Hooters was founded in 1983 by 6 businessmen in Clearwater, Florida, Lynn Stewart, Gil DiGiannantonio, Ed Droste, Billy Ranieri, Ken Wimmer, and Dennis Johnson.
Waitresses at Hooters restaurants are primarily young women, usually referred to simply as “Hooters Girls”, whose revealing outfits and “hooters” are played up and are a primary component of the company’s image. The company employs men and women as cooks, hosts (at some franchises), busboys, and managers.
The menu includes hamburgers, sandwiches, steaks, seafood entrees, appetizers, and the restaurant’s specialty, chicken wings. Almost all Hooters restaurants hold alcoholic beverage licenses to sell beer and wine, and where local permits allow, a full liquor bar. Hooters T-shirts, sweatshirts, and various souvenirs and curios are also sold
In 1984, Hugh Connerty bought the company. Connerty was, in turn, bought out by a group of Atlanta investors led by Robert Brooks. Brooks would purchase the majority stake in the company in 2002.
By 1991, there were 50 restaurants in the Atlanta area. By 1993, there were 100 locations.
In 2006, the Hooters Casino Hotel opens in Las Vegas. Robert Brooks dies in 2006 and leaves control of the company to his son, Coby Brooks.
In 2011, Terry Marks replaces Coby Brooks as CEO.
In 2013, the company announced plans to remodel every restaurant in the chain.
Today, there are 420 Hooters restaurants nationwide. About a quarter of them are company-owned and the rest are franchised.
The company is owned by Chanticleer Holdings, an investment firm. Chanticleer plans to do a reverse merger with Sonnet BioTherapies, Inc., in a statement dated October 10, 2019.
Due to the coronavirus, many Hooters were forced to close, but they are slowly reopening, including the Las Vegas Hooters.

I went to hooters to pick up a carry out order at 12:30pm on 11-19-20. The order was placed at 12:00 noon but this store is notoriously so I waited and arrived 30 minutes after the offer was placed. When I walked in there was 1 customer at bar and one table with 2 customers. That’s it. I walk up to bar were you pick up to go orders. I say there for 10 minutes watching 5 or 6 employees just standing around talking. Finally was asked what I needed, I tell them I have a carry out and give them the name. Was told ok it’s cooking it will be ready in a few minutes. Another 10 minutes goes by before the same person comes up to me and ask what was the name of your order, I tell her, she walks back to the kitchen. Comes back without the food and tells me she doesn’t have the order. So I show her the order and she gets the manager. The manager walks up and very aggressively said what’s the problem. I made the mistake of being the only white person in there and asking the manager why it took 20 minutes to figure out they didn’t even have the order started. Before I could even finish her tore into me saying again very aggressively that I’m not going to take to him like that. When I tried to tell him that he asked me what the problem was, again he cut me off saying I’m really pissing him off and walks away. I still had to sit in there for 20 more minutes waiting for my food, however by then every employee in there was harassing me, calling me racist, saying things like if they weren’t working they’d “take care of my attitude”. Again, I never said anything but question why did it take 20 minutes to figure out. They actually had the order but hadn’t checked the Uber eats tablet. I had to walk out of the restaurant and look through the window to know when the order was ready. When the order finally was ready as I was walking out the manager told me I better never come in “his” store again. I won’t of course, I was there 45 minutes. It was the rudist most unorganized, I mean Hooters should be embarrassed

My brother, a decorated Navy Veteran, was refused service at this hooters for exercising his non-hostile right to free expression, wearing a COVID face mask with TRUMP 2020 – 2024 printed on it.
4120 Dutchman’s Lane, Louisville, KY
Bartender didn’t like it, she said “I don’t think you’ll be eating here tonight” and cancelled his order. Manager came out to smooth things over but she told manager, face mask made her “feel uncomfortable.” Unfortunately, the damage had been done. My brother and his family were humiliated and left. I am writing to you to give you an opportunity to fix this otherwise none of our family or friends will ever eat at a hooters restaurant again…hooters or no hooters.
And another thing, found an interesting screenshot made by your staff at some point in time indicating the level of racism amongst some of them. It is a perplexing any hypocritical mix where they can make disparaging remarks like this and yet throw my brother out of your restaurant for simply wearing a mask with his valid ideology on it.

Went on father’s day to sit down to have a nice family meal! Never happened! Walked in went straight to the restroom and it was so nasty people I’m not kidding! One had poop all over the seat the other had what looked like a poop hand print on the wall and all over and noticed no toilet paper ! The third had a bunch of toilet paper in it along with bloody tampons and blood down the side of the toilet! I decided to hold it and took out my phone and literally started recording it! I kept recording walking out the bathroom I noticed the manager and couple girls just standing there doing nothing but starring me down looking at my black lives matters button! I just kept walking up to my family. I walk up to them and my husband says that there saying there not going to serve us! I said what why! I held up my phone and showed empty seats everywhere! There must have been literally about 4 tables occupied the rest were empty! She said we’re not serving you you need to leave! I guess the girl here me say how discusting the rest rooms were with poop and tampons blood and paper towels crumbled up on the floor everywhere and she said I didn’t realize they were so dirty! I said yes then we started walking out the door where other people were and the manager opens up the door and says mam you need to erase your phone or I’m calling the cops! I said I’m standing right here call them what are they going to do they can’t make me erase my phone! She then shuts the door and locks it! Then opens it back up again waving her hands around like a crazy women and tells at my 8 yr old son to get off her deck! I said no stand there it’s ok! She then shuts the door and locks it again! Then for the third time people she opens the door up waving her hands saying and aww by the way my name is Katie really mean then pulls the door back as hard as she could and locked it! People were outside watching and listening! They started complaining about her how it’s not right of to do that! So we started walking to our car where I told every person what happened on the way out and they were being served and then the others had door dash! Why didn’t you serve us why didn’t have to be so horrible and ruin father’s day and yell at my son? Because your just a horrible person and a racist and lazy! Would not recommend NEWPORT ON THE LEVY HOOTER’S! DIRTY RACIST AND RUDE TO FAMILY’S!!! Will never go to to another HOOTER’S again! I contacted customer service a little over a weak ago and have yet to hear anything from them! Hooters restaurants there customer service and corporate have no respect for families and could careless about customer service! I’m going to every site and posting this and social media! YouTube video of the situation of our worst horrible father’s day at Hooters in NEWPORT my! Word of mouth and media is strong! There’s plenty of other places that are good to people and care for customer service! Me and my family will spend our money where they strive to make people happy

It has been some time and yet if still received an email from corporate about this whole situation! I’m telling you they could care less about customers! They will never see a dime from me! Everyone matters Katie and corporate but it’s obviously life of all including families don’t matter to you Katie and corporate! You know that button you have us hit for how we would like to be contacted back! Re: Vee Assistant Manager KOP, PA Hooters
On Friday June 21st, I was a victim of misconduct. Assistant manager Vee actually wanted me to clock out to physically fight me!! There are witnesses to this. Vee also would not schedule me ONE SHIFT all week when doing the schedule. She also talks behind my back in a horrible, hateful manager. This includes hoping my house get burned down. I have done nothing to deserve any of this. Working at Hooters has been great, up until Friday. Vee should not be allowed to manage at Hooters or anywhere else.

The Hooters in Manassas VA is awful! The manager and kitchen staff are worthless. I have been going to that location for over 20 years and because it is a convienant location I continue to go back hoping that it will get better to only be disappointed every time. It is unfair to the waitress’s to be put in such a position that they have to deal with the customers complaining that the kitchen and management can’t do their job properly. There is no way that this location will last much longer under this kind of management.

As longtime customer of Hooters, I wanted to make a complaint about Dan at the King of Prussia, PA location.
Dan has a miserable attitude. He doesn’t like the Hooters Girls, and he does not allow them to eat on break, even between lunch and dinner when the place is slow. His treatment of longtime Hooter Girl Kristen Maille is a disgrace. It is very puzzling why the Hooter Girls aren’t valued higher. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT BRING BUSINESS TO THE RESTAUARNT. People aren’t coming in for the architectural design!! As a regular, I talk to the King Of Prussia Girls often. They all say how unpleasant Dan is to work for. Hooters ships G.M.s around quite often. It is time to get Dan the HELL OUT OF KING OF PRUSSIA HOOTERS. He makes the work environment unpleasant and stressful for the girls.
PLEASE GET RID OF DAN ASAP!! He is a poison and a cancer. Things will continue to get worse if he remains there. Corporate has been out to lunch when it comes to the issue of Dan. It is time to take action.
Kristen Maille says
My name is Kristen Maille. I have worked at Hooters for 6 years am a current calendar girl. I currently work at the Hooters in King Of Prussia, PA.
I am writing this message to complain about G.M. Dan. He is being very unfair in regard to my schedule. I need this coming Friday off due to having another job. I put “other job” on my schedule request. For some unknown reason, Dan isn’t allowing me to have Friday off. What is the point of putting in a schedule request if they force you to work?? Please relocate or fire Dan. HE IS A MEAN CREEP AND A BULLY. HE DOESN’T APPRECIATE THE GIRLS OR THE LOYAL CUSTOMERS. In short, he doesn’t appreciate anything! Dan does not allow the girls to eat, even in the back, out of customer view. Dan routinely tells us Hooter Girls that he hates us. Any Hooter Girl will testify to this. KOP needs a new G.M. in the worst way. Nobody can stomach Dan. He should not be allowed to manage KOP anymore.
I am not putting up with this anymore. Tuesday is my last day at Hooters. I will follow up with a formal complaint. This crap has gone on long enough. KOP has a great location. Don’t think the “success” of the restaurant is because of Dan. It sure as hell isn’t.

