My attempts to provide Estela de Lianos, VP of Operations Support, Sustainability and Chief Environmental Officer, an email related to technology that would reduce combustion emission by at least 96%, required getting an email address for her or her assistant.
No less than seven phone calls have been made involving holds from 4 to 11 minutes.
After the eighth try I was told to call the energy services line at 800 644 6133. After two tries, I was told to call the main number, 619 696 2000, I have called three more times without reaching anyone. Is there anyone at Sempra Energy that is concerned about major reductions in emissions? This process has been used in Wlimington, DE.
It can be seen processing emissions on a diesel engine on a YouTube presentation.

To whom it may concern:
One of the most frustrating aspects of attempting to resolve a simple issue is when one encounters people who are steadfastly inflexible. This was the case this morning at about 7:10 AM when I called your meter reading department. Several suggestions were presented to one of your representatives and all were summarily dismiss.
Your reader has not been able to read the meter at a home which I own. The previous readings were estimates and the meter reading at about 7:45 AM was (5 7 0 6) well behind your last reading
1) Offered to email a picture…dismissed
2) Requested to have the meter reader call me about an hour before he came…no
3) Asked at approximately what time he would come…basic answer was whenever he gets there.
You are in business to serve your customers. We are not here for your convenience. Enough time has been wasted by me on this issue. This is my last attempt. If it remains unresolved I will have the gas turned off.
