Cash loan, so that can’t be the issue. Then she said you have to many consumer finance accounts, I said I don’t have any consumer finance accounts, so what are talking about. I’m in the finance business I know what’s on my credit report and what debt I have and I don’t have a consumer finance account. These people have no idea what they’re approving nor can they give you a credible answer on why your denied. I haven’t obtained any new credit from the last time I obtained a Speedy Cash loan. On top of that the Fullerton office ran my credit report twice in the same day after I told them not to which now dropped my credit score even lower. So let me recap, I applied for a loan with Speedy Cash that approved me 4 times before and denied me today and not give me a strait answer to why I was denied and then they ran my credit report twice in one day which now has dropped my credit score down about 20 points. If this is how they treat all their past clients then I don’t ever want to do business with them again. Bad service, no knowledge of their job, a complete waste of time, and now screwing up my credit with a 20 point loss. Extremely BAD company to work with. Stay away!!!

Got a loan from this company…encouraged by their commercial of having the lowest interest rate of 7% per month. Okay, that being promised…I did a title loan for $1200. on a car that is worth atleast $7000. After all was completed, my contract is as stated…Int 228.245% monthly payment $353.12. I am one for principle…I am going to go through any means necessary to get my contract amended to what they advertised. If a class action suit is warrented…will do. i was in touch with a James Morgan and he said i needed to purchase i-tune cards to get my loan and then another i-tune card and another etc., etc., etc. i ended up spending $415 and he wanted more. i finally told him enough was enough and i wanted a refund on all the i-tune cards i purchased. he said it would cost me $50 to get my refund. what kind of business is this? all i know to do is turn this over to the western missouri district attorney!!!! sincerely william mcdowell.

It is a shame that this million dollar company will not help you out in your time of need. By saying that I mean, I am a loyal customer who has never missed a payment, and once you deal with a sickness and missing work due to the fact of being sick, they WILL NOT work with you if your unable to make that one payment. Went into Speedy Cash located in Moreno Valley CA. located on Alessandro Blvd. on 8/18/2016 with a check from a legitimate bank for a server that I had done on line. I sat there for approximately 40 minutes for them so-call verify the check. The wanna be manager came to the window and tells me that the check was fraudulent, and that she was making a copy of my ID and would not be giving me the check back. I asked her if she could call or give me the number she had used for the verification, do that I could see what was going on. She told me “NO” and proceeded to call the police on me. I continued to demand from her my check she did not return it. I have contacted the complaint line and will be contacting Bill Baker tomorrow anyone know of any other avenues that I can pursue. Humiliated was not the word.

On April 15, 2016 I went in to this location to get a payday loan for $200 and a man by the name of Eric was assisting me and during this transaction Eric made an error with the due date and had to redo the contract several times so much so that the store manager who was a woman had to step in and assist him. Eventually, I was able to obtain my loan for $200 and both Eric and I signed the paper work and I left the store. Later on that day while I was at home I received a phone call from Eric stating that he had overpaid me by $200 and that they had me on camera and that they needed me to come into the store. I informed him that I had only received the amount that I had signed for and that I was offended that I was being accused of receiving extra money and that I would not be inconvenienced and put off my weekend plans due to his error and I then asked to speak with a manager and I was told that the manager wasn’t in and that when she returned on Monday that the manager would call me.
According to the loan papers that I had signed on April 15th, my loan was due to be repaid on April 29th, and when I went into the store to repay the loan it was also my intention to take out another loan, however, I was told by Eric that I could not take out another loan because I had received and additional $200 with the original $200 that I had received on April 15th, when I asked to view the tape I was told that they could not allow me to do so because the tapes were confidential even though when Eric called me on April 15th he asked me to come in and view the tape. I continued to speak to Eric in the presence of my friend who witnessed Eric admit that it was his fault that he (allegedly) overpaid me by $200 and that his manager was not in and that she was the only one that could resolve the matter. Eric also admitted that the only contact that they had with me was on April 15th and that he could not explain why no one contacted me regarding this over payment for the last 15 days.
I would like a full apology and explanation for being accused of taking money that I did not receive. I felt embarrassment, harassment, and discrimination due to the fact that I am an African American male who has been accused by customer service representatives who are all Hispanic of allegedly taking money. I am a hard working American who works six days a week and I pay taxes and I am offended that this company employs individuals who engage in discriminatory practices/racists stereotypes.

I would like to be contacted at 317-650-XXXXX, I have visited store 8026 the past two evenings and have been an almost nightly customer for several years. The past two nights I have made purchases and would be having a friendly conversation with the person who was working. The phone would ring and whomever was watching the security cameras from there remote location said something to the person working about me lottiering. Tonight 1/22 at approximately 1:25 est I had just purchased 2 mountain dews and some Donuts. I was eating my donuts looking at magizines that I possibly would have purchased when this person called again, I’m not sure if it was the same person both nights. If you were to look at the surveillance you can obviously see I’m not scoping the place out and am dressed nicely. I must say I am very offended by this treatment and am going to have to start thinking twice when passing by whether I want to stop or go to a competitor. I would appreciate a phone call to discuss this further.

The agent I spoke to apparently forgot to mute her headset prior to stating “this woman is on my nerves” which I found to be very disrespectful and unprofessional. My overall experience with Speedy Cash has been horrible!! On top of that, they sent an unauthorized ACH on my account after the account was paid in full which tied up my money and affecting my other financial obligations. This is the worst company ever. I was lied to several times. A woman by the name of Tabitha denied me speaking with her superior and was very rude and disruptive. I could not get a word in. The customer service experience was more of an argument than trying to resolve an issue. Jim Ackerman then got on the phone and stated that he was part owner of the company and refusing to pull up the recorded phone call from myself and Tabitha’s conversation. Tabitha is in the title department and Jim is a senior project lead who stated that he was the boss of Tabitha, which he was Not! This is a very unprofessional company and I wouldn’t advise anyone to do business with speedy cash because if your not happy with a customer service representative then there’s nothing that will be done about it!

I made arrangements with Kai on March 6, 2014 to pay final payment of $204 on March 21, 2014 on April 7, 2014 they took out another 107 out my account on April 7. When I called several times they had done nothing but gave the run around.
