After driving for nealy 5 hours, I stopped in to moles at Tanger Outlet Mall to get one of my favorite meals which is “the stack.” After getting to the register, I see that they have bottled Cokes and Sprites in a cooling tray on the side. As I start to check out, they tell me that I am not allowed to have a bottled drink but I must get one from their drink machine. I explained that the vehicle I’m riding in which is a Coach bus does not allow me to have open containers and the bottle container is basically what I need. I asked to speak to a manager who basically says the same thing she cannot sell me a bottled drink. They are for online orders only she said. I said to her my food is already made so if I cancel my order you’re just going to throw it away is that correct? She says ” yes” will just throw it in the trash. I thought this was absolutely absurd because my order was already at $15. It saddens me to think that instead of serving a loyal customer they would rather throw food in the garbage than to use her discretion as a manager and make a judgment call. Isn’t that what managers are paid for? I explain to her again that I have been traveling for hours and wanted this meal that I had just asked them to prepare for me and a bottled 16 ounce drink, and she looked at me as if she didn’t care what I was telling her and showed me no empathy at all. I really don’t understand the big deal between selling me a drink that is bottled are selling me a drink out of their soda machine. If Moe’s would rather lose my business, than provide service to a loyal paying customer then I will choose not to frequent their establishment any longer. However, I was able to get a meal at Grand Buffet just across the street with a lot more food and at a lower price. So, actually they did me a favor by refusing my service. Moe’s has lost my business forever!

Went to Staten Island store, Arden Avenue, they forgot 2 meals out of 5 and when I complained about it, they told me they were not going to give me my food if I continued. Will never frequent this place again. Manager (Dean), was real cowardly, hiding in the back and yelling stuff at me. Rather eat at Qdoba, better food, friendly employees and no cowardly manager hiding behind the refrigerator.

I find it disturbing that each Moe’s that I go into is not consistent with the company brand standard. I actually asked a staff member today was she not going to greet me with welcome to Moe’s or any greeting and her reply was no we don’t do that here. There were six workers running around each other trying to figure out how to wrap another customer’s burrito because they had filled it up with so many toppings. Location was near Tanger Outlets in Charleston SC.

Hi, I’m wondering if it’s common for GMs to steal cash tips from their employees? Also, is it allowed to leave half way through your shift and fix your time card so you get paid for a full shift? My assistant manager has done it more than once for her as well as her day time prep employee jimmy cisneros.

Hello I visited the Moes at Lake Wylie at 312 Bulkhead way in Clover SC. I ordered my daughter a chicken bowl. Just to let you know we eat at Moes a lot and I have never been so disappointed. The amount of food in the bowl was ridiculous, there were MAYBE 12 peices of chicken, hardly any of the topping they put on the chicken. I had to ask for more cheese and lettuce. By the time it was made you could see the bottom of the bowl that tells you how much food was not in it. Are there new rules with how much food is given in the bowls now, because it is very expensive? Glad she had chips to go with it because without them she would have needed more food.

Coming from a very recent former employee, If you ever need a job DO NOT go to Moe’s in Jacksonville, FL. They take on too many people knowing they can’t compensate for most of the new hires. They will not help you if you have any complaints especially if you don’t get paid on time. There is a $25 fee no matter what you do just to get paid if a check or deposit so happens to get ‘lost’. If you even dare to call out they will take that seriously and confuse you on what they want out of you and give you the run-around. If you’re entry-level do not even waste your time because training is more like they show you what to do twice and hope you get it the first time around. This job is too fast paced for newcomers and the manager usually makes her shift manager talk to you especially if you aren’t friends. This place is very clique friendly and if you don’t fit in it will not be a very good environment to work in.

