For I have faith that Ms. Candy pocket the money and choose not to communicate to Ivy Fiance so that I cannot produce a loan. For the action needs to be taken urgency of the removal of Ms. Candy because of the shortage of financials, not closing the deal marked as incomplete, cause more delays for poverty & insufficiency. checksmart cashed a check that has already been cahsed and did not even ask or check for ID and now the governemtn is after me for 1200 dollars because it was a stimulus check, i even proved that it wasnt me and it still got taken, so now i have to be involved in a law suite

Called corporate headquarters to pay a check that I cashed that was returned. Check was for 800. So i owed them 880. They run my card 2 times and said it was declined even though I know I had the money in the bank. Called my bank to see why it was declined they tell me its pending. I look at my account online and see that it is pending. Call back the corporate headquarters to tell them that its pending they still say it was declined. Don’t know how that worked but okay. It’s now Wednesday and it still pending. Meanwhile they put my original check back in and it cashed. Called my bank again to see what I could do. They told me to have checksmart call them and they can put it back in my account right away. Dan the “supervisor” at corporate got irate and said he’s not calling anybody. I have a small business and holding that money is really hurting me.

I mistakenly told the cashier the wrong amount an I mistakenly gave her $100 too much.
I know how much I had an she refused to refund my money or rewind the tape.

cam in last month and got a loan was told to come in on dec 23rd to sign the papers which we had forgotton about due to xmas. this was not my first loan threw them and i have paid back every single one on time sometimes sooner then the due date. When i called the day after xmas i was hung up on not once but twice then was told they were sending the check to my bank even tho i told her repeatidly that it would overdraft my account, my first installment wasnt even due until 1/4 they wouldnt even work with me wouldnt allow me to even get a word in they were very rude and disrespectful i was then told theyd have to wait for my bank to bounce the check before theyd even set up an agreement. this is not how you run a buisness i will pay back what was borrowed but this is not a company i will ever work with again

Will most likely never visit this location again. Always have a pleasant experience with Kahlen, not so much with Kim. Kim wrote the wrong date on my check, I called it out on my paperwork. She said its fine, you’ll have until the following Monday to come in. I explained it wouldnt be after work if I missed my original due date. She said “that’s fine we are here until 7.” When I called the Monday after due date to confirm, I spoke with Kim. She told me she didnt remember telling me that. I requested to have her pull the check to jog her memory. She refused and said “sorry, its the new law.” No wonder people are so frustrated with this location, although this is the first time I’ve complained, its not the first time I’ve recieved incorrect information from this representative. Perhaps she needs some additional training so that she doesnt make as many mistakes and cause people unnecessary stress.

The location in Erlanger Kentucky is HORRIBLE and The two women working there that My Better Half and I dealt with were really very RUDE and super slow. When We walked into the store the older lady with gray hair was the only one working and there were 3 people in front of us. We was there for about 45 mins. The second lady came in about midway through and just took her sweet time and played around her window. I asked her a few times if she was about ready and she said not even close. So the older lady ended up waiting on Us. She was Very rude right from the start. We was there to cash an $800 check and My Man always gets 1% and it’s even in the system. She didn’t like it so asked a million questions about things that didn’t even have anything to do with the check then told Us we’d have to wait why she called somebody to varify the 1% which has NEVER been done before…..The woman was so ugly and down right RUDE that we decided to take and cash the check elsewhere. I will. EVER go back to this place again and I will NOT rest until this is settled and the proper apologies are given!! I will call every news station around if I have to……It’s NOt right to treat honest hard working people like that and I WON’T stand for it!!!!

I think that it’s really strange that the check smart located on Arlington St. Located in East Akron. Ohio does not all it’s employees to take a lunch break. They either have to stand at the service counter and eat while serving customers or walk to the back, take a bite of food, just to rush back to the counter. I’ve even asked where the manager was at and the employee pointed to the lady that was sitting, talking about her personal business to another co worker. I made it my daily routine for a week to come in at different times of the day to see the same employee waiting on everybody while the line was very long and his line the only one open and the same lady just sitting discussing her personal business with other ladies. Not being able to have a lunch break and working straight through everyday is just wrong. I plan on taking this to the local paper next.

i was 7 days late paying off a loan. I paid it on the 7th day, on the 8th day they deducted the amount out of my checking account.. I called to let them know I paid it the day before. they so unpoliteloy informed me. they showed no overpayment and that I would have to wait until they showed an overpayment to do anything about it, so now its been almost a week and still no refund put back into my account. im contacting the bbb and letting them know how they conduct business.

