I don’t remember what phone I had at the time and as a result I can’t change password because a verification code would go to a phone number I don’t know. PayPal is the worst. They put my account on hold for three days and asked for documents to prove the banks were in my name. I gave it to them n then they put my account on limitations to where I had to wait for 180 days to get my money out of my account. Well the 180 days is past due, got thier emails saying to transfer it. Such liers. I go to transfer out of it and they tell me I have to wait another 180 days. That’s another 6 months. Tried calling headquarters to PayPal they disconnected all their numbers. What company holds your money for 180 days n disconnects their numbers to the head quarters?? Looking for any kind of help to get my money released.

I have been trying to move my own money from PayPal to my bank and was denied. I was told my account was locked and the system needed 48 to 72 hours to update I’m order for those funds to be available again. I waited the 72 hour to be safe and my transaction was denied again. I called and was told the exact same thing once again. I have been trying to withdraw my money from PayPal for a week and have not been able to. It has gotten to the point where paypal will not even let me withdraw from a store anymore. I am stuck and customer service is of no help. The funds I am withdrawing are for my new rental that I only have so much time to pay before we lose it and have no where to live. This is putting my families safety at risk.

Looking at some of these complaints. Its no wonder I am trying to reach corporate as well for a problem in the financial area of Paypal. I used my card to make a train ticket purchase and cancelled my trip. The train company issued my refund but Paypal is claiming they paid me twice for the refund when they did not. PayPal work well, when it works.
But, when PayPal doesn’t work, it becomes an example of”high tech running amok.” Their “Customer Support” (Conflict Resolution?) center is an example of a company having lost its way by becoming “lost in the rapture on the Internet.” One starts having to contend with robots (aka) ChatBots. All they can do is regurgitate canned text based on certain key words you have entered. Eventually, after a lot of back and forth, you get dumped into a pool of people, with names varying with each response. Apparently, there is no mechanism for one person to take “ownership” and solve the problem. More back and forth, with no one reading the history, so you have to constantly repeat what was said earlier. Clearly, in these situations a short telephone call with a live person could solve the problem. But, no! They don’t call, even when PayPal promises a call back. Conversely, you cannot reach them. The number given to call just spouts out a recording to go to their website and then hangs up.
In Short: Unless there is a absolute compelling need to use PayPal, DON’T!

I filed a dispute about an unauthorized transaction through Paypal. I also brought the issue to the seller’s attention. The seller wants to make a full refund, and contacted me. apparently, they cannot make payment BECAUSE PAYPAL CLOSED THE CASE. I have tried to reopen the case and reach a person at Paypal. Both are impossible. Your HELP on the Paypal website is as atrocious as the Paypal phone system. Both are clearly set up to frustrate, NOT assist the customer.
After today’s experience, you can be sure that I won’t be using my Paypal credit card more than I have to.

Fortunately, my Discover card was linked to my Paypal account, and the transaction went to them. I had a real person on the line within seconds of calling Discover. The problem was fixed within a minute. As I said, I won’t be using my Paypal card more than I have to, Discover, on the other hand, will get all my business.

Worst experience ever. Not only did not 1 of their csr’s give me conflicting information. No, 3 of them did, including the supposed “manager” . This company does not provide solutions but rather, exacerbates the problem. I asked the manager to speak to her immediate supervisor and she told me, she is as high up as they go. WOW. Incompetence at its best. No one there is on the same page. They clearly need some serious csr training and conflict resolution training. There is a reason I use Venmo, and other payment sites, as this company really needs to train their employees to PROVIDE SOLUTIONS and results. They do not give a damn about their clients.

I agree with you completely!!!! I have been trying to pay my “promotional balances” off before interest would accrue each month. When I receive my monthly statement I ALWAYS call customer service and get confirmation of the total amount needed to pay in full. I receive the amount and pay more than what is required. In April I paid over $3,300.00 to avoid interest. Called again for my May statement and paid over $660.00 to avoid interest. Just received my statement for payment due in June and they reversed over $1,800.00 in promotional interest charges. I called and spoke to a rep who I could not understand their english and was transferred to someone else who could not understand why this happened. She had no idea why the promotional interest charges were reversed. I was talking with her for over 29 minutes until the line went dead. They have misapplied over $4,000 in payments and I still can’t get anyone to help. Worst company EVER!!!!! I want my money back.