Attention New Yorkers and Visitors,
Hooters of Fresh Meadows is horrible. If the managers Aaron, Tommy, and Carlos are not here to make your food, “DON’T COME.” They have some great bartenders and servers like Chrissy and Shaquae, but most of the girls that work here are HORRIBLE waitresses. If you come in to visit and your waitress is Rae-Anna u-turn out the door and try Applebees, Qdoba or Boston Market. Rae-Anna is the worst waitress in the establishment, mainly because she forgets all her customers’ orders and brings out the wrong customers’ orders. I ordered habanero wings and the dum*y (Rae-Anna) brought me steamed shrimp and they were cold with no steam coming from the bowl with the shell still attached to the shrimp. My husband ordered the burger sliders and she drops a big plate of cold crab legs on the table. The other reviews about this B’s service are the TRUTH, Rae-Anna is a hot mess in Hooters skimpy outfit with NO personality at all. She curses out the managers for her mistakes along with the other girls and employees, and even us customers! She doesn’t bring utensils and our drinks take 40 minutes to arrive with her, and I DO MEAN WITH HER. Even the take-out girls serve tables better than her. And, if you have to catch a movie at the AMC Theatre next door the food takes TWO-HOURS to arrive. Hooters is not all the bad, but to get decent service the restaurant has to be relatively empty with five customers in it. And, their kitchen staff is always having a shouting match and fighting each other (beware plates, forks, and knives are known to be thrown across the dining area when a dispute takes place in this Hooters location’s kitchen). People are always quitting their jobs on the spot and walking out the restaurant in that kitchen and the general manager Bryan Crisci doesn’t seem to have a care in the world (you have to see it, to believe it), and these reviews about the old manager Paula are so-so but she was a better manager, especially when it came to disciplining Rae-Anna, this girl needs to be fired immediately, the last four times she has served my family has been a FREDDY KRUGER movie. And, she doesn’t wash her hands when she uses the ladies room, a customer caught her in the act and blew up her spot in front of a manager. Rae-Anna is nastier in more ways than one (etiquette, hygiene, personality and service skills). And, I don’t apologize for reporting the truth, but the truth needs to be told.
Honestly,
Donna James
Alert: Rae-Anna why are you wasting your time sending me messages on Yelp to my Send Message box? Girl, we have had our words and let’s leave it at that. Capisci, capiche. I still have my video’s that display your service skills and your comments about your manager’s sexuality (we live in a gay and proud society, girl get over it). Need I say more? Girl, bye, be glad I paid my bill that night once my order was corrected by Tommy and the lady that had the Haitian flag bandanna on her wrist, and did not choose to ditch (WALK OUT – depart suddenly or angrily. synonyms: leave, depart, get up and go, storm off/out, flounce out, absent oneself; informal take off, “Guests walked out in a temper because Rae-Anna brought all the guests in her section the incorrect menu orders.”) on my bill like the Italian families that were sitting in your station area. Multiple messages cursing me out and begging me to withdraw my review? Girl, I have video, pictures, and screenshots (see my profile pictures) as proof of my side of the argument. Where’s yours? And, my last and final question for you Rae-Anna is, didn’t your mother teach you to think before you speak and write? Too late, don’t answer. Bye……….!

Having lunch with a buddy on 7/20/18 at the Hooters at 8225 W Higgins Rd Chicago, IL. Went out to my car in their parking lot and found my window shattered and a brand new tool stollen from my vehicle. Notified the manager who indicated theft had been a problem for them. Damage to my window, door frame and out the cost of a brand new still in the box 100.00 Dremel Oscillating Saw. The wings aren’t that good for any future patrons to risk going there and being robbed and vandalized. The manager accepted no responsibility for the damage or my loss. Think twice about going to this location cause you may be out more than just the cost of your meal!

I just wanted to write to express my disappointment and disgust with the closing of the NE Philly location. I ate there since it opened, for six years. NE Philly was like a family club. The Hooter Girls and I had so many long talks and laughs. They actually cared if I won or lost in my fantasy football league. A huge part of my recreational life was taken away this week. The girls that worked there did a WONDERFUL job.
It is crazy for Hooters not to have a restaurant in the 4th largest market Philadelphia). They need a FREE STANDING restaurant. One of the problems with NE Philly was that it was part of a huge shopping plaza. It just didn’t stand out enough. I actually know some potential sites in the Philly suburbs for the new Hooters to go. Please build a new Hooters in the northern Philadelphia suburbs. KOP is very far and there is a toll cost that comes with it.
NE Philly Hooters 2012-2018 Thanks for the great meals and memories.
Joe Wendrychowicz says
In order for NE Philly Hooters to improve its business, they must have 3-4 bikini contests per year. Just having one per year isn’t enough. The bikini contests bring excitement, volume, and fun to the restaurant.
The first step would be to get rid of the girls who refuse to participate in the bikini contests. There is a large group of long tenured Hooter Girls who refuse to be in the contests. These girls are “dead weight” and should be fired immediately. The names of the girls are Rachel, Destiny, Jenny, Dee, Lexie, Brigit, Ashley, and Sasha. Once these girls are released, the managers need to hire girls who are “bikini contest willing and able.” if the new applicant does not meet this criteria, they should ne be hired. The woman in charge of promotions wants to see more from NE Philly Hooters in regard to bikini contests. When the Hooter Girls get hired, they agree to do promotions, which includes bikini contests. Many girls miss this important point. The manager is too soft and allows the girls to get away with not participating. Please bring in a tough manager like Dominic Toretto who will lay down the law.
Here is a schedule for NE Philly Hooters to follow for the remainder of 2018
Christmas in July Bikini Contest July 2018
Las Vegas Pageant Viewing Party August 2018 (not a contest, but showing the pageant on all flat screen TV’s in the restaurant)
Halloween Bikini Contest October 2018
Santa’s Helper Bikini Contest December 2018
If this schedule is carried out, there will be more interest and customers in the restaurant. NE Philly needs more than a store qualifier each year. They need to show they are dedicated to entertaining customers. Leading customer Bruno and the photographers are very disgusted this issue has not been resolved.
The following girls deserve credit for being in the store qualifier 3/28. Payton, Peyton, China, Mary, Brianna, Stephanie, Felicia, Tierra, Olivia, and Reina. These girls deserve credit and should be thanked and rewarded.

Forgot to mention, I have not had any chicken of any type since my trip to St. Thomas, one website states the parasite comes from bad chicken, well I can’t even say it was chicken, to me it was either pigeon or a damn lizard or very nasty chicken. Do not eat at Hooters in St. Thomas and that is a shame, because I love Hooters in Woodbridge, VA, never had a problem. I don’t even go to Popeyes or cook chicken at home.
Edna Jordan says
Okay I will try to make this short. In May 2016 I went to St. Thomas, VI. I normally get the spicy sauce for the chicken tenders, they didn’t have it, so I picked #2, they didn’t have it, so I went with #3. I got my tenders, took a bite and it didn’t taste right, I thought it was the sauce, so I went to strip #2 and 3, within five minutes I was sick as a dog. It was so bad I had to run to the bathroom and left my cell on the counter. Then vomited my gusts out for hours until the limo driver could come get me. Spent two days in bed in St. Thomas because I was so sick. Since May 2016, I have seen every doctor to figure out why i vomit and s**t constantly. Did a Colonoscopy in Jan 2017, nothing wrong with my colon. Keep going to different doctors and finally found out about 3 weeks ago I have a parasite called “pylori (H. pylori) infection”, which eats at your stomach lining and causes other damages to your health. Yes it took almost two years but I have been to every specialist that I could and finally found out from the best GI doctor what the issue was. So he prescribed “Pylera” which I was told was the worse meds to have to take but that is the only thing they have to kill this parasite. So my GI sent in a prescription went to pick it up and the drugstore said we don’t stock that, I said when can I get it, she said maybe on Friday or Saturday, then I went to other places and the same thing. I was also told the Dr. wanted me to take a certain Probotics to work with the meds, well s**t that cost $50.00 for 30 days. Now if the doctors could figure this out a year and a half ago, I would not make a complaint, I did contact Hooters Corporate: Hooters of America, Inc.

I filed a formal complaint with Hooters today, since I finally found out a year and a half later what my issues were, when you have no medical experience but you know you don’t feel good and something is wrong, it shouldn’t take forever. Now that I have filed a complaint with Hooters today and since Jan 2018, my medical bills has been over $4,000 so far, doesn’t include today, that doesn’t include 2017 or 2016 charges for my issues. If I do not get satisfaction from Hooters, I guess the BBB will be the next option and then I will find out how to report to another organization about providing food that causes parasites which can cause cancer. not a good experience at hooters in portage in. lack of concern on both staff and manager.
asked to be seated since there was at least 8-9 tables open, but was told by a manager, that the cooks were having a hard time keeping up….explained to manager that we would order drinks and wait, was told he couldn’t do that because waitresses would put in food orders and that would be a problem…. told him he could inform waitresses only drinks….said he was sorry but, didn’t seem very apologetic at all, several other customers commented about staff/him didn’t care…. i waited for over an hour for a booth, then another 30-40 minutes for food… Delia was very nice, about our wait, stopped by table several times to tell us she’s sorry and our order is in. plus, there were many staff standing around doing NOTHING why couldn’t they help temporarily in kitchen as well as the bus boy who barely did anything except for walk with an occasional plate or dirty glass.
wings were great, but, that doesn’t outweigh the bad service.

Just wanted to make a complaint about Hooters of NE Philly. The manager named Dan said that they were having a Halloween Bikini Show. This did not happen. It needs to be investigated as to why. NE Philly Hooters has not had a bikini contest since the April Qualifier. They cannot seem to get off the ground when it comes to bikini contests. No wonder why it is the lowest volume restaurant in it’s geographic grouping. They need to get rid off of the girls who refuse to participate and start hiring more model types.
PLEASE MAKE THIS LOCATION HAVE A SANTA’S HELPER DECEMBER BIKINI CONTEST. When the Hooters Girls get hired, they agree to be entertainers. The Brunswick, NJ location has five bikini contests per year and they have much greater customer volume in their restaurant.. The regular customers are ver angry. The top regular customer Bruno is seething mad that there is no Halloween Bikini Contest. Please speak to managers
Corey and Vee to address this longtime problem. It starts with hiring the right type of girls.

I ordered hot wings with teriyaki sauce on the side and ranch dressing. They gave me teriyaki wings without any sauce on the side not dressing. I also ordered blackened fish tacos, they gave me grilled fish. They did not give usu any plasticware for my baked beans. I called to resolve with the manager, Johnny. He was argumentative and told me he knows what I ordered. He would not take responsibility nor exemplified any level of customer service. I am reporting this restaurant. I would not recommend if this is how management handles their mistakes by gaslighting, arguing, and deying his responsibility. I know what I ordered and Johnny argued with me about my order. He is not fit as a manager. He does not know how to handle conflict.

