My husband and I went to the Lalos in University Village, we were there for awhile and even mentioned to the waitress we were there on a staycation and decided to support our local businesses. The manager on the floor at the time even came over with a tequila shot for us and him. I was touched for the attention. When we were closing our tab we had ordered a couple beers and our tab. Our waitress was very wonderful and then the new manager came out and said no, we were cut off because of Covid. Not once was that mentioned to us even when I first stated we were there for drinks and food. I was embarrassed and very angry by that treatment. We left without a scene but I’m extremely angry for the treatment! I’m sure nothing will be done about it but we cannot and will not support this business further. I’m sorry for the wait staff as they were wonderful but the choice in managers needs to be reviewed!
