I work at Select on Dennison Ave in Columbus Ohio. The upper management team Kevin Hellondollar CNO, George charge nurse other Charge nurse’s Donna Burnette. etc. They all have their one favorite employee Kelly Little this employee works 7 days a week when her shift is Weekend only. I have signed up several shifts and have been, not needed but Kelly Little also picked up was brought in to work. I am not the only employee that was not needed for an extra shift so she can work. There have been times when whoever is in charge that she is going home FMLA. leaving the other workers the work the whole house. The workers misuse the FMLA. Majority of them come in looking just fine then see a area that they don’t want to work and go home, or if they get into it with another worker or charge nurse they just say I’m out FMLA. and leave walking down the hall cussing. They have the unit secretaries working as sitters. Which is not in there job description. The nurse’s and tech have no togetherness. The Unit secretaries sit and have to beg to for their breaks like they owe them something. I will not recommend this place to anyone as good place to work. They have employees that no call and no show.They just walk off and be gone for months then they are right back like they never left. The person was telling everyone that she quit. then was back laughing at how she played them and they let her come back. They need someone from Corporate as undercover to just see all the mess that is going on. This is the most unorganized business I have every worked at. I hope things get better because this place is loosing and going to loose a lot of good workers. I know nothing will be done but I definately feel good getting it off my chest. I makes me leary about even transferring to another one of your establishments due to working for this particular locations.
I know what you mean Management , chooses their favorites to do everything and let them get away with everything. Certain things that most people would get fired for and even says in handbook etc. would be immediate termination , but Kevin knows and overlooks ( if they are 1 of this pets )…….they treat certain people like crap and do not care that employees get harassed in many ways, Kevin doesn’t care as long as it his pet or his kind, and he has got his pet Stacia doing the same thing. He knows of many things that have been done and he doesn’t care because 1 they are his kind and 2 as long as there is a body to fill the spot. there is so much more to be said