Hello,
I hope to get in touch with someone from Hooters Corporate. There has been a very unprofessional situation that occurred at the Hooters of Gurnee IL. A current manager by the name of Matthew French was having a sexual relationship with a hooters girl by the name Erin Bailey. He got her pregnant. Erin is due in September. Which means a little over 9 months ago this happened. Erin Bailey quit at the end of march. If you don’t want to do the math. Here it is for you
Nine months from September is January.
The two were both working there at the time.
Erin quit in march because she was already 3 months pregnant which is the time where you start showing.
I am expecting to hear back from someone to see what corporate thinks and what are the next steps.
Hooters should not represent this
Thank you for your time. Looking forward to hearing from you.

As look at the other tables I saw two girls talking to customers one girl at the bar. After about 15 minutes I got up to leave. The girl that was talking to the man finally said something after I was past her. I told the girl sitting by the door – nice service no one ever came to the table. Last Friday night 8/11/2017 I was in the Southside Hooters Jacksonville Florida. I was playing music in the jukebox. I always play the music the Hooter’s girls like. I have a list, the girls always say it makes their night go better. I spend $20 or more in the jukebox every time I am there. I spent at least $140 total on food and drinks each night I am there. I had just put in $5 for 12 songs. There was someone else competing for country music with their celll phone. It was a good time. Then a customer requested a pre-season Pittsburgh-Sanfranciso football game. They went full sound and that pre-empted the music. I contacted the manager Jen and told her I was playing music first. There was no resolution. I would like some free chicken wings to heal my pain. Daniel

Please make this location have a “Christmas In July” bikini contest. NE Philly Hooters needs to have four bikini contests per year. Just having one isn’t enough. The regular customers haven’t seen a bikini contest since 4/28/17. JUST GET IT DONE!! A Halloween Bikini contest and Sant’a Helper Contest should end the year on a fun note. Many paying customers are very concerned about this matter.
BTW, cushions in the booths are ripped and should be replaced. It seems like this place has quit and they don’t care anymore.

As we were in the produce section looking at the spinach a young woman reaches in the cooler and grabs lettuce or something and proceeded to walk away. As she walks away my son 18 year old giggles. As I look at him he say’s sorry mom I just had to look back.so as I turned to see what had him so amused, I saw it was a hooters woman in her hooters uniform. Witch made me giggle at my son’s response, due to the fact that has never seen a hooters uniform(or a woman in one). So we laughed until this woman purposely bumped into my son as her boyfriend attempted to Corner me. They both began being belligerent and loud. Questioning us in a threatening manner” what’s your problem” “Wich one of you do I need to talk to” just a bunch of garbage was coming out of there mouth calling us out of our names it was absolutely crazy. I said all of this to to make this point. If your employees are going to wear their uniforms to the grocery store or any where out side of work, means that they are representing your company and should carry them selves in that manner. Shouting at the top of her lungs, and being so aggressive and threatening wasn’t /isn’t a good representation of your company. Everyone seen her acting out in your uniform

The food was ok, my wife and I went there with a friend once we got the food that was it, we had to find a different server for the check she was never around. We had to go to the drink station for another round of drinks. I’m never going back there again the service Sucked look at other reviews regarding the service. This was in the Wayne location.

Hi my name is Shelbie Caudle. I have been with the company for four years. Two weeks ago I served a table that I eventually felt uncomfortable serving so I went to a manager (with the receipt in hand to show) She was busy and asked how much was drank, what was ate, and the time span of their arrival. She told me to hold on and came back and told me I was good for one more. I then served the table with I’m almost positive not just one managers approval but TWO. I got with the male manager shortly after about cutting off since i was uncomfortable doing so. He cut them off and they paid they then got upset and said they were going to corporate. When they left Hooters. Their was 6 people at that table. 4 adults and 2 children. They were ordering from me 3-4 drinks at a time including shots, they had food, and was there for 4 hours. The male manager on duty told me he had to tell the GM because of prior issues that had been going on. No one was pulled over, no one was hurt and I’m sure these people went next door and continued drinking. The next time I came to work I was told I was suspended until the investigation was over. I called Hooters/ came up to the store everyday asking if I could come back to work yet. I talked in my regional manager in person and he said not to worry because ill be keeping my job. My GM, my managers told me I was keeping my job. After hearing nothing for a week and a half, not looking for a job just waiting it out I txted my GM with any new info. He called me and told me I had been let go and had papers to sign at Hooters. I came to Hooters to sign and the papers said I had sold more than 40 drinks to 3 people and that I basically didn’t cut them off sooner, and I manipulated guest counts. I would just like to point out management always tells us to add guests counts when you get the check mark every jump start! Also I was under the impression that after you tell management it is in their hands now. I have never gotten any warning or write up over my four years of working with the company. I have worked my butt off to get my shifts and I’m one of the hardest workers at that establishment. I really think this situation is bull and I don’t believe I should be FIRED because of this. I have been calling corporate every day waiting on call back so please get in touch.
thanks

My name is Michele, and as of 3 weeks ago, I was employed by your company for 9 years. Before I tell you my story, I would like you to know that a copy was sent to my friend who works for the Times. He is doing a story on the downfall of corporate America. Anyway, 3 weeks ago you sent a secret shopper to the Cartersville, Georgia location and this “middle-aged” man sat at my bar and asked me for a beer, which I gave to him while I was taking a to-go order. He reported back to you, that I didn’t card him for his beer. 4 days later, I was terminated..no warning, no write up…just fired. My manager Mike, fought with your corporate people about this, because he knows I work hard, I run my butt off every night, and I card everyone that doesn’t come in there day after day to see me. He also knows that the day before, my mom was diagnosed with the early stages of dementia, which I have been dreading for months about. Even so, I always come into work with a smile on my face, have the second highest sales of most nights, and my regulars (which I have a lot of) absolutely love me. To corporate Hooters, I am just a number, one of many employees that can be replaced or disposed of at any time. You send a “middle-aged” man, who lets face it, can’t get a real job of any kind, probably due to his lack of personality and he goes around reporting little things that other people supposedly “do wrong” and sends you his report. you think you are getting a true reading of an experience that ALL people are getting, when in reality you are not. Some things can’t be replaced, and some people can’t either. I am one of them. My regulars walk in the door, and they are greeted with a warm smile and their drinks are already sitting on the bar, because I see them pulling up in the parking lot. I ask them about their day and actually care, because they are like my second family. That is the experience most people get when they sit at my bar. So,I was having an “off” day due to personal reasons and apparently forgot to ask ONE man, who was clearly old enough to drink for his i.d., but Hooters has a rule that they card everyone. I know rules are meant to be followed, but at what point do corporate rules become absolutely ridiculous???

I am a regular customer of NE Philly Hooters. Me and the other regular customers are disgusted with the lack of bikini contests. They were supposed to have a Valentine’s themed bikini contest, but didn’t. The managers there just don’t get it. If an applicant isn’t “bikini contest willing and able,” DO NOT HIRE HER!!!
Please, have a March “Green” bikini contest followed by the “Ms. NE” bikini contest! Make it happen. This will generate more interest and volume in the restaurant.

HOOTERS OFFERS FREE WINGS TO MAN WHO PULLED ALARM:
A Hooters restaurant in suburban Boston offered free wings to the man who went to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ hotel early Sunday morning and pulled the fire alarm before the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots.
The following message was on the restaurant’s sign: “Free Wings If Your Name Is Dennis Harrison.”

I can not send any e-mails through the website so I’ll try here. I have been to the Huntsville Alabama location several times with my family. We have a toddler, so a high chair is necessary. Out of all the high chairs at this location, only one is working properly. All of the others either have broken buckles, or no straps at all. My toddler tends to try to get out of his seat when he is full or bored, making an enjoyable dining experience nearly impossible. I’ve brought this up to the managers a few times now, and I’m disappointed that it’s yet to be fixed. If a child were to fall out of the chair because the straps weren’t able to connect , they could get seriously hurt. I’d appreciate if someone would look into this soon. Thanks in advance

I used to work at hooters in Tuscaloosa. It was great until they moved in a new GM. I ended up getting fired over he said she said things. But it’s been a few months, and my boyfriend and I love eating there still with no hard feelings. But every time we go our orders are always messed up, and the girls are exceptionally rude. A few weeks ago we ordered to go food, we got all the way home and our ordered was all kinds of messed up. And like any kind of customer I called back a little heated because it happens every time. So the bartender at the time exaggerated the entire thing to the GM. My boyfriend and I went in today AGAIN (even though our food sucks every time) we sat down. And were kicked out. I’m still a customer, I should get treated like one. When I worked there I had customers cuss me out but they never banned them from the establishment. I don’t think that’s fair. And if this complaint doesn’t do anything I will continue to make a huge deal of it.

Looked forward to signing up for their most recent promotions for purchasing a card for $100 and getting $20. I was online exactly at 1:59pm awaiting for the start of their 2:00pm promotion sign up. At exactly 2:00pm a new page on the Hooters website appeared and before I could finish typing in my first name, a message popped up stating the promotion had ended.
As a long time, 500+ visits customer, I was extremely dumbfounded. My favorite restaurant cut me off from purchasing their promo and this was extremely disappointing. I guess that my favorite restaurant had disappointed me and thousands of other loyal customers by pulling a stunt that obviously has shown us that they don’t care about us as guests. I told my friends and family about this bad taste move they made and we all agreed that we will no longer visit Hooters. Twin Peaks Restaurants is about 60 miles from us and instead of attending our regular Hooters Restaurant to watch our sporting events, Twin Peaks will have our business. If this is how Hooters rewards their customers, we will never walk into another Hooters again and our softball team will find another local restaurant to visit on a regular basis after our games.

