Hello everyone at Shell. Today I purchased gas at the San Fernando Mission Blvd Granada Hills, Ca. location. I pumped $20.08 and my bank statement is reading an overdraft of -$98.00 with a purchase reading $125.00 worth of gas. I am reporting this to not only corporate but the LAPD for fraud. What else can I do to get my money reimbursed?

I was mocked and replied with a very unexpected response by the entire staff at the SHELL COMPANY owned Gas station,
Honestly for your reference I had visited the below mentioned TR enterprises to fill petrol { V -power }. As I saw there was no one in the point where I usually fill and enquiried if anyone was available. They said to go ahead and fill it up in the next pump. I did as they advised, but then another food delivery guy from SWIGGY was just pushing his bike ahead and I saw that he did not move. So I used my sound horn to initiate him to move his bike.
As I was about to move my scooterette to fill petrol, NAVEEN KUMAR attendant instructed me to park my scooterette A’s per his instructions. And when I denied him he kept arguing with me and I made him understand that I was from the service background and I spoke to him in HINDI.
Mostly people who are in the service industry here speak in Hind. So I said to him and kept arguing, along with him was cashier (Roopesh).
After all this time I paid cashier 500 rupees INR and requested the remaining amount.When the cashier went to get the remaining 50 rupees which he had owed me in return for what I paid for.
I went to the store of theGAS station and said to the cashier who was inside the place and his reply was to correct the issue which took place.
To my dismay many of the employees were listening to what I was trying to covey, and few said to me stating “ They were willing to take the brunt and be liable for the way their colleague had misbehaved.
I also kept them posted that I am a regular customer at a Gas station next toUB CITY,
also the staff knows me and I also usually have a cup of hot beverage after I fill fuel.
Entire staff challenged me to do whatever best I could have.
This is how the staff behave with people.
Moreover some few staff are women and they are unable to understand local languages or English and Hindi.
When suggested NAVEEN KUMAR to learn Hindi language they are not proficient with, he replied rudely saying he is from mandya. Also says I am not here to learn whatever you want me to do.
Women fuel pump attendants are unable to handle the delivery nozzle which is fitted with a handle which is a bit strong and heavy, and may damage the nozzle of the fuel tank holder. I need stress every time I go to fill fuel for my vehicle.
It’s time consuming and the painful process is repeated every time.
If recruitment would have followed the required standard protocols, business would have been much better and life might have been better for every customer who entered the GAS station.
I also had suggested for NITROGEN air if provided in the GAS station, reason NITROGEN is much better than the normal air.
I use the V-power petrol because, my machine does not emit smoke. B-power petrol is distilled at the least 7good times.
Anyways I thought of informing you, rest is up to you.

I find it shocking that the station on Cleary Blvd in Plantation Florida has not had premium gas in 7 months! I have sent in 16 requests during that time to the corporate office and no resolution, no explanation, nothing. Everyone is hiding! Horrible service had to go elsewhere for gas.
Trending story in Alaska about the treatment of Erin Cruz . So this is why I quit my job. I was flown to Las Vegas because I won. He talks about the top 1% being recognized and going to Australia. I was not only in that 1% I was the number 1 store in the country. One by one the owners of all the other stores were called on stage to congratulate their managers. They gave hugs, took pictures and were presented with thier trip to Australia. I never got called up. I had been told that since I was number one I was to give a little thank you speech and everything.. never got called up and recognized for my achievements because the owner of Three Bears put his own name down as the winner. So not only did he steal my trip to Australia he stole my recognition. He stole my thank you. Every other winning manager was acknowledged and praised except for me. The grand prize winner… I refuse to lift another finger for a man who uses his employees in this way.
A friend of mine told me to buy a car wash for $69.00 that Shell offered as a promotion. He got his from 13780 E 6th Ave. Aurora, CO 80011 with a fuelreward card that will earned him $3.00/Gal plus car wash card that allows him to use it for 365 days.
Having that information, on my way home I stopped by the Shell gas station located at 3385 S Tower rd Aurora, CO 80013. The cashier told me that they don’t have fuel reward card. Even though I was not convinced by his information, since the car wash deal by itself was unexpected. So, I paid $69.00 by debit card.
After I got more information from two of my friends who bought car wash card and fuel reward card with the same amount, I felt that not only me, but also other Shell gas customers were cheated badly.
On the next day, I talked to the store owner who is an Indian decent over the phone. I explained the situation. He said we don’t refund your money, you can also complain to whom you want.
I never had this kind of customer service, especially from the owner.
Finally, I would like to fax the two stores receipts which are completely different. This guy’s store receipt looks like they purposely programmed to omit the fuel reward card which can give customers 20 gallons of free gas after activating the card.
Please investigate the situation to keep your good name and customers satisfaction.