I have an account with paypal. went to use it 3 weeks ago and could not log on. Was told there was fraud and so they closed the account and recreated it. Since then I have not been able to logon. Multiple calls and hours spent trying to get help logging on or to close my account and get my money back

I have had the worst experience in my life and still nothing is being done about it. I had a group of hackers take over my phone and life so I’m trying to pull all cash sense they had gotten everything out of my bank so I went online and explained it the best I could I begged for a call but I keep getting told link to my bank well I could they changed all my passwords the hackers have and had it to where nothing would link it would say try again later. I sent 4-5 hours in the parking lot in my car getting no where. I was told then I didn’t have any money in PayPal anywhere and I ask than why did I take insurance out a few months ago they said they didn’t sell insurance and they said later I needed to file a claim with the insurance lol. Today after all this time late last night I found the hackers myself and I hurried this morning to tell PayPal to only see a piece of paper that I screen shot telling PayPal to delete everything they had talked about and come to find out he had my money. PayPal panics offers me a lot of nothing and one was a picture from my phone so I look and they had gone on there and stole the picture that I took. I still can’t link hankers all over my page and I’m told it will be 30 days. I want my $1550 on my card today but I can’t even get them now. What do you do. I’m calling corporate to share this with before I guess I have to look for an attorney. I mean Apple stayed on the phone with me. Upset in Alabama

I do not sell anything that is illegal, no vape pens or marijuana vape cartridges and I don’t sell any tobacco products. I contacted them and they told me I violated there selling policy, they told me that my product would hurt the reputation of paypal REALLY a smoking pipe kit. I didn’t get no warning from them what so ever., they just sent me an email saying account is now limited (How do you say limited, when I cant use paypal at all anymore, that is called can not use permanently anymore)I cant even use paypal to purchase anything anymore. There are thousands of people selling all types of tobacco accessories on ebay and other sites using paypal as a payment method but they don’t target anyone who is selling dangerous things such as knives,guns, tasers, bullets etc…PayPal do the right thing and reverse your decision

I think we should file a class-action lawsuit against Paypal. They have you on hold for 20, 30 or 45 minutes at a time, then they do have Indionesian/foreign “agents” who definitely do not know what they are talking about. Somehow $10.00 showed up in my account, and I do not know from where or how it got there, but it asked me to accept it my dash board, so I did just like other times when money is sitting there. Somehow there was no money and now I am getting charged NSF from my financial institution because of a glitch or problem that Paypal caused!

In addition to having issues with fraudulent sellers, the delay in holding funds per their customers has to violate a host of Trade issues!! I am very disappointed in Paypal. As I sit here on hold for an hour waiting to speak to a supervisor in a “special department”. They owe me over $100.00 and I have spent endless hours on hold attempting to rectify the problems they created. I sent them a check to cover a shortage. They cashed it and never applied it to my account even after they confirmed they got it. I sold a pair of shoes on ebay shipped them to the buyer and Paypal refunded them their money without me having any knowledge or requesting the refund. So, I’m out the shoes and the payment along with the money I sent them via check. This is awful. Who can I contact to get get this rectified? This has sealed my fate of ever selling anything on eBay and doing business with paypal. It’s scary that they can just go into my account and do as they please.

I have been a loyal PayPal customer since 2001. Out of the clear blue, PayPal put funds on hold. I have been on the phone with PayPal customer service over an hour. They can’t give me legitimate reason for this hold and will not release funds, so I requested the funds be sent back to Ebay buyer and cancel my account. Pay pal seemed to be relying on a company called Lexis Nexus they’re very well known they’re massive, who lawyers and cities rely on for business information and some information about people.
But they’re not a credit reporting bureau so they have no obligation for their details to be correct.

In our Case paypal’s asking for details with our name, except 300 people have our name, Douglas Lang… if you include a middle name only one in the entire country- me.