11/5/2016. I am an employee at this store and our GM, Omar is the worst GM that I’ve ever worked with. He is unfair and doesn’t give a crap about Hooters. All he does is sit in the office and search for other places to work. He has ruined/ been fired from every other restaurant he’s worked at and if you guys don’t do something about him now, this store won’t last long. He tried to send me home and I’m head weight. Head weight always closes. And when I called the 1-800 number to complain, he tried taking my table away from me because someone else had to run their food. First off, people run food for each other all the time. We literally have a FOOD RUNNER. So I think it was not needed and immature of him to take away my table that I worked so hard on from me. He also voids everything off even when the food was made and then complains about how nothing is adding up right. One time I had a racist table call me a “black ass” and took the customer’s side and tried to give them coupons and paid for their whole meal. And I’ve tried contacting Omar’s boss but no answer. I’m getting the run around and its not okay. I need something to be fixed now and no matter who I talk to, no one is helping me. Its not fair that the employee has to just suffer through the bullying that the GM puts them through when we both know that he’s not being fair.

Hello. I would like to comment of my visit to your location at 12759 southwest freeway in Stafford Tx. 77477 (281)242-9464. I was greeted by Mrs. Ciara as I entered the resturant and escorted to my table. My waitress was Mrs. Stephanie. Mrs. Stephanie helped me with the menu selection and the perfect drink to go with it. After I completed my order. I looked around the resturant and every employee was smiling as they assisted their customers. Mrs. Stephanie was considered new to the resturant with a start date of July 2016. Mrs. Gabby who has a smile that could be seen from one side of the resturant to the other. Mrs. Gabby was observed being very attentive and personal to the customers she servered. Her methology of service was magnetic and professional. Mrs. Gabby was training a new hire at the time of my visit. (Mrs. Mickey 19 yrs of age)Although, she was training the new hire Mrs. Gabby tended to her guest’s very well. Mrs. Mickey stated that she really liked the job and the people she worked with. I spoke to about 5 different waitress’s during my visit. Each person that I spoke to reverberated Mrs. Mickey’s feeling’s about working at the resturant and the comfort of working with each other. There was no horse playing and a great showing of team work. However, I would be remissed if I didn’t say that some of the employee’s stated that their job would be better if they could just get a little recognition from management when they do their jobs above expectations. This was diffrent to me. They were not complaining about their hours, money, or working conditions. This awsome group of women only wanted to here “job well done” from their manager. I would recommend, that if you are in the area of this Hooters Resturant to stop in an witness this experience for yourself. I visit different resturants weekly and write about my experience to let the individuals who are in the corporate office’s know about what I see. This was a really great stop for me. Thanks to the general manger Mr. Tommy who also came out to talk with me about what I have wrote today.

I ate at hooters in Amarillo Texas today. I ordered oysters. When i received them they had a funky smell and dark color. I smelled all the oysters and ate two that didn’t smell bad. Being from the gulf coast i understand that sometimes an oyster out of a dozen is sometimes bad. I ate the two that seemed to smell ok just because i haven’t had any in several years and thought that maybe i was tripping. I wasn’t. They tasted off. I returned them and was told they would be taken off the bill. They weren’t. Being a restaurant manager myself, the thing that truly bothered me was that the manager never came to talk to me! I left her some career advice on my receipt and called all the numbers i could for hooters. Also emailed them. Sadly it seems like it is horribly run and i won’t be back.

I’ve been trying to email the corporate office but can’t find the correct email so I guess I’ll write it here. I worked at the grapevine Texas hooters location and was treated beyond poorly. They are 100 % all about favorites there which is not right when we are all supposed to be treated equally. A girl named Ashley recently walked out on her shift in the middle of a fight night two weekends ago and is now training to be a bartender when you are supposed to be fired as the other employees before her who did that were fired. She of course wasn’t give the the same fate as the other girls because they love her and was moved up without punishment how is that fair ? That whole place is ran back words and I couldn’t take it anymore.

How can a corporation fire someone due to discrimination. The young was never late, worked alone and was suppose to have an assistant manager or general manager closing with him if needed, never called out unless it was an emergency, covered the general manager faults when she messed up repeatedly, follow all the rules and one incident that was not discussed or justified through chain of command leaded him terminated… I have talked to 8 people including 2 witnesses whom seen the incident of a lazy , disrespectful Hooters girl claiming an under paid, over worked hourly manager pushed her, when in fact was fabricated and even Video shows the hourly manager removed her hand off the door to close so that he could call his general manager to Elaborate On what happened and she never answered but answered for the Hooters girl and immediately to her side. I’m a advocate and I believe in fairness and talking to the EEOC this is indeed a case.. The hourly manager has never been wrote up, late, and always adhere to what his general manager and regional says to do and his first complaint internal results to termination and it’s final. Pure discrimination and it will be justified. Not to mention the young lady is bragging about fabricating the story and she still has her job…
Hourly Manager Timothy Allen Memphis Downtown Hooters, Memphis TN…..

He did not deserve to lose his job and even the other managers agreed from the video that she was not pushed…. And why wouldn’t Human Resources do a complete investigation by reviewing the video and a appropriate sit down, they called over the telephone, by here say and fired him…. Not professional at all.

Odessa, Tx. This has been the worst restaurant that I have ever been. I am in the oilfield and have been traveling back and forth to this area for years. For the longest time I figured the lack of service was from them being so busy. Then when they remodeled there was a sign of hope that the service would improve. It seems that after the trainers left everything slowly started to go down hill again. Now with the down turn of drilling in the area the restaurant seems to be less busy, but the service still is horrible. Today 3 coworkers and I went for all you can eat wings. One of our coworkers ordered the buffalo shrimp. The buffalo shrimp came out but our wings never did. After about 45 mins after ordering our waitress came to us and asked if the Manager came to talk to us. She said that he was supposed to come tell us that the kitchen had lost our order. We then asked to just give us our ticket and cancel our wing orders. After a few minutes more the waitress came back and said that everything would be comped. We then got up and left. As we were leaving I looked around to see if the manager would make some effort to apologize but he was no where in site. This will be the last time we visit this location unless extreme changes are made with the service. I travel all over the nation and I frequently visit Hooters restaurants in most cities I go to. This has been the worst restaurant by far. That restraurant is giving the Hooters name a very bad reputation. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email.
Thanks

Since the link to contact corporate is as broken as their way of treating employees, I guess I’ll comment here and hope for a response. Hooters Mishawaka, IN is a joke to work at. I average less than 1 table an hour due to such heavy staffing and at the end of the night I average about $8.57 an hour with tips. This is an absolute joke. The employee turnover is incredibly high because of this and we are paid the minimum wage a server can be paid legally. Interesting enough, we have 4 managers though. The hostesses are paid our hourly rate and then we have to tip them at the end of the night and just the other night our hostess spent a full shift working and made $13.00. THIRTEEN FOR A FULL SHIFT!?!? We were told the overstaffing issues are due to corporate policy that states a server can have no more than 3-4 tables. I get that. But why do we have 6 girls working when we get 18 tables for the night between all of us? This Hooters location has been closed down before and I guarantee you if corporate doesn’t stop in and see how this location is operating, it will indeed close again. Probably very soon. I wonder if the patrons who visit Hooters know how underpaid these girls really are…..

Hate to do this, but, I’ve no choice. First, the ladies at the Dallas Westend location are the best! Hope someone can look into this and rectify the situation, thank you.

Just wanted to write a complaint about the Hooters of NE Philly. The girls are absolutely pathetic. There is an upcoming “Ms. NE” bikini contest on 4/28. There is only ONE girl willing to participate in the contest!! They have to start screening and make sure any new hires are “bikini contest willing and able.” If they are not willing to do the bikini contests, they should not be hired. The NE Hooters Girls are a bunch of prudes. If they are that terrified to do bikini contests, they should not be working at Hooters. Bikini contests are a promotion, which is part of their jobs. The GM is going to have to call other stores to try to get participants for the contests. NE HOOTERS NEEDS MORE MODELS AND SHOW GIRLS. TOO MANY OF THE GIRLS ARE AFRAID TO DO THE BIKINI CONTESTS!! It is a joke and a disgrace. No wonder NE is the lowest rated Hooters in it’s geographic grouping.

The Alcoa, Tn location on Wednesday night is a miserable experience. People have complained to management for months on the bartender(or lack of). Without posting a name, she is the short haired red head. People have to wait on drinks and ask several times to get them. Most of the time she is not even behind the bar, and is found out in the restaurant sitting at a table with friends. There have been a lot of people complain to management and nothing gets done. I sat at a table once when she was working and waited 21 minutes on a drink. The girl that was waiting on our table apologized a couple of times for the delay. Again, the bartender was out sitting at a table and not working. There were several girls lined up at the bar waiting on drinks for their tables also. This is a common occurance on Wednesday nights and Hooters has lost a lot of buisness because of it. This type of service would not be tollerated at Buffalow Wild Wings or other buisnesses in our area. If Management refuses to resolve the problem after numerous complaints from a lot of people, then Corporate needs to resolve the issue with management about this location!

Went into your newer Douglasville Ga location this past Friday. We used to be regular Friday night customers at the old location. We have been to this new one on fewer occasions due to the service rendered and the quality of the food. This past Friday we ordered medium shrimp and the basket came and it was cold like it had just been pulled out of the refrigerator as it was lumped together. They then took it back and seemed to just put in a microwave and brought it back. To me I would like to think that a new one would have been made but no nothing was said and it just did not seem like a big deal to our waitress at the bar. She did keep me and my wife with beers as we needed but the sense of urgency was very much lacking – It just seems like the quality and service is very much lacking at this place and our friends say the same things. We have lived in the area over 25 years and I dont see this place making it unless they start getting it together. Thanks

I live in Topeka Kansas and I do not eat at Hooters because of the crappy customer service I’ve heard about. Chris Heisler is in charge of the Us Honor Flag. He travels around the country honoring police and firefighters who have fallen in the line of duty. I follow him on Facebook. Tonight he wrote a most disturbing post. His nephew had facial reconstruction surgery and was hospitalized for over 4 months. He still wears a halo and head brace. He went to Hooters here in town to have a night out with his best friend. Apparently because of his halo and head brace, he got pointed at and laughed at by staff. Are these the kind of people you want representing your company here? I hope not. This has already been shared on Facebook all over the country. You need to correct the situation and make it right.