I was sent to my address, with my name, on a card that had 4 coupons on it for 10 cent off the gallon of gas, to be used once a week. I use the first weeks coupon with no problem, the next week I go in and hand the coupon over to the man behind the counter and he stated that it will not scan that the system has not accepted them all day. I went ahead and got the gas at $2.34 a gallon, I believe I got 10 gallons. With 10 cents off a gallon that would have save me a dollar. Now since Shell initiated this offer I would like the dollar. I did not get the savings due to nothing that had anything to do with me, I did exactly what I should have done, which was to go to Shell and give the coupon. I want my dollar savings.

Stopped at Shell station in Frankfort KY and signage indicated must come inside to pay. Turned pump on and within a minute gas was spraying from the pump handle toward my face and all over the car. Attendant indifferent to problem and when called by phone as followup he said there was no problem. This is a very dangerous problem. Stopped at a Shell in Acworth Ga. on 11/.04/2018 on my way back from Florida. There were no posting of the price of gas only on the pumps themselves.The price was so small hard to read.By the time I read the price I had already put in 10 gal.The price was 3.38 per gal stopped the pump right away.The price for gas in the area is around 2.59 to2.69 Went and asked the clerk if the price was correct.His response was yes. I will never shop at another shell store. My husband stop there yesterday to get diesel the pump took our money but know diesel he ran out of diesel I had to buy a gas can and go to another store to get diesel for him. And I had to travel over a hour to bring it to him and to give him money to get diesel. And we had 60.59 in our bank account until pay day so there was no reason for shell to not give us diesel. Shell Station in Buna, Texas at there pumps pull our money out of the account and then said insuffints funds which was a lie. You took our money but didn’t give us any diesel. I believe you owe me for the gas can which was $20.00 plus 15.00 for the diesel I had to go to another store plus a tank of gas for my car which is about 30.00 plus my time plus my butt chewing I got from my husband think I over drawn our account. You certainly make it difficult for anyone to actually contact a living person at the Shell Corporate Headquarters. What should be a very simple search, and certainly not one that should be kept “secret” is how to contact your legal department. Absolutely not even a hint on any of your websites to locate your legal department. You might be interested to know that your Registered Agent in Michigan does a similar job of hiding. Oh, well, I’m not going to waste any further time in letting you know that a default has been improperly entered against Shell here in Michigan. Had I been able to contact someone, would have gladly furnished the court and case number to you, but I’ve already already wasted several hours on what should have taken about 10 minutes.
You have a gas station at 6050 Monterey Road in San Jose California, that has a candy display blocking one of the exit doors. Please get that resolved that’s very dangerous for your customers in the event that they have to exit that door that’s a fire code violation
I just read about a Shell gas station that routinely refuses service to members of law enforcement.
This is unacceptable.
I get gas from the Shell station a few blocks from my house almost every week. I will be driving past it to the Marathon a few blocks further down until I hear that Shell no longer allies this gas station to carry it’s logo.
I’ve been to this Shell station twice.The first time, a few mnths ago. When I went to pay, the man said “the printer is broken, can I just write a receipt?” I said “ok”. The next time on 1-9-2018. I would like to know how a station that sells gas during the daytime at 94.9 cents per litre can up the price by 15 cents per litre at night when all the other stations are closed…. where are the ethics in this? There is a problem to the neighborhood from the shell station on Manchester Ave/Western Ave location in Los Angeles, Ca.. They are allowing loud music to be played coming from a catering truck and a person in a truck with large speakers late at night. On 5/28 the music was so loud it sounded like a block party going on at 12:35am. On 5/29 the music started again around 8:30pm. A call was made to the station and was told it was a customer getting gas and he could not ask them to leave, which wasn’t true because the loud music had been going on for an hour. When told the police would be called and the corporate office would be notified he decided to have them turn the music down. This was not someone getting gas because the person was parked on the side of the building. Several months ago he allowed the loud music to be played coming from a vehicle parked right in front of the door and when he was contacted we were told this was a guy performing. When told the police would be called, we were told to do whatever we had to do and he hung up. This is a residential neighborhood of working people who don’t want to hear the loud music. Tonight there is a catering truck with loud music and the time is 12:41am. The owner need to be contacted by the corporate office concerning this matter. Thank you.
My name is Mike and I went to a shell station in Macon GA to purchase a pack of cigarettes on Chambers Rd. The cashier told me she couldn’t sell me any cigarettes cause she thought I was purchasing for someone and I told her u me er said I was purchasing anything for anybody. And I ask to speak with the manager she told me she was the manager and she wasn’t gonna sell me any cigarettes. I went into shell located on sunrise blvd in Sacramento CA on January 16th, 2017 at around 6pm. I went in to purchase a gas gift card. I originally wanted the amount to be 40$ but was told I could do 25$ or 50$ only. The employee working told me I was able to do 40 and that he has seen other employees do it before. I hesitated and said no because it has an amount and I knew it couldn’t be more or less than the written amount. He charges my debit card 40$. The gift card didn’t activate but I was charged the 40$. He tried to load the 40$ on the 50$ gift card and was asking me to swipe my card again. I didn’t want to swipe it again or else it would’ve been 90$ that would’ve been charged on my card. The employee told me he refunded my money and told me it would be back in my account in 2-5 business days. He took back both of the gift cards he had me swipe. One being a 25$ one and the other being the 50$ one. I waited a full week and still had no money back. I went in again and talked to him and he said there was nothing he could do and gave me a number to call the next day. I spoke with the manager and he was rude and didn’t want to hear what I had to say. He wanted to take my original copy of the receipt leaving me with no evidence but I said no, I made him make a copy and I kept the original. He told me he has to fax it to IDK who and told me I should just forget about it because it takes a long time for it to get resolved. They had to go through security footage, etc he said. He asked me to write my information down and that as soon as I left he would fax it to whoever he had to so they can resolve it. It has now been 2 months and he has not contacted me. I want my money back and I will go to whatever measure I have to in order to get it.
Herein Tacoma Washington there is a independently owned station with the name shell on it. Bathrooms are disgusting. They don’t use cleaning solution they just take a wet mop and swish it around. No beverages, nothing to eat. People get paid to sit and do nothing. A.m. shift not accommodating. Owner doesn’t care and does not give lunches or breaks. The local seniors around there are the only customers that keep him in business and he takes their money for stupid stuff that doesn’t need to be done. I stopped by Shell Gas Station located on Kurt Street and State Road 441 in Leesburg, FL on Sunday, Nov 20, 2016 approximately 2:30pm to get gas. A hispanic female cashier did not permit 3 cents discount with card because she said the entire network was down. I went to another shell gas station and a cashier there said they had no problems using network.

