I purchased a bed for my Son and about 4 years ago and he is just now telling me that the top of the mattress has sunken in. Useless customer service reps and I have to say useless manager because though I was told a manager would get back to me within a day or two – I guess they count differently than the rest of the world – another week and still no supervisor. After reaching out them this company to get a new mattress being that it still has over 10 years left on the warranty – a CSR told me that I would have to pay $187.00 for a faulty mattress and that they would repair the bed. I asked for a manager which I am still waiting to hear back. I began reaching out to this company last year when my Son told me of the unsatisfactory mattress. I don’t have a large following but my cousin does so away to my cousin I go. I have heard after 10+ years beds begin to sink/sag/fold in the middle of the mattress but I have never heard a mattress sink/sag/fold at the top of the bed lengthwise. I am glad that I had returned my other mattress purchased on a different invoice/order which is also in question. I would love to talk to Ron Rudzin or Ricky Joshi or Kris Brower to inform them on how their product is going out and then the warranty is not being honored. Why should I have to pay twice, I paid for the bed in full when I ordered it. If you do not use quality material or have the certified personnel to do a correct job GET OUT OF THE MATTRESS BUSINESS AND GO BACK TO SELLING FURNITURE. I have sat quickly since last year but I refuse to let this go. I will inform the public on the experience I had and pictures to show the craftsmanship of this company. I shake my head to the CSRs and to a company that doesn’t ensure that their product is customer ready. My Son is an adult so it is not like he was jumping on the bed most of the time he is not even home to sleep in the bed. The bed did not seem of great quality when it was delivered – I guess I got what I paid for. A cheap priced bed and the CSR and quality to go with it. This is clear HORRIBLE quality. BAD MATTRESS SAATVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had to return two mattresses due to them sinking in and prematurely loosing shape. I am now waiting on my 3rd replacement. This is ridiculous for the amount of money that we have paid for these mattresses. My experience with customer service has been amazing; I have always gotten great customer service. However, I do believe that these mattresses are being damaged during the storage and delivery process. These are expensive, top of the line mattresses and they are using subpar delivery services. My 3rd replacement mattress came to my house damaged today and I refused the delivery. They laid it on the bed and it wouldn’t lay flat on my bed, and the top seemed to be inflated and grossly out of shape. The delivery guy had the audacity to say “Just put weight on it.” I said “Sir, these mattresses are not cheap and you can take this one back.” This has all been very stressful and a great inconvenience for me, because I have osteoarthritis and their mattresses were highly recommended to me. Corporate please address these issues or completely refund my money. Sincerely, Unhappy Customer

We were so excited to order. Mattress and sis not mind waiting a couple of weeks. It has turned into a month and no one from saatva or White Hawk transportation will return phone calls or emails. We have called numerous times and Saatva customer support always says they will call us back but never do. We will not recommend the company or White Hawk. I do not care how great the mattress is. Actually if it is not delivered tomorrow we are canceling our order and demanding our money back. This is the poorest ran company we have ever dealt with. No communication, no mattress, and out of patience.
Mary says
Did you end up getting the mattress? When did it arrive?
Nina Goody says
I ordered a mattress and mattress cover. Your order # 19000703401 in late September and specifically stated it is for a new home I’m closing on 10/16 so my mattress can’t be delivered until after that date. You sent the cover via UPS right away, it was returned undeliverable. I got an email on 9/25 the mattress was being delivered on 10/9. I tried calling it went into voice mail that stated to send an email. I did reply to the email, never got a reply, you shipped it anyway! The carrier contacted me and I was able to get them to hold it until after I close. I still have no idea where the mattress cover is. No one calls back, no one replies to voice mail or email. The carrier gave me the cell # of their contact. She was nice, not in customer service but said she’d have someone call me right back. No one did. I am worried I bought this mattress from an unreliable company and I hope I don’t have problems with it because clearly I’ll have to get a lawyer involved to get satisfaction. I want answers. I want to know where that mattress cover I paid for is and when it will re-ship?

I am having the same problem. Ordered a mattress on June 9th supposedly it was at the transportation site on June 28th. We have called the transportation place their mail box is full and was told to send email. We have never gotten a reply. Called saavta numerous times over two weeks. We are always told they will call us back as soon as they find out what the problem is. Still no return calls or a mattress. Tomorrow is last day. Give us our money back.

Hello Saavta,
I was very excited to make the purchase for one of your queen size beds. I knew it would take longer for a delivery bed rather than going to a store, but I thought it would be worth it. I was recommended by a family member and I did a little research on my own.
My husband and I just moved to a new place and we have been sleeping on a very uncomfortable air mattress. We didn’t realize we would have this much back pain.
After ordering the bed, Saatva was supposed to call us to setup a delivery time. They never did. No problem. We called to let them know our availability. They made note and said they would try to let the delivery team know. They gave us a 12pm – 4pm window which is bad for working people, but we said we would make accommodations for 2pm by leaving work early. On the day of delivery (Thursday 10/24) they called me at 12:30pm stating they would be there soon and since I said there was no one home yet they said we would have to reschedule!
I called Saatva customer service to try to figure out how we could get our bed. I’m dreading the fact that we may have to wait another day. They called the delivery team (Nehds), but they said that they could not come back until 10/29 (5 days later) and still with no conformation on a specific delivery time. I’m sure you guys have wonderful beds, but I don’t understand your delivery methods. If we don’t know when we can get the bed delivered then what’s the point? The customer service woman (Samantha) was polite, but offered no solutions, besides us waiting 5 more days for the same 4 hour delivery window in which we will be at work. Normally companies have a morning, afternoon and sometimes evening delivery. They didn’t even have weekend availability. 12-4 is in the heart of the day. We not retired. Who is home during those hours?
This is not the same customer service that my family member received and I was very disappointed in the lack of care and understanding to customers waiting on a very important item such as a bed. We were not offered so much as a pillow case for our inconvenience. Unfortunately we had to cancel our order so that we can go to a store or find a company who has better delivery services. We are back to the drawing board with our search.
Thank you for your time.

Sounds like the same run around we have gotten. Get us a mattress or give our money back. I think it’s a fraudulent company.

We are in the process of exchanging/returning our Saatva Luxury Firm King mattress. The one we have currently is defective and I would like to make a couple of observations as we await delivery of the new replacement mattress.
First, let me say that customer service has been superb. Everyone, without exception, has been friendly and helpful and have made it clear that Saatva wants satisfied customers.
Now to concerns: the mattress we have is so obviously defective I have real concerns about quality control. Not knowing who manufactures your mattress in this area, I would hope someone isn’t cutting corners. I really, really want to like my Saatva mattress, so I sincerely hope the next one is up to my expectation.
When this mattress was delivered, I watched as one of the delivery men pulled it out of the truck and simply let it crash onto the street. It landed on its edge after about a four foot drop and folded. Thank goodness the plastic in which it was shipped was heavy enough not to tear and to absorb damage.
Again… customer service is great and I hope every effort will be made to insure the new mattress will live up to the good reviews I have read.
Respectfully