I went to the Brockton Ma location Friday 12/13/2019 and their was just a young girl working the line that I saw at first, this girl, had 3 long slips of paper which she informed me and the other 6 people in line that she apologized for the wait that she had a bunch of online orders. So this girl is doing these orders along with helping us customers as I see around the line another older employee eating lunch and kissing this guy presumably her husband maybe which may I add is a bit unprofessional and unsanitary to be doing in uniform alongside food people will be eating. And instead of helping she ignores the girls ask for help. And so I have my lunch at the restaurant and see the manager come out and tell the girl to clock out for a break while the older employee makes food for someone and hands it to them. And nothing said. I am disgusted with the way this young lady was treated, but very impressed with how she handled everything even thoe it was aware she was panicking and a bit upset.

To the Moe’s Southwest Grill Corporate Executives:
After watching a re-run of Undercover Boss & becoming very interested in the Moe’s experience, I found out there was a Moe’s just one county over from where I live in IL so I went to the East Peoria, IL location.
The food was excellent, store was clean but due to a new young employee the line moved quite slow so the Manager, Tiffani Woith gave me a free burrito card to use for another visit & she seemed very patient with all the employees.
Today, (11/30/19) was my 2nd trip to the same location & to my surprise, the same friendly manager, Tiffani Woith was the only party working. I later found out that an employee had called off for their shift & the other young employee just walked out earlier saying it just wasn’t for them. Tiffani was working the entire line, grill, cash register, etc. She greeted everyone that walked in & numerous customers were coming in & she still remained positive, cheerful, thorough & all while the line never cleared the entire 1 hour that I was in the restaurant because so many people were coming in during lunch rush & it’s now Christmas shopping season which leads to more people eating out.
I want to encourage Moe’s Corporation to recognize Tiffani for her outstanding attitude, attention to detail, positivity, energy & drive which truly shows her character & dedication to Moe’s. These days such a great employee is hard to find when working in the food industry or retail.
Thank you for recognizing her integrity & accountability as a member of management at the East Peoria, IL location.

Store is filthy and staff is uninterested in servicing customers until line is out the door. This store was awful. Not 1 table was wiped down, I had to do that myself. Food was cold by the time i cleaned a place to sit. Restroom was dirty with only TP being scrap in the floor. Doesn’t seem like there was a manager on staff if so I would like to know where. I could not figure out who store manager was hopefully it’s no one that was staffed this night. Come on guys are you that bad? Other stores we visit have been clean and friendly. Hi I live in longneck delaware and I love Moe’s as well as alot of other people in the area but the problem is trying to get to Moe’s southwest grill in the spring and summer time on route one rehoboth. I purpose that Moe’s open a location on route 24 in the available lot next to McDonald’s it would be an excellent location seeing how the longneck area is building up rapidly and there is no other fast-food restaurant in the area that has this type of menu items. There are several camp grounds in the area as well as the thousands of local residents that live in this area. I believe that it would be a big asset to your company. I don’t think that you’ll have any concerns about weather you’ll be busy enough to have a location in the area. I believe you would have a constant flow of business all day long every day. Thank you for your time.

He was professional, engaging, articulate, funny, aware of customers entering and seamlessly greeting each one as he sat at a table with me. I got a sense of him being an all around awesome human being who really loves what he does and knows what he is doing! He easily earns the respect of the people who work there. Moes in Dahlonega, GA is by far the worst Moes I have ever been to. We have tried to eat here several times and each time had a terrible experience. Awful customer service. The employees look pissed and are very rude. I have never once been greeted with a smile. On top of that there have been several instances where they have made rude comments. 0/10 recommend this Moes. Not worth your time or money.

Spent $50 on bad food.