I have been a loyal customer at the local Shell Station on 11th street in Niles Michigan for several years. Two weeks ago I filled up at pump 24 at this gas station as I did regularly that pump. I used my debit card for the transaction. There was a reader on that pump that stole my information. ( It was the first time I had used my card in 2 weeks.) This was on a Friday. When I went to my bank to do some business they said my account was overdrawn. I filed complaints on fraudulent transactions. Finally after 2 weeks things are completely straightened out. However even after letting the manager at this location know about this happening and I know her personally. I will never buy gas at a Shell Oil station again. I have bought gas form shell oil stations for over 30 years and use to work at one when I returned home from the US Navy. Never again will they get even a penny from me or anyone in my family or any of my relatives.
While doing business with a SHELL station in San Luis Obispo, CA ( Madonna Shell) i was violently attacked, assaulted and battered .

Yes, the story right. I think about Friday the 24 of June close to midnight, seen an employee walk right out of the store uniform still on and looks like he assaulted a customer still in the vehicle, then just walk back in like nothing happen. So the customer he just help call the police, they arrive and they do what they do. But so on few days later headed back through there the same employee that did the assaulting was still working there. Now. I’m speaking for all loyal customers and family’s out there, would you feel safe now? This incident happen on US-160,Kayenta, Az 86033. I thought Shell had standard’s, plus I’m sure there other people out there that need a job and would respect the Shell name. I would advise corporate to look into this. I’m sure there’s a police report about it and the gas station should have one in there file too. Also if I were management there I would have fired the employee unless they too have bad managers. Shell mart in Stanton KY is one of the worst places ever I’ve seen for saleing drug paraphernalia they sale the crack pipes the marijuana pipes and bubblers and also the bongs. I am not writing as a customer. I am writing as the finance’ of an owner of a Shell Station in Gulf Breeze Florida, that works 7 days along side of him. Neither of us has received a paycheck yet after reopening the doors to this business almost 7 months ago, because we are working so hard to give back to our community that wants to see us be successful, that want t be a contributing factor to watching us make the best of the American Dream! I was a college student, studying law and had no choice but to withdraw from my studies in order to give this business my all. We both work long hours and have been struggling to make this great American Dream work. We have not been able to get a loan, in order to fill up our store. We have contacted Governor Scott’s Office and they were kind enough to send us links and information for a lot of avenues that would have been able to help us. We have contacted several of the given links, only to continuously be let down. Our pumps have been a huge issue from day one, even after and getting the gas company to deliver gas to us has been as painful as getting a root canal. I look at convenience store employees with a new found respect. It amazes me how rude people can be, just because I am standing behind a counter, wearing a Shell shirt. Although our customer base consists of mostly repeat, friendly customer’s, on certain days we get so beat up with verbally abusive, hurtful words that I personally want to walk away from this at least a few times a week. My children all go to school here. They help here when their not busy with middle and high school life and sports, etc. A lot of our Shell customer’s come in for our well known V-Power gas for their high dollar vehicles and we still believing in personally greeting our customers and pumping gas for the disabled and our senior citizen customers. We serve Philly cheese steaks, Hershey’s Ice Cream and are the #1 Uhaul dealer in the Panhandle. We recently found out that we are #8 in our entire Nation. I want to continue to believe that the American Dream is still ALIVE and as long as we continue to stay optimistic, we have the capability to be here in our community for a long time. We would LOVE to have an official Shell Representative contact us, to perhaps help to guide us along the way in being successful. We do not want to think that we are only in this to make the rich richer.

