This is the second time I’ve been to Casa G in Manor and the service is SUBPAR!! My husband and I are REGULARS, as in visiting this establishment 4-5 times a week! We spend $30 to $40 every time we come. We tip EXCELLENT and can’t understand what’s going on!! The first time, we were sat, no one took our drinks until WE asked someone to get us our drinks. Then no one took our order until I GOT UP TO REQUEST SOMEONE TAKE MY ORDER! Then my husband needed a refill so he LITERALLY GOT UP AND asked the waitress in the “drink refill room” for a refill. I was almost tempted to walk out without paying since no one would bring us our check!!! I told the hostess I’d chased the service all night, I was not chasing my ticket. The manager came and said they were extremely busy w a large party in the patio. Not one did he ever apologized. He only kept making excuses as to why no one could take care of us. I don’t care why you can’t take care of me…FIX the issue AND take care of me! Today we decided to come back. We ordered THREE TACOS! Carne guisada w beans and two fajitas w CHEESE, GRILLED ONIONS and tomatoes. Thirty minutes later, we got our tacos. BUT the beef tacos didn’t have cheese and nor grilled onions. I do not understand what is going on?!? This is not the norm for Casa G service. We used to go to Ramos in town but quit going there because of the service. There are plenty of other Mexicans restaurants in the area but we CHOOSE to come to Casa G. I have been a frequent customer, ever since I lived in S Austin and would frequent the one on Manchaca. If no one cares about the customer service, correctness of food delivered, then I guess it’s best we part ways and go to another restaurant that will value us as a customer. Please take care of the issue. Perhaps additional training? Kitchen help needs to be addressed as well. Everyone around us orders full plates AFTER we ordered our tacos and their food was ready way before us. I’d appreciate a follow up phone call from Ernest. We met him when the restaurant first opened and will chat whenever he’s around.
Thank you!
