Piccadilly Public House goes back to 1900, when the building was originally used as a grocery store warehouse for local grocery stores. The building retains its original brick walls and wood floors, although the remainder of the building has been restored.
The company originally started off as a pub, but decided that the former “public house”, as it was called, should return to its roots by feeding the public. The building now has two sections, a full service restaurant, as well as a pub. An outdoor patio features a big screen television, which offers sports games on weekends, as well as providing space for smokers.
Piccadilly Public House sits in a historic area of Winchester, Virginia, including the outdoor Loudoun mall, the B&O Railroad station, and the Timbrook Public Safety Building.

This afternoon I made my first on-line order to Piccadilly Restaurant in Newport News, Va. I thought it would be faster and more efficient on line as on a Sunday sometimes there are many people waiting to be served. I ordered and paid for my meals and left home a little earlier to make certain that everything would go smoothly. We got there and I gave the lady my receipt. She looked confused, but went to the kitchen to see if the order was filled. It was not filled, and I noticed that we could have gone on line 2 or 3 times instead and would have been eating already, I asked again where was our meals & the cashier said I should be patient as it was a busy Sunday. The reason I ordered on line was so I wouldn’t have to wait, and to add insult to injury, they got part of my order wrong. Only one server was nice to help expedite our order, and I wish I had taken her name. Needless to say, I was not happy with the service and will probably not attempt it in the future.

Good Day ,
On Saturday May 18, 2019 I had a small luncheon approx.15 people @ the Public House National Harbor 2pm. This was for my daughters college graduation. I must say the managers at this restaurant were very nice . Prior to the party I went to see a manager on Thursday May 16th. she was exceptionally polite. I explained my daughter sent out e-vites for Saturday , didn’t realize you couldn’t make reservations for the weekend. Web-site is misleading. The manager said she would accommodate us.
Saturday at luncheon was a total mess. I believe Joey ( server ) didn’t have much experience with a large group. He didn’t get order correct with appetizers, when they came out he didn’t give us small plates. We sat there till I went to main dinning area and looked for Joey ( server ) or manager. Finally manager came and he was helpful. The sprite soda was just seltzer had to ask a few times for different soda for my grandson.
We split the check 2 ways myself and X-husband . Thinking everything was ok this morning May 23rd I went to pay my credit card bill and noticed I was charged full amount on card. However on my receipt it was only 173.87. it must of gone in 2x because on my discover statement $347.37. Mr .Kanya ‘s card was charged 1 x but must of been reversed. Maybe they caught it at the restaurant later that day. Thank goodness Mr. Kanya and I figured this out . I just wanted to bring this to your attention. I was so disappointed with the whole situation.
Thank you ,
Ms. Suzanne Kanya
