Have always enjoyed Shakeys from earning school certificates for the personal pizzas. Girl Scout fundraisers and now as an adult and CEO of youth intervention. This has been a go to spot to have luncheons and or treat my dedicated staff members to a dine and dash I call it.. Our last staff meeting & lunch held at the Shakeys Huntington Park location during lunch. Party of 16 total. All paid for!
Unlike visiting other location Palmdale Ca was awesome food hot and fresh staff had smiles and eager to assist. Torrance Ca and Carson I believe same. This experience at Huntington Park location was horrible. The pizza was cold chicken hard mojos stale. Spaghetti noodles mushy. Being I had such a large party all waiting for fresh servings. I made contact with front staff to ensure we’d be met with fresh food hot and fresh. To be turned away having a couple slices of the now buffet style pizza. Not to mention loads of soda lol.. we laughed and grumbled of the displeasure of course and I ensure we will return and be redeemed being Shakeys is an all time favorite.
I reached out to corporate given all info needed receipts time date etc. I was ensured I’ll be reimbursed don’t remember via gift card or shakeys dollars it’s been a while and many conversations last with Marabell or A young lady I’m still waiting in her to return a call as she has not I’m still with out remedy is my point which furthers dissatisfies me as a customer as well consumer. Times is tight we all must do better to ensure a job well done and needs are being met upon qualifications and of a standard.
Thank you Shakeys I’ll give another in another life.. and suggest we as consumers demand remedy just as we are demanded full payment before enjoyment and or remit on spending our hard earned money with these dissatisfying food chains. Also it shouldn’t be based on location and or franchise which dictates how good the food is or will be served. If this is the case i understand why this service was poor as the food. East L.A is this why.. smh..
Every week I go to 791 E. Foothill Blvd, Upland 91786, to eat Brunch Lunch. Now there is homeless indigent sleeping in the men’s bathroom stall during lunch time. Management powerless to do anything about it becoz they can’t refuse anyone from entering their facilities. I made complaint many times, management can’t do anything about these people hanging out in the bathroom stall. There is only I men bathroom stall, and rest of customer must suffer at expense of homeless individual hanging out inside bathroom stall at their leisure. Nothing management can do to police their illegal activity. Management powerless to enforce Law Enforcement Department to expell these transient individuals from trespassing on private property of the restaurant.
My wife and I visited the Shakey’s #103 in Victorville, California on April 30, 2021—and what a TERRIBLE experience it was. Sadly, not the food…but the service!
Our order was placed at 6:24 p.m., ordering two nine-inch pizzas and two, two-pieces of chicken. I don’t recall the time the waitress brought “an order,” but the pizza was wrong and the chicken was one breast and one wing.
Shortly after getting the order we called our waitress—who, at the same time, realized that it was the wrong order. She asked us if we touched the pizza (we told her we hadn’t) and she asked about the chicken and mojo potatoes…my wife ate one piece of potato before she quickly realized our order was incorrect. The waitress told us to keep the chicken & potatoes and she took the pizza and that she would notify the kitchen about the mix-up.
Our two pizzas were served rather quickly—but the chicken took FOREVER! When we complained (the first time) about the delay our waitress told us (apparently she spoke to a supervisor) that “the chicken we received (breast and wing) was an upgrade and better (yes, she actually said that–better) than what we ordered” as if we should have been grateful to have received the “wrong” chicken order.
We didn’t pay for a breast and wing and therefore did not want a breast and wing…in fact, we didn’t ask to keep the wrong order—the waitress voluntarily chose to leave it with us.
After complaining to several employees, specifically that we wanted our chicken WITH our pizzas—not minutes later, the chicken was eventually served. Our order was placed at 6:24 p.m., the correct chicken order was not served until 7:10 p.m.
No effort whatsoever to “make amends for the extended delay being served” (a dessert, gift card), nothing but a feeble apology. I don’t expect to have my order served in stages and I certainly don’t expect that I should be inconvenienced because of someone else’s negligence and carelessness.
You should teach your employees about customer service and how to retain customers!
Hi, I’m Washington. I moved here late 70’s and the 1st pizza we got and became accustomed to was Shakey’s in burien WA. Well it’s 40 years later and not many Shakey’s left. We currently get our Shakey’s fix from the one in Covington WA. So onto the problem…
What makes a Shakey’s? The Mojo’s. That’s what your known for. Not the pizza which is decent. The Mojo’s. Last time we were there was in Nov 2019 for a family members bday. And now from what I understand, the last time we had real mojo’s. We usually had Shakey’s once a month. Then covid hits, etc. We finally got Shakey’s again the other day and I get this s**t wafer thin no seasoning changed Mojo’s? W T F. They are horrible. Not sure what genius in your company thought this was a good idea. But this needs to be changed back. For me 40 years of something you can’t get anywhere in WA other then a Shakey’s, and you change it to garbage. We will not order again from Shakey’s till the real Mojo’s are returned. This is a tragedy.
Can you all please consider building a Shakey’s in Dallas TX. I grew up with this pizza. I promise you, it will work here. We don’t have anything like it in Texas. You would make so many families so happy.

Last night we went to shakeys. We left right before they closed. We were the last ones in there. Well my boyfriend forgot his phone. And basically the manager pocket searchex everyone. And when asked if we can see the footage of the individual who cleaned our table after we left silvester the morning manager denied and we were told we would have to go through corporate. I guess the huntington park shakeys steals from their loyal customers.
On 04/28/18 My wife, Son and I ordered a special that consisted of a large one topping pizza with an order of mojos. We wanted to enjoy our pizza before we went to the movie theatres. When the server brought out our pizza it was badly burnt. We question the worker about the way the pizza looked. He did offer to make another one, but we didn’t have more time to wait before our movie started, we just left it as it was… Such a waste of our money and time. I’ll never be back to the shakeys in Fontana again.
Today I went with my daughter to Shakey‘s on Reseda and Derringer I asked for a breast they charge me a dollar no problem when I got my breast it was not cooked on the inside it was RAW very upset the people next to me found a hairball in there mashed potatoes and the spaghetti is sitting in water that is disgusting I hope somebody does something about this management is terrible at this shakey’s still waiting for somebody in corporate office to call me
Hi, I went to Shakey’s in Fontana to enjoy the Dodger game. I purchased a family meal and a salad bar. This was the first time I have been to Shakey’s and didn’t notice that I wasn’t given the salad plate I was supposed to use. So when we got the pizza, chicken, Mojo’s and all, I went to the salad bar with my normal plate and the lead was so disrespectful and told me I couldn’t get salad unless I paid for it. I told her I did and so she asked to see my receipt. When I turned she took my plate from my hands and said she would hold it until I get the receipt. At this point I was mad already because they’re was a long line of dodger fans waiting to order while Linda accuses me of trying to steal salad. So when I return I showed her the receipt and she gave me a clear plate and I asked if I could get my old plate back and she said no, I could just fix myself another one. She was so rude I asked if she could at least say sorry for embarrassing me like that and she went on with her excuses because I had a black plate. It wasn’t my fault I wasn’t given the salad plate in the first place. And since it was my first time visiting Shakey’s I wasn’t even aware I needed it in the first place. Im very upset and embarrassed with the leadership here.

Had lunch at your location on PCH in Torrance,CA…their was one half of a cheese pizza..2 slice of pepperoni pizza. 2 pieces of chicken left…salad bar was dirty…pizza was under cooked…we were waiting for pizzas to be made…and watched a employee come shift come behind the counter in front of buffet putting her hair in a bun…Yuck….?
