Ceres, ca save mart is a great disappointment. They dropped the ball on us after making everything good and making me feel good about getting what I needed for my daughters wedding (flowers) they cancelled my order and told me it was to close to Mother’s Day. 10 days before Mother’s Day is when I needed the flowers. 10 DAYS! They require ordering 10 DAYS prior to when u need them. Now I have to wait 10 DAYS for my money back. Anyone else see something wrong with this other than me & everyone I’ve told. Corporate says it’s an “ electronic” thing. Bill crap! It took u a minute to take my money. So it should take maybe 2 minutes to give it back. Christian at the corporate office said she would take my complaint and send it to whoever and they will review it. So I interpreted. It that she basically told me F U ur guna wait 10 days and I’m just like ARE YOU FRICKIN KIDDING ME. Bad move corporate office worker. Bad move. I prolly won’t ever go back to that store again. Such a discriminating feelin. I got. Yes I felt discriminated against. NEVER AGAIN!!

No luck hiring me well I went back to Los Angeles got a job at a condo in century City worked there for 13 yrs 1996 got a job offer in Nashville TN at a record label worked there for 7 yrs got payed off 3 yrs I worked for liberty mutual insurance 2007 got a job working for Publix supermarket worked there 14 1/2 yrs retired 2011. Ukiah California Luckys store. 11/14/2018 At 8:20 pm . Junior the manager who I always really liked came up to me with another manager and TOLD me I bounced a check with no I’d 2 weeks ago . When I said impossible because I don’t own checks he told me it WAS me. I asked to see video and he said it’s not for my eyes only managers. He also threatened to 86 me from store and embarrassed me by talking about some pipe dream event that was not me in an aisle. He bullied me, threatened me , said I was a liar -and embarrassed me . From the neighborhood Nextdoor Listserv, I understand your Corporate HR Department is (outrageously) considering FIRING an excellent, hard-working 17-year (SEVENTEEN YEAR) employee of the Montclair Lucky Store (store 734) Tang, due to Tand confronting a theif stealing liquor and steaks on Wednesday, January 3, 2017.
Have you ever been in the midst of a crime Well, I have and one does not think clearly and one does not always think of the fine print of an employee handbook. IF YOU FIRE TANG, your corporation will receive massive negative publicity.
It is so very disturbing to think you would fire this great employee for confronting a thief.
I ask you to immediate assure this employee that he is valued BY THE CUSTOMERS and by the store and he absolutely is secure in his job.

I was in your store tonight (8/24/2017) minding my business being your customer when passing by in one of the isles girl walks by me with a dog on a leash that licked my bare leg as I was wearing shorts. This dog was not a service dog (not that a service dog belongs in your store either unless it’s for the blind) as it had no service dog indicators. The next time I’m spending $300 at your store and I even see a dog, I will right there where ever it may be leave my full shopping cart and head to Kingsburg Super Market where they don’t allow animals. You’ll be out my $300 and whatever time it takes for your employee’s to put everything back. I shouldn’t have to take a shower just because I visited your store. Don’t contact me, just fix it. Or don’t. Whatever you like.

Dear Mr. Picinnini, My wife lost her purse in the Union City store on Industrial and a manager returned her purse to her with money, phone and credit cards intact within an hour or two of losing it where she works at the Home Depot next door. She shops there regularly and definitely will continue. I just want to thank the management and staff for their excellent and above and beyond service and integrity. This directly reflects on the manager, asms and store staff. I just want to thank you and hope you give the staff of this store a good word. I’m currently employed with save mart 88 there is a lot of favoritism I sometimes feel the need to hide or avoid the my store manager because I feel I’m being watched by him I find it frowned upon that every thing is handled unprofessional I’m human I make mistakes like every other fellow co worker how ever my mistakes have been pointed out on the sales floor which makes me feel humiliated and embarrassed I’m there are times when I’ve been given a hard time when requesting days off for dr.s appointments our store manager is only nice to the people he likes and those people are usually the ones who get weekends off and set 40 hours and overtime and they have very little seniority

The Truckee CA store is a joke!!! The manager Jose is a lazy no good manager. He cusses and yells at the employees. I don’t care what he’s brought or the numbers are good. A LAWSUIT is forthcoming if they don’t do something about him. He sits in his office and plays a card game sometimes for hours while screaming at employees to do his job. I feel sorry for the asst. manager who is a great guy and he does all his work. How is it Jose has holiday weekends off while other employees are told there is no way. Even employees with more seniority. To get respect one must earn it. And Jose gets NO respect. My whole family and friends now shop at Safeway. I love SaveMart and last night I was very, very impressed. It was very late and my friend and I had been shopping for things for my aunts funeral. We stopped at McDonald’s and I needed to go to Savemart. She let ne out and I went in and got a few things. When I was leaving I was so impressed a young man walked me to the car so I would not walk out in the dark by myself. Kudos to that young man and Savemart in Visalia on Acres and Walnut.
You can always count on them for good products, very nice produce, and friendly faces. Love this store.