I visit your location in Webster, Texas quite often. Today at lunch time around 11:15 am. I always sit on the patio are by the windows to have enough light to read my newspaper. I ordered the buffalo chicken no bun or veggies with a side of fries with ranch dressing. When ordering I asked the waitress to be sure the fries are hot and have seasoning on them. Received my food delivered by another waitress because my waitress was busy talking to another customer that she new. She only had three tables at this time I being one of the three. She came by after i received my food and I told her the fries did not have any seasoning. She said I will get some. I continued to eat and a assistant manager came by and asked if everything was okay. I told her that i did not get any seasoning on my fries and the waitress was getting some. By the time the waitress brought the seasoning out I was finished with my fries and about 2 bites left of my chicken. The assistant came back by the table just before the waitress re-appeared with the seasoning. Service at this location is always hit and miss.No follow-up by management. No ice scoop in the ice bin, they simple grab a glass and and reach into the ice bin touching the ice with their hand from holding the glass. A MAJOR HEALTH VIOLATION ! This I have mentioned to them many times and also have spoke directly to the general manager . Again their bad habits continue. Business at this location does not seem to be as busy has it once was.
With problems like this I can see why. I have also spoke directly to Mr Dick who is over this area of stores with no improvement .
I even mentioned to the asst manager about no ice scoop and she did nothing to correct it. I would of expected her to at least go and get an ice scoop and put in the bin but she did not !
I cannot for the life of me understand why things do not improve at this location. These above problems have been expressed to other asst manager, Mr Dick and also the gentleman that is above Mr Dick. NO IMPROVEMENT.
You have lost another customer.

The manager said he will not keep it on the rockets game at all. So he changed the TV’s close to me. He did ask the people infront of me if they wanted to watch the rockets, they said it didn’t matter they are leaving (they were of the same race). So he changed it. I did notice on the other side he did leave one for some guys at the bar. Really mad right now, I love hooters bUT I feel like I wasted my rime and money today. Unfortunately, after our visit this past Sunday, this view has changed for us. This past Sunday our club invited potential new members and we were appalled at the treatment and service we received. Instead of the usual delightful service and fare we encountered problems almost at every turn. The issue started when our reservation for the meeting room was not honored other patrons were in the room during our meeting time, being disruptive. When we were finally got our meeting off the ground these customers got even louder and we notified management and nothing was done. We requested that the dirty tables be cleaned so out members could purchase food and that was never taken care of. Not only were we unable to hear each other, but the customers inside the room during our meeting made a request that we quiet down. The next problem occurred when your manager stated that they were only expecting six members for our meeting. We have never had fewer than 35 members present at a meeting and at every occasion have patronized you. We looked so much to grow this relationship we had our car show at your facility. We have noticed that as time has gone on that we are not welcome at your establishment. We believed that this could be a Win Win with a regularly scheduled meeting where our cars would be on displayed. There were times people would stop by just because they saw the cars there and would actually order food and socialize with us. Recruiting opportunities for us business for you.
As an overall rating, our experience at your establishment was not near what we had come to expect from Hooters. We have a large social media presence, are very well received by the Corvette Community and at this junction have to share our experience with others.

My family and I wanted to try the Hooters on Nordahl in San Marcos, CA about a week ago. First off when going to he seated the servers were at the front and we could barely get by because they were so busy talking they couldn’t hear me say excuse me so we had to push past them. Then the restaurant was filthy. There wasn’t a clean table to be had and they weren’t very busy. The floor under each table had food or paper on them. Needless to say we left and will not return. If the restaurant is dirty, imagine how dirty the kitchen must be…

This is the 3rd time my group of friends and I (group of 3-4) and have ordered out a few times (2-3) to go….
I am a business professional, and so is the group of people that I work with and bring into the restaurant. To make a point we are not hillbilly Nor punk trash that come over.
the past few times that we have come in the service has been absolutely horrendous I have received bad service before from different restaurants but always counted as an isolated incident this is not the case for this restaurant. The last time that we went and we were seated for about five minutes before a waiter came up and took our drink order that was not the problem the problem came when the second person came up entered our drink order again and stated our waitress would be with us shortly we, when the second waitress came up we placed our drink order and our food order the food was delivered in a normal time. Our drinks drinks after waiting about 17 minutes to see our actual waitress had gone Low and no one had offered a refill. This unfortunately has become the standard or what appears to be the standard of service for this particular restaurant I do not normally like to complain but I feel it necessary weather for training reasons or management reasons to bring this to a higher level of attention. I personally have not been back to this restaurant for several months because of the horrendous service I received before. I came back hoping that the service standards have changed but this has not been the case. In the year 2002 I was serving active duty (Army) and visited Hooters quite regularly the service was always phenomenal. It was always a great place to unwind after a busy week The food was absolutely superb at that time , this is no longer the case. After having a serious debate with my fellow colleagues and friends we have all decided we will more than likely not be coming back to this restaurant. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere the food and most of all exceptional service that Hooters was once known for I do not want to label Hooters in general for providing what I see now is low quality food and terrible customer service skills now perhaps it is only this restaurant that has this issue but as for now we cannot continue to spend money on poor quality food and terrible customer service.
They service the beer that have a St. Patrick’s Day logo or wrapping around the bottle. Now while the beer was okay and not expired it was very near its expiration date perhaps 2 to 3 weeks away from expiring.
The waitress that finally serviced us only tended to our table one time for the rest of the time that we were there and before she was talking to an elderly gentleman looking at his phone and swiping through various pictures on his phone she was speaking to the elderly gentleman in a very flirtatious manner. We consider ourselves exceptional tippers we have never left anything less than 20% at any restaurant we go to. So it is not like we are known as “bad tippers”
The manager was spoken to about this incident and she seem to want to rectify the situation immediately, but we have also spoken with manager once before and the service standards have not seem to change and may potentially have gotten worse. There was a discount offered. And the manager genuinely seemed to care about the service provided. I failed to get her name and apologize.
Please excuse the typing errors as this was not typed on a computer but a tablet.
Please feel free to reach out to me via email if you wish to discuss more.
I now consider this matter closed and really hope this helps the restaurant is on I would hate to see the great establishment fail for the lack of genuine customer service.

As a concerned citizen and Biker I would like to know the corporate stance concerning some of your stores refusing to allow Bikers wearing patches and colors into their establishments . Theme current photo circulating on Facebook stating that our kind are not allowed has created quite the uproar in the Biker world and threatens your company and its Franchise to lose tens of thousands of dollars in revenue. Please reply to me with an official statement.

I am also concerned about the new policy listed on Facebook. There is also a picture of a sign posted at a Hooters Restaurant. Is this a true statement is all I would like to know. I am not a biker nor do I wear patches. But, would like to know your decision.
I hate to assume. If no response I will have to assume this is your new policy.

The Hooters in panama city beach fl forces their employees to rinse off smelly wings in ice bath and serve anyways knowing fully they r bad. They seafood fryer is not seperate. I know this bc I worked for hooters in this town and after five years walked out due to poor leadership and the sake of my integrity. I was on shift filtering fryers an order for bison (shrimp) came in. I was down my seafood fryer atm. I told them to hold 2 minutes I’d have the fryer up. I had already breaded them and they were sitting in a basket ready for drop in the next 45 when my shift leader came over and dropped them in my french fry fryer. If u have ever cooked you know this is a big no-no!! Shellfish allergys are a big health risk. Ive been instructed as well as several other employees to rinse off smelly green wings in an ice bath bread them and fry um up, because the box claimed they were good. How gross. And to top it all off there are employees allowed to do what ever they want. I worked at other locations and have never seen a store ran this way. Its horribly dirty, mold on shelfs, things labeled improperly or not at all, the walk in cooler has many pans with no lables or dates, makeup station never has dates and lables neither does the chicken/fry station ect…floors are horrible, no where for employees to store belongings that isn’t rusted beyond use. Eating on front line in open kitchen, no glove use or hand washing on a reg basis poor pay with a huge turnover rate. Most horribly ran restaurant I’ve ever seen. Hate to not be working for hooters they are an awesome company via why I have been with them 5 years, but no job is worth my integrity. Managments is completely ok with everything going on in this store. Shame. Hooters is a great company whos gaining a horrible reputation. Please fix ur store before they r shut down. Id hate to loose the last Hooters we have here. I know this is not the HOOTERS policy.
Thank u for reading this. I was refused corperates number so this is next best thing.
Have a Hooter-ific day!!!

I’m at the shooters in Clarksville Tennessee and this is a huge disappointment. We have a party of 13 people and it’s taking 30 minutes to get something as simple as a beer. Some of us waited an hour to be served wings. On two separate occasions we were given another tables wings. We also had 6 different waitresses. There has been a waitress sitting at the table behind me for an hour talking to the guys… Hasn’t moved once. Upon talking to the manager whom has her kid in her hand said she would handle it only to come back 15 minutes later to ask again what we ordered. I enjoy hooters but I will never return to this once.

I ate there last night and had the worst experience in my 38 years. u was told by the staff they did not have a plate for my toddler to share my food because none were clean. When I asked should he eat off the table she basically said yes. Well that was the end for me I called for a manager waited 25 more min this was afrer my food to 30 min and everyone around us had been serviced. He rolled.his eyes aty and said I can not comprehend the problems they were having. I told him well can you.comprehend I’m not paying a dime and will never come back he rolled his eyes and said ok. No clean plates andy toddler should eat off the table and I’m stupid. Wow great service at the mall of America. No follow I called customer service who said we have no time frame for when you will hear from someone. Well ok I bet you respond to the department of health who will be contactin you.