I made a purchase thru pay pal 3 weeks ago, called pay to file a dispute. Agent told me to call back in a week to escalate and i did that today via the automated system……mind you im sitting at a hospital waiting for my wife to get into recovery so i was not shouting into the phone….automated pay pal system canceled my claim….INSTEAD OF ESCALATING THE CLAIM!!! It did this without giving me the usual verification prompt!!! Call custom service A.S.A.P. and 1st was told by not only a regular representative but also a Manager that i have to call my credit credit card to get my $$ back!!! Manager laughed when i was not satisfied with pay pals system cancelling with no fault to myself and refused to do a single thing to help a 14yr customer!! She refused to give me any higher up Management info or anything!!! This is absolutely ridiculous!!! They make the process of getting in touch with a live human person that getting any real customer support!!! So if pay pal wants to stand by some bullcrap about not being able to fix this issue is insane. Why use pay pal if any little bump in the road they tell the customer take a hike.

So a week or so ago I decided to sell my old computer parts and eBay ordered PayPal to hold my funds even though I have been a seller on eBay since 2007 , just never had anything to sell .
So I had my Bank account linked to PayPal and they were dipping in it to pay eBay the shipping label fees which are supposed to come out of the money for the item sold, so I had to unlink it, then when I tried to link it back PayPal started jerking me around and one employee told me I had to pay WALMART if I wanted my money, or refund it to the buyers and try get it some other way.

I made two transactions…The first in Dec. with a Chinese company and two baseball jackets, that were the wrong size and did not fit. They said I had to return the jackets totaling $113 back to CHINA, and then they would return $30, which is the most they can give back.I figured I would just send them back to the CEO certified return receipt! now, I purchased 2 quilts from JAPCozy for $59 each. This woman then billed me for 2 more, and played stupid and said call PayPal for refund. Like the first lady on this page, they sent me to 3 Walgreens and one CVS to buy the Google Play Cards!. $450, $415, $415, and $100…This all to get $129 back and I only received 1 quilt. When I tried to call the CEO’S number, I was looking at the phone and the phone number I dialed changed right before my eyes. I am trying to work with the bank and they are not helping. It appears that our phone calls are being intercepted by another group of Asian people. This is when I realized the Baseball jackets were the same ploy! I find it impossible to think the CEO, Daniel Schulman could be this stupid that he doesn’t know this is happening. These may be his call centers as I asked one person where he worked out of and he said the Philipines! Have you seen the you tube of Schulman saying that we as CEO”S have a moral obligation to deal with what needs to be changed! Why can’t we have a class action suit! Pay pal is literally has THE WORST customer service experiences I have ever had to encounter in my life. I have worked for many call centers and I have came to the conclusion that pay pal is the absolute worse . I had a purchase I made through a merchant that I needed disputed because I never received the item in the time it stated it would take to come. The representative Jennifer ( personal telephone number 18337100111 extension 1010 ) advised me that I would need to purchase a google play card in order to get my refund back ( which did not make sense what so ever in the first place ) but I followed directions and did so, this cost me 50$ out of pocket that I was told I would be refunded back . I purchased the card, provided her with the numbers on the back and she advised me the numbers did not work and I would need to purchase two more. Now at this point I’m very confused because this purchase was made with PayPal but from my direct debit card. Scratched the back of them off and provided the numbers to the rep. ( Mind you I had to keep going back and fourth to the store ) . After providing both number on the back of both of the google play cards she THEN told me AGAIN ( after she promised me she was such a woman of her word and she promised I would not need to purchase anymore ) that the numbers on the card did not work . She then threw me on the phone with her manager who was so rude, disruptive and disrespectful by the name Marc, Marc then tried to tell me I needed to purchase 400$ worth of google play cards to get my money back !!! At this time I am pissed and I asked did hey expect for me to pull 400$ out of my a** . He then repeated exactly what I said and then told me nobody else would be able to help me . I was then put on hold with a second supervisor by the name of Chris who put me on hold for 45 minutes. This sh*t is ridiculous and PayPal is horrible . I will be making sure I inform everyone to stop using this service .