I have never been so disrespected by someone in customer service before in my LIFE! The man who got in contact with me Stephen torez was THE RUDEST MOST INCONSIDERATE person I have ever delt with. After explaining to him my situation telling him that I have been out of the country for work and letting him know that I spoke to my regular location about my issue he immediately cut me and off And threatened me multiple times saying he would call the police and said that if I didn’t pay what I owe today that I would be arrested. I have referred a lot of people to checksmart in the past but NEVER again. This company treats all of there customers like garbage it is absolutely rediculous and shameful. They are constantly harassing people even after you have already spoke to someone and set up an arraignment for a payment. Calling someone and threatening them is no one to handle business and no way to get money from someone. I will NEVER be dealing with these people after today. This has been the WORST customer service experience of my life. This company is no better then dealing with a loan shark. They are verbally abusive and defiantly a company that I will NEVER be using again. I would rather go to check into cash or ANY other company who doesn’t verbally abuse there long time customers!!!!!!!!

Your company has screwed me over not once but twice now within 2 weeks!!! The first was on 01/21/16 I paid my loan in cash at the store and got a new loan the same day. Which you cannot diue unless it’s paid in full! Well the next day your company took $651.97 out of my account and overdraw my account. I called and they said the representative entered it in as $561.97 and I still owes $90. WRONG. They finally refunded me back my money and overdraft fees and said it was taken care of. Now today your company took $106 that you are not owed out of my account and once again over drew my account. Now your corporate office says no one can help me until Monday!! I have never been more disgusted with a company and the way they treat their customers. I have always paid every loan back with no problems and this is what i get. I can say after this I will not use your company again after trying to steal money from me twice. I am a hardworking person and I do live paycheck to paycheck and you do not understand the hardship this puts on someone. I need to have this rectified immediately.

Unfortunately, we do not submit payment until your payments are at least 20 days past due. Which we do call to make contact to set up arrangements. If nothing is done on your part to make arrangements we have no choice but to try and collect the funds. Like I stated above you would have been at least 20 days past due, when you made your payment an eft was already submitted and cannot be cancelled once in progress, hence why you were refunded which I apologize cannot be done on a weekend because the banks are not open. I’m sorry you had a bad experience, but you do sign for the contract which states you will be in on your due dates to make payment which you agree to.

The flyer you get in the mail saying you can get $600.00 is false!!!You can only borrow $500.00 in Missouri.It supposedly is a mistake from their main office !! here’s a clue: they do not care. the bbb has no regulatory authority over them or their business practices. (btw the bbb is a bought into club. as long as a business pays their dues they will have an acceptable rating. If a business ceases to pay the annual fee (approx 300 in az?) they might not be happy with their resulting deeply downgraded rating.
(our business, with ZERO unanswered/unresolved complaints was downgraded from an A grade to an F. The only change? I stopped paying them, because I started to feel like they were the mob and I was paying protection money. In the end, I don’t think I was being unreasonable, considering the action they took against my honest, upstanding company.

I received an auto loan with CheckSmart over 2 years ago. I defaulted and my vechicle was repossessed. I paid $1000.00 and retrieved my vechicle, Mr. Torres from the management team made arrangements for me to pay $200.00 a month. Because of all the problems I had with the repossession I am requesting the balance of the loan be forgiven
If that is not possible, I have paid through January 2014, with two credit card payments not being posted to the account. I have been having financial problems and now I would like to make a settlement agreement with Buckeye title loan for less than $1700.00 balance that the Executive office says is owed. as I no longer have the vechicle in my possession. The vechicle is at an auto repair shop. Mr. Torres has been very patient, I would like a settlement amount or to reinstate the $200.00 payment arrangement. I want to pay this off. Horrible customer service. Employees are very rude and condescending, even at the corporate level. At one point a manager hung up on me after being very rude. My payments have always been on time yet employees keep calling me at work and on my cell phone multiple times per day even though I just talked to another employee to let them know I will be in tomorrow. I will never give them my business again!

Check smart is nothing but a scam. They continue to cash checks into my bank account and i can’t seem to get a hold of a person to talk to. They have overdrawn my account at least $100 not including overdraft fees.
