Foster Farms was founded in 1939 by Max and Verda Foster in Modesto, California. The couple initially started off with turkeys, with the back porch of the house being the company office. Foster Farms operates a large West coast poultry company.
Today, the company is one of the largest poulty producers in the West, known more for their chickens than turkeys. The company has fought hard to keep the word “natural” in their products and attempting to keep the poultry industry free from animal abuse or other types of animal mismanagement.
Foster Farms is still owned and operated by the Foster Family. In 2013, the company was certified as a “humane producer” by the American Humane Society.

I got a package of your chicken parmesan the other day and found out it only had 3 patties in, now I got some before and there were at least 4 or more in it. So we are a family of 4 and one of us did not get any, I felt really disappointed

I bought a Foster farm turkey at fred Meyers and put it in a turkey bag at 350 degrees and after about 5 and half hours the legs of the turkey were not done so cooked it some more and took it out of the oven to slice and the legs were still not done could not even pull them off the bone like I usually can . mine usually falls right off the bone . and the meat was still aweful pink was very disappointed as I had a large group for dinner. It was a 19 pounder and cost me 29.77. I also bought some legs and thighs and cooked them the day for extra juice for my gravey which they just come off the bone real good I would like to hear a answer from you
Thank you Rosealie Lauckhart

My wife served turkey legs (3 pkg) last night and they were very tough. They were cooked at 350 for one hour, which may have been too long (not sure) , but 165 degrees was reached internally. They were close to shoe leather and we tossed them. They were purchased at Safeway “fresh” with the label stating “use or freeze by 06/03/17”. Would the 1 day late create this? They seemed to be “old” and this caused the bad result. I am asking if this could have been prevented by doing anything different other than not purchasing the turkey legs. They were $2.39 lb and weighed 2.49 ($7.42 total price). We do purchase Foster Farms chicken regularly. We were very disappointed,