I‘ve been a loyal customer of the Shell gas station located at 4750 W. Rosecrans Ave. Hawthorne, CA 90250 for over 6 years, on 3/31/2016 I went to fill up my tank, which I normally do here at least twice a week , since I drive a lot for work, this time the pump card reader didn’t work and I had to go up to the cashier whose name is Alberto Latorre. I’ve always tried to avoid this gentleman because a bad experience I already had asking him for air to pump my tires when he yelled telling me that the pump was already working when it wasn’t. This time I asked to fill up the tank, he asked me for the exact amount on which I answered I don’t know the exact number that’s when he said “I don’t care, I want the amount” with his bad attitude as usual, I told him it wasn’t necessary to have such a bad attitude, and again he replied “I don’t care”, after this I should I left this gas station but I decided to move my car to another pump where again the card reader didn’t work, so I had to deal again with this gentleman, I asked him for $30 on gas, I gave him my card and he throws it back at me telling me that I had to swipe it even after him doing what it seemed a swipe on his screen, I told him I was going to complain about his work and I left without signing the receipt and he yells at me saying that I have to sign, again I told him I was going to complain for his customer service and he replied saying “I said please” which he never did.
Is amazing that being a loyal customer you have to take this people attitudes and take some of my time to write this complain to you,attach my receipt and also , is not surprising to see in Yelp the same complain at the same station made by a customer called Wesley C. which I took the time to attach.
Everyone needs to boycott shell.it is a horrible station, the people are always rude,i am making a police report. I asked for $10 in gas after being told i could use debit. He swiped the card and said its debit. I said no and he didnt pump. He didnt pump my gas no reciept but withheld 75 on my card. That is theft. After 2 hours and the police coming and the manager being rude. He decides to give me 75 in cash and take all my info. I told him when the charge clears i will bring the money. Its a prepaid card so it takes time. Nothing i can do. He only gave me 75 because he was going to make report for theft. Now he is calling and harassing me and threatening me about the 75. How dare he. So i made complaint with shell and now im going to make report.
I went to the shell station down the road from me and it is now owned by middle eastern people. I was shopping when a person of middle eastern descent that was stocking the shelves looked at me, staring and started chanting in Arabic. His eyes never left mine. Very disrespectful. Can’t stand people of such. Have not stepped foot in that building since. Now, to narc them out to the top peeps.
Same thing happened to me. I went to swipe my card at the gas pumps
and it declined my card and put a hold on $75. , all the money i had in

Walked inside a bought two drinks for $2 and paid again with my card . My card was charged a HOLD of $85.00 for the $10 in gas and another $85.00 for the $2 in drinks ( $170.00 Hold to cover my $12 I actually spent ) . I live 1 mile from this store and my card billing address is 1 mile from this store . I have been to this store 100″s of times and used this exact card 99% of the time and never a problem . This could have caused someone big problems if that money was needed .

