Delta Dental Plans Association is a dental plan system which comprises 39 independent Delta Dental member companies.
Delta Dental began in 1954 with the formation of dental service corporations by dentists who wanted to increase access to oral health care in California, Washington, and Oregon.
Deltan Dental Plans Association (DDPA) was created in 1966 to bring these state organizations together and to coordinate care for companies with employees in different states. The company contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield Association in states without a Delta Dental affiliate.
Member companies now provide coverage in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Member companies are all sizes, with some as small as tens of employees and some as large as thousands of employees and covering ten states.
The 39 member companies contract with more than 97,000 large and small employer groups to provide dental care benefits through HMO, PPO, and POS plans.
In September 2021, Delta Dental announced a new plan to help those with disabilities receive proper dental care.
Also in September 2021, Delta Dental of Kentucky provided 10,000 toothbrushes to under-served kids.
Delta Dental maintains a corporate office in Oak Brook, Illinois.

I am trying to get a hold of the Legal Dept. of Delta Dental CA. By Law the Delta Dental Company has to have a human as there Representative for Court purposes!!!!! A name , Address , and a phone number would be good so a subpena could be served with info of the court you will be attending !!!! thank You for the info !!!! if no response from you the court will give me the necessary info . this claim could be reasonably settled if I could get the Legal Dept. info which is being refused at this time????

Last year I enrolled in Delta Care USA. At that time I requested a new customer packet to be sent to my home. As of this date (4/2019) I have not received anything. I need information telling me what services are available. I am not able to go on-line and print out everything, so please send me what I have requested.
Thank you.

Dear Sir/Mrs/Miss:
My dental bill yesterday morning was $3385.00 for temporary 5-crowns, a bridge and a partial. I have the receipt with the many codes. I would like to verify the correctness or precision of this bill with some agent of DeltaCare Dental Claims Department. I am a retired teacher from the Duval county School system in Jacksonville, Florida. Please send me a book to compare insurance codes and members’ prices OR have an agent telephone me to verify the dental fee of $3385 I paid yesterday.
Gratefully,
Michael P. wolan

I have been trying to contact anyone at Delta Dental of California for over two months to ask questions about retirement. I keep calling and finally someone called back to give me another contact who now does not call back. It seems that Delta Dental of California wants to keep their Human Resources contacts hidden since there are no telephone numbers provided.
Is there a retirement plan for former employees? If there is how many years employment is necessary to qualify for the retirement plan?
My wife worked for Delta Dental of California for a number of years and we hoped she may be eligible.
Contacting Human Resources should not be so difficult.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I was a customer of Tricare for Life Dental program that was discontinued on 1/1/2019. I was told that I could get coverage beginning on that date with the Benefeds program. On November 15 I registered there and received an email confirming the registration that I picked the Delta Dental program. On December 23 I received an email from Delta Dental requesting I complete the enrollment with your company. To do this I needed to put my name, date of birth, social security number and if I was an applicant of dependent. This I did 12 separate times on several different days, with the result is I am not in the program. I have tried the phone number 1-855-410-3255. None of the options allow me to talk with a real person and the options do not fit any of my problems. I have a dental appointment on January 11th and need to complete the registration. How can I get ahold of someone who can assist me with getting the registration completed and get my ID number? I did contact the Benefeds office today and they are able to verify my registration with my name, DOB, and Social Security number, therefore the problem is on your end!

I am emailing you to advise of a very frustrating issue that I am having with your company, My claim number are #161310022 for 144.00 and #161310023 for 399.00 I didn’t receive your first notice, so once I received the second, I called and advised I would send check to pay asap, I sent both checks together on 07/10/17, then I got a final notice and was advised that it needed to be paid by 08/04/17 or it would be turned over to a collections agency, I called again and advised that I was concerned that the check hadn’t been cashed I offered to cancel it and send new ones but the rep advised that it can take 90days for them to post the check and couldn’t even tell me if the checks have been received, she advised that there are no other ways to make a pmnt meanwhile I am stuck with waiting for checks to be cashed and possible adverse credit impact. I have called a total of 3 time and my wife an additional 2 and still no resolution. All I want is to pay and ive been given no options, only to wait for a payment to post, all the while running the possibility of negative credit reporting, I am now considering taking legal action if adversely impacted or contacting the media. My name is Gerardo Martinez if you wish to contact me for resolution pls do so at 951-337-XXXXX
