I am waiting from Mr William’s to resolve an issue with your online schooling and all I’m getting is calls from other staff other than Mr. William’s. Jasmine the assistant has explained every thing to Mr William’s and will only resolve with the persons I have explained the problem. This is for the Phoenix location. I appreciate to hear from Mr. William’s to resolve this problem, without having to escalate it to your office

My name is Stacey Wright, and I am the spouse of Luis De Carvalho, Student ID #D01438941 My husband is approaching the completion of his degree program, and in financial preparation, he contacted DeVry in March 2015 to determine the remaining balance required for his tuition. He was notified of an amount of approximately $5000.00.
On Sunday July 12, 2015, I was notified by my spouse that he had received notification of a “change in financial aid status.” He did contact DeVry the following business day where he was notified of a “mix-up” and that his financial aid was “improperly calculated”. As the sole financial provider for this family, I took a personal interest in this matter.
Today I called De Vry at 12:56 pm, to determine the situation. I was informed that Luis’ aggregate loan limit had been reached, and that he is no longer receiving financial aid for his education. As a result, he now has an outstanding balance of $6999.00. Presumably, this is of no consequence to you, explaining the absence of proper notification, but this creates an enormous and unexpected financial burden to us. I remain unclear as to why this has not been discussed with him before this point, where proper planning on my part could have occurred to make allowances for these funds. In addition, I am curious as to how he managed to enroll in classes while unaware of said balance. I understand that you are a large school with many students- certainly it is difficult to keep up with all of them. But I find this a very despicable business practice. I have absolutely no idea how I might pay this balance, and am hoping you can offer some suggestions. I am asking whoever is in authority of this situation to contact me by telephone as soon as possible.
Regards,
Stacey Wright