Placed an order for a business workshop at Fulton Financial on 6/22 to be delivered 6/25 between 10:30-10:45 AM. I called the store on 6/24 to explain the delivery time was incorrect and change to 11:15 AM. When they said the manager was not available I left a message and asked for confirmation. I sent a follow up email at 2am when I heard nothing back. At 9:45 AM I called again. I was told by the manager the caterer was on a delivery and she would take a message. I explained that details and that no one responded to my email. I was told she did not have time to read emails and to wait for my delivery which was then delivered even earlier than planned. Because the workshop did not break until 11:15 AM several non-workshop people ended up eating the food. And then we were short for the team. I ended up calling Panera for those who did not have lunch. Absolutely the worst experience in customer service. It ended up costing and extra $76.00 to feed the 6 people who did not get to eat. As a IT project manager I schedule meetings and workshops all the time. If that is the customer service I can expect that was the last event to use Moe’s on any of my projects and will share that information throughout the teams. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile and caring about the customers. It is a shame your training doesn’t teach that aspect. Imagine my surprise when I learned that this young lady is about to be promoted. How sad…ac

I just had lunch at MOE’S on Commercial Dr. in New Hartford,NY………
We had to pass by 5 dirty tables to find a semi-clean one to sit at.
The salsa bar was messy and I had to tell someone they were out of some of the salsas……..Then someone in front of me had to ask for forks……..
There was almost no pork on my burrito…….and both the salsas I tried tasted more like chili sauce! Not very authentic Mexican! Not real happy with my food.
When we got up to leave…….I looked around and almost every table was dirty……we saw no one wiping tables ……….and the salsa bar was worse then when I was there! I asked to speak to the manager to tell him about how messy the place was and he (James) acted like he could care less!
I will NEVER go back there! Someone needs to supervise the children working there! Sunday April 28,2019

I usually come to Moes a few times a week. Today I ordered tacos, I am a vegetarian and always get bean tacos. The girl acted like I was bothering her and barely put any beans on my taco, the other guy hardly put any lettuce but put so much tomato on it, I basically was eating 3 tomato tacos. I could have made that at home, I watched them make my friends bowl and they hardly put anything on this. $22 for nothing. I won’t be going again. This is ridiculous. I have the photos to prove the tacos were nothing but tomato. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Never again this is a place where I go 2 -3 times per month. Tonight customer service was beyond repair from the 1st preparer to the cashier Jose who refused my money after I told him I would be writing up a review. When I asked for a manager Jose said he had stepped out to the local Walmart. Normal additions such as black beans and grilled onions were requested on a Chicken club and the preparer told me those items don’t normally come on it! Things went down hill from there Jose chimed in and threw the above on while stating if you don’t want it you can leave. I reiterated to him that I come here often and know what goes on this entree. Jose needs some sensitivity training and of course the food prep needs training. This store just lost a regular paying customer x’s 3. Corporate will be contacted tomorrow I’ve never been so disrespected! Called back spoke with the manager Jamie who is a racist and reinforces this adverse culture he stated he didn’t want me back in his store and that the customer who was beside me that had chinned into the discussion would vouch for me upsetting the scene when this customer was using profanity and making unnecessary insults. This is a core climate for racial discrimination and to be in Dekalb County that is mixed and diverse is absurd! I’ll will boycott all Moes if there is no satisfactory resolution and culture sensitivity training provided,

Allentown, PA (Cetronia Road) location. Walked in at 4pm to find 3 ladies sitting at a booth talking and laughing. I went to the counter to order and no one came to me for at least a full minute (2 of the ladies were facing me and made eye contact). I was ordering my meal when a man came up behind me. The lady asked what he wanted and he said he ordered online. She packed up his meal and eventually came back to me. During this the other 2 ladies were behind the counter talking about personal stuff. Finally got my food and i could only find 1 table that looked clean enough to sit at. 3 tables had baskets of garbage on them and the others had food or dirty napkins on them. Looked like the floor wasnt cleaned that day. The garage can was covered in food at the opening. I thought about telling them to clean the tables, fllor and garbage area but i don’t think its my job to tell them to do their job. Will never go there again. Sad as i love Moe’s

March 5, my friends and I went to Moe’s at the Clearwater, Florida location. We both ate the steak. We both got food poisoning from the steak. She went to the ER and had two bags of IV fluid and was sick all day. It made me ill. The restaurant was not well kept; there was ice all over the floor; the tables were not kept clean. I had to ask twice to get them to clean a table. They never refilled the ice and left the ice all over the floor even when I complained someone could fall and get injured. The Clearwater Mall Location is the first Moe’s I have ever entered without being welcomed to Moe’s. The staff did not acknowledge us and were unfriendly. Overall the worst experience.