Today was my first time visiting or eating at a Hooters, and I’d like to say this will be my last time ever eating at Hooters! I am writing you from Independence, MO. Let me share my experience with you, then you tell me if you would ever eat at any Hooters, let alone take family or friends there. A very good friend came to visit from St. Louis so I decided to take her out to eat her choice. She decided on Hooters in Overland Park, so I said ok. When we first got there our waitresses were nice no problem there but when I ordered a alcohol beverage it seems my bad experience with Hooters began. First I ordered a Pina Colada, not only did it not taste like one but where do they make Pina Coladas at where brown rum is still floating on top of the glass. Not only that but the bartender used regular rum like u use for a rum and coke….where do they do that at? Last time I had a Pina Colada it was made with Malibu Rum. I had them take it back because I was not drinking it! So we order appetizers which were ok. Then came time to order our food. I ordered Fish n Chips for 10.99 my friend she ordered wings. Her order was fine but when they brought my food out how disappointing it looked. It looked like they took a fish filet and cut it in four pieces fried it and laid it on a bed of half order of curly fries. Now if I wanted portions like that I’d have gone to Captain D’s and got it for 4.99. Not only that but when I went to eat the coleslaw I about threw up! I thought maybe my taste buds were off, so I asked the waitress to try it. She explained she would go to the bk and taste it and then bring another one out. When she came back she informed me that someone in the kitchen had tatsed it, and it turns out they said it tasted like it had gone bad! Do u k ow how disgusting that is? To know I almost ate that how sick could I have been? Even after my friend called for the Manager all she could offer was half order of curly fries. A bigger situation was prevented because we had them taste the Cole slaw, and that’s how they found out it was bad! I could have gotten sick if it wasn’t for my friend who by the way works in the food industry as a chef! I think our meal should have been free!

Sucks that I have to write any of this down but what happen to me yesterday was probably the most embrassing thing thats happen In my life. Yesterday I decide to go to Hooters after work like I always do on Wed. for wingsday.I got to Hooters at 8:30PM with some friend and our kids .
We arrive and the hostess let us know it’s a 30 min wait we decided to wait sense it wasn’t full at all.Shortly 15 min a waitress come up to us and inform us that she we getting a table cleaned and we would be seated in minutes. So 10 minutes pass and nobody is being seated …so my friend goes up to the hostess at this point they had switched hostess and it was a male she asked him if we was going to get seated and pointed to the table that the waitress said she was getting cleaned he was like no my manager said don’t sit no one down till 45 minutes pass because his kitchen is back up but said it with adittude. She came back and explain so we waited more ….since they said it was a 30 min wait then 45 min and at this point we already waited we 25 mimuted to be seated .
When there are plenty of tables without customers and people who had arrive earlier to eat already ate and was leaving .I will point out that people came in and would leave because of the long wait ..that was being told that they would wait..I would say they lost about a total of 30 customers in thay short period. In my head I was like if this was my business I would be upset !
So we countinue to wait .I see the manager walking by,his name Coby its already 9:19pm.
I proceed to him and tell him we have been waiting 45 minutes already can we get seated .I told him I understand your kitchen it behind I have 4 kids with me they are already fustraded can we get seated and get some drinks .He was still continuing to explain that his kitchen was back up .I said I understand but I don’t need services from your kitchen at this point I just want to be seated get me a beer and some sprite for my kids .
He had a very heavy additude instead of trying to accommodate something that can help both of us he wanted to have me wait longer .I was upset and I ask for the cooperate number he yelled it out to me. I ask him to write it down for me he didn’t he ignored me. I ask him so when are we going to get seated ..that when he said you can leave making it an option . I was like no we want to get seated how much longer ?I mean we already waited almost an hour .Then he said he refuse to serve us.He didn’t ask us leave but called the police to escort us out .From my point of view all this could of been avoided if you ask me if he knew how to be a Manger he could had easily sat us down because there was plenty of tables and plenty of waitress standing by him doing nothing.
He could of been considerate that I had my kids.He only made himself look unprofessional and not cable of handling the manager position .
He wasted an hour of my time .My friend did in fact called cooperate and made a complaint .I hope someone gets his attention to serve his customers better since we are the ones who keeps hooters in business not saying that this one thing will put Hooters out of business but it has in fact change my mind about visiting Hooters in downtown Dallas again making hooters build a bad reputation. It was ridiculous , embarrassing matter that could been fixed but instead he sent me away to not be serve and left me being unhappy not caring at all for the time he just had me waste with my kids plus the parking money I lost .To me is wasn’t customer service but customers inconvince.
Sincerely ,
Loyal customer for years Dalila Vasquez

This is regarding the Hooters of NE Philly on Roosevelt Blvd.
I think it is a major disgrace that corporate denied this location having it’s annual Green Bikini Show. The Green Bikini Show has been a tradition for many years. Please contact the manager, Steve Irwin and authorize the Green Bikini Show for NE Philly. When the Hooters Girls get hired, they agree to do promotions. One Hooter Girl, Erin Crowley is drop-dead gorgeous. She has to be in the bikini contest!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hooters in Norfolk Virginia lacks customers service and are unprofessional and display poor conduct. Upon contacting Rebecca Brown the store manager several times to inform her of my horrible in store situation I was advise to call her back because she is busy, I left my number….no call back, and I was also given the run around many times trying to get in contact with her. The non caring attitude she displays proves why the store associates treat customers poorly because her management skills are just as poor. With the many failed attempts to contact the store manager and Khristina Donner the general manager my last resort was to report the matter to Hooters corporate. They promised to rectified the matter and contact the store manager Rebecca Brown. However, Hooters corporate did not take action and did nothing they mention because Rebecca Brown nor Khristina Donner has yet reached out and are still displaying poor conduct.

I haven’t been to Hooters in over 10yrs, and I went a week ago with my son and friend. A waitress, carrying 4 glasses of water, slipped (she said on a lemon, then proceeded to say that she has already told her manager to order new shoes for the staff), spilling all 4 of the glasses all over me. My back side and legs, soaked. The waitress was very apologetic, and she continued to clean the water up with paper towels and the manager jumped in with rags, asking if I needed any to dry off. We ended up waiting over an hour for our food, and received celery while drying off and waiting. After ordering almost 100.00 worth of food (had to order some to go for my husband), OUR waitress writes on the bill, “Man I am so sorry, but thank you ♡.” Really??? Not even a discount? Pretty disappointing and now I know I will definitely never return again. Did I mention that it literally took over an hour to get our dinner? On a final note, why must I share my experience on Facebook or Twitter in order to get more attention?

I’m writing to inform you of some things that are happening in a store of yours in Amarillo , Texas . To start things off my husband was hired in this store back in December they hired him in as a cook it was going good for a little while then his hours went down hill and now he doesn’t even get put on the Schedule at all ! What I’m asking is it your policy to allow your managers to show other employees someone else’s file and what’s in that file and is it your policy to let your employees to work being high on drugs you have one cook in that store that thinks your store can’t run with out him he thinks he is mr hooters and does think that you all will ever fire him or his brother , I know for a fact that this cook cussed out a customer and nothing happened to him no write up and he still has his job ! I feel that you should go in and tell your employees that they haft to take a drug test no warnings at all , I am telling you all this so you know just how your store is being run your managers as I can tell are afraid of their employees cuz they walk all over management this other cook 2 weeks ago threw a fit and walked off his shift and the manager on shift told him if he walked out he was fired and his brother who thinks he is mr hooters went in and got his brothers job back for him and that’s sounds like playing favorites , never new any job that worked like that . I think the name of this one cook is Christopher Glenn Kirkman and hes the one who thinks that hes mr hooters and his brothers name is Cash not sure on his last name and I know for a fact if you make them pee in a cup they both will come up positive for thc they smoke all the time before work after work all the time !! Well just wanted you to know what was going on behind your back . Thank you for your time and help in this matter

Toledo/Monroe St store …never have been to HOOTERS, live a block away, I found that HOOTERS was the ONLY place in town showing the P.P.V. UFC fight. THOUGHT I would stop in with spouse to eat and watch . NO GO, at 945 pm UNABLE to even come close to get a table! EVERYONE at HOOTERS was staying until 1am! NO LIE! NO ONE was leaving! We sat in back lot when we along with all the others being turned Away noticed an ENTIRE back area closed off with a BIG TV with no one in it! !! questioned management, Told no one was available to wait the tables so all closed! even if we were to order only beer ( as a bar customer) we could NOT go in this EMPTY BIG room! plus NO PLACE to stand inside! even at bar area! turned us and NO LIE at least 100 or MORE people away! I lost count of the in and out people coming than leaving a few minutes later!! why do I know this??? MYSELF and 10 of us stood OUTSIDE of said empty room OUTSIDE in the COLD on the deck to watch fight through ! I sat in car 10 till fight started at 11;15 ended at 1am. NOT one person left restaurant! and here was a HUGE EMPTY ROOM? everyone being turned away noticed too, trust me! NOT A GOOD way to do business! word was out that HOOTERS was the ONLY one showing fight so it was non stop people being turned away! they lost BIG BUCKS by #1 NOT opening back room #2 letting EVERYONE sit at restaurant from 6-1am #3) when we asked about buying beer and going in back empty room told NO! Sooo we ALL sat OUTSIDE said empty room and watched through window! just wow Hooters! this was insane! BAD BAD PLANNING! it was basically a PRIVATE BIG party with NO ONE else being admitted ALL sat night! wait list was useless NO one left! trust me I know! i was there 10-1am as witness.. I understand not enough help but WHY could not people go in open BIG ROOM WITH TV to watch the fight and just go to bar to buy a beverage??? they lost SOOOO much $$$$ by turning us all away. I went to my favorite hooters location in west monroe, louisiana and asked to be seated in my favorite waitress’s section. I was told that she was not there anymore. She was the most kind hearted person i have ever met. she was so good to her customers. She was putting her self through college because she wanted to be a physical therapist because her brother was injured buy a drunk driver when she was 5 and he was 10. I saw her onetime stand up in a chair to turn off a ceiling fan because her customers requested that she do so. She always went out of her way to make her customers happy. Was told that she was let go for boguss reason, said she had her phone on her.Really where would she have her phone that anybody could see it in that uniforms. was also told that her maneger Ashley was jealous of her and had been trying to get her fired for along time. another girl told me that ashley was doing some things that were very inapropriate for a manager. BRING ASHLYN Back…she was the best waitress that hotters west monroe ever had. it you all dont get her back a t least look at whats going on with the managers.Ask Questions? something is wrong there.

