The company grew rapidly, expanding first in Texas, then in the midwestern states in the 1990’s. At one time, the company was second in popularity and size only to Chi Chi’s restaurants. The chain has not done so well into the 2000’s, causing it to be sold several times. Slowly, franchises and company owned locations were forced to close their doors. There are only 9 locations as of July of 2017.

I’ve been going there for years no complaints service was always great mangers were greatest people for was great then went down but always fixit place in grand prairie tx to feel at home to eat mexican food and drinks
I feel the same way as you. My husband and I love Don PABLOS in GP and go there all the time. LOVED the food and service people there. Cant believe they are shutting it down. WE are just SICK. There is no other Hispanic restaurants around that area that we like going to. We were there so often and always sat in the bar area so we could watch TV that they knew us by name and would a lot of time ask us if we wanted this or that to eat (our usual) and we’d tell them YES. NOW that is a good restaurant where the wait staff remembered us. I always thought they had a good customer status. Plenty of people there, so I dont understand why they shut down.