My response: Thank you; however, a refund or some sort of compensation would have been appreciated.
NO RESPONSE FROM THANGAM
I am thinking by your lack of response that your company does not think highly of customer satisfaction. I emailed a concern in reference to being overcharged and would have appreciated being compensated in a nominal way; however, did not receive a response to my suggestion. At the very least it should have been the amount I was overcharged. Your lack of response was not appreciated.

I very rarely post comments but was appalled with my experience and store conditions at Patriot Place Foxboro, MA. Location.
Please note: the store wasn’t busy.
1. We weren’t greeted by any staff.
2. They only had chicken for meat and were out of queso.
4. The staff was not friendly or accommodating. We felt as if we were disturbing them.
5. The store was absolutely disgusting. It looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in days. Especially the bathrooms- dirty toilet bowl, trash overflowing, floor filthy.
In the dining area, floor was dirty with food and trash, tables were not cleaned and a bucket of dirty was left on the counter by the booth.
All while the staff was sitting in the back.(we could see them sitting, chatting and on their phones)
I do have photos but cannot attach here. If you would like to see them and a receipt, please feel free to email me directly.
Thank you for your immediate attention.

i recently worked at Moe’s Southwest Grill for about 5 months as a Catering manager at the South Fayette/ Heidelberg location. I absolutely loved my job and most of my employee. Unfortunately, i wrongfully terminated apparently for being ‘too slow’ . out of the 5 months working there, ive never been told about it. i have always had issues with the GM, he made me cry often because if i did something wrong or he wasn’t sure of what i was doing, he would yell and even sometimes swear at me, always in front of other employees. One time he even yelled across the kitchen to me asking ‘kayla, whos the only person in this store that can make you cry?’ he often talked about inappropriate things, he fired me a few days after, he had made a comment about my chest being small, after i had spilled hot liquid on me as i was giving a catering driver their food. it had made me very upset. long story short, he fired me over finding out that i was planning on contacting HR about that incident. i have been trying to contact here because i can not find moes HR. this situation ruined my life currently. not to mention how depressed it has made me. if i cant get ahold of anyone to fix this wrongful situation, my only option is to contact the news and tell them how moes has no way for employees who have been wrongfully terminated, mistreated, ect to get any type of justice. this is very serious. its been a month since this all happened and i already talked to woman rights, they also believe that i was wrongfully terminated also.

Hi Kayla! I’m currently having a lot of the same issues at my own Moe’s restaurant. The GM constantly insults most of the staff and his own son is employed there and gets away with a lot. He drinks on the job and even has been reported to grope some of the women I work with. I hope you make it through this and if you’d like any support you can contact me. I have also been trying to find a way to contact a human resources department to report these issues so two heads might be better than one.

Disappointed Customer who paid $5.98 + tax for a pre wrapped cookie and small queso.
You asked how would that happen? Well, your online order system is not working, as well as, human error.
I ordered two meals. When I receive the confirmation email I reviewed and noticed it was wrong.
I called the Lowell MA branch to explain the issue. I asked if the order had been picked up. I was told no. She said it would be corrected.
My husband came home with two bowls, one cookie and side of queso. No drinks, no side, no cookie.
I called again. The person on the other end said you got exactly what you ordered. I explained that I called and was told it would be rectified. Then I was told that the only thing I was missing were the drinks according to the online order.
Ok, who’s on first here? Listen skills as well as common sense was missing by your staff.
I was expecting my order to be as requested. Today, there so many choices. Moe’s is just one option.
I asked your staff on the phone what were they going to do for me because of the inconvenience. They told me it was not their problem.
I am waiting to hear from you. What are you going to do for the inconvenience?
I am waiting for response before I share my experience with others.