I had an issue with a buyer abusing your policies, they filed a false claim saying item was not as described. They contacted me March 23, 2019 via email to go to resolution center and respond. I did as prompted and on March 23, 2019 left my response letting them know the buyer was being fraudulent and why. which is because her return was denied through ebay so she contacted her financial institution (PAYPAL) and falsified information and added a complaint I guess to be sure you accepted it. I called PAYPAL March 26,02019 to be sure they received my information even though the website said it was submitted. For they had made the decision March 25th according to an email but the website said otherwise. Customer service then told me she does not see my reply and gave me an url to upload pictures. Why would she do that if the decision was made? Because I did respond in time. So I gathered them and submitted them the same day. I sent the item the description a picture of the entire listing and the conversation between the buyer and I. Even contacted ebay who said they would speak on my behalf if needed. I also called April 1st and the person i spoke to said they did use my submitted evidence in making the decision and that the buyer was told to send item back. I also asked did the buyer even submit any evidence of her claim cause if so it wouldn’t have held water. So thinking they finally received my info. and would use as evidence. I waited a few more days kept checking the site it kept saying being reviewed by paypal. so i’m thinking ok they looking further into it, Again thinking ok good they can see she obviously lied and was upset that ebay did not disagree with me not doing a return, which I may add it says on the listing as well NO RETURNS!. I then receive an email stating that since I did not respond in enough time paypal finds in favor of the buyer.I also called April 1st and the person I spoke to said they did use my submitted evidence in making the decision and that the buyer was told to send item back he had a little attitude. So I call again April 3, 2019 and spoke with someone who transferred me to Sam. I told Sam all that has happened he said he would escalate the claim and it looks like it would be in my favor and to keep an eye out for an email on what steps to take next. Today is April 5, 2019 I called again today to see and make sure that he did as he said he would. I spoke with Diana today and she said she would file an appeal I also let her know the item has been worn which now depreciates the value. Also I could have had the item sold I missed that money going through this whole process. This buyer is scamming the system and sellers, there is supposed to be seller protection but what do you do when when paypal doesn’t hold up on that promise of seller protection I feel this matter was not handled correctly at all and now my account is in the negative. All because the system failed to uphold the seller protection guidelines. I love paypal this is my 1st issue in 10yrs and to find out that the financial institution I truly trusted to keep my money safe and my rights have failed me is quite disappointing. I just hope the resolve this matter correctly I deserve my money back. So now i’m waiting for the outcome. Thank you for listening.

I have been getting jerked around by your customer service for about a week now… They will not allow me to transfer MY money to MY back account. Now, some of them were to verify addresses that I have not live at FOR MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS! What is so appalling about that is that I gave them my UNIQUE social security number, my UNIQUE bank account numbers, my UNIQUE email address, but because I don’t remember an address that I had 20 years ago, I did not pass your “security” check, which is bull, at best. NOW, paypal has kept my pay check for a week now.. leaving me penniless and not being able to pay my bills. And all customer “service” does is keep giving me the same tired rhetoric, making me log in and try to transfer again, so it can and they can tell me to try again in 2 more days. I sold a home theater system through PayPal. The buyer recieved and was very happy. I called Paypal to ask why there was a hold on my funds. They said because of a declined transaction for the taxes of the sale through eBay. The reason it declined was because paypal Place a hold on the funds. Now I could have to wait an additional 21 days because of absolute stupidity. The company tried to pull the taxes after they placed the initial hold on the funds. I can’t even imagine what to call that except corruption to hold on to intrested earning money

