Hello to whom it may concern, I have issues with not being able to be provided with my electric outage on paper. I experienced power outage between 10 hours or more. I had to leave my home with my for kids age ranging from 5 to 11 due to power loss. I would not give my children food that was in my frigerator that had been sitting in a danger zone temperature. I’m pretty sure if you have kids you wouldn’t want them to eat anything that have been sitting in the danger zone also. To assist me with my needs I’m basically trying to get info from SCE&G where I pay light bill to on a monthly basis to show proof of my outage in order for me to be reimburse for the Lost food that we can no longer eat. With the flooding and power outage we were affected by the hurricane drastically. I would love to speak with someone with a heart about this situation

My service was disconnected 8 hours after Scana received payment and now wants to charge me a $70 reconnection fee. Can someone explain to me how this is fair or just?

It’s sad to know that after having service for over 2 years, some late payments but never had service interrupted. My service was cut off for a balance due of $52.48. I have my 96 yr old grandmother in the home. You immediately disconnect my service but now I have to wait 6 days to reconnect my service pay an additional $200 and jump through hoops. It’s not fair, I’m going too file a complaint and expose what’s really going on. What are we supposed to do for the next six days? It’s not right and I’m going to take this further.