Good evening,
We have been loyal Moe’s customers for years, but after the previous few experiences, sadly we will be no longer. The management at the restaurant in Robinson, Twp., PA (North Fayette in suburbs of Pittsburgh) was ludicrous; easily the worst and most bizarre experience I’ve had in a restaurant. Where do I begin? I suppose a good place to start would be with the “sugary” tasting chips; this is not a joke! After tasting sweetness in more than a few tortilla chips, I examined each of the three baskets of chips that my family and I received; it was clear that sugar had been used in place of salt. I took my basket to the counter and asked the manager (I can only presume because she wasn’t wearing a nametag) to try one of the chips, politely voicing my complaint. She made a strange face after tasting a chip from the trough behind the counter and proceeded to walk into her office behind the kitchen. I figured she would reappear after a moment with an apology and a gift card or something, but she never did. When I returned to my booth my wife confirmed that what we had received were three baskets of sugary chips–my taste buds were not tricking me. I watched one elderly woman walk up to the counter a moment later with a basket of chips; my guess is that she was going to complain about the same issue. Pathetically, the young lady at the register seemed to ignore her presence; after a moment the woman returned to her booth, unacknowledged. A few minutes later a younger gentleman walked to the counter with his chips. Refusing to go quietly, he complained that his chips were sweet. I heard the young lady at the register tell him, “Yeah, someone complained about that, but we tried [the chips] and they were fine.” At this I could no longer contain myself, and I conferred with my fellow customer that I too had received sugary chips. The cashier ignored our brief exchange; still no sign of a manager at this point roughly ten minutes after my initial complaint. Aware of the issue, one employee tasted a chip from the trough and disappeared from the kitchen. I checked with the group of teens sitting beside me; they too had gotten sugary chips. By this time nearly fifteen minutes later without catching more than a glimpse of the manager (she scurried through the kitchen to retrieve a stack of trays), we had finished the main portion of our dinner without ever being offered new chips (cooked the right way) or an explanation or an apology; the customer service was cowardly to put it plainly. I didn’t notice that any of the other customers’ complaints had been addressed. On our way out the door, infuriated as I squaked to a lady and her daughter about our poor and bizarre experience, my wife asked the young lady operating the register for her manager’s name. Begrudgingly, as if she feared for her job, she provided us with the manager’s name: Chrystal. We thanked her and left. In closing, the garbage cans were overflowing and chicken was fatty and burnt; this has been the norm for quite some time. In this particular restaurant we have also witnessed two separate incidents where outraged customers voiced complaints about service and/or food quality. We will not be back and have now decided that Chipotle is our new fast food destination for Mexican.

Hi, I will not list my name because I’m afraid that my child could suffer due to repercussions from this comment. Our child works at your location at 6097 Mid Rivers Mall Dr Cottleville MO. They have been employed 21 days tomorrow and was told they are payed weekly on a Friday. They have yet to receive a check, and was told the 1st check would be yesterday on payday, only to find out that the checks never came in to the store and keeping our fingers crossed will arrive in the mail on Monday. I’ve talked to a couple of managers and have been told what I believe to be phony excuses. I’ve heard from other people, this is not the first time this restaurant has had problems paying their employees or getting the checks to them. If this is a corporate issue it needs to be resolved. If your going into bankruptcy and closing, you should have the decency to finish paying off your employees and let them know. When people work for 3 weeks they expect to be payed. You cannot run a business and not pay people, it is illegal. I will be contacting the BBB.