After a complaint about an order I was told to send it back turns out it came from China. I payed $62.95 to send it back. I was ask to E mail them a copy of my postal receipt. Because one of the 9’s on the carbon copy is not showing I am now required to go to the post office and get a clear copy. Well after dealing with this for quite awhile being hung up on several times on several occasions asking to speak to a manager and be left on hold for over 45 min. and still no manager what kind of company has employees that hang up or just put you on hold and walk away. Hi , you may like to know that for several years I have been fighting paypal EU over them not accepting my debit and credit cards. Why, well I happen to receive all my finances in the UK in pounds sterling and live in france. my cards and bank accounts are registered here in france. However, now this has been severely escalated. Your “Tracey Smith” has now been caught out lying about the whole thing and I have been backed up by Barclays bank Fraud Department. The EU told me several years ago that I could have a UK pay pal account with my cards registered to my address in France with no problems. Now Pay pal UK have been caught out lying…or just incompetent. Certainly Barclays Fraud would like to “chat” with your respondent! Your UK ref is 6075309 over why your UK arm lied about my card and intimated that Barclays was at fault. Hopefully we, thats Barclays, myself and others can make Pay Pal sit up and listen to clients. Now, Oh dear, how high up do you have to be in your company to get away with lying to a client and putting it in writing and having it proved that you are lying!. So here goes, I have just had a lovely chat with Barclays in Sunderland about my Platignum Debit card. Mr Paul Barfoot is awaiting your call as it seems that your comments are so wrong, and that my details are correct, have been unchanged for 18 years and he would like you to telephone Barclays Fraud on +442476842100 and ask for fraud and Mr Barfoot, as there is now concern by Barclays fraud that your whole financial department has a serious malfunction to state that my details do not match. This is being confirmed in hard letter and that I shall copy and send you the original and keep one for the FO and one for myself. The Fraud Office being so concerned have just telephoned me back with further information.
I have now to send a letter confirming the above as being given by you as deliberate erroneous information and they will send me a letter confirming my name address etc. This of course will take a week or more. In the meantime I guess that someone there needs to get up and do something to rectify the situation as lying is not good. I will also need your real address so that you can have the copies of the doXXXXents sent to you. copies if requested by the FO will also be available.
This is certainly now going again to the Financial ombudsman as lies are really not on. If you lie you are either covering something up or you have not researched your project. In this case I suggest the latter.
I suggest before you utter another word that you DO contact Barclays Fraud attn Mr Paul Barfoot, as I purchased a €16000 vehicle on one of the cards some 10 years ago. Further I have also used one of the cards for other serious money actions. There are another 2 cards that I will action once my Platinum is out of the way!

We are a small business and accept payments using this crsp system. PayPal places holds on your acct until you accept 10 payments; as a small business that causes us problems and the customer service isn’t any help. Hands down we prefer Square. This PayPal system is no good.

First, I want to make this clear. I don’t not care for violence at all but this is where society has taken us. Another thing I don’t like is discrimination or as you would put it racist. I read a post on Facebook in which you have suspended multiple people associated with some right-wing groups. The problem I have with this is I bet you have not suspended any other groups like BLM or Black groups. This in itself is racist because every time a black person is killed by cops, they riot…destroying thousands of dollars worth of property but don’t hear nothing about you suspending any of those groups. WhIle I get your point, I recall the incident with the Baker very well. She did indeed have to close her shop, but not because the government or law enforcement shut her down. She shut down because the incident made the news and customers dropped like flies. Someone told me that his brother’s fiance cancelled their order (to serve 150 guests, plus a groom’s cake) because her brother is gay and it pissed her off. He told me his brother was disappointed because it was his favorite bakery, but he understood why she did it. So the Baker shut down because customers (and potential customers) were offended, which led to a lawsuit and loss of business. Chick-Fil-A suffered a loss of revenue for the same reasons. Their losses didn’t cause them to close their doors, but their public relations dept. went into overdrive after the boycott on social media began.
As for PayPal (or any other business for that matter), they can refuse to do business with any other business or individual they feel would harm their public image, cost them additional buiness or expose them to criminal prosecution ( i.e. money laundering, drug trafficking, Jeffrey Dahlmer, etc.) For example a number of businesses and organizations scheduled to hold events at Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago, cancelled their reservations after his Charlottesville, VA, comments because they felt it would harm their image.
In short, like Dr. Phil always says, “when you choose the behavior, you choose the consequences” (good or bad) it happens all the time. – Best of luck / God Bless

I am having problems with my PayPal issued credit card being denied all over the place even though there are plenty of funds in the account to cover the transactions. At first I was told it was because of low security at stores such as WalMart. Then I was told it was just going to continue to happen anywhere at any time and there was nothing they could do about it. I have had the card for nearly 8 years and I have been a PayPal customer for over 17 years. I have literally forced friends, family and coworkers to sign up with PayPal because I believed in the company so very much. Today, I am cutting up my PayPal card and I am truly considering closing my account. It’s useless if I can’t use it. I was planning on writing their corporate offices about this issue. But, after reading all the complaints here I don’t think those in charge actually care anymore.

