Deb Shops has had serious financial problems since the recession of 2008. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2011 and then again in 2014. The company was forced to close all 295 locations. Today, Deb Shops operates strictly as an online and catalog retailer.

The customer support system in place for this company is horrific. I’ve waited on hold for 30+ minutes only to give up and chat in. Rosie never acknowledged me in the chat or said a word. I chatted again and told Iza what happened. Instead of offering to help or warning, she transferred me to … guess who… Rosie. Again I waited for a response. 7 min later she asked for info. After provided I waited another 7 min only to be told one moment. Another 7 or so minutes and she left the chat. Now I’m on hold again at the 15 min mark. Just be be clear, this is my 3rd day trying to reach someone. I’m not sure if anyone even cares that the support is terrible. Surely this isn’t the first complaint . I would rather cancle my order now than try to have it fixed.