I have really enjoying eating at Moe’s previous to this bad experience. I decided to have Moe’s for lunch June 5, 2018 and ordered the chicken earmuff. While enjoying my meal, I notice a hard foreign object in my mouth. I pulled the object out of my mouth and to my surprise it was a metal wire from a grill brush. This could have ended terribly if I had swallowed this item or if I had gotten this item stuck in my throat. I have attempted to contact corporate twice about this incident with no response from anyone. I have also taken a picture of the object if anyone from corporate cares to see it.
Briana Carr says
Dear Moe’s Corporate,
Our experience with Moe’s from start to finish was extremely disorganized and unprofessional. As a company that does both employee and customer events, we have worked with many businesses and have never had the experience we did with Moe’s. Nor will we again. After having several issues with the catering portion of your website, I called the provided phone number for catering online where I reached a personal cell phone of a man who was not affiliated or happy about being called – I repeated the # to make sure it was not a mistake on my part (it was not). Next I called my local store and chose #1 for catering. This option played hold music and after a minute dropped the call. This also happened a second time. I called back a few hours later where someone picked up in a whisper that I could not hear well and I got cut-off talking saying they were at an event could they call me in an hour and a half. I replied yes and awaited a call that was never returned. The next day I went to the local store and opted to speak with a team member who could neither help me with the catering order, phone #, email address, and the manager wouldn’t arrive until after 2pm. I said I would come back. I did and sat and waited for a general manager whose team thought they would be in soon but “sometimes arrives very late” and “it really isn’t clear when they will arrive”. I leave a business card and a short note referencing the order and they said they will have him call me – no call made. As a last attempt, I tried the catering option on the main line again and get through to the call center who can’t address any of the previous issues but is happy to take my order and confirms order/date/time/location and sends off my confirmation email timely. There is no mention of any issue with timing, date or location.
On the date of the event, I await our catering at the confirmed time of 11:15am-11:30am. Concerned that the driver may be lost, at 11:30am I call the phone # listed on the confirmation sheet only to receive a personal cell phone voicemail. (This person later calls back confirming they have nothing to do with Moe’s). I call the Moe’s location listed on the sheet and receive a disorganized, unprofessional employee who states they haven’t left yet, noting several excuses that have nothing to do with our order. She says the driver is leaving now. This is 1 of many times I was told this. Please reference the timeline below to see the atrocious customer service and lies that the delivery was on its way. My order was to arrive 11:30am at the latest and did not arrive until 1pm. I had 55 people use their entire lunch break waiting for food that was supposed to arrive an hour and half earlier. We had several people that had to leave without eating, we have several people that drove in from out of town and barely had time to eat before they needed to leave, and many others that could not stay. Unlike your team, our customer service is something we hold dear and while a technician may have given up his lunch break because your promised time was not upheld, he will not disappoint our customer by not arriving at the appropriate time.
Despite the many wrong phone numbers, email addresses, and technical problems with trying to place this order, I would have been understanding if communication, honesty and respect had been conveyed by your team. Your team sited staffing issues, timing issues, food issues just to name a few once I threatened to address this with their corporate office and that if it is correct they were in fact mismanaged and set-up for failure before their day began.
Please understand that I was told that my pre-arranged order of almost $700 with the potential to become a reoccurring catering client was not being delivered on-time (or even close to on-site) due to $6-7 walk-in orders being handled first. This is unacceptable and I would appreciate a timely response and how you plan to rectify this situation.
Timeline of Communications with Moe’s
May 1st – Website issues / email notifying of the catering plan date/time/location – no response
May 23rd – Website issues / email – confirming details and headcount – no response
May 24th – 11:05am left message.. 3:19 phone call – was whispered they were at an event and would call me 5-5:30pm – no returned call
May 25th – in store (Mechanicsburg) where team members could not take my order, give me the order of the catering manager, and when asked for a manger was told he would be in after 2pm. I leave and come back to speak to him after 2pm only to wait for someone who doesn’t arrive and teammates says sometimes they come in very late. I leave my card and short note referencing order with request for a phone call – no call ever received
May 25th – Last attempt – call center took order at 4:45pm – Harrisburg Location
May 30th – Delivery scheduled 11:15-11:30am – NOT DELIVERED until 1pm
11:30am – No contact made yet by Moe’s, I call the # provided on confirmation sheet – it is personal cell # to someone who doesn’t work there
11:30am – after 2 tries to Harrisburg store, my call is answered with terrible customer service… not apologetic, giving excuses that had nothing to do with the catering order, telling me about the time that store opened and the people coming in the door, and telling me she doesn’t know what I want her to do. I am told they are loading the utensils and leaving momentarily
12:06 & 12:07 pm – rings / dropped call / no answer
12:09 – Call from different # and they answer; they haven’t left yet, there is only 2 of them and couldn’t leave, but they are getting in their car – it takes 13 mins they will be there at 12:35pm
12:33 – dropped call
12:42 – last call to confirm they did in fact leave where she confirms that the driver left at 12:35pm
1:01pm – arrival time

