I am a UNITED STATES NAVY VETERAN. I have been assigned a job that refuses to pay me for operating a machine. Ive never been late. Ive never been written up. Manpower keeps telling me how happy the company reports are about me. I WONDER WHY!!!!!! But this particular company (hiring boss) verbally reworded it to me making it seem like i don’t know how to run the machine, He feels I’m XXXXy, i am a liar, and he can’t pay me cause i havent proven myself, while tellin me i learned a machine in record time that the average man cant do. When i contact/ed to Manpower expressing my unhappiness at this assignment and requested a new one, THE COMPANY IS FIGHTING TOOTH AND NAIL to keep me there because they know good and hell well i can operate the machine. This is nothing more than a open case of discrimination that I’ve asked Manpower numerous times to remove me from since I’m not worth the pay!!! Beside labeling something one way on paperwork to avoid paying an employee accurately should be or is illegal i believe/researching. I feel I’ve done everthing in my power to salvage or try to salvage my relationship with Manpower but nothing is working. But Manpower is more worried about losing a contract over ONE temp that’s not worth paying anyways!!!!!!……THAT DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!…..so now I’ve been force to accept a job for lesser pay while still operating this machine at 10 hr shifts. I literally hate being take advantage of and THAT’S WHAT THIS IS! I don’t know if my local branches knows what to do or they are just afraid? Either way I want answers. This is embarrassing and humiliating a veteran!
Basically i was dispacthed being told i was going to be a operater which I did BUT on paper i was labeled as a operator helper for pay wise! Once again my local branch has done a good job with me but i think this one might be over their heads a little bit. MY ONLY QUESTION TO MANPOWER WAS CAN I REMAIN A TEMP SINCE I’M NOT WORTH THE PAY AND WOULD LIKE A NEW ASSIGNMENT AND NO-ONE KNOWS THE ANSWER!!!! DO YOU???

I applied for a Route Driver position with Coca Cola consolidated, and was told that I would have to be interviewed by your company. I was looking forward to the call, because if selected, it would give me a chance to work for a great company.
I got an email from your employee Allana Salls on Jan. 9th, requesting an available time for her to call me for a phone interview on Jan.10th. I replied immediately and made arrangements for a morning call, but unfortunately it didn’t happen. I called and left a message, and was sent an email, stating that her morning slots were filled, but her evenings weren’t. I replied, that I was available all evening, but never received a call.
On Jan.11th, I made another call and got her voicemail again. I explained that I didn’t get a call, and hopefully I’ll get one soon.
On Jan.12th, I got an email from her, stating that the position has been closed, and that my info would stay on file. I’m totally disappointed,, because I didn’t get to prove that I was the better qualified person. If this is how your process works, then it’s a total disservice, to the men and women, who rearrange their schedules, in hopes of getting a chance to work for great companies, only to have that chance pass, because we never got a phone call.
Not a fair process

I worked for Manpower for 22 years, ending in 1998. Primarily, I worked in Jacksonville, FL. Where I took over a tiny rundown office next door to a blood donor facility. During my year in
Max, I was able to hire and train a great staff, and build the business to where we became the top producing market in the country, with right about $22 million in sales. We grew from that small office next to Tue blood bank to five first class’s offices. This is my life’s accomplishment!
At the end of fiscal 1998, the Jacksonville story was featured in the High Flyers publication.
I am in the process of creating a story of my life, work and values to leave to my children and grandchildren. I would like to include my Manpower story which I am very proud of! To add credibility to this accomplishment, I would like to i
nclude a copy of the “High flyers” which
featured my story .
To do that, I need to request a copy of that particular “HIGHFLYERS”. If you can scare one up, please send to me at

I loved my experience at Manpower during the Feinstein years. BUT I think that I did have an
Inkling of what was to come, when you joined the company with a fresh vision of out future growth.
Thank you for your time and attention to my request.
Very truly yours,