My daughter was working at the Shell station at 7441 Parklane RD Columbia, SC 29223 as a cashier. She quit her job and was told by the owner that she had to pay a monetary penalty for quitting and he would not pay her for her last two weeks. This is not legal as she should be paid for the two weeks she worked as she earned that pay.
The closest place by my house to buy my cigarettes at is one of your Shell gas stations located at 7671 foothill blvd, Tujunga, ca 91042. Being that I am a smoker, I regularly get all kinds of coupons from Marlboro which I in turn use to help offset the cost of every single pack or carton of cigarettes that I buy. The problem is and has been that the cashier at my neighborhood Shell gas station located at 7671 foothill blvd, Tujunga, ca 91042, has never accepted any of my coupons and always tells me that they don’t take coupons of any kind. Today I decided to go on the marlboro.com website and I found that, by using your zip code, Marlboro will give you a list of the participating retailers near your home where you can redeem your Marlboro coupons at. Well, to my amazement, my neighborhood Shell gas station located at 7671 foothill blvd, Tujunga, ca 91042 was first on that list! I was so in shock that I immediately called Marlboro and told them what was happening. According to Marlboro, they will be visiting the shell location to find out why they are not taking the coupons. i guess my question to Shell is.. do you accept coupons at all your gas stations or is it up to the individual location to decide whether they will accept them? What I know for sure is that smokers are receiving a tremendous amount of coupons right now and they need to be able to use them so, I suggest you start accepting them or figure out where the disconnect is because, if not, your cigarette sales are sure to go down. Hopefully, Marlboro can figure out what the problem is too or just take your gas station(s) off their list of participating, coupon accepting, retailers.

My letter is to first explain how Mr. Duarte came to my assistance while traveling through CT and second to recommend him as a candidate for advancement in your organization.
The following are the details:
On November 25, I was traveling to NY with my two kids. There was an overheating odor in my car. I got off the freeway because the hazard light was on, the dashboard displayed “low oil pressure”, “no coolant” and the car could barely accelerate.
I got off the freeway and drove to the closest service station. I got to the mini-mart and asked a young lady at the desk if they carry anti-freeze. I had no idea where to pour the anti-freeze. Mr. Duarte walked by and overheard the conversation. I explained the situation to him. He quickly came to the car, poured the antifreeze, poured oil and re-clamped the hose to make sure I will make it safely with my two young boys to NY.
On a cold wintry day Mr. Duarte was an angel to me, “A Thanksgiving angel to say the least.” He only requested that I pay for the clamp, the bottles of antifreeze and the oil. The cashier assisted me and he walked away. I immediately thanked him for his genuine kindness and his excellent, excellent customer service.
Mr. Duarte is an exemplary employee. My family and I gave thanks for him (and his family) many times on Thanksgiving Day. I will always remember his kindness.

I last used my Shell credit card at the local Shell station in my town in January of 2014. At that time, and continuing to this day, the price for gas is 10 cents per gallon less for cash purchase. If you have a Shell credit card, you pay 10 cents more. Hmmmmm.
I have been a customer, with a Shell credit card, for 43 years. When I questioned the owner about the policy, he stated that “…cash was the only way to get the 10 cent discount.” “But I have a Shell card.” “Sorry!” he said. I do not feel comfortable carrying cash, and I pay off my bill every month completely.
Well, it is 11 months later, and no purchases. I received, in the mail, two new cards to register, so I did. Then I contacted a Shell telephone assistant regarding their policy for gas pricing. She transferred me to headquarters, and I was told each station is owner operated, so they can essentially charge what they please.
After hearing that, I felt I no longer need Shell Gasoline for my automotive needs. My
decision was to terminate the account. 45 YEARS! I am off to another station, who needs to carry a worthless card in my wallet.
On Tuesday November 18th, 2014 took car to the Shell Station in Aspen Hill, MD. Problem was defogger system not working inside vehicle. Left car to be checked out by mechanic in garage. Was not told by owner of the station that there would be a $50.00 diagnostic fee. The mechanic could not even tell me exactly what the problem was except to say that it must be something electrical. Yet I still had to pay the $50.00 fee, $54.77 including shop fee to be exact. A great way to piss away $54.77, go visit the Shell Station In Aspen Hill, MD.

On 10/16/14 pumped gas at Shell station 3021 Plainfield Rd Joliet IL. The pump never shut off and it spilled 3-4 gallons on the pavement and over my good shoes. Tried to tell the attendant and he said come back tonight. I don’t live close. Called the 800 number 3-4 times. Every time I am told we escalated the call and someone will contact you, no progress. Station phone number just has a busy signal. They must take the phone off so they don’t have to talk to customers. Filed complaint with Illinois States attorney for Senior fraud. I was just at your gas station in worth Illinois I’ve been there lots of times with no problem today I had got a pint of liquor they did not give me a proof of purchase I got home an discovered the bottle had been already opened they would not refund me or switch out the bottle so needless to say I am angry an will never go back to any shell gas station ever again.
on vacation we pulled into a Shell gas station believing they had a good name. (we will never make that mistake again! ) their advertised price was $3.39 but we were charged $3.49 a gallon. i went to use the bathroom and i could smell it at-least 6 feet before i got to the door. it was filthy!!!! i have never seen such a filthy bathroom! i did not use it and told the owner about it. that was a joke.

