My daughter and I went into the Magna Café Rio last Friday (Sept 6th) for dinner. I ordered the 2 shredded chicken tacos. My first bite into my taco, I felt a very sharp pain in the back of my mouth, on my gum. In a panic, I grabbed the food out of my mouth, I had to pull what was stabbing me out of my gum. I picked through the chicken to find a piece of wire. The kind of wire you would find on a wire bristle brush. The wire was cooked into the chicken. My daughter took the wire and asked for the manager. She explained what happened to the manager, he took the wire said “damn that sucks” , said he didn’t know where it came from and said sorry as he walked away. Upset and frustrated with his lack for customer service and sympathy for what happened, I walked up with my food and asked to be refunded for it. After about 5 or so minutes of standing there, he gave me a reprint of my receipt and he walked away. Again NO personal apology for what happened or anything about the refund. I called the store on Sept 8th, asked for the manager, asked him about my refund, he told me 2 days. When I asked him for his name, he hung up on me. As of today, Sept 11th, still no refund. I am very upset with this manager and his totally unacceptable lack of customer service and the fact that I was lied to about a refund. I am sickened by what happened, I am upset at this manager and his lack of customer service and I will NEVER go to that location again. I just want the refund that I asked for.

susanpendley777@ ymail.com We are regulars at Cafe Rio. We live in Cave Creek, AZ. We drove 11 miles to Cafe Rio, passing many restaurants along the way. Today we patronized Cafe Rio at 950 East Bell at 12:25 P.M. Although all the food is good, we tend to make the same food choices. My husband ordered a vegetarian burrito enchilada style. The server, Zoe, put one scoop of rice and two scoops of beans. My husband said, “There are supposed to be two spoons of rice also.” Nasty sounding Zoe, the server, with a huge attitude barked, “There are two!” I asked her to start over then. She then proceeded to get indignant and start yelling at both of us that she doesn’t have to listen to this as she put her hands on the counter and leaned forward in a menacing gesture. She was so loud that another worker came from the other end of the counter. We told her what happened, she apologized and made the burrito as it should have been the first time. We asked to speak to the manager. We were told that Maggi, the manager, wouldn’t be working until tomorrow. I only wished I would have taken a picture of the first burrito and videoed the assault we took from Zoe.

Dear, Sir/Madam: My experience with the Stephanie Store in Henderson has been up until now. However, on Sunday July 22 2018 the usual Manager was not there and the following irregularities took place The tables were in cleaned and when asked to clean the table there was no response. We asked for Lemonade and Horchata which were out and I was told there was no more of either the food was cold and the beans were dripping into the tacos. The staff was root especially the cashier I was told there was no more Ice in the ice machine, I was very disappointed with the whole situation it is usually very good and clean.

I am a regular at All cafe rio locations in Las Vegas. I am a working professional and I LOVE cafe rio. Recently I have made alternative meal choices. Blue Diamond is my local location and id have to say that I have driven an extra 10 miles to go to another location on Eastern. Both locations have disappointed me. Everything I have enjoyed from cleanliness, quality of food, environment and customer service has failed. Its been MONTHS since I’ve been disappointed in hope of management noticing the flaws as I see them. If I see them, others will. But unfortunately there has been no change.
Food is not consistent with taste, smell, consistency and appearance
Display in restaurant has rotten limes, lemons, discolored , not fully stocked.
Environment is lacking maintenance; light bulbs, trash cans full, cleaning rags left on tables, dirty tables, custom cafe rio juices empty, Maintenance on juice and soda dispensers, utensils not stocked, dirty hot sauce bottles.
Customer Service is horrible in exception to 2 employees.
I would love to speak with someone from corporate in hope to assist in making these restaurants better. Cafe Rio is amazing when its 100%. Please contact me anytime.

Just wanted to let you know what is going on at the Cafe Rio in Irvine CA.
Today I went in there around 4:45 to order dinner to go. There were four people in the back prep area where the queso is made messing around, laughing and carrying on. What caught my attention was that one of the employees was putting food in his mouth and he was wearing food prep gloves. I thought it was odd first because he was eating in the prep area and second he was wearing food prep gloves. I watched him while he ate. He then walked over to the tortilla station and started making the small tortillas without changing his gloves.
If that wasnt enough, the other three workers decided to put visine into each others eyes while one of them was making queso. Were they all stoned??? Who knows but the fact that they were dropping Visine in their eyes while the girl was stirring queso is dangerous.
This location seems to have poor management. This is not the first time I have had less than par dealings with them. A few weeks ago I ordered Cafe Rio online through the doordash app. I asked for a bean and cheese burrito. Instead of getting a bean and cheese burrito I got a burrito with beans, cheese and rice. I cut the burrito in half and tried to take out some of the rice and found a hair which was about 2.5 inches.
I am contacting the health department at this point.

My family have been always been loyal costomers at Cafe Rio. We go almost weekly. But I have to to say that in the past few months we have been very disappointed in it. We usually order to go and eat at home and about 80% of the time the order is wrong or they forget to give us what we ordered. We usually have to drive back or deal with it. I would say in the last couple months we have had our orders screwed up 4-5 times! They will forget to give us dressing we ordered. Recover acdofferent meat than ordered. Quesadillas were corn not flour one time so kids wouldn’t eat them. We normally try and check to make sure it’s all there. Last week my salad was supposed to have NO beans but instead had extra. So I couldn’t even eat it and did not want to drive back to correct it. Not convenient. We have been so disappoint that we may stop going there, but our kids like to go so I keep hoping it will get better. When I do go back and ask for refun the manager has told us they cannot do that for us. I found that to be very poor in costumer service.

I went to the cafe rio in bountiful 234 S 500 W i originally want a steak burrito which they told me they were out of steak so my husband and i ordered pork instead and a nino quesadilla for my 4 year old. As i ordered i noticed the food station was horrible there was food all over the place which wouldn’t have been so bad except that they weren’t changing the containers they were bringing the bags of sauce up front pouring them in including the black beans which really grossed me out i told them what i had as i payed i saw them brink the nino quesadilla over but when i got home it was not in my bag which made me mad because now i have my 4 year old crying because he didn’t have anything to eat i have never had such a bad experience as i had at this one

The gym I called was ” La fitness ” queens location
That was the first time I had someone laugh at me for asking about part time jobs. I am shocked and this whole queens location need to know what customer service is all about because clearly they have the wrong people answering phones where potential customers and people have basic questions thinking it’s simple to answer them. Yet I was insulted and mocked, as an Egyptian American I can not let this go without a lesson for everyone that made my experience of asking about a job such a horrible one.

I called to ask for a job. The person so called customer service representative laughed at my question. Now I thankGod I see what kind of people work there and no thank you I wouldn’t want to be there work there or workout there because I believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect despite anything. And lesson about customer service : it’s not about U and ur lil ego. It’s putting that aside and doing ur job and answering simple questions ! Wow not so hard to do right. Anyway learned a lot from today’s experience and I look forward to seeing how this location handles the worst customer service situation I had to face today. Let’s learn to be decent people.
