Hello, I’ve had service with this company over 10 years now. But now since I’ve sold my home 8 months ago and put in the request to get my panels transferred all I keep getting is same feed back from rep and supervisor. I believe my family have been more than patient thus far. I’m asking to please escalate this matter. My previous address was XXXX Liro Ln and current address is XXXX E. Kayla, Westwego. Also I was charged for three months with no solar service (gift card of $150 was sent). At this point I feel like everyone is just ignoring my request, definitely not feeling valued at all just forgotten

I have been a customer since 2015, in June of 2018 I reported leaks coming from under where my panels are installed. After a service tech came out it was noticed that the anchor screws to hold the rail system down had several misses and can be seen along side the rafters. The tech at that time removed the entire system and reinstalled it, the leak issue seemed to have been fixed. Fast forward to 2022, On April 7 I noticed again water spots coming through my ceiling under where the panels are installed. I had called the Posigen customer service number and spoke to someone who took my info and said a ticket was submitted with my issue. I didn’t hear back from anyone so I called again, sounded like the same women answered and I explained I didn’t hear from anyone. I also emailed Thien-Nhi Tran on April 7 whom had sent me info once before about monitoring my system so I figured maybe they could help me get a good contact. He had told me Account Manager Andrea Peters would be calling me. As of April 11 no one had called me back and I email Thien again, finally after that email I received a call from Andrea who simply stated “call your home owners insurance company and file a claim, that will take care of it”. After she said that I nearly exploded I was so angry that this was the response I got. I emailed Pat Sheridan, he responded that he would send someone out. Cahal “Bud” McMicken came out and removed a few panels and made some repairs which took care of a few of the areas that were leaking but not all. We contacted Bud again and he came out and told us he was sending this to his senior people and recommending roof replacement because of the bad install. Bud got back to us saying he had the contractor Posigen uses to replace roofs coming by to look over the job and to quote a price to have the entire front side of the roof replaced by Posigen. At this time I had no plans on replacing the roof on my house but because of the situation and Posigen replacing the front my wife and I decided to ask the roofer to give us a quote on having the back of the roof replaced and we would pay for that half. The roofer got back to us with a quote and we accepted. As I was looking on the Posigen website I noticed Solar Shingles were advertised so on 5/3/22 I emailed Pat Sheridan asking about the new shingle system Posigen offers and if there was a way I can upgrade to them. I figured with the old system off the roof now would be a good time to see if we can install this new shingle system and that it would be a “less evasive” install for lack of a better term rather than putting the old rail system back up and possibly creating the same situation again. On 5/7 I reached out again to Pat because I did not receive a response from him regarding my previous email asking about the shingle system. On May 10 I emailed Pat again expressing my disgust with not hearing back from someone on the shingle system. Meanwhile this put a hold on the new roof because Bud said I would need to start from scratch and that Posigen Sales would need to reach out and start the process all over again to see if we could get the new system and design it if I could. But all along I never received any calls from sales, I also reached out via the customer service request on the website and again no response. So finally I gave up and told Bud to just have the roofers come and get the new roof on, this now leads into the second half of the story.
So after about a month or two of excuses from the roofer he finally shows up on a Tuesday after 12pm drops of materials and says he would be back tomorrow. Wednesday comes, he shows up around 1230pm, he pulled the back shingles off and laid the under lament down and again left for the day at 430pm. The overnight forecast was calling for heavy rain, the last thing the roofer said to me was you are weather tight for the night and we may be back tomorrow if it clears up. So at around 4am Thursday morning my wife woke up to water coming in our bedroom and water POURING in through the light fixture above our kitchen sink. I checked the attic and saw that the entire back roof area had water coming in at various points, the rain water soaked right through the paper that was put down. I called the roofer who said “its never happened before” and that he would come as soon as the weather cleared up. I then sent an email to Pat and Bud with pictures of the damage and what was going on. Bud called me quickly, I was furious at this point and told him that the roofers needed to be fired! He said he would get on it and get back to me. I told him I should not have to be responsible for this as Posigen are the ones who sent this roofer and I would not be in the situation I’m in if the install wasn’t done poorly to begin with. I only hired the roofer because it only made sense to do so under the circumstances. I received a call from Pat who told me that Posigen wasn’t responsible because I hired the roofers, I repeatedly told him I wouldn’t have if Posigen hadn’t messed up the install in the first place. Pat told me Posigen isn’t responsible for the contractors they send to someone’s house. I again lost it as I was furious with his responses to this entire situation.
I received a call from Bud who gave me the number for Barry Vial after I had asked for someone in a higher position. Barry again told me they were not responsible for the roofers because I hired them to replace the back of the roof and Posigen was only responsible for the front. I explained to him as calmly as I could that I would not be in this situation had Posigen installed the rails correctly and that I had no plans on replacing my roof this year. The call ended with Barry telling me they would tarp the roof as a show of good faith and they would send out Ored who does work for Posigen. On Friday June 10 a crew came out, tarped the roof and measured it. I was told by Bud that I should hear back with the next steps. Monday came and went I heard nothing, Tuesday came and by 4pm I sent Bud a text asking for any updates and as of 1120am today June 15 I have not heard back.
All the while I have blue tarps on my roof, no new roof, no solar panels (which I’m still getting billed for) and no updates on what is going on.
I cant understand how or why a company would treat their customer this way? How do you not have direct contact info so people can get in touch with who they need to? How can Posigen employees simply ignore customers?
A Very Disgusted Customer,

They never return calls, they do not keep up with maintenance, they do not do anything but collect your money. I have reached out to them since last summer they will contact me after a couples months promising me to send someone out to see what is going on and then I hear nothing else. I start the process over and it just keeps repeating itself like Ground Hogs day.

Sold me a bill of goods and then they walked away. I live in a 1800 sq foot home and my app says one thing as far as production and my electric bill has not changed. Connecticut home owners stay away. The lower electric bill they stated has not happened. Been online since July 2016. Absolutely no savings at all. Between my electric bill and their fee I save 3 dollars a month. Harry their rep told me to be more conservative that was his answer. Harry how about I shut the main off to my house. This is the answer I get . Their salesperson showed me a bill one year ago from another customer when they were selling me. Well it was false and misleading. Even their commercials on tv are stating no bills. I am contacting the CEO and the attorney general in Connecticut. Email me I will be glad to give you the details of what a run around we have got. Connecticut residents. Stay away !!!!!!