This letter is to voice my discontempt with the Discriminatory Racial Profiling Practices of your Redwood City, Ca. (Sequoia Station) store. This appears to be common practice that is not ONLY VISIABLE to me an African American customer but too many other NON HISPANIC persons in need.
It is so, blatant that I can no longer hold my tongue. Because, two male Hispanic employees by the name of (Dice) and your Store Manager by the name of Dave Puris. Both of whom I believe have become so accustom racial profiling, public humiliation, defamation of character, slander and discriminatory race based practices based upon a person’s national origin.
Particularly your Store Clerk named (Dice) I‘ve had numerous encounters with him similar to this one. He’s has been constantly FALSELY ACCUSING me of shop lifting when ALL my purchases can be accurately accounted for by my EBT card!
Seems as if (Dice) and your Store Manager by the name of Dave Puris have totally disassociated themselves from the rest of the community, and somehow believe that they themselves are ABOVE the law.
I’m sure this IS NOT THE TYPE OF NEGITAVIE PUBLIC RELATIONS THE LUCKY’S STORE CHAIN is interested in being associated with during negotiation in the store chains purchase. Nor are these the type of employees that Lucky’s Stores would be interested in brings aboard after the buyout!
I have you to know that they are not ABOVE THE LAW and I will no longer tolerate this type of racial profiling, public humiliation, defamation of character, slander and discriminatory race based practices.
As I experienced on May 14, 2015 at 7:30 am was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Because I suffer from several chronic and painful medical conditions I’m always trying to slip away to no though zone. So, I did as I always do eat breakfast and read the previously purchase or disorganized USED newspaper on the stand.
This is something that I HAVE DONE ROUTINELY FOR MONTHS.
Something that ALL of the regular customers do on a daily basis!
We ALL read the exact same used previously purchased newspaper then place it back on the shelve when we are done eating our meal!
However this time presented a problem for Store Clerk (Dice) whom confronted me in and VERY AGGRESSIVE and CONDISENDING TONE and stated, “Did you pay for that newspaper.”
I then stated:” No I did not”
Then Dice directed me to return the newspaper back to the shelf which I did, and then he proceeded to tell me that I was BANDED from the store. And he was calling the police on me to get me ARRESTED! I could not believe my ears so I asked to speak to the Store Manager Dave Puris.
To my total disbelief when Store Manager Dave Puris showed up he was in TOTAL AGREEMENT with Store Clerk (Dice) decision to BAND me from the store.
I could not believe what I was hearing considering I use to shop at this particular Safeway EVERYDAY breakfast, lunch and dinner, and never had a problem like this one!
So, now I’m BANDED from the store like a common CRIMINAL as if I STOLE SOMETHING!
EXTREMELY, harsh punishment for someone just reading a USED newspaper while they enjoyed their meal don’t you think!
It doesn’t appear to me that you’re Store Manager Dave Puris or your Store Clerk (Dice) understand or can conception Alize the concept of thinking outside the box!
I asked to speak to the supervisor and she was just as in the dark about federal guidelines as her employee that really disturbed me so much that I thought you need to know before any other ADA, Civil Rights and Discrimination Complaints comes flying across your desk!
This was the last thing someone in pain wasn’t to hear when there trying to get medical treatment.
But, that was exactly what I heard from both of your key Public Service staff members.
That’s utterly applauding two heads cannot come up with one federal rule!
With this in mind I believe that the end result is that I’ve been civility wronged victimized AS IF I WERE A LIKE A SECOND CLASS in this country. Instead a decedent of one a Contractor who helped to construct and build the actual structure in which this store resides!
Needless, to say this is a matter in which I will be reporting to the ACLU, Urban league and the NAACP and various other agencies for Civil Rights Violations.
It’s unfortunate but necessary to ensure equal access to ALL resources for ALL qualifying parties.