Shell branded station located at 13542 west highway 290, Dripping Springs, Tx 78737 is a rip off. Road sign today showed regular gas for $ 3. 299 per gallon. Pump purchase price was 3.359. Deceptive trade. Phone call to phone # on back of Shell Credit care (1-800-331-3703) lead to 27 minutes of punching bottons until finally speaking with a loud and rude individual who was NO help. He stated this station was a franchise operation and shell had no control over trade at this station – even though it is a Branded Shell station ??????
All I wanted was 66 cents credited to my account – the difference on a $32.00 purchase between the pump price and the posted price. Refused to do it. So, for 66 cents Shell has lost a 20 + year customer for good and I will now file a deceptive trade complaint with the Texas Attorney General for deceptive trade.

We stopped at the Shell in Easley, SC on Brushy Creek Rd.. The owner is SO rude. Our receipts have not been coming out of machine. When I ask them to open box & get receipts there are numerous receipts for the names of the customers & last digits of card. Truly a violation of the Hipaa Practice. I have asked them to remove named from receipts. They never do. We stopped today & asked them to get our receipt & told my husband to go elsewhere for gas because we are the only ones that complain. I guess no one else cares that their private is on those receipts. As of today, we NO longer will do business with ANY Shell Stations. There are other companies who care about their customers . As far the Corporate side of this, I called twice in 2 years to complain about this. I was told it was the individual gas station that had to change this. That owner told me that it was coming from Corporate. I spend $200-$300 a month but you will not see me there again.
Dear Sir: I live in Redding, CA and I’m trying to find an American owned gas station as I’m plenty tired of supporting the Muslims in this Country. I don’t care they passed a history test…. Wed after midnight 18 Jun 14 i was short changed by a man very mean and evil person ob the late shift. I asked fot a pack of Newport nonmenthol 100 cigarettes gave him a $20 bill he short changed or shall i say he overcharged me for a purchase price listed $3.89 for 1pk the price ge charged was $5.40. Tried to cordially inform him of the error. All hell and satin came out of him. He told me that rhe cigarettes were 2 for 1 but he wouldn’t fix the over charge nor give me the other pack (2/1). Said he has ice running through his veins. Would not listen nor correct his error. That really hurt. Wish i knew his name. He has no business in customer service. Ive always used shell to get gas and shop. All the stores have been great and let us use the bathroom when purchasing items at store. I have a complain that I have purchased gas and items at store and the location im going to give always has bathroom locked and says that the manager doesn’t permit no one to use the bathroom after 8 pm and at other different times. We are retired and always buy shell gas and also when we travel. We were going thru Ocala Fl today and stopped in one of your stations. Address 3801 NW Blitchdon Rd, Ocala Fl. The sign was 3.59 so we stopped and I used my credit card. Not a shell credit card. After I already had. 29.88 Inoticed a small note that read if you use anything other than cash or shell credit card you will pay 3.88. I stopped and also told the person next to me and he stopped. We could not believe shell could be so misleading. We also told the the person behind us and he didn’t know. So very misleading. We will not be buying shell gas again!

I have to register a complaint about your station at 2075 W Ruthrauff Rd Tucson, AZ. The girl that was on duty at 10am Saturday June 7th is a smart ass little person. I just picked up some groceries and was going to get some gas for the coming week. I pulled up to the first pump and when I tried to get pump to work all it would read is see attendant. Thinking it was the pump I back up to the next pump and when I tried to get this one to work I got the exact same message, see attendant. So I went inside and ask why the pumps are all saying see attendant and she said because the system just went down and it will not take debit but will take credit. So I ask if there is a option to select credit and she said yes. I returned to the pump and gave it 3 more tries and all I would get is see attendant. So I go back into the sore tell her that the pump does not give me an option to select credit and she says she will help me in a few minutes and she waits on the people that are in the store. Then she says lets me reset the computer and she pushes some button a couple of times then she goes out the door and just lets it shut in my face instead of holding the door as I depart a paying customer. Then we get to the pump and she bring up a screen that was Not there the several times before while I was trying to get gas, and I say to her that the screen was not blank there and because she reset the damn computer it is now working and why in the hell did she make me while all this while, why could she not just reset the blank computer when I first went into the store. Then she said I have the right to refuse anyone service because I was cursing at her, but by this time I am pissed and if she would have reset the computer the first time I would have been long gone by now. So I told her when she said she can refuse service to anyone that is fine I don’t need to buy gas here and she went inside and I left. I love shell gas and most of the time the people that work at the stores but this little girl should not be working anywhere there is customers she needs to satisfy. What has happened to this country? It use to be the customer is Always Right and not it is f you if you don’t like it go somewhere else! I also will NEVER visit a Shell station for gas again!! I received a 25.00 Gift card a month ago , have gone to numerous Shell stations in Mass.,They tell me the card is invalid.It is not , I called the 800 # on the back and every one says it has a 25.00 balance. I went to a Shell Gas Station in Kenilworth, NJ… the attendant was told him $10 in my daughter car 3 times and proceded to fill up the car. Then the attendant insisted I told him to fill up. At that point I told him to call someone. After the police arrived I explained to him that I told him 3 times I had 2 witnesses and now I’m out of $33 if I did not have the money who knows what would have happen. I am very discourage that you can not go to the gas station with out a scam. I have had enough after 3 incidents. I want either my refund or credit for gas. I will not be taken advance of anymore. My credit card number was stolen and used at 15428 Warwick Blvd, Newport News VA, 23608. The thief used the number without physically having the card and the cashier accepted the number written on a piece of paper. This has happen two seperate times where my credit card has gotton compromised and the cashier accepted the credit card number without the physical credit card. The cashier or cashiers at this Shell station is not concerned about identy.