I have called the corporate office to complain but to no avail. To anyone who eats at Moe’s in Orange City, FL. do yourself a favor and stop. Every time the Mgr. Breenia is on duty the food is cold and you don’t get any salsa. You get chips w/o asking for them, but not salsa?? Does that make sense to anyone??? The man I spoke with said they don’t put salsa because there are so many different types. I suggested to the man I spoke with that if that is the case, then put that on the menu so people would know to make a selection. That seemed to be beyond him. What a shame, up til now I was a loyal customer, which should count for something but it doesn’t . Save yourself the pain!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to the Moe’s on Berlin Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville, NJ a few times in the past few weeks. The place is an absolute mess and the employees are awful. No professionalism whatsoever. The tables are always dirty and the food always looks like it has been sitting out all day. A few weeks ago I asked the girl behind the counter if she could change her gloves after I watched her prepare someone else’s food, wipe down the counter and use the register all with the same gloves. She rolled her eyes and changed them. Most recently, there was only 1 employee working in the store and he was eating at one of the tables when I walked in. As he was finishing preparing my food a family of 3 walked in and he put my food aside and said, “I will ring you up in a minute.” He proceeded to prepare the food for that family and after he made the first sandwich, I said to him, “since we are not together can you please ring me up before you finish making their food.” He said OK. When he came over he said to me, “I’m quitting today.” I asked him why he was quitting. He said, “because my manager just came in and pretty much ASSAULTED me and walked out.” I said well if he assaulted you then you should have walked out right behind him and left. He didn’t respond, rung me up and I left. This store needs ALL new employees!

February 10, 2018 6:30 pm I went to Moe’s on 611 Berlin Cross Keys Rd, Sicklerville, N.J. I have frequently been to this franchise. I have recently only due to it seemed the food Quality may have not been the same. I did try it again tonight cause I had a craving.. I asked for 2soft shelled CHICKEN taco and a CHICKEN blt quesadilla. 1st the man working asked did I want CHIPS with that.. I always thought it came with. Then ALL 3 CHICKEN were pork. So 1 or 2 things happened. You don’t know the difference detween chicken. OR to laze to make more chicken and thought I wound’nt know the difference.. I did think it looked to dark to be chicken but thought may be burnt. Only cause I didn’t see the normal chicken there.. I did go back to the restaurant started to explain what the situation was. But seemed like no apologies just quickly gave me $$ and pushed out the door… I’d rather do Taco Bell at this point.. and that says a lot. Cause I USED to ❤️ Moe’s.. but now will never return.. if your lazy with making a simple chicken taco are you to lazy to wash your hands or a ton of other things.. I really wish it was like the 1st 2 year they opened.. with the WELCOME TO MOE’S.. cause that’s no more either.. thanks for reading.!!!

What’s your policy on finding a lost walet or purse in your store? Are you suppose to turn it into the police or blame the customer for being careless with the purse? We had a bad experience with your general manager at the Washington, PA store. I have proof that all they did was try to use social media to contact my wife. We already taliked to the local police about this but I would like to resolove this without including them. After the way we were treated we having nothing but bad words to say about this general manager.