We,ve been going to the Hooter’s in North Little Rock, AR for ages and it has always been a fun place until about 5 -6 months ago. It appears the local management is trying to turn it into a family restaurant. The Hooter girls are unhappy because the place is in a slow decline, they don’t have any promotional events anymore, they took all the celebrity pictures off the wall and the new-hire girls just aren’t as pretty.
If Hooter’s is planning on becoming a Wendy’s/Burger King/Chucky Cheeze typw of place that just sells beer I guess I’ll have to become a Twin Peaks patron.

A couple of friends and I went to eat at the Hooters in downtown St. Louis. All I can say, horrible. Our bartender was ok not too friendly. Very direct and serious. We order some nachos and those came out in a decent amount of time. Then we also ordered three orders of the boneless, bone in and shrimp combo. We asked for all order to be bone in and shrimp grilled not fried. Took more than half an hour to get our food. I understand if it was crazy busy, but it wasn’t even close to busy. Some girls were standing around on their phones and talking with one another. My brother works at the hooters in Maryland Heights, MO and he knows it doesn’t take that long to get food out. Also, one of the cooks, Was mouthing off some things I believe no employee should be saying to a customer. We spent over $100 and that will be the last time I will be eating at your restaurant again.

First of all, let me say that I usually enjoy eating at any of Hooters. Last week I was the Hooters in Panama City Beach, Florida. The first and second time the food and service was great, one of the servers, Katarina, was top notch, was always checking to see if I needed anything. On Thursday September 11th our server, Dana, just didn’t add up to Hooters quality. First of all, two tall Coors was ordered, instead of a mug, I was told they didn’t have any clean, so we received four beer in plastic glasses, which by the time I finished my first beer the other one was warm. It took 20 minutes to ger the appetizer, cold fried peppers, another 20 minutes to get the Shrimp po boy, roll fresh out of the fridge. It took over an hour for something that should have been done in 30 minutes or less. The manager wasn’t much help, took the my bill and said well he had a young kitchen, and he had received complaints on the server before. Then asked how long was we going to be ther and when I told him we were leaving the next day all he said was oh well if you were staying longer I would give you a free meal, to bad you can’t stay. Also the whole time we spent that evening, we had to watch another server XXXX her leg over a stool, and hang all over some guy, I do know that is what they are there fore, but this got to be a little much. The manager said yea I know, we have received complaints before. Such a sad way to close out a good time. Guess two out of three times is pretty good, but I think it might be awhile before I give Hooters another visit. To bad I love the food there, as well as my husband does. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Carol Sanderson.

I recently visited the Hooters at the inner harbor and this was the worst experience i ever had I don’t know if its under new management because I never had a bad complaint about this location the girls are usually nice, outgoing always offering meals to choose from on the menu, playing games and entertaining their customers. Usually it’s always packed which is a sign of good business but on 9/9/14 the service was horrible it was slow & they had 3 females come to my table to take my order and one of the females took my order incorrectly after I explained to her exactly what I wanted. If I had one server this would not have happened but then again the females don’t listen alot of them where just sitting around. I was double charged for two of my meals. If they didn’t understand my order the appropriate thing was to double check and ask. I work for Chipotle and Customer service is a big deal at my job, had we gotten a order incorrect for the inconvenience. We would have given the costumer there meal w. A discount or their refund back . I didn’t receive good customer service and on top of that I’m being inconvenienced waiting for $100 to be placed back on my card that still hasn’t been transferred to my account. it was not my fault my order was rung up incorrectly but know I’m being pushed for Hooters poor service I will never visit this location again.

Ok it’s Tuesday Sept. 9th 2014 and I’m so upset. I’m a 50 year old healthcare Executive and been going to Hooters for years. I have even been to the original Hooters in Clearwater Fla many times when I lived in Tampa. My question is what happen to the Hooters I know and grew up with. Did it get bought out or something because I’m so disappointed with the new owners. I was out to night with my girlfriend celebrating I knew job. Sure I had a few beers as I am in Hooters where you drink beers relax and eat great food. Well apparently management at a restaurant in Houston Texas took it apone themselves to decide I had had enough to drink and cut me off. Well this to me is rediculase. Not only Am I 50 years old and obviously know what my limit is but have never been in trouble with the law and never been convicted of DUI. Who are they to dictate when I have had enough. This to me is unexceptable. It’s hard for me to say but I will never visit another Hooters in my life. The changes are too extreme. Good luck new owner but you lost a long timer and all my friends. I’m very serious (f*ck hooters)

On saturday august 16 2014 3 coworkers and i attended the hooters in odessa on john ben parkway.after leaving a cash tip i come to find out 2 days later that i was billed an excess on my credit card for a tip that i didnt approve. That is very upsetting and dishonest. I expected to have a dinner with coworkers not to get ripped off at dinner. I explained the situation to the manager jimmy who was helpful in crediting the charge after he researched it and relized i was incorrectly billed. I am very upset with hooters employing shady waitresses who decide to make a quick buck in hopes the customer wont realize.

I visited the Joliet,Illinois location yesterday. The waiter (Melenie) was very rude. As we stood in front of her & gave her our information she took it down & seated a party that cameafter us with the ssame amount of guest. The other party had the same amount of guest and no reservations. Some of the staff were very rude. I have so much more to say I would like for the head cooperate to contact to me or I will continue to try and reach you guys.

My wife and I were looking g for a restaurant to enjoy the preseason games in Jacksonville, NC while visiting family here, it was a pop up between BWW and hooters on western Blvd. We chose Hooters, apparently a big mistake. No draft miller lite or coors light, but they conveniently had the higher markup bottles. I assumed in a larger market draft would never be an issue. Guess I made an ass of you and me.

I used to be a regular customer of the Hooters-NASA store located in Webster, Tx over the course of 14.5 years. Spent a lot of money in that restaurant, on occasion. This bartendress named Jade Hart-Ngo, was seemingly a very nice, courteous and congenial bartendress. Just on the passed five years or so, she has started/barred trouble. I walked in, back in September, 2013. For the first three weekends of that month, everything seemed all right. But, on the last week of Sept. 2013, I had just walked in to sit down at the bar(since I was solo), and order a beer or two. Within less than five minutes, this “Mgr ” walks up and wants to speak with me out in the foyer:entrance. So I got up and went to speak with him. Well, nonetheless, our conversation went ok, not great, but ok. Wound up sitting at a table across from where I was sitting at the bar, amongst my regular friends(on a regular basis, where my so-called “was” favorite bartendress Jade would wait on me, Apparently, after getting word from other coworkers/employees about how rumors started spreading around, that were and are UNTRUE,…I have developed a “bitter stagma” for ANY Hooters Restaurant. Jade Hart-Ngo seemed to be such a wonderful, fun-loving bartendress to be around over the course of these passed 14.5 years. Apparently, from what I gather, she has begun to feel uncomfortable when I come in. For WHATEVER reason, I will never know because she never takes the time to go with a store mgr and I together to find out why she feels this way. As a regular customer, I would spend @ least a $1,000/mth in that particular store(whether it be merchandise or humongous tips to the Hooter girls-JUST to make their somewhat bad $ making night better @ times,…indiscreetly!! The way Jade acts, maybe not always towards me, but towards OTHER customers, really needs to be reevaluated on her professional performance as a Hooter Girl & a Hooter Bartendress. I have ALWAYS tried to do my best, as a regular customer, not instigate nor provoke ANY trouble. Always minded my own business and mingled with other regular customers on occasion. All I can and WILL say, is that I had enjoyed going to Hooters-NASA over the course of 14.5 years, until THIS issue. It is a shame that as you were once a money-spending regular customer, that even as long as Jade Hart-Ngo, has been there and seen you on occasion, knows your disposition, as I do in my line of work, that she apparently seems to want to be difficult. I took a chance, and did stop in ALMOST a year later, and this SAME exact b.s. Drama happens again!!! You’d almost think that we were a married couple with the way this drama is going on!!! Congratulations on Terry Marks becoming the new CEO of Hooters! I did have the pleasure of meeting Coby Brooks the ex-CEO, back in 2010. Jade Hart-Ngo, has been employed with Hooters ever since I have met her and that was back in Jan, 2000. As we get older, things do change and some people change. I probably will not go into ANY Hooters for several years to come because of this undefying issue with Jade. As I have said before, I have developed a bitter stagma towards Hooters, but what USED to be a great atmosphere of watching games, getting waited on, telling clean jokes, and MOST of all SPENDING MONEY! Turning a bad night for some Hooter Girls into a wonderful night of work. Wish you all the best!

Dear Executive Staff,
I am emailing to appeal to your patriotism. I am a career soldier with 3 OIF tours in my portfolio (2003, ground war), (2006-2007), and (2008-2009). I have served 19 years in the Army, and I am finishing my active duty service near Wilmington, NC. I applied to a open position in your kitchen staff for night and weekend work to keep my mind occupied during my down time. I can work 7 days a week if needed, very dependable, always on-time, never call in, and maintain my Army values and work ethic. I have only been in the area for 3 days now. The position I applied for is 2014-3079. Thank you for your precious time and consideration.

My wife works in the area of the May and NW Expressway restaurant, in the N. Oklahoma City area. We have enjoyed relaxing at the bar and eating dinner with the other regulars. We enjoy the conversation and watching the special events with the other patrons.
We went in a few nights ago and were told by one of the other regulars that they could overhear a visiting district manager discussing employee scheduling. He said he didn’t give a XXXXX if the girls liked the schedule, and if they complained to fire them.
After seeing the CEO of the company on Undercover Boss I would have thought there would have been more tact and a little more people skills than this. Now I’m hearing that some of the favorite wait staff has been released for being over weight (which actually had not changed since her hiring date). She was a longtime employee with a large following of regulars also. This caused others to quit as she was well liked among her fellow employees.
I have since then talked to some of the other girls and regulars and because of the lack of communication within the store you now have a morale issue that is obvious even to the customers. Management is in flux and needs to have some sensitivity training. Hoping to see things improve.
Your valued Customer,
Alan

My girlfriend and I dined in at this location last night to watch Game 5 of the NBA Finals . We’ve been there before and knew it would be busy because of the game , but we NEVER expected the experience we had . After we placed our order , we proceeded to watch a few tables receive their food , who ordered AFTER us . After about 50 minutes of waiting for our order , we asked what was taking so long and also to speak with a manager . About 20 minutes later we were told that he said that he would “get to us when he got to us” . That honestly should have been our que to leave , but we had already been waiting over an hour for our food and were hungry . When the manager , Monzell/Moncell finally came to our table , he was not only unapologetic , he was extremely rude and short with us . He told us that we had to remember that they had to go orders and other things to do so our food would come when it came . At this point I was ready to walk out and I let him know how this was no way to conduct business nor speak to guests . He rolled his eyes and walked away . Right behind him came our server with our food . We made another (wrong) decision to stay and eat our food . After we ate , we asked to speak with the manager again because he had offered no rectification for this situation , all I really wanted was an apology . He ignored us again , which at this point was really just humorous to me . When he did come over he said “I told her 20 minutes ago that I took care of your check , what else do you want ?!” . First of all we had never been informed of this information . In addition , I don’t know what kind of MANAGER would speak with such disrespect to someone dining in their establishment . We were frequent visitors of this location but after this we will absolutely never be back . You have a really great thing going here and none of this reflects on ANY of the Hooters girls , but Monzell/Moncell is one of the poorest excuses for a manager I have ever encountered .