I will never stop for gas at a Shell station again for the rest of my life after what happened on Wed., Feb. 27, 2014. Especially at the station Silver Spray Car Wash and Service on Port Washington Road in Mequon WI. The owner’s name is Patrick, I found out.
I am on Social Security Disability and have a small part time job out of my home. So when I get a paycheck, it’s used for bills and groceries for myself and my dog.
After making a trip to my orthopedic doctor in Mequon, WI, I decided to stop at the nearest gas station on my way home to get some gas. I was low.
So I stopped at Silver Spray Car Wash and Service on Port Washington Road and at the pump swiped my DEBIT card and put my PIN number into the station’s payment system. I don’t use credit cards.
I grabbed the gas nozzle with one hand and then tried to take off the gas cap to insert the nozzle. The cap wouldn’t budge. I needed both hands. So I put nozzle back into the tank entry port and managed to get the cap loose. Freezing cold here and very windy.
Then only to find out I had to swipe my debit card etc once again. My hand felt frozen already.
I bought $20.83 on my DEBIT card, and drove home.
Since my PT paycheck direct deposit had just arrived in the account, on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, I needed to pay an overdue bill to my cable company so I could continue without interruption on my internet-based PT job.
Then I checked my checking account and found to my surprise it was $90 shorter than I knew it was supposed to be. I looked at account activity and saw the $90 charge from Silver Spring Carwash and Service. I was furious. I figured it had to be an authorization charge some gas stations pursued years and years ago when the economy was even in worse shape for possible runoffs. But I was furious. I have lived in Wisconsin in this area most of my life and NEVER, have been charged such a fee.
I called the station in anger and spoke with the owner, Patrick, and vented my anger, how could his station charge such an enormous fee, explained my situation and that I had used my DEBIT card and put in my PIN number to buy gas.
He didn’t even apologize. His heart was hard. I called my bank to see what the situation was with that charge, money I need desperately.
The bank said it should fall off, but I needed to pay 2 bills and get food.
You would think a company such as Shell who polluted our waters with gas spills years ago and is still worth at least $5.8 BILLION dollars could program their payment system to know the difference between credit and DEBIT cards. I don’t have credit cards.
I continued to vent at the owner, Patrick on my call and he did not even know the corporate location or number for SHELL. I could not believe a business man having a franchise wouldn’t know where his gas etc and corporate policies was located!
As said, I will never shop for gas at ANY SHELL station in any place in the world.
If that’s how they earn their money off of people who only use a debit card and that kind of $90 charge could have overdrawn me on another day and I would then be charged an overdraft fee! from the bank. I am appalled at SHELL’s inhumanity to man and their hardness of heart to take away my DEBIT card lifeline for at least TWO days!!!
SHELL you should be ashamed of your operation and the way you treat your customers – which I won’t be any more!
That is the problem that I found out bout. If u use ur card at the pump they put put a hold on it if u get $20.00 worth of gas. They can put a hold of $90.00. 2 stop that u have 2 go inside n give them ur card, then go outside n pump it. Plus if u go outside people can get a hold of ur numbers, n ur pin.
All gas stations do this. Next time go in and pay for a specific amount of gas. All pumps have to authorize an amount, they don’t know how much you are going to buy.
Today I had such an uncomfortable and inappropriate experience at my local station. I live in NJ so there was gas attendant to pump my gas. I pulled up and asked for twenty dollars regular. The man asked me if I liked winter and I politely replied saying no. He then asked me if I was married, to which I said yes. He asked me do I like to have sex At night in the winter to stay warm. I said that was inappropriate And I just wanted the gas. He asked me again if I enjoyed having Sex with my husband. I ignored the question, waited to get my debit card back and took off. I was so disgusted by this man. I will tell everyone I know never to go to that particular station. I demand a response in this matter.!
Subject: Accident – Falling Ice – 2-18-14
I was at the “Shell Station at 775 W Dundee Rd., Wheeling, IL 60090″ @ 12:28:08 today 2-18-14.