The client wrote to us to tell us that he has a “Paypay rep” of his own so we will not be getting our money back!

Per PayPal instructions I contacted the merchant directly when the item did not match the webpage description. The merchant sent me a RMA and instructions to mail to China NOT by FedEx, UPS, or DHL but by USPS. The item was mailed to me from California but I paid the USPS $22 to send to China as instructed. A month later with no refund I called PayPal.
PayPal ignores what I have said and emails me instructions to return the item using a shipper with online tracking. I sent PayPal copies of the USPS receipt showing shipping to China and custom forms and the merchants RMA and shipping instructions. I explain USPS does not give tracking numbers for international shipments. Multiple emails and hours of telephone calls PayPal is completely useless. Ever PayPal email and everyone I talk to asks for the tracking. Every email and every conversation ignores my doXXXXents and previous conversations. No one a PayPal reads the record to see there is no tracking number. PayPal dismisses my dispute because I have not provided an ONLINE tracking number. I ask where in my PayPal agreement I must use shipping with ONLINE tracking and PayPal says this was instructed in their email to me. I point out the email was ridiculous because I had explained the item had already shipped. Multiple emails and hours of telephone calls to start each conversation explaining the item was shipped per the merchant’s instructions contrary to PayPal’s subsequent instructions.
PayPal sends me emails saying my dispute has been dismissed but I cannot reply to the email because it is not monitored. Instead, the email instructs me to call the Resolution Center. When I call the Resolution Center the automated system asks if the dispute is existing or new. If I answer “existing”, PayPal’s automated system says my dispute was denied and hangs up. If I answer “new”, PayPal’s automated system asks for a dollar amount, cannot find what I reply, and hangs up. The only way I can get past PayPal’s automated system to a live person is to say I have and unauthorized use. PayPal security personnel will talk to me and transfer me to the resolution center but the delay is often 40 minutes or more. Some resolution center personnel can find my emails and doXXXXents but others say they doXXXXents are not available.
PayPal’s emails do not answer my questions. PayPal does everything possible to prevent me from reaching a live person and to prevent a live person from answering my questions.

I totally agree with you now that they declined two valid credit cards of ours with absolutely no explanation as to why they did this. Am starting a legislative campaign at the state and Federal level to make them more accountable.

Yes, I totally agree with everything you have said. I am an owner of a $30,000,000.00 a year business in Miami, Florida with a credit score of 780+ and I was approved for a PayPal credit line of $1,200.00 and was declined when I tried to use it. I spent two days, talked to over 10 different people and was told over 10 different things as to why I couldn’t use my account the issue was never resolved and I was made, even told that it was my fault. Really, I have more credit as an individual than PayPal has as a whole and I have NEVER had to deal with such unethical, unprofessional corporation in my life. So now, I am going to make an investment in a campaign against PayPal and reveal them for who they really are. Hello Mr. Chiquito, my name is Amy , I haven’t had any real issues with them except they won’t let you use other forms of credit to pay them over the phone or online. I sent them an email today to complain about this inconvenience, and they said they would contact me back within 24 hours to reply. I told them someone is going to create a service similar to theirs and give customers this convenience, and they will cash in and take all their customers away. I think maybe YOU could be that person. I wish I had the ability to do this myself, but I’m just a broke disabled woman right now. I don’t have low self esteem so don’t feel sorry for me, I’m just being honest about my situation. I want to be an business owner just like you some day, but I have many obstacles to overcome with my health, getting the correct education, and my transportation issues. Like I said I haven’t experienced these issues with PayPal, but I have experienced mistreatment on my previous jobs. They didn’t appreciate that I was a loyal and hardworking employee and didn’t let my disabilities stop me from doing my job. I worked for one restaurant for ten years and as my health issues got worse, instead of giving more time before my health got too bad they cut me down to between eleven to fifteen hours a week at seven dollars and twenty cents an hour. If they had given me the time I would have been able to pay for my medical treatments and probably would have been able to return to all my job duties. So that’s why I can empathize with you on your issues and that’s why I was moved by your call to action. I’m tired of doing the right thing by my employers and trying to do right by the businesses that I interact with and they don’t seem to give a damn about me. Like I said I contacted PayPal about using my MC credit card to make my monthly payment over the phone and the girl that answers the phone after making me wait twenty minutes tells me that I cannot use this other form of credit to pay them because they are a credit service. I keep talking to her and telling her I used the card to make my payment last time, but she said that they only let me do it last time as a “courtesy”, because my payment was late. I said yes last time I had forgot to make the payment, but I don’t understand why you can’t just do this all the time? Sometimes people don’t have money in their bank account but they have another credit card to pay you with so they can make their payment and not incur a late fee. She still said no they couldn’t do that. I asked her what the corporate number was and she said she didn’t have one and I would have to write a letter to complain about my situation. So that’s why I would like to help any way I can so for once somebody can get justice.