My husband and me love hooter we usually go to the one in Rivergate tn. But we had business in Murfreesboro are and went to that one on nw Broadway it’s new nice place. But let’s start with are server had no personalty but no big deal right well wrong. We order our favorite appetizer which is the Buffalo shrimp let me say someone screwing somebody cause the shrimp was tiny salad shrimp. One in Rivergate are big shrimp. They were so bad that it took a minute to chew them. Barely had sauce on them. Then it took along time on food. But ok no rush well our order was simple Daytona wings side salad curly fries with cheese. Extra Daytona sauce onside. Well we got the salad same time as food and no extra sauce we asked the server that brought food to table about the extra sauce her comment was you have to tell your server I can’t ring it up nor get it. Wow I was like really that’s rude. I’ve been a server/bartender for 15 years and never treat anyone like that. Also our server meagan rather stayed at the bar talking instead of waiting her 2 tables she had. She seen us looking trying to get her attention and would turn her head. The salad was awful brown nasty lettuce. We had to ask manager finally for extra sauce that we had already requested and for more beer. Also when we asked meagan for an ice bag for pitcher she was very rude like why we said don’t want it to get hot that’s why. Finally she brought the ice bag 15 minutes later and again she only had 2 tables and rather stand at bar talk and laugh instead of her job. We are big tippers and I’m talking we tip 20 on a 25 dollar check or 30 on a 50 dollar check. But this is the first time we have ever tipped as less as we did are check was 60 so we tipped 10 just cause we are nice like that although she didn’t deserve it at all. We will never go back to that hooter since they cheat you on your food and half the crew including management likes to stand around at bar and talk and look at you like what I’m not here to work just to play. We didn’t complain to management because we don’t want someone spitting in our food and plus they acted like a bunch of loud obnoxious drunks laughing out so loud from bar you could here in the dinning section. Plus it didn’t feel like hooter in there. Oh also we asked for wet naps and the server said they were out but a table across from us asked there server and she gave them several handfuls. So yeah our server meagan was lazy.

Hi Ms. Montano,
I’m currently a guest staying at your hotel (checked in 5/21) and I was encouraged to buy the reservation through Expedia because of your Hooter’s reputation. I was on a road trip from Michigan and am headed to California. I have been on the road for past four days, driving 10 hours each day. Yesterday, my trip lasted 15 hours because I was trying to make it to Las Vegas. I was looking forward to coming “home” to a room that is clean, tidy, and had amenities that were functional and able to be used. I do not expect to receive a Hilton type of experience, but bare basics that meet my traveling needs.
I was placed in room 236 and the room had many issues. Here are some of the issues and please let me know if they are unrealistic and my current complaint is unwarranted. I expected a drain in the bathtub that works- ours didn’t. Further, the shower head did not transfer water so that I can take a proper shower. There was also not enough hot water for three people to take a shower consecutively. There was no iron and the drain in the bathroom sink did not work. There were two other people with me; my daughter and my wife and we were all tired, exhausted and looking to take care of our basic physical needs instead we had to call the front desk, wait, and not take showers and just deal with the situation. Further, the room door did not work- it was hard to open and creaked every time I opened it. We felt tired, uncomfortable, exhausted and feeling extremely frustrated that there were all of these basic issues that did not need to be there.
When I called the front desk to share with them the issues that I had regarding the room, I was given an apology but no follow up with action to make me believe that you cared about me as a customer- I’m not asking you to care about me personally on your individual behalf but rather on behalf of your company- I paid to receive that care therefore I expect it. Finally, I came back down myself to the front desk to ask for a room switch. I had to initiate all action and for the change to occur even though this is your hotel’s job. It’s also your responsibility as a customer service provider to give a service that first delivers what it advertises but also provides professional service. The lack of care that I received was unprofessional and has definitely damaged my opinion of Hooters.
I would like to ask you to place yourself in my situation: what if you were traveling from the east coast or the Midwest by car, driving for at least 10 hours per day , you had two other people with you and you were tired, exhausted and looking for some physical comfort and care at the end of your trip. Would you be satisfied with the service that I just described above from your hotel?
Joe

Just had dinner with the family at one of your restaurants here in Tampa. I had the fish taco. The Mahi mahi was perfect, my only complaint is that your menu lists pico de gallo, and you serve salsa…cheap old el paso type salsa. I spoke to the manager, and he told me that the tinned salsa is what corporate sends them. My thought is this. It is actually cheaper to make a fresh pico de gallo, and it would improve the taste of your fish tacos. All you need is to take a fresh jalapeño, a large tomato, a small to medium onion, chop the up, add a little lime juice and cilantro, and your done. You can make a larger amount, keep it refrigerated for the day and you would spend less, have fresher ingredients, and improve your fish taco. Just saying.

So when I came in the host sat me at a table that hadn’t been wiped down and ordered wings and fried pickles. The pickles were fried so hard they were like rocks. Manager took it off the bill but when I found a damn hair do you know what he told me? Those are feathers. Are you kidding me? You’re trying to tell me it’s a feather. It’s one thing to mess up an order another to lie to me. I’m a waiter myself and I’m disgusted by this.

My daughter was hired as a Hooter girl in West Springfield, Ma. After working 4 to 5 days a week and loving it she went to work and was called into the office by manager Dennis. She was told they were using there 90 day option to let her go. She asked if there was something she did wrong and was told it was nondisplinary. Really, is that fair to be let go with no reason at all. No I don’t think so.

Went to Loveland Colorado location, service was so so in between every server had friends in the spent time talking to and eating at the bar, at tables and just behind the bar.
While sitting there I notice how dirty the entire place was. Dust bunnies on light and vents. Lights burned out. Broken light covers. Dirty walls etc. I have not been to a Hooters for quite some time and will not be returning. The person I believed to be the Manager did nothing but talk to a man at the bar for over 1 hour the time I was in. Maybe a great chance to assign some accountability and daily duties to clean the place up and not stand around?

My husband is a former Hooters employee in Chattanooga, TN. He has tried contacting the current managers NUMEROUS times about how to retrieve his W2 so we can file taxes. The only reason he is not currently employed there is he was in a horrible car accident last summer and broke his back, so he had them go ahead and fill his spot on the line. Neither of 2 managers there can seem to get him a working link to retrieve his W2. He’s even tried contacting a former manager that he knows. No help there either. NO ONE seems to know how to get the 2013 W2’s. I know if mailed, they MUST be post marked by Jan 31. That’s in 2 days. We have received every other piece of info we need to file taxes, EXCEPT the Hooter’s W2.

My family and I absolutely love Hooters, we order wings regularly and occasionaly dine in. What better way to enjoy week 17 football games than with Hooters hot wings? So I pick up the phone and attempt to order for my extended family and I, at Hooters Las Cruces in New Mexico at 3530 Foothills Rd. To make a long story short, I called a total of 13 times, to be hung on by Hooters employee “Erika”. I have no idea why she never even gave me the opportunity to place my order. After approximately 6 attempts she cursed at me telling me to ” fu@$ off” and “fu@$ you.” After that she would pick up the line and immediately hang up. I am appalled as to how I was treated.
Still adamant on having some wings, I finally get through to place an order, after I had spoken with Nidia the temporary manager. When picking up the wings, I asked to speak to Nidia once again, she then proceeded to justify Erika’s actions with ” you know how it is” and “she didnt mean it towards you.” I was completely floored by the unprofessional manner of how she handled the situation. She did condescendingly offer a discount, but that was not what I wanted. I wanted to know that the establishment i know and love, would uphold their integrity by reprimanding the employee whom had the gull to curse out a customer, a prospective customer at that, being that I had yet to actually place an order.
I ended up speaking to William the actual store manager, and he was much more professional and seemed to understand the customer service business. Furthermore, I will be contacting William’s supervisor John Frazier as well as Brian Hood.

First off let me start by saying I love the bbq garlic breaded wings w/ curly fries!!!! Ok, now on a serious note. Saturday 10/19 around 11:00pm, my friends and I decided that we would love some wings. We were told by a hostess (not sure of name but wish I did) that the wait would be 20 min. After 35 min of waiting, I decided to ask how much longer. She informed me that with the game going on nobody wants to get out of their seat. I later said, well that is fine but you should have communicated to us that the wait would be longer and suggested that maybe we do take out and offer us a menu. She ignored my comment and gave 5 of my friends and myself 1 menu to look at. Meanwhile, she sat a couple down, who came in after us. She sat them at a table that could fit 5 people. I asked her why did she do that and she stated that she was being courteous because the lady was in a wheelchair. My response was, well we were here first and waiting way longer then they were. Being courteous is holding the door open for the lovely couple in a wheel chair, being courteous is informing us that the wait would be longer and if we would like to sit at the bar or have a menu and order to go. Not seating people before their time. I just believe that the hostesses may need training in the restaurant business. That was very unprofessional an rude. I hope that you will pass this on to the managers, so they may discuss this with their staff. Thank you for your time and attention.
p.s. we never got to order our wings ;(