Went inside to pay, got gal. windshield fluid, and 1 liter of Pepsi. Paid for it went to my car @ pump 12, bent over to put the windshield fluid and pop down on the ledge at the end of the pump and a Block of ice about 5” wide fell off the roof and smashed me in the back of the head. I went back in to tell the attendant what happened, I already had a lump going across the back of my head, my neck hurts, my bottom jaw hurts, my bottom teeth hit my top teeth went the ice hit. The attendant was dealing with 7-Up vender at the time. He asked if I need an ambulance, I was not bleeding mainly stunned, I said no just wanted you to know what happened and record it. Went back to my car to pump gas. When I was done I went back in to ask for a name and number to call if the pain got worse, he stated he texted a Carmen with what happened. He pulled a receipt tape wrote I number down took the next customer and was reluctant to give me a name to call. I left and drove back to work. My neck and jaw pain is worse and I have a splitting headache, I have tried to call the station twice to asked if there is paperwork to fill out or someone I could talk to but the attendant has hung up on me twice even when I told him how I was.
If you can’t get help at the station level then you take your complaint above his head and call corporate office. They make be franchised but since it has the name of Shell they will have to have something set up for stuff like this. Shell corporate will take you serious if the person there doesn’t!
Shell Corporate office does not give a damn about anything that happens at their “Branded” stations.
First of all this is a new incident. On top of the Obama noose incident that took place in Jacksonville, Fl. that I wrote you about, this incident took place about an hour and fifteen minutes ago. At a Shell station located at 5551 Century Blvd. Los Angeles, Ca. you have more racist practices going on. Now you’ll probably say that you’re not affiliated with this store either, however by them using the Shell name, that makes you affiliated with whoever owns that particular store.
On Feb. 12, 2014 at 4:45am, the I went to the above mentioned store to purchase something to drink and take to work. Now 24hrs earlier at the same store, I went to the window to get something to drink also and the clerk told me he was closed. Mind you the store was lit up like a christmas tree and people were getting gas, but they’re closed. So this morning the clerk tells me he’s closed till 5am but he can get me what I want. (which he did not tell me yesterday) As he’s telling me this, there’s a white man getting coffee that obviously does not work there. Now how do I know this? Because I saw him come out of the store and get in his vehicle and leave. At this time another white man was let in the store and it still is not 5am yet. Then a few minutes later, I saw two asian ladies let in the store and still not 5am yet. But when a black man goes to purchase something from this store, they’re closed. FYI, the clerk was not white. He looked to be Mexican or Indian. So based on what I just went through plus your insensitivity toward the Black race in America, I am now forced to do something about it. This will not be the last you hear about this. You want to be a racist company and allow racist business practices used at stores with the Shell name, you go right ahead. Now I’ve got to do what I’ve got to do and you’re not going to like it.
So in closing I’d like to say “to hell with you and your racist ass company”.
Could it be a comfortable level? You might scare him/her. Fear doesn’t take a skin color, it is just there and some can’t control it as other. Try and keep an open mind.
I just had a terrible experience at the shell gas station in Hyde park. I had to ask one of the 3 non busy clerks to assist me and was told ” I didn’t know you were ready” after standing patiently with 0customers before me. Two of the clerks were discussing daycare issues and eating spaghetti at the desk!unbelievable!!!!
I would never recomend a shell. I worked for them there a disgusting company with horrible mangement. Try hiring people who don’t sexually harass your employees and sell weed on the job as a manager.
I stopped in the local shell today sat nov.16 around 12:30 p.m. As I do daily a couple times a day. I got my usual items and heard one male employee by the name joe talkin to another employee makin rude remarks and comments about an incident that happened a couple days back as I reached the counter to pay he starts running his mouth to me telling me he did appreciate something that was said he didn’t know which one said it but it was told to him a remark was made. All in all he was totally unprofessional as most of the employees atthis station are. BP is right across the street the employees there are nice and respectful and seem to enjoy their jobs in which they signed up for. So as for this shell station I would not recommend