After 9 years of useng PayPal for bussiness transactions. I will be parting ways with them.
Reason? I had to issue a large refund to a customer. I did the transfer sueing what money I had stored in my PayPal account. I issued the money back to customer.
Well about about 5 hours later I go to make a purchase for items and tried to use my debit card. Was told insifficent funds. I log into my bank account to see that PayPal not only issued the refund from PayPal account. But also pulled the money out of my bank account and gave it to customer.
I spent 2 hours on phone with bank and PayPal. In the long run bank said I would be forced to wait the ten days to see if PayPal would fix the Problem.
PayPal says they will file a claim witht he perosn that received the money and see if they will return it…..
In other words I just paid a customer for having to issue a refund… Thank You PayPal you just ruined 9 years of creditbility I had for you…

how can i, get the phone number for pay pal corporate executives. i have a big problem and need HELP , so many things do not make sense regarding log in names and password. lots more to tell , Someone hacked into my account. My account was hit and no one will give the help that need, Your techs in Cal., Ii think are up to to NO good. There is no way I can update my account as the phone number that is there is wrong and I cannot remember the security questions. My wife cancelled the the credit card because she received a call from the bank stating that there were too many hits on the card. All from paypal. What is going on. I would like a response as I will let social media that paypal is unsecured. Have been with paypal since the beginning.

I am a Japanese 24 years of age. Recently I was advised to pay through PAYPAL and I did.
Browsing the internet, I found many items that I needed to buy to give as gifts to my fiance and family.
I came across a website ioffer.com and it offered very inexpensive prices and I ordered some.
I came across sellers offering Rayban Aviator Sunglasses in lense colours that were not available in Japan and such low prices.
Among others I placed an order for a Gold colour frame and gold reflective mirror lenses which I selected among many colours. It was 20 US$ and assuming made in China and thus lower in Price I paid through Paypal as Paypal advertises as the safest way to pay.
However the sunglasses came after delay and I found that it was in different colour and a fake ( Counterfiet). I was sad as I was cheated and saw the cheap quality of packing, case and the glasses itself shabilly made Rayban trade mark.
I filed the resolution and then I was advised by Paypal as the seller cannot be contacted and to escalate to a claim.
However, After a few days I got e-mail from Paypal to return the glasses with a tracking # and then the refund will be executed.
Now, The Law both in USA and Japan prohibit trans shipment and exportation of counterfeit goods and as to rerturn ( export, the tracking # facility is only available in EMS japan and it costs 1500 JYen which is 75% of my loss and only 5US$ will be my return.
Then I have to fill a customs declaration to declare the goods and value and It is not legally possible to export this sunglasses back as it is a fake and it would be breaking the Law as advised by Post office staff.
I replied inmany e-mails to service-japan@paypal.com and through the paypal site e-mail facility giving these reasons and I agreed to send it to the Paypal office in Japan.
Despite these e-mails which I had not the courtsey even a acknowledgement, Paypal continues to state to return the goods.
I found out that ioffer.com is world’s largest counterfeit sale site ( though the internet search machine)
So, Paypal entertains counterfeit sellers and not only that Paypal is partial to these Chinese crooks as ioffer sellers 99% counterfeiters are Paypal clients.
I demnd refund and to give the address of Paypal Japan to return the glasses.