I visited a Moe’s Southwest Grill at L’fnant Plaza Washington, DC in August 2017. I only ordered the chips with queso(cheese). A few hours later I never felt this type of pain. My stomach was on fire, vomiting for a few days, chills, dehydrated and ended up in the hospital had to receive 3 bags of fluid. Too much protein was in my blood from the dehydration. Smh I will never eat here again! I called the store days and weeks after and couldn’t get in contact with a manager. But the first two days after getting sick i contacted them and no manager was on duty or they lied. It was hell and I’m still not eating like i should or was before that day. It’s sad nobody from store or corporate office would even be concerned. Doctor said i could have died. And i just want my appetite back that’s all. Unprofessional and uncaring company and should be closed down!!!!

This is concerning your store on 1029 6th Ave in NYC. There is an accepted culture of overcharging customers in this particular store. I always get tacos during lunch here but never get guacamole. However, the store charges for the Overachiever by default. It does not ask the customer if there is guacamole. I talked to the manager (Juan) and his explanation is that everyone gets it. So it is the customer that needs to correct them. Otherwise they will get charged for guacamole.
This is called stealing. Every month, this adds thousands of dollars of skimming from consumers. I would hope this is a culture that is limited to Juan’s store on 6th ave and not company wide.

This Is The Most Unprofessional Thing I Have Ever Witnessed From An Employer Especially After Being Told He FORGOT To Add Me To The New Schedule Friday After I Was Told To Call Back Monday For My New Schedule… They Really Make The Company Look Terrible And I Would Like My Name Taking Out The System As A New Hirer… I Am A Single Mother Of Two And I Picked Up A Second Job To Make Ends Meet And It’s So Messed Up How They’re Giving Me The Run Around Now I’m Out Trying To Find Another Job… It’s Sad That These Are The Kind Of Guys Hired And They Don’t Find This A Problem Or Wrong… You Don’t Hire A Person And A Month Passes They Still Have Not Started Working… I Have Kids To Feed And Bills To Pay As Well… I Eat At Moes But After This I Never Will Again

I really enjoy the Burritos at Moe’s located at the National Place 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC, however, I noticed that only “certain” customers are greeted with the “Welcome to Moe’s” and each time I went to buy a burrito I did not receive the greeting. On Friday, July 28, 2017, I called and spoke with a representative and she inquired about the receipt, although I mentioned to her that I was there on Friday, July 22, 2017. I’m still confused as to why she was asking about the receipt. I told her that I would not patronize Moe’s because of the way I was treated. The workers should treat all customers with the same respect.

Hi I work at the moes in glen burnie MD & today I was written up for no reason. I would really like to speak with someone because I should not have been written up if I explained this to them & I tell them every week before the schedule is put up. 443709XXXXX

Last night 3/28/17 I ordered food from Moe’s in Monroe GA. I took a couple of bites and found glass in my food. I called the store and the employee thought it was a prank. On my way back to the store my daughter called and she had found glass in her food and texted me a picture. I went in and spoke with the Manager Mason. I gave him the glass from my food along with my food that I had ordered and texted him the picture of the glass that was from my daughters food. He preceded to tell me that he does not have glass in the store. Not sure what he was trying to say. He was very apologetic and said he would contact the corporate office.
Today I hadn’t heard anything from him. I thought I would at least get a phone call that he would refund my money but no call. I call him at 4:00 and told him the least he could do was give me a refund since none of us got to eat anything at all last night. He said he would whenever I would come to the store. So I went and got the refund but I am still not satisfied. It could have been very dangerous and this is nothing to play with. I will never eat at Moe’s again and I will tell everyone. I want going to go this route. I was waiting to see how this was handled and I don’t think it was handled well at all.

I would suggest calling the local television stations and report this incident. They could get the results you deserved from the corporate office.
